Heute habe ich eine weitere Karte mit den März-Produkten von WaffleFlower für Euch. Jetzt ist mein Vorrat an Geburtstagskarten dann auch endlich wieder aufgefüllt.

Today I have another card with the march release product by WaffleFlower for you. Now I really have stocked up my stash of birthday cards.
Ich finde, allein durch die Farbwahl ist diese Karte auch für Männer super geeignet.
Basis ist hier ein Stück hellbraunen Cardstocks. Auf den habe ich im oberen Bereich Luftschlangen - wieder mit dem Confetti Background Stencilset - aufgebracht. Diesmal habe ich nur die Luftschlangen, ohne die Sterne und Konfetti, aufgetragen. Die Luftschlangen sind mit Distress Ink Fossilized Amber, die Schatten mit Brushed Corduroy gemacht.
Anschließend habe ich ein wenig weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.
I think, just because of the colors I used this card is perfect for men also.
As the base I cut a rectangle from light brown cardstock. Onto the upper two thirds I stenciled some streamers, again using the Confetti Background stencil set. This time I only did streamers and left out the stars and round confetti. I used Distress Ink Fossilized Amber for the streamers and added the shadows with Brushed Corduroy.
Then I splattered a bit of white acrylic paint onto the cardstock.
Hauptelemnt meiner Deko ist der Text, gemacht mit der Stanze.
Der Text besteht aus zwei Lagen weißen und einer Lage braunen Cardstocks, die ich aufeinander und dann auf die Shadow Layer, gemacht aus dunkel türkisfarbene Cardstock, geklebt habe. Die braunen Buchstaben habe ich jeweils von unten mit ein wenig Brushed Corduroy gewischt. Und das I in Birthday habe ich durch eine Geburtstagskerze ersetzt. Die ist aus dem Stanzenset . Ich habe sie aus hell-türkisfarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und mit der dazugehörigen Coloring Stencil und Distress Ink Peacock Feathers die Streifen aufgewischt.
Das I aus Birthday habe ich herausgeschnitten und so durch die Kerze ersetzt, dass sie hinter dem Happy verläuft.
Mit dem Gratisprodukt für den Monat März habe ich ein wenig Deko kreiert. Ich habe die runde Postage-Stanze zweimal aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Einen der Kreise habe ich links hinter den gestanzten Text gesetzt, auf den anderen habe ich mit der Stencil aus dem Gratisset einen Cupcake aufgewischt. Dafür habe ich Distress Ink Fossilized Amber, Brushed Corduroy, Salvaged Patina und Peacock Feathers benutzt und anschließend einige Schatten mit Copics hinzugefügt. Diesen Kreis habe ich dann rechts oben hinter den Text geschoben.
Und in die Lücke, die unter dem Text und neben dem Kreis dort entsteht, passte genau der Text aus dem ebenfalls neuen Stempelset . Ich habe ihn mit Versafine Clair Portobello direkt auf den Hintergrund gestempelt.
Main element of my card decoration is the text, made with the die.
The text is made from two layers of white and one layer of brown cardstock. I stacked them and then adhered them to the shadow layer, cut from dark turquoise cardstock. I lightly inked the brown letters with Distress Ink Brushed Corduroy. And I replaced the I in birthday with a birthday candle. This comes in the die set. I cut it from light aqua cardstock and used the coordinating coloring dies and Distress Ink Peacock Feathers to stencil the stripes onto the candle.
I cut out the I from the word birthday and replaced it with the candle, tucking the top of the candle behind the word happy.
With the free with purchase die for the month of march I created some more decoration. I die cut the round postage die twice from white cardstock. One of these I glued behind the left of the text, leaving it just as it is. On the other one I used the stencil, that comes with the die, to stencil on a cupcake. I used Distress Ink Fossilized Amber, Brushed Corduroy, Salvaged Patina and Peacock Feathers and then added some light shading with Copics. This circle I tucked behind the top right of the text.
And the gap, that I ended up with under the text and on the right of the white circle postage die cut, was just perfect to stamp a text from the also new stamp set. I stamped it with Versafine Clair Portobello directly onto the background.
Die Deko habe ich mit dünnem 3D Tape zusammen- und anschließend auch auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Als Deko habe ich einige helltürkis farbene Enamel Dots rund um den Text verteilt.
Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
I used thin foam tape to glue the decoration together and onto the background. I embellished the card panel with some light aqua Enamel Dots, that I put around the text.
Then I adhered the card panel to a white note card.
