"Awesome Autumn" lautet das Thema der LawnFawnatics Challenge #205. Als Sommerkind bin ich doch sehr traurig, dass sich der Sommer so langsam verabschiedet. (Wobei er für mich wegen des doch eher wenig tollen Wetters gefühlt noch gar nicht so richtig stattgefunden hat.) Aber wenn es ums Basteln geht, dann mag ich den Herbst mit seinen warmen Farben doch sehr gerne.

"Awesome Autumn" is the theme of the LawnFawnatics Challenge #205. As a summer lover I am really sad that summer is coming to an end. And with all the quite bad and cold weather it even feels like summer hasn't even happened yet. But when it comes to crafting I love fall with its warm colors.
Für diese Karte habe ich wieder einige Produkte aus dem letzten Release von LawnFawn benutzt. Und wie ich es für Szene-Karten liebe, besteht die wieder aus mehreren Lagen. Das sorgt einfach für so viel Tiefe.
Hier habe ich einen Hintergrund, eine Lage mit Motiven, einem Rahmen aus dem Spooky Forest Backdrop und obenauf einem der Reverse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Windows. Und alles habe ich eher in gedeckten Erdtönen gehalten.
For this card I used some more of the products from LawnFawn's latest release. And like I do on all my scene cards I worked with several layers. It just adds so much depth to a card.
Here I created a backround, a layer with images, a frame made with the Spooky Forest Backdrop and on top one of the Reverse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Windows. I used quite muted and earthy colors for this card.
Der Hintergrund besteht aus weißem Cardstock, den ich mit Distress Oxide Antique Linen, Dried Marigold, Tea Dye und Rusty Hinge gewischt habe.
Die durch die Luft wirbelnden Blätter sind mit dem Autumn Breeze Stencil gemacht. Ich habe das Muster erst in der Big Shot in den Cardstock geprägt und dann die Blätter mit Distress Ink Gathered Twigs und Fired Brick aufgewischt. Anschließend habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.
Die Blätter an den Bäumen des Spooky Forest Backdrops, den ich aus grau-braunem Cardstock gestanzt habe, sind aus dem Set Stitched Strawberry Frame und eigentlich Erdbeerblätter an einer Ranke. Aber die haben mir von der Form und Größe her hier am besten gefallen. Also habe ich sie mehrfach gestanzt, von der Ranke abgeschnitten und mit Copics coloriert. Dann habe ich sie an die Bäume geklebt.
Der Text ist einem "Yay!" aus Elephant Parade Add-On und einem "fall is here" aus Jump for Joy zusammengesetzt. Die Texte habe ich mit grau-brauner Tinte auf softgrünen Cardstock gestempelt.
The background is made from white cardstock that I inked with Disress Oxide Antique Linen, Dried Marigold, Tea Dye and Rusty Hinge.
For the leaves, that are blown around by the wind, I used the Autumn Breeze stencil. I first dry embossed them into the cardstock with my Big Shot, then inked the leaves with Distress Ink Gathered Twigs and Fired Brick. Then I splattered white acrylic paint onto the background.
The leaves on the trees of the Spooky Forest Backdrop, that I die cut from grey-ish brown cardstock, are from Stitched Strawberry Frame. Originally those are strawberry leaves on a vine but I liked them for my card because of their size and shape. So I die cut a few of them, cut them off the vine and colored them with Copics. Then I glued them onto the branches of the trees.
The text is made from a "yay!" from Elephant Parade Add-On and a "fall is here" from Jump for Joy. I stamped both with grey-ish brown ink onto muted green cardstock.
Als Hintergrund für meine Motive habe ich die Mauer aus Simply Celebrate Hangouts abgestempelt und in der Höhe um zwei Reihen verlängert. Dann habe ich die Mauer mit den passenden Coloring Stencils und Distress Ink Frayed Burlap, Gathered Twigs und Fired Brick eingefärbt. Normalerweise coloriere ich lieber selbst, aber für solche Motive sind die Coloring Stencils super. Auch auf die Mauer habe ich feine Sprenkel weißer Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.
Vor der Mauer befinden sich dann einige Motive aus dem neuen Spring Basket Add-On Fall Set sowie ein Streifen hellgrünen Cardstocks als Wiese. Auf der stehen zwei der kleine Gänse aus Silly Goose und freuen sich über die reiche Ernte. Eine weitere Ente befindet sich oben auf der Mauer. Die hatte ich nur vorsichtshalber coloriert und wollte sie erst überhaupt nicht benutzen, aber der Himmel war dann doch etwas zu leer. Also hat sich doch einen Platz gefunden. Und damit sie da auf der Mauer nicht so alleine ist, habe ich noch die kleine Schnecke aus Spring Basekt Add-On Fall dazugesetzt.
Den unteren Teil des Spooky Forest Backdrop habe ich ein weiteres mal aus gedeckt-grünem Cardstock gestanzt und als weitere Graslage auf die andere Graslage geklebt. Darauf kam dann das Pilzmotiv aus Spring Basekt Add-On Fall sowie zwei Kürbisse aus Pick of the Patch Add-On.
As the background for my images I used the wall from Simply Celebrate Hangouts, adding two rows to make it taller. Then I used the matching coloring stencils to color the wall in with Distress Ink Frayed Burlap, Gathered Twigs and Fired Brick. Usually I prefer coloring with Copics, but images like this are so much easier to color with the stencils. I added fine splatters of white acrylic paint to the wall, too.
In front of the wall I placed several images from the also new Spring Basket Add-On Fall and a strip of light green cardstock as grass. On this grass there are two small geese from Silly goose, being all excited about their rich harvest. Another goose is standing on top of the wall. Originally I had just colored it just in case, not really planning on using it on this card. But then the sky seemed a bit empty and the goose found its place on this card. To make sure she's not all on herself up there on that wall I added the little snail from Fpring Basket Add-On Fall next to her.
I die cut the bottom of the Spooky Forest Backdrop again from muted green cardstock and glued that down as another grass layer. On top of that I placed the mushrooms from Spring Basekt Add-On and two pumpkins from Pick of the Patch Add-On.
Für mich muss der Herbst einfach ein wenig glitzern, so wie die Morgensonne in Tautropfen. Deswegen habe ich einige hellorange irisierende Glitzersteine auf dem Himmel verteilt.
Ich habe die Szene mit 3D Tape zusammengesetzt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohing geklebt.
For me a fall card just has to add some glitter, like the morning sun is glinting in the dew drops. So I added some light orange iridescent rhinestones to the sky.
I put the scene together with foam tape and adhered the card panel to a white note card.
