Es ist Release-Day für das März-Release von WaffleFlower und ich habe heute noch eine Karte mit Produkten, die schon vorgestern vorgestellt wurden. Aber ich konnte einfach nicht alles auf eine Karte packen....

It's release day of the march release by WaffleFlower today and I have another card to share with you using products, that were introduced two days ago. I just couldn't pack everything onto one card...
Hier habe ich das Confetti Background Stencil Set benutzt. Ich liebe Luftschlangen, besonders, wenn sie so toll dreidimensional wirken. Als ich also den Stencil gesehen habe, war ich sofort verliebt!
Ich habe hier ein Stück hellgrünen Cardstocks genommen und die einzelnen Lagen des Stencils darauf gewischt. Die grünen Luftschlangen sind mit Distress Ink Cracked Pistacchio und Evergreen Bough, die roten mit Abandoned Coral in beiden Varianten, Ink und Oxide, gemacht. Die runden Konfetti habe ich dann mit goldener Stencilpaste auf den Cardstock gebracht.
Die Sterne sind ebenfalls mit goldener Stencilpaste gemacht, anschließend habe ich goldenen Glitter in die feuchte Paste gestreut. Allerdings befinden sich die Sterne nicht auf dem Cardstock, ich habe sie auf ein Stück Acetate aufgetragen. Später habe ich die Folie dann mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt, so hat der Hintergrund mehr Tiefe.
Apropos Tiefe - ich habe einen hellgrauen N2-Copicmarker verwendet, um um die auf den Cardstock gestencilten Luftschlangen und Konfetti einen Schatten aufzumalen. So bekommt der Hintergrund ganz ohne viel Aufwand noch mehr Tiefe.
Here I used the Confetti Stencil set. I love streamers, especially if they have a 3D look. So when I saw this stencil I immediately fell inlove.
I used a piece of light green cardstock for my background and stenciled the different layers of the background onto it. I used Distress Ink Cracked Pistacchio and Evergreen Bough for the green streamers, the red ones I did with Abandoned Coral, combining both the Oxide and Ink version. The round confetti I did with some gold stencil directly onto the cardstock.
The stars I also did with the gold stencil paste, then covered the wet paste with gold glitter. But I didn't stencil those onto the cardstock but a piece of acetate. Later I adhered it with thin foam tape to give the background some more depth.
Talking about depth - I used a light grey N2 Copic marker to draw a drop shadow around the stenciled confetti and streamers. It's a very easy way to add more depth to a one layer cardstock piece.
Die Karte ist mehr auf der Clean-and-Simple Seite - auf den Hintergrund habe ich "nur" einen Text aufgeklebt.
Ich habe die ebenfalls neue Happy Birthday Script Word Die Stanze benutzt und den Text vier Mal aus weißem und einmal aus koralle-rotem Cardstock gestanzt. Das rote Stanzteil habe ich wieder mit Abandoned Coral ein wenig gewischt und außerdem Highlights mit einem weißen Gelstift aufgemalt.
Die Schattenlage habe ich aus Vellum gestanzt. Zwei der weißen Texte befinden sich darunter, zwei weiße sowie die rote Lage obenauf.
Zwischendrin habe ich noch zwei Geburtstagskerzen mit eingebaut. Die habe ich mit der Kerzenstanze aus dem Sweet Cupcake Stanzenset aus dem selben Cardstock gestanzt, den ich für den Hintergrund benutzt habe, und mit Evergreen Bough schattiert. Dann habe ich die passende Coloring Stencil benutzt und das Streifenmuster mit goldener Stencilpaste aufgetragen. Die Flammen habe ich aus goldenem Glitter-Cardstock gestanzt. Hinter die Kerzen habe ich jeweils eine weiße Kerze ein wenig versetzt aufgeklebt.
The card is more on the clean and simple side - I "just" added a text to the background.
I used the also new Happy Birthday Script Word Die and cut the text four times from white and once from coral cardstock. I inked the coral die cut lightlywith Abandoned Coral and also added highlights with a white gel pen.
The shadow layer I cut from vellum. Two of the white text die cuts are underneath, two white and the red die cut on top of the vellum.
Inbetween I added two birthday candles. I die cut those using a die from the Sweet Cupcake die set using the same cardstock I used for the background. I inked the candles with Evergreen Bough and then stenciled the stripes onto them using the matching coloring stencil and gold stencil paste. The flames I die cut from gold glitter cardstock. Behind each candle I put one cut from white cardstock.
Wie schon erwähnt, habe ich die Folie mit den Sternen mit 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Damit die Folie auch überall erhaben ist, habe ich jeweils hinter die kleinen Sterne winzige Stücke 3D Tape gesetzt.
Der Text ist wegen der zwei Lagen weißen Cardstocks hinter dem Text bereits erhaben, dahinter konnte ich problemlos mehr des 3D Tapes verstecken.
Den grünen Cardstock mit den aufgestencilten Luftschlangen habe ich auf ein etwas größeres Stück korallefarbenen Cardstocks geklebt und dann die Folie, die ich in kompletter Größe der Karte zugeschnitten habe, obenauf geklebt.
Zum Schluss kam dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling.
As I mentioned above I did adhere the acetate with the stars to the background using foam tape. To make sure the acetate is raised all over the card I put tiny pieces of foam tape behind the glittery stars that I stenciled onto the acetate.
The text is already raised because of the two white die cuts behind the vellum, behind it I was able to hide more foam tape.
I put a slightly larger piece of coral colored cardstock behind the green background with the stenciled on streamers and put the acetate, that I had cut down to the full size of the card front, on top.
Then I adhered everthing to a white note card.
