Heute habe ich eine weitere Karte mit dem neusten Release von WaffleFlower. Das dreht sich rund ums Thema Geburtstag und Geburtstagskarten kann man ja nie genug haben. Hier habe ich auch noch ein etwas älteres Produkt mit dazugemixt....

Today I have another card using products from the latest release by WaffleFlower for you. This release is all about birthdays and we can never have too many birthday cards ready, right? Here I also mixed in an slightly older product....

 

 Ich habe hier eine Karte mit einer Front aus Acetate gemacht. Durch die sieht man natürlich schon die Szene im Inneren der Karte, aber das macht ja nichts. 

Auf das Acetate habe ich den Konfetti Hintergrund aufgestencilt. Und damit das auf der Folie auch hält, habe ich dafür Stenciling Paste genommen. 

Die Luftschlangen habe ich alle mit goldener Paste aufgetragen. Eigentlich sind sie verschiedenfarbig gedacht und daher auf verschiedene Stencils aufgeteilt. Da ich jede Lage erst trocknen lassen musste, hat die Kartenfront ein wenig gedauert, aber ich konnt mich während der Wartezeit ja ums Innere der Karte kümmern. Die Schatten auf den Luftschlangen habe ich dann mit Distress Ink Crackling Campfire auf die Paste gewischt.

Weil ich nicht wollte, dass auch die Sterne und runden Konfetti gold sind, habe ich jeweils etwas goldene Paste mit Distress Ink Re-Inker Fired Brick eingefärbt - wenig für die Sterne und  mehr für die runden Konfetti.

Auf die Folie habe ich dann einen Text aus dem         Stempelset aufgeklebt. Ich habe ihn weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst und dann mit der passenden Stanze ausgestanzt. Anschließend habe ich ein Rechteck aus goldenem Metallic Cardstock geschnitten, es schwarz gemattet, einen Rahmen mit einem rotbraunen Glitter Gelstift aufgemalt und den Text aufgeklebt.

 

Here I made a card with an acetate front. Of course you can see what's on the inside of the card through the acetate but that's not too bad, right?

I used the     stencils to add the confetti background onto the acetate and went with stencil paste to apply the pattern.

The streamers I made with gold stencil paste. They are actually on different stencils to make them in different colors so I had to let dry each layer to be able to add the next one, so the card front took some time. But while waiting for the paste to dry I was able to work on the inside. I then added the shadows to the streamers with Distress Ink Crackling Campfire, applying it on top of the paste.

Since I didn't want the stars and round confetti be gold as well, I mixed some Distress Ink Re-Inker Fired Brick into the paste - a little for the stars and more for the round confetti.

I  then added a text from         onto the acetate card fronnt. I white heat embossed it onto black cardstock and cut it out with the coordinating dies. Then I cut a rectangle from gold metallic cardstock, matted it black, drew a frame onto it with a reddish brown glitter gel pen and glued the text onto it.

 

 Den ausgestanzten Text habe ich mit 3D Tape auf das Rechteck geklebt. 

Und hier könnt Ihr den Schimmer der Stencil Paste etwas erkennen.

Und das ist die Szene die sich zeigt, wenn man die Karte öffnet. Passt da der Text auf der Vorderseite nicht einfach perfekt dazu? Als ich den gelesen habe, wusste ich, dass da die Möwe aus dem  Happy Seagull Stanzenset ins Spiel kommen muss. 

Die Innenseite der Karte besteht aus einem Stück hellblauen Cardstocks, auf den ich einen dunkler blauen Streifen für das Meer und darunter einen cremefarbenen Streifen für den Strand geklebt habe. 

Den dunkler blauen Streifen habe ich mit Distress Ink Mermaid Lagoon leicht gewischt und dann einige Wellen mit einem weißen Fineliner aufgemalt.

Der Strand besteht aus einem Streifen cremefarbenen Cardstocks, den ich erst mit Distress Oxide Antique Linen und Scorched Timber gewischt habe. Dann habe ich Distress Ink Vintage Photo und weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

 

And this is the scene you get when opening the card. Isn't the text on the front just perfect with it? WhenI read that I knew I had to bring in the seagull from the Happy Seagull die set here.

The inside of the card is made from a piece of light blue cardstock, that I glued a strip of darker blue cardstock for the ocean and under it a strip of cream colored cardstock for the beach onto. I  lightly inked the darker blue cardstock with some Distress Ink Mermaid Lagoon and drew some waves with a white gel pen.

The sand is made from a strip of cream colored cardstock, that I first inked with Distress Oxide Antique Linen and Scorched Timber. Then I splattered some Distress Ink Vintage Photo and white acrylic paint onto it.

 

 Die Möwe - und auch den Felsen aus dem selben Stanzenset - habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert. Auf dem Kopf trägt sie einen Partyhut aus einem Firschkörper. Auch der ist aus dem Happy Seagull Set.

Und die Möwe hat sich hier doch anläßlich ihres Geburtstags statt Pommes einen leckeren Geburtstags-Cupcake geschnappt! Der ist mit dem Stencilset, das es samt runder Briefmarken-Stanze als Gratisprodukt gibt/gab, gemacht. Ich habe den Cupcake mit Distress Ink Antique Linen, Wild Honey, Crackling Campfire und Fired Brick gewischt und den Cupcake anschließend per Hand ausgeschnitten. Dann habe ich mit Polychromos noch ein paar Details wie Falten in das Papierförmchen gemalt.

In die Cremehaube habe ich dann noch eine Kerze und ein Fähnchen aus dem Set         sowie einen Fischschwanz gesteckt. Der ist aus der Eimerfüllung aus Happy Seagull.

Partyhut und Fischschwanz im Cupcake sind mit Stickles beglittert.

Unten in den Sand habe ich dann noch Fußabdrücke gestempelt. Dafür habe ich einen Stempel aus dem Set Inquisitive Seagulls benutzt und sie mit Versafine Clair Portobello aufgestempelt. Den Felsen habe ich zerschnitten und jeweils einen Teil an die linke und rechte Kante des Strandes geklebt.

 

The seagull - and also the rock from the same die set - I cut from white cardstock and colored it with Copics. On the head the seagull is wearing a party hat, made from a fish. Also this comes in the Happy Seagull die set.

And because it's her birthday this seagull didn't snag some fries but a yummy birthday cupcake! I made that with the     stencil, that and a round postage stamp are this month's freebie. I stenciled the cupcake with Distress Ink Antique Linen, Wild Honey, Crackling Campfire and Fired Brick and then cut it out by hand. 

I useed Polychromos to add some details like the folds in the paper liner. 

Into the icing I put a candle and flag from         and another fish tail, that's from the bucket filling from Happy Seagull.

The party hat and fish tail I covered with Stickles.

Onto the sand I stamped some footprints. I used a stamp from the Inquisitive Seagulls stamp set an Versafine Clair Portobello here. The rock I cut apart and glued one piece each to the left and right edge of the card.

 

 Auf den hellblauen Cardstock für den Himmel habe ich mit weißer Pigment-Tinte frei Hand ein paar Wolken aufgetupft. Dann habe ich einen Geburtstagstext darauf aufgebracht. Der ist übrigens auch der Grund für den Text auf der Kartenfront - ich wollte den Text im Inneren unbedingt verstecken...

Das Happy Birthday ist aus dem Set         und mit schwarzer Tinte direkt auf den Himmel gestempelt. Der Textstreifen darunter ist aus dem Textset         - hier kommen die Texte praktischerweise als vorgedruckte Streifen, weißer Text auf schwarzem Grund. 

 

I used white pigment ink to free hand ink some clouds onto the sky. Then I put a birthday text onto it. This text is also the reason for the text on the card front - I really wanted to hide the text on the inside when the card is closed.

The happy birthday is from         and stamped black directly onto the sky. The text strip underneath is from          - here the text come readily printed white on black which is really handy.

 

 Oben am Acetate habe ich einen schmalen Streifen nach hinten gefalzt und an die Rückseite des hellblauen Cardstocks geklebt. Dann habe ich alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt.

 

At the top I folded a thin strip  of the acetate backwards and glued that to the back of the light blue cardstock. Then I adhered the card panel to a white note card.
