Ein Blick aus dem Fenster - äh Bullauge

 Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Gestern war ich wieder auf der Stempelmesse Süd - ein toller Tag. Danke an all die lieben Freunde, die ich dort (wieder) getroffen habe. Es wurde geknuddelt, gequatscht und gelacht. Genau das ist es, was eine Stempelmesse ausmacht und den Tag dort noch besonderer macht!

Und für alle, die heute noch dorthin unterwegs sind, hier noch eine Karte mit einem neuen Set von Silke. Die Fische, Quallen und Seesterne schwimmen nämlich auch an ihrem Stand herum.

Yesterday I visited the stampfair Stempelmesse Süd - it was such a great day! Thanks to all the friends I've met there (again). It was a lot of hugging, talking and laughing. And that's what makes a stamp fair such an great event and the day there special!

For everyone who's on the way there today I have another card to share with one of the new sets by Scrapbook Forever. Those fish, yellyfish and starfish are swimming around in her boost.

Ich habe hier eine Shadowbox Karte gemacht, die einen Blick aus dem Bullauge gewährt. Dort treffen sich gerade der Fisch und die Qualle. Und der Seestern schaut frech zum Fenster herein.

Die Karte ist aus hellblauem Cardstock gemacht, die Front mit schwarzem Cardstock beklebt. Das Bullauge ist aus silberfarbenem Spiegelkarton gestanzt und mit schwarzen Enamel Accents beklebt. 

Den Spruch habe ich auf ein kleines Fähnchen gestempet und quer dort angebracht.

Im Hintergrund habe ich das Gras aus dem Set Die Zeit heilt Wunden einfach als Unterwasserpflanzen zweckentfremdet, darüber habe ich mit weißer Tinte den neuen Blasenhintergrund aufgestempelt.

Here I've made a shadow box card that gives you a look out of my porthole. There fish and yellyfish are meeting up and the little starfish is looking through my window.

The card was made from blue cardstock, the front is covered with black cardstock. The porthole is cut from silver mirror cardstock and decorated with a few black Enamel Accents.

The saying is stamped onto a small banner and attached to the front.

In the background I've used a grass image from a sympathy set and simply turned it into water plants. On top of it I've added some bubbles using white ink.

Die Motive sind mit Copics coloriert. Fisch und Qualle sind an einem schmalen Streifen Klarsichtfolie angeklebt, den ich mittig quer in der Shadowbox angebracht habe. So erhält die Karte mehr Dimension.

Der Seestern ist von innen mit 3D Tape unterhalb des Fensters angebracht.

The images were colored with Copics. Fish and yellyfish are attached to a small strip of transparency that I've glued into the box to add some more dimension.

The starfish is attached to the inside of the card using dimensionals.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 06. April 2019

Die Schnupfenzeit scheint dieses Jahr mal wieder kein Ende nehmen zu wollen. Darum zeigen wir Euch beim Stempeleinmaleins heute diese Karte mit Taschentuchspender - denn mit eine lieben Gruß zur guten Besserung geht das Genesen doch viel schneller.

It seems like cold season doesn't come to an end again this year. So we at Stempeleinmaleins are sharing a tutorial for this card with an included hankerchief box - because a card full of love and get well wishes recovering happens so much faster.

Ich habe hier seit langem mal wieder eine Tilda verwendet. 

Die Karte selbst ist aus kraftfarbenem Cardstock gearbeitet, beklebt mit rotem Cardstock, hellbraunem Designpapier mit Herzenprint und weißem Cardstock, den ich mit dem Embossingfolder der vor 2 Jahren im Halloweenkalender von Magnolia enthalten war mit Kreuzen beprägt habe.

Here I've used a Tilda again - for the first time since quite a while.

The card itself is cut from craft colored cardstock and covered with red cardstock, light brown designer's paper with a heart pattern and white cardstock that I've dry embossed with crosses using the embossing folder that was included in Magnolias Halloween calendar 2017.

 Die Tilda habe ich coloriert und anschließend ausgeschnitten. Das Häubchen ist eine Stanze, die ebenfalls in dem Kalender enthalten war und die ich nach dem Stanzen einfach aufgeklebt habe. Dann habe ich Tilda so aufgeklebt, als stände sie hinter dem Text. Der ist mit dem Gute-Besserung-in-der-Tüte Stempel von AEH Design gemacht - den oberen Teil habe ich, da es hier ja nicht passt - einfach nicht mit abgestempelt. 

Im Hintergrund habe ich Cheesecloth und eine Herzschlaglinie aufgeklebt, unten vor den Text noch die Arzneiflasche von LeLo und einen Löffelcharm.

Da oben gefühlt noch etwas fehlte, habe ich  noch den "Knuddelgruß" aus dem Osterset von Kulricke auf ein Fähnchen abgestempelt und aufgeklebt.

Tilda was colored and cut out. The hat is a die that was also included in the calendar. After die cutting it I've simply glued it onto her head.

Then I've attached Tilda to the card in a way that makes her look standing behind the text. There are different things that do you good when you're sick listed there. Like "drink lots of tea", "take lots of vitamins" and also "get well soon". 

In the background I've added cheesecloth and a die cut heartbeat line, at the bottom and in front of the text I've added a medicine bottle and a spoon shaped charm.

Since it felt like there was something missing at the top I've added some "hugs" here, stamped on a little banner.

So sieht die Karte dann geöffnet aus - mit enthaltener Taschentuchbox.

Ich habe die Karte innen mit weißem Cardstock beklebt und dann die Box gearbeitet.

This is the opened card - including a hankerchief box.

I've covered the inside of the card with white cardstock and then added the box.

In den oberen Teil der Karte habe ich noch Gute-Besserungs-Wünsche (beide von Kulricke) gestempelt.

Die Box ist wieder aus kraftfarbenem Cardstock gemacht und mit rotem Designpapier mit Herzprint beklebt.

In the top part of the card I've stamped some get well wishes.

The box was made from craft colored carstock again and then covered with red designer's paper with a heart print.

Nochmal Mohn

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Heute habe ich nochmal eine Karte mit einem der neuen Sets von SF Stamps. Und ich habe nochmal den Mohn verwendet. Ich habe noch einige Karten mehr fertig - auch mit Stempelsets, die ich Euch hier noch nicht gezeigt habe. Aber mit der Karte bin ich selbst so zufrieden, dass mir das Zeigen unter den Nägeln brennt.

Today I have another card with one of the new stamps by SF Stamps. And again I've used the poppies stamp set. I have several other cards ready - also using stamp sets I haven't shared here yet. But I am so happy how this one turned out so I am eager to share it.

Bevor ich mich mit fremden Federn schmücke - eigentlich ist das eine ziemliche Kopie. Aber ich bin über dieses Tutorial für Watercolors gestolpert und wollte das unbedingt auch ausprobieren. Ich hatte nicht die im Tutorial verwendeten Farben, also habe ich das verwendet, was ich dachte, könnte auch passen. 

Before you think I am a great artist - this card is quite a copy. But I came across this tutorial for water colors and just wanted to try this myself. I didn't have the colors/brand of colors used in the tutorial and so I went with what I had and thought would fit.

Die Mohnblüten und -blätter sind mit Memento London Fog gestempelt, alles mit Watercolors coloriert (eine Mischung aus ZIG Real Color Brush Pens und einem No-Name Watercolor-Set). Und oben habe ich dann noch einen Text aus dem Feen-Stempelset aufgestempelt.

The poppies and leaves are stamped using Memento London Fog, then I've colored everything with watercolors using a mix of ZIG Real Color Brush Pens and a no-name watercolor set. 

To the top right I've added a saying meaning "don't wait for big wonders - you'lll miss many small ones".

Ostern naht...

Inzwischen kennt Ihr mich gut genug, um zu wissen, dass ich Stanzen gerne mal etwas zweckentfremde und dann damit etwas anderes gestalte, als wofür sie eigentlich gedacht waren. Heute zeige ich auf dem Kulricke-Blog die Picknick-Korb Stanze mal als das, was sie ist: ein Körbchen. Und weil Ostern naht, ist es natürlich ein Osterkörbchen geworden.

You know me good enough by now to know that I love to change die cuts to create something different than what the die was planned for. Today over at the Kulricke-Blog I am sharing the picnic basket die as what it's meant to be: a basket. And since Easter is coming close of course it turned out as an easter basket.

Das Körbchen selbst habe ich aus taupefarbenem Cardstock von Faltkarten gestanzt. Ich hatte farblich passende Brads und habe damit das Körbchen zusammengesetzt. Oben um den Rand habe ich noch eine Bordüre aus weißem Cardstock angebracht. Dafür habe ich einfach den Henkel des Körbchens noch einmal aus weißem Cardstock ausgestanzt, längs halbiert und oben angeklebt. Die Länge eines (halben) Henkels reicht genau für die Hälfte - die Klebestellen habe ich unter dem Henkel des Körbchens versteckt.

The basket was cut from taupe colored cardstock. I've had brads in matching color and used these to keep the basket together. Around the brim I've added a border. For this I've simply cut the handle again from white cardstock, cut it in half lengthwise and then glued it to the basekt. The length of (half) a handle covers exactly half of the brim - the areas where both handle-halfs meet are hidden under the handle of the basket.

Unten auf das Körbchen habe ich ein ausgestanztes "Osterfest", gestanzt aus hell-pinkfarbenem Cardstock, aufgeklebt. In das O habe ich ein keines Banner geklebt, auf das ich ein ZUM aus dem Stempelset Jubiläum aufgeklebt habe. Also Deko kam noch ein weißes Blümchen mit pinker Perle in der Mitte zum Einsatz.

To the body of the basket I've added a die cut "easter", cut from light pink cardstock. Onto the O I've glued a little banner on which I've stamped a "for". For decorations I've added a small white flower with a pink pearl in the middle.

Am Henkel habe ich noch einen kleinen Tag angebracht. Den habe ich mit einem der Tags Flati ausgestanzt und einen der Hasen Mini darauf geklebt - denn was wäre Ostern ohne Osterhase? Dann habe ich es mit pinkfarbenem Band angebunden.

Und diesmal ist das Körbchen sogar gefüllt - natürlich mit leckerer Schokolade. Darunter befindet sich weißes "Sizzlepack". Ich habe nämlich inzwischen gelernt, dass das der Name für diese gekräuselten Papierstreifen ist. 

To the handle I've tied a little tag. It was cut using one of the Tags Flati dies, then I've glued a stamped and colored mini bunny onto it. What's Easter without a bunny? Then I've tied the tag to the handle using pink twine.

And this time the basket is even filled - of course with some yummy chocolat. Under it is some white Sizzlepack. I just recently learned that that's the name for those paper strips - at least in Germany.

Sneak Peaks

There will be a stamp fair this coming weekend in Stuttgart - a 2.5 hour drive from where I live but every year a must-go for me. This year it was cancelled due to different reasons - and I'm so happy that Silke from SF Stamps came to the rescue and took over this event. 

Heute habe ich ein paar Sneak Peaks auf neue Stempel von Scrapbook Forever, die es in Stuttgart ganz neu geben wird. Als erstes habe ich diese Schaukelkarte mit Mohn gemacht. Die Schaukelkarten sind ja eigentlich ein "alter Hut", aber es ist wie mit so vielem - es kommt alles irgendwann wieder. Und so habe auch ich mich anstecken lassen.

Today I have a few Sneak Peaks showing brand new stamps that will be available in Stuttgart for the first time. First card is this rocker card. Those are really nothing new but it's like that in many areas of our lives - everything has its comeback one day. And so also I got hooked up and mae this one using the new poppy stamps.

Die Blüten sind mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Auf den Schaukelteil habe ich erst einen gewellten Kreis, dann einen blau eingefärbten regulären Kreis und darüber einen weißen Ring geklebt. 

The flowers have been colored in with Copics and then cut out. Onto the rocker part I've glued a scalloped circle, then a regular circle on top of that, inked up with some blue ink, and then a ring cut from white cardstock.

Die Blumen sind teils direkt auf den blau eingefärbten Kreis, teils aufeinander mit 3D Tape geklebt. Die vorderste Blume kam direkt auf den Ring. So bekommen die Motive schön Tiefe. Hier auf dem Bild kann man das ganz gut erkennen. 

Und ein kleines Banner mit einem Text durfte auch nicht fehlen.

Part of the flowers are glued directly onto the inked blue circle, part is stacked onto each other using dimensionals. The top flower is glued to the ring. That adds some nice depth to the card. I guess you can see that pretty good at the picture above.

And I also included a little banner with a stamped on "for you".

Auch die nächste Karte ist "blumig" - ist a schließlich Frühling! 

Hier habe ich die neuen Dahlien verwendet. 

Im Hintergrund habe ich Designpapier mit aufgedrucktem Text verwendet. Darauf kam, kaum erkennbar da mit hellgelber Tinte gestempelt, der ebenfalls neue Bubble-Hintergrund. Hier habe ich den Stempel eingefärbt und dann die Farbe mit einem Tuch teilweise wieder abgenommen, so dass er nur ganz leicht zu sehen ist. Die orange gestempelten Kleckse kommen mit den Dahlien im Set.

Also this card is pretty flower-ish. No wonder, spring is here!

Here I've used the new Dahlias.

In the background I've used designer's paper with a printed on text. Then I've stamped the also new bubble background on it. It's barely visible since I've used light yellow ink. I've inked up the stamp completly and then used a towel to remove some of the ink which made it more subtle. The orange speckles come in the set with the flowers.

 

Die Dahlien habe ich weiß auf Aquarellpapier embosst, mit den ZIG Brush Markern coloriert und anschließend ausgeschnitten. Die beiden größeren Blumen sind direkt auf den Hintergrund geklebt. 

Quer darüber kam ein Banner, auf das ich einen Spruch aus dem Tulpenset aufembosst habe, darüber ein ausgestanztes Danke. Die Stanze ist ebenfalls von SF Stamps. Und weil ich so ungern One-Layer-Cards mache, habe ich das Danke mit 4 aus weißem Cardstock gestanzten Danke hinterlegt. Damit es schön glänzt habe ich Glossy Accents aufgetragen.

Die kleine Blüte ist dann mit 3D Tape auf die Karte geklebt.

The Dahlias were white heat embossed onto some watercolor cardstock, colored in with ZIG Brush Markers and then cut out. The bigger flowers are glued directly onto the background, then I've added a black banner onto which I've heat embossed a saying. 

Since I barely do one layer cards I've die cut a "thanks" from red cardstock, put 4 more layers cut from white cardstock underneath and then covered the top layer with Glossy Accents. 

The smallest flower is added using dimensionals.

Und  mit der letzten Karte für heute möchte ich die Neugier all der Niedlich-Stempler befriedigen, denn natürlich ist mit dem neuen Release auch an die gedacht! 

Hier habe ich einen Wolkenhintergrund auf weißen Carstock gewischt und den dann schwarz gemattet. 

Oben habe ich ein Banner mit einem Text - den bringt der kleine Elefant mit - aufgeklebt und ein einfarbiges darunter gesetzt.

And with this last card for today I want to make all those cute stampers happy - of course there's something for them in the new release as well!

Here I've created a cloud background onto white cardstock and then matted it with black cardstock. 

To the top right I've added a banner with a saying and tucked another one cut from solid blue cardstock underneath.

Der Elefant ist mit Copics coloriert und anschließend mitsamt des Grases ausgeschnitten und auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Die Zs sind ein extra Stempel, den ich dann direkt auf den Hintergrund gestempelt habe. Und ein paar kleine Schmetterlinge durfte auch nicht fehlen. Da die aber irgendwie mit den Z konkurriert haben, habe ich Stickles auf sie aufgetragen, so heben sie sich ein wenig ab.

The elefant is colored in with Copics and then cut out including the grass and glued onto the background. The Zs are a separate stamp that I've stamped directly onto the background. And of course the elefant needed a few fluttery friends so I've added some small butterflies. Somehow they looked like more Zs so I've covered them with Stickles to make them look different.

Heute zeige ich in der FB-Ideengruppe von Stamping-Fairies diese Osterkarte. Ich liebe die Motive von Stacey Yacula - da war es klar, dass ich das neue Easter Bunny Stempelset von MFT unbedingt haben musste.

Today I am sharing this easter card in the FB group of Stamping-Fairies. I love those images by Stacey Yacula - and so it was clear that I needed the new Easter Bunny stamp set by MFT.

Ich finde, diese Motive wirken auf simplen Karten am besten. Darum habe ich nur eine weiße Grundkarte genommen, darauf ein kleineres Stück blauen Cardstock geklebt und darauf dann weißen Cardstock, auf den ich Motiv und Deko aufgebracht habe. 

I think those images look best on simple cards. So I've taken a white card base, glued a slightly smaller piece of blue cardstock on it and then added another piece of white cardstock onto which I've added the image and decorations.

Der Hase mit seinem Osterei im Wagen ist so goldig! Ich habe hier mit Copics coloriert und dem Häschen noch zwei Schmetterlinge als Begleitung gegeben.

Rund um das Motiv habe ich einen der Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frames, gestanzt aus gelb-weiß gestreiftem Cardstock, mit 3D Tape darumgeklebt.

This bunny with the easter egg in a waggon is the cutest! He was colored with Copics and I've given him two butterflies to travel with him.

Around the image I've added one of the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Frames, cut from yellow and white striped designer's paper and glued onto the card with dimensionals.

Den Text wollte ich etwas auffälliger gestalten. Also habe ich das Happy der Happy Birthday Script Stanze aus blauem Designpapier mit weißen Punkten ausgestanzt, dreifach mit Stanzteilen aus weißem Cardstock hinterlegt, und auf den Rahmen geklebt. Unten zwischen die Buchstaben habe ich dann das Easter einfach mit schwarzer Tinte auf den weißen Cardstock gestempelt.

I wanted the saying to be a bit more eye-catching. So I've die cut the Happy from the Happy Birthday Script die out of blue designer's paper with white dots, stacked three more Happys cut from white cardstock and then the blue one on top of it and glued it onto the frame. Between the p and the y I've simply stamped the Easter directly onto the white cardstock using black ink.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 30. März 2019

Natürlich haben wir beim Stempeleinmaleins auch heutigen letzten Samstag im März eine neue Sketch-Inspiration für Euch. Und bei mir ist danach diese frühlingshafte Karte entstanden.

Of course we at Stempeleinmaleins have a new sketch inspiration for you today. I used it to create this spring-ish card.

Ich habe hier einen süßen Hasen von MFT verwendet und da im Sketch mittig dieses große runde Element eingebaut ist, hat es sich angeboten, eine Reveal Wheel Karte zu machen. Ich habe dafür die Stanzen von Lawn Fawn verwendet - von dort sind auch die süßen Möhrchen. Die Schmetterlinge sind wieder von MFT, der Text von SU.

Oben und unten befinden sich eine Wolken - bzw. eine Grasbordüre. 

Und weil sie so, wie sie in den Sketch eingezeichnet sind, so toll gepasst haben, habe ich die Schmetterlinge auch so übernommen. 

Den Cardstock im Hintergrund sowie auf dem Drehrad habe ich mit Distress Oxide eingefärbt. So konnte ich die Motive auf dem Cardstock colorieren, den ich dafür immer verwende, und hatte trotzdem einen blauen Himmel. 

Für die Kartenbasis habe ich die Reveal Wheel Square Add-On Stanze und die neue Semi Circle Add-On Stanze benutzt. Den Halbkreis habe ich einfach zum Etwas-Mehr-Als-Dreiviertel-Kreis erweitert. 

I've used one of the cute bunnies by MFT here and since there is this big circle included in the sketch I knew pretty soon I wanted to use it to turn it into a reveal wheel. Therefor I've used the dies by Lawn Fawn. The cute carrots are by Lawn Fawn as well while the butterflies are MFT again. The saying ready "spring is in the air". 

At the bottom and top I've included a cloud and a grass border.

And since they fit so perfectly the way they were included in the sketch I've simply used the butterflies there and put those on my card as well.

For the card base I've used the Reveal Wheel Square Add-On die and the new Semi Circle Add-On die. I've simply enlarged the semi circle to a "a-bit-more-than-three-quarter-circle".

Und natürlich dreht sich das Rad und lässt den Hasen mit den Karotten jonglieren:

And of course the wheel turns and makes the bunny juggle the carrots:

Ein Fuchs im Winterschlaf

Bevor ich nächste Woche mit Osterideen starte, zeige ich Euch heute auf dem Kulricke-Blog noch eine weitere Karte mit einer der Neuheiten.

Before I start posting easter craft/gift ideas next week I have one more card with a new stamp to share.

Ihr habt es sicher sofort gesehen, es ist der schlafende Fuchs. Ich finde den toll - es sieht so gemütlich aus, wie er da eingekuschelt liegt. Und auch die Tatsache, dass er fast rund ist, kann man sicher ausnutzen, auch wenn ich das hier jetzt nicht getan habe.

Hier habe ich eine weiße Kartenbasis verwendet und darauf hellblaues Designpapier mit Holzoptik von Faltkarten aufgeklebt. Darauf kam die Deko.

You surely already know it - it's this sleeping fox. I just love him - it looks so cozy the way  he's laying there. And also the fact that he's nearly round for sure can be used, even if I didn't do that here on this card.

I've used a white card base and put a slightly smaller piece of designer's paper with a very light blue wooden look on top of it.

Für den Himmel habe ich einen blauen Kreis ausgestanzt und daraus dann den Sternenhimmel aus dem Stanzenset Schneekugel. Dann habe ich einen ewas größeren Kreis aus hellgelbem Cardstock dahinter gesetzt. 

Der Boden ist ebenfalls mit einer der Stanzen aus dem Schneekugelset gemacht, diesmal aus schwarzem Cardstock. Und weil der Fuchs sicherlich nicht so mitten im Nirgendwo schlafen würde, habe ich ihm zumindest noch einen Baum an die Seite gegeben.

Vor allem liegt der kleine Fuchs und träumt. Er ist mit Prismacolors und Polychromos coloriert.

For the sky I've die cut a circle out of blue cardstock and then cut the starry sky from it. Behind the circle I've put a slighly smaller one cut from light yellow cardstock.

The ground is cut from black cardstock. And since the little fox surely wouldn't sleep anywhere in nowhere land I've given him a winter tree to his side.

And in front of all the fox is sleeping. He's been colored in with Prismacolors and Polychromos.

Da ich noch recht viel Platz unter dem Motiv hatte, war Platz für einen größeren Text. Also habe ich einen der Texte aus dem Stempelset Glück #3 abgestempelt - und zwar so, dass zwischen "heute ist der" und "Tag um" Platz für die Ü-Punkte war. Vom "glücklich" habe ich nur das lich abgestempelt und dann auf ein weiteres Stück Cardstock das "zu sein". 

Dann habe ich die Glück Inprint Stanze aus dem schwarzen Cardstock, der den Boden bildet, ausgestanzt und die Cardstockstreifen mit den gestempelten Texten darum herum angeordnet. Die Ü-Punkte habe ich einfach auf den oberen Streifen wieder aufgeklebt, da sie davon ja verdeckt werden.

Since there was quite some space underneath the image I had room for a larger saying. So I've stamped a saying that means "today's the day to be happy", replacing the "happy" with a die cut. The "lich" has to be read with the word "Glück", which acutally means happily.

Da steppt der Bär

Heute möchte ich Euch eine Geburtstagskarte zeigen, auf der buchstäblich der Bär steppt. Naja, er läuft eher und ist ganz offensichtlich auf dem Weg zu einer Party.

Today I want to share a birthday card with a bear that seems to be on his way to the party.

Ich mache ja selten Karten, die so viel weiß enthalten - aber hier bot es sich einfach an, denn die vielen kleinen Motive hätte ich schlecht ausschneiden können und zusammengeklebt hätte es wohl auch unsauber ausgesehen. Also habe ich nur ein Rechteck aus weißem Cardstock türkisblau gemattet und dann auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I seldomly make cards with that much white - but here it was my way to go because cutting out all the small images would have been really hard and most likely looked messy. So I've matted a white panel with turquoise color and then glued it onto a white card base.

Direkt auf den weißen Cardstock habe ich die Motive gestempelt - da ist der süße Bär mit dem Herzballon aus dem Joyful Heart Bears Set von MFT, dem ich den Partyhut einer der Mäuse aus dem Set It's a Mice Time to Celebrate aufgesetzt habe. Die herabfallenden Konfetti sind aus dem Year Seven Set von LawnFawn, dazwischen befinden sich ein paar kleine grüne Enamel Accents.

Das Happy und To You aus dem Stempelset All About You  habe ich weiß auf türkisfarbenen Cardstock embosst und ausgeschnitten.

Das Birthday ist ein Teil der Happy Birthday Script Stanze von MFT. Ich habe es aus weißem Glossy-Papier ausgestanzt und dann mit einem grünen Copic-Nachfüller Tropfen darauf verteilt. Einer meiner ersten Alcohol Ink Versuche... Nach dem Trocknen habe ich die beiden türkisfarbenen Teile unter das Birthday geklebt und alles auf der Karte befestigt.

I've stamped the images directly onto the white cardstock. There's the cute bear with the heart shaped balloon from the Joyful Heart Bears stamp set by MFT. I've given him the hat from one of the mice from the It's a Mice Time to Celebrate stamp set. The falling confetti are from the Year Seven stamp set by LawnFawn and there are a few small green Enamel Accents between them.

The Happy and To You from the All About You stamp set were white heat embossed onto turquoise colored cardstock and then cut out.

The birthday is part of the Happy Birthday Script die by MFT. I've cut it from white glossy cardstock and then used a green Copic refill to ink up a few areas. One of my first attempts of using Alcohol Inks... After letting it dry I've glued the two turquoise parts with the text under the birthday and fixed it all on the card.

Beim Stempeleinmaleins zeigen wir Euch heute eine Hinged Die Cut Card  - also eine "ver-scharnierte Stanzteilkarte". Und weil das wirklich doof klingt, haben wir sie "Karte mit aufklappbarem Stanzteil" genannt. Welchen Namen auch immer man dem Kind auch gibt, die Karte an sich ist wirklich toll!

Over at Stempeleinmaleins we are having a tutorial for a Hinged Die Cut Card today. And I really like this one!

Die Karte selbst habe ich recht einfach gehalten - ich habe eine weiße Kartenbasis genommen und darauf schräg gestreiftes grünes Designpapier geklebt.

Unten habe ich ein aus weißem Cardstock gestanztes "Congrats" aufgeklebt, das ich mit Distress Oxide Broken China in Ombre eingefärbt habe.

I've kept the card itself quite simple - I've used a white card base and glued a square of striped green designer's paper onto it.

In the lower part I've added a die cut "congrats", cut from white cardstock and inked in ombre using Distress Oxide Broken China.

Für das Motiv habe ich die neuen Be Hap-Pea Stempel von LawnFawn benutzt. 

In der Erbsenschote habe ich beim Colorieren drei innenliegende Erbsen angedeuted. Rund um das Motiv habe ich mit Distress Oxide Mermaid Lagoon, Broken China und Tumbled Glass gewischt, das birthday ist direkt darauf gestempelt. Das hap-pea habe ich erst auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und es dann mit der dazugehörigen Stanze ausgestanzt und mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt. 

Rundherum habe ich noch ein paar weiße Enamel Accents gesetzt.

For the image I've used the new Be Hap-Pea stamp set by Lawn Fawn.

While coloring the pea pod I've added the hint of three peas being inside. Around the pod I've used Distress Oxide Mermaid Lagoon, Broken China and Tumbled Glass to color the white cardstock in, the birthday was stamped onto the colored background. The hap-pea was stamped onto white cardstock and then cut out using the matching die before glueing it onto the background with dimensionals. 

I've also added a few white Enamel Accents.

Und hier sieht man, woher die Karte ihren Namen hat. Der ausgestanzte Bereich kann mit Hilfe zweier Scharnier aus Folie nach oben geklappt werden. 

Ich habe mich dazu entschlossen, hier ein weiteres Motiv anzubringen und die persönliche Notiz oben in den "Deckel" zu schreiben.

Here you see where the card got its name from. The die cut area is fixed with two hinges from acetate and can be flipped open.

I've decided to add a sedond image and write the personal note onto the "lid".

Bei meinem zweiten Motiv hüpfen die drei Erbsen aus der Schote, eine sogar mit Partyhut bekleidet, und sind bereit für die Party. Auch hier durften Enamel Accents nicht fehlen und ein "Yip-pea, Yip-pea Yeah" hat auch noch Platz gefunden.

For this second image I've picked an open pea pod with the three peas jumping out of it. One's even dressed with a party hat - and they all are ready for the party. Also here I've added a few white Enamel Accents and there was also room for  a "Yip-pea, Yip-pea Yeah".

Heute habe ich eine weitere Karte mit den Neuheiten von Kulricke zu zeigen. Und es wird maritim!

Today I have another card with more new stamps by Kulricke to share. And it's getting maritime today!

Die Karte ist relativ einfach gehalten, aber so wirken die Motive einfach am besten. 

Ich habe ein Stück Designpapier von Faltkarten etwas kleiner als meine Kartenbasis zugeschnitten und aus der oberen Hälfte einen Kreis ausgestanzt. Dann habe ich mir die Lage des Kreises auf meinem Kartenrohling markiert und in diesem Bereich Distress Oxide Salty Ocean so aufgewischt, dass es nach unten hin heller wird.

The card is quite simple but that brings out the images best.

I've cut a piece of designer's paper slightly smaller than my white cardbase and then die cut a circle from the upper half. Then I've marked the position of the circle on my cardbase and added Distress Oxide Salty Ocean here, getting lighter towards the bottom.

Direkt hinter/in den eingefärbten Kreis habe ich dann die süßen Felixe in ihrem Papierschiff aufgeklebt. Davor und dahinter sind Wellenbordüren aufgeklebt. Und auch der süße neue Delphin darf hier mitschwimmen. 

Am Himmel sind noch ein paar Wolken - aus dem Stanzenset Wolken und aus dem Stanzenset Schneekugel - aufgeklebt. 

Das Designpapier habe ich dann mit 3D Tape auf die Kartenbasis aufgeklebt und ins Fenster hineinlappend eine weitere Wolke aufgeklebt.

Directly onto the inked in ared I've glued those cute Felix in their paper boat. There are some wave borders behind and in front of the image. And this cute new delphin is swimming with them for a while.

There are a few clouds floating in the sky.

The designer's paper was glued to the cardbase with dimensionals and I've added another cloud to the designer's paper, overlapping with the background behind the die cut circle.

Natürlich darf hier ein Text nicht fehlen - und auch der ist neu. Ich habe nur das Meer blau hinterlegt, die obere Zeile des Textes ist nicht gemattet. Rundherum habe ich noch ein paar weiße Enamel Accents geklebt.

Of course the card needed a text - it means "the best roads lead to the sea". I've only matted the strip with the stamped on "sea", the other part isn't matted. In the end I've also added a few white Enamel Accents.

Letzte Woche kamen ja die Neuheiten von MFT heraus. Schon während der Vorschau war ich begeistert von der Interactive Swing Stanze, war mir aber nicht sicher, ob ich so viele Karten mit Schaukeln machen würde. Aber dann fielen mir doch noch andere Möglichkeiten ein - und eine davon habe ich für die FB-Gruppe von Stamping-Fairies gemacht.

A week ago the newest stamps and dies by MFT were launched. During their previews I was hooked with the Interactive Swing die but wasn't sure if I'd make many cards with a swing. But then I got other ideas and one of them I'm showing in Stamping-Fairies' FB group today.

Für meine Karte habe ich blauen Cardstock als Hintergrund verwendet, auf den ich Sonnenstrahlen mit der  neuen Ray of Light Schablone und Distress Oxide Fossilized Amber aufgewischt habe. Unten habe ich einen Streifen hellgrünen Cardstock aufgeklebt, dessen Rand ich mit einer der Grassy Hills Stanzen gestanzt habe. Auf den Streifen habe ich ein Banner aus weißem Cardstock aufgeklebt, auf den ich einen der Texte aus dem Up in the Air Stempelset aufgestempelt habe.

An den oberen Rand der Karte habe ich die Wolken oder Blätter geklebt, die mit der Interactive Swing Stanze kommen. Darunter versteckt sich der Mechanismus, der das Motiv schaukeln lässt.

For my card I've used some blue cardstock for the background and added some sun beams using the Ray of Light stencil and Distress Oxide Fossilized Amberg.
Onto the bottom edge I've glued a strip of light green cardstock, the top edge was cut using one of the Grassy Hills dies. Onto the grass strip I've glued a banner cut from white cardstock onto which I've stamped one of the sayings from the Up in the Air stamp set.
Onto the top of the card I've added some clouds using the die that comes with the Interactive Swing dies. The mechanism that makes the image swing is hidden under those clouds.

Und hier nun meine Idee zur Stanze: Ich habe oben einen Heißluftballon mit Katze auf die Wolken aufgeklebt und den oberen Rand ein wenig unter eine der Wolkenlinien geschoben. Den Schaukelmechanismus habe ich aus Klarsichtfolie geschnitten, so sieht man ihn kaum. Unten am Mechanismus hängt einer der Hippos aus dem Stempelset Happy Hippos. Die Schnüre um den Bauch habe ich per Hand dazugemalt und auch auf den Folienstreifen des Mechanismus habe ich mit schwarzem Copic eine Linie gemalt, um es so aussehen zu lassen, als hänge der Hippo vom Heißluftballon herab.
Und weil die Karte so etwas nackig gewesen wäre, habe ich als zusätzliche Deko noch zwei Bäume, ein Haus sowie zwei Vögelchen auf die Karte geklebt.

And here's the idea I came up with: I've glued a hot air balloon with a cat in it onto the clouds, putting the top edge of the balloon under one of the clouds. The swing mechanism is cut from Acetate so you can barely see it. To the bottom end of the mechanism I've glued one of the hippos from the Happy Hippos stamp set. The strings around his belly are hand drewn and I've also added a black line onto the Acetate using a Copic marker. Now it looks like the Hippo is dangling down from the hot air balloon.
And since the card would have been kind of naked just left like this I've also added two trees, a house and two birds.

Und damit Ihr den Hippo auch schaukeln sehen könnt, habe ich ein Video für Euch gemacht. Ich habe die Karte bewusst nur soweit gekippt, dass der Mechanismus nicht über den Korb des Ballons hinausschwingen kann. Allerdings ist mit der rechten Hand die Kamera ruhig halten und gleichzeitig mit der linken Hand die Karte zu schwenken nicht ganz einfach, darum ist das ganze etwas wackelig:

And to make you able to see the Hippo swinging I've made a video vor you. I've turned the card only that much that the mechanism/strip of Acetate doesn't go any further than the edges of the basket under the hot air balloon. But holding the camera still with my right hand and at the same time turning the card with my left hand isn't that easy so it's a tad bit jittery:
