Ich wusste es schon seit einiger Zeit und endlich kann ich es Euch erzählen - ich wurde von WaffleFlower gefragt, ob ich Gastdesigner für März sein möchte. Da musste ich natürlich nicht lange überlegen... Und heute zeige ich Euch das erste Sneak auf das neue Release. Es heißt "Hey Cupcake" und steht ganz im Zeichen von Geburtstagen und Cupcakes.

I've been dieing to tell you since quite some time and now I finally can - WaffleFlower asked me to be a guest designer for their march release. I really didn't have to think long about it... And today I am sharing with you the first sneak of the march release. It's called "Hey Cupcake" and is all about birthdays and cupcakes.
Auf der heutigen Karte zeige ich Euch neben Text-Strips das Gratisprodukt, das es zu einer Bestellung gibt. Es ist eine runde Stanze mit Briefmarkenrand und einer dazu passenden Stencil mit Cupcake.
Der Hintergrund hier besteht aus einem Stück hellrosa Cardstock, auf den ich mit weißer Tinte Strahlen aufgewischt habe. Die sind sehr dezent, aber sie machen den Hintergrund etwas interessanter. Außerdem habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.
On today's card I am sharing with you some text strips and the gift-with-purchase product of the month. It's a a circle die with a postage edge and a matching stencil with a cupcake design.
The background is made from a piece of light pink cardstock. I stenciled some rays onto it with white pigment ink, that are very subtle but still add some interest to the background. I also splattered some white acrylic paint onto it.
Ich habe den Kreis mit dem Briefmarkenrand aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und darauf dann den Cupcake mit den Cupcake - beides aus dem Set Cupcake Die-n-Stencil - aufgewischt.
Zum Wischen haben ich Distress Inks benutzt - für das Papierförmchen Festive Berries, für den Teig Scattered Straw und Fossilized Amber und für das Sahnehäubchen dann Spun Sugar und Kitsch Flamingo. Da mir das Pink dann doch ein wenig zu heftig war, habe ich über das Kitsch Flamingo noch ein wenig Festive Berries gelegt.
Mit Polychromos habe ich dann einige kleine Details im Sahnehäubchen und im Papierförmchen hinzugefügt und Highlights mit einem weißen Gelstift gesetzt.
Die Herzen, die ich rechts und links neben dem Kreis angebracht habe, sind aus einem weiteren neuen Stanzenset mit dem Namen Cupcake Toppers. Die habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Festive Berries eingefärbt.
Hinter den Kreis und die Herzen habe ich jeweils einen Schatten, den ich aus schwarzem Cardstock mit den selben Stanzen gestanzt und leicht versetzt aufgeklebt habe, angebracht.
Der Text ist aus dem Subsentiments Cupcake Diecut - vorgedruckte Textstreifen, die wohl auch folierbar sind. Das muss ich erst noch austesten, aber ich habe die schon seit einiger Zeit gesehen und war schon länger neugierig. Hier habe ich sie einfach so, wie sie kommen, verwendet und nur mit einem schwarzen Copics die Ränder eingefärbt.
Die Deko habe ich auf ein Stück Vellum geklebt, auf das ich ebenfalls Strahlen mit weiter Stempelfarbe aufgewischt habe. Auch hier habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.
I die cut the circle with the postage edge from white cardstock and stenciled the cupcake onto it using the Cupcake Die-n-Stencil set.
I used Distress Inks to stencil the image on - Festive Berries for the paper liner, Scattered Straw and Fossilized Amber for the muffin and Spun Sugar and Kitsch Flamingo for the icing. Since the pink of Kitsch Flamingo was a bit too bright I put a soft layer of Festive Berries on top.
Then I used Polychromos to add some details to the icing and the paper liner and also added highlights with a white gel pen.
The hearts, that I placed to the left and right of the circle, are from another new die set called Cupcake Toppers. I cut them from white cardstock and colored them with Festive Berries.
Behind the circle and hearts I put a shadow, cut from black cardstock using the same dies and just adhering it behind the die cuts a bit offset.
The text is from the Subsentiments Cupcake Diecut - pre-printed text strips, that seem to be foilable as well. I haven't tried that yet, but I've been dieing to since quite a while. Here I used them as they came and just used a black Copic to ink the edges.
I adhered the decorations onto a piece of vellum, that I also inked rays with white pigment ink onto, then added splatters of white acrylic paint as well.
Ich habe alles mit 3D Tape auf das Vellum geklebt und dann auch hinter das Vellum 3D Tape gesetzt. Als Deko habe ich einige grüne Enamel Dots aufgeklebt. Die sehen auf den Bildern sehr grün aus, sind aber eigentlich eher olivgrün.
Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
I adhered evverything with foam tape to the vellum and then put some foam tape also behind the vellum. As decoration I added some green Enamel Dots, that look pretty bright on the pictures but are actually more of an olive green.
Then I put the card panel onto a white note card.
