Mai-Challenge bei Stampcorner

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Heute startet die Mai-Challenge bei Stampcorner. Und dieses mal möchten wir mit Euch eine Runde Bingo spielen. Das habe ich ewig nicht mehr gemacht. Und geht es Euch auch so - irgendwie stehen zwar jede Menge passende Dinge drauf, aber drei in einer Reihe zu kombinieren ist für mich immer eine Herausforderung. Irgendwie ist für mich die Aufteilung immer verkehrt. Aber hey, genau das soll eine Challenge doch machen, uns auch mal ein wenig herausfordern! Und so habe ich mich für eine diagonale Reihe von links unten nach rechts oben entschieden, in diesem Fall "Wasserfarben - neu - Schleifenband".

Today starts this month's challenge over at Stampcorner. And we'd like to play a round of Bingo with you. I haven't done one in ages. Are you with me - the're always a lot of things you use quite often listed on the Bingo sheet, but combining three in a row is always a challenge. The items/themes are never in the order you'd need them. But hey, that's what a challenge is all about! And so I've decided to go with the diagonal row from bottom left to top right - in this case "water colors - new - ribbon". 

Rollen wir das Pferd mal von hinten auf. Ich wusste lange nicht, wie ich das Schleifenband integrieren sollte. Einfach über die Karte gespannt und zur Schleife gebunden, das wollte ich nicht. Da aber Motiv etc schon standen, kam mir die Idee, einen senkrechten Regenbogen aus Satinband auf weißen Cardstock zu kleben und damit den Hintergrund der Karte zu gestalten. Gesagt, getan. Lilafarbenes Band hatte ich nicht, also habe ich einfach weißes mit Copics eingefärbt. 

Let's start at the end of the list for today. It took me some thinking on how to include the ribbon. I didn't want to just glue it across the card and tie it to a bow. But since I already had my images colored I got the idea of creating a vertical rainbow onto some white cardstock and use this as the background for my image. And that's what I did. I didn't have any purple ribbon so I've simply used a purple Copic marker to color some white ribbon.

Neu ist hier das Stempelset Caticorn von MFT. Ich weiß, es ist bereits aus dem März-Release. Aber ich hatte es mir erst später gekauft und hier auf dieser Karte eingeweiht. Für mich zählt das als neu. Die Motive sind mit Copics coloriert, ausgeschnitten und mit 3D Tape aufeinander geklebt. 

Mit Wasserfarben habe ich den Hintergrund hinter dem Motiv gestaltet. Ich habe so tolle Glitzer-Wasserfarben und habe hier schwarz und lila verwendet. Das Schwarz habe ich bewusst heller aufgetragen, damit es nicht zu krass wirkt. Das Aquarellpapier habe ich dann mit einer Kreisstanze ausgestanzt, schwarz hinterlegt und die Motive aufgeklebt. Ein paar Glitzersteine haben auch noch Platz gefunden.

Natürlich durfte ein Text nicht fehlen. Hier habe ich einen aus dem Stempelset Regenbogen von Stampcorner verwendet. Er ist einfach schwarz auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt, schwarz gemattet und unten rechts auf die Karte geklebt.

New is represented by the Caticorn stamp set by MFT. I know, it's from their march release. But I only bought it recently and used it here for the first time. So that counts as new to me. 

The images are colored with Copics, cut out and glued on top of each other with dimensionals. 

Watercolors were used for the background behind the image. I have some glittery watercolors and combined black and purple here. I've used a lot of water with the black to not end up with a too dark background. Then I've used a circle die to cut a circle from the watercolor paper, matted it black and glued the images on top of it. There was also room for a few clear rhinestones.

Of course the card needed a saying. This one means "it's going to be a good day". It's stamped with black ink onto white cardstock, matted black and then glued to the bottom right corner of the card.

Als ich vor kurzem durch meine Stempelsets gegangen bin, habe ich festgestellt, dass ich die geniale Krabbe noch gar nicht benutzt hatte! Na, das wolle aber sofort nachgeholt werden. Und so ziert sie nun diese Karte, die ich heute auf dem Stampcorner-Blog zeige. Da inzwischen Mai ist und nun auch bei mir als "bayrisches Mädel" das Meer langsam wieder Thema wird, ging das.

When going through my stamps a little ago I've realized that I hadn't used this amazing crab yet! Well, that needed to be changed. And so it's star of this card that I'm sharing over at the Stampcorner Blog today. Since it's May now the sea is also my "bavarian girl's" mind again and so using maritim images is in season again.

Ja, hier waren wieder Alcohol Inks im Spiel... Ich komme immer mehr auf den Geschmack - und nein, das meine ich natürlich nicht wörtlich! 

Als Basis habe ich einen weißen Kartenrohling verwendet, darauf ein etwas kleineres Stück schwarzen Cardstock und obenauf ein nochmal kleineres Stück aus ganz hell aqua farbenem Cardstock geklebt. Darauf kam dann die Deko.

Yes, I've used Alcohol Inks here again... I am really getting a taste for them - and no, of course I don't mean that literally!

I've used a white note card here as the base, then glued a slightly smaller of black and on that an again slightly smaller piece of light aqua cardstock onto it. Onto that I've put the decorations.

Für den Alcohol Ink Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück Yupo mit Blending Solution beträufelt und darauf nur auf die linke Kante Alcohol Ink Laguna aufgetropft. Mit dem Air Blower von Tim Holtz habe ich die Farbe dann nach rechts verblasen. Ich hatte ja so einiges getestet - ein Spritzing Tool, Strohhalm, Heißluftfön. Aber ich muss sagen, dieser Air Blower macht den besten Job!

Die oberen Kante des Yupo habe ich dann mit der Wellenstanze aus dem Wiper Card  Components Stanzenset von MFT zugeschnitten. Auf der linken Seite habe ich mit der Snowflake Horizontal Schablone von MFT und Embossing Paste noch ein paar Blubberblasen aufgetragen.

Darauf kam eine etwas schmälere Lage Vellum, ebenfalls mit der Stanze wellenförmig zugeschnitten. 

Der geniale Krebs und auch der Luftballon sind mit Copics coloriert. Ich habe RV69, RV29, R14, R02 und R00 benutzt. 

Den Krebs habe ich dann auf einen aus Yupo gestanzten Kreis geklebt. Auch den habe ich mit Blending Solution und Alcohol Ink Laguna eingefärbt und hier noch etwas von dem Sterling Alloy mit aufgetragen. Somit glitzert es schön silbern. Diesen Kreis habe ich mit grauem Cardstock gemattet. 

Links nebem dem Krebs durften ein paar Unterwasser-Accessoires nicht fehlen. Ich habe hier die Muschel aus dem selben Set Watt 'n Wurm, aus dem auch der Krebs ist, verwendet. Dazu kamen ein paar aus weißem Cardstock gestanzte und ebenfalls mit Copics colorierte Pflanzen und Steine. 

Für die Muschel habe ich die Farbtöne BG49, BG23 und G00 benutzt. Die große Pflanze ist mit G29, BG49, YG45 und YG41 coloriert, die Koralle mit R24, R12, YR02 und YR01. Zum Schluss kamen noch zwei Steine dazu, die mit T5, T2 und T0 coloriert sind. 

Für die Highlights auf allen Motiven habe ich einen weißen Gelmarker benutzt. 

Dann habe ich alles aufeinander geklebt. Der Ballon ist mit einem Stück Schnur versehen, dessen anderes Ende ich um die Schere des Krebses gewickelt habe. Außerdem habe ich über dem Krebs noch ein paar weitere Blubberblasen, wie oben beschrieben, angebracht.

Die Texte, ebenso wie der Luftballon aus dem Stempelset Partytiere, sind mit weißem Embossingpulver auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst und auf der Karte verteilt aufgeklebt.

Zum Schluss kamen noch ein paar türkisfarbene Enamel Accents auf die Karte.

For the Alcohol Ink background I've put some drops of Blending Solution onto a piece of Yupo and then added a few drops of the Laguna Alcohol Ink only to the left side of this piece. With the Air Blower by Tim Holtz I've moved the color to the right. I've tried several tools to move the ink - a spritzing tool, a paper straw, a heat embossing tool but I have to say, that Air Blower does the job best!

The top edge of the Yupo was die cut into a wave shape using the wave die from the Wiper Card Components die set by MFT. On the left side I've added a few bubbles using the Snowflake Horizontal stencil by MFT and some Embossing Paste. 

On top of that I've put a slighly shorter (in height) layer of Vellum, again I've cut the top edge with the wave die.

The cute crab and also the balloon are colored with Copics. I've used RV69, RV29, R14, R02 and R00 here. 

The crab is glued onto a circle, die cut from Yupo again. Also this is colored with Blending Solution and the Laguna Alcohol Ink but here I've also added a bit of the Sterling Alloy. That adds a nice shine to it. I've matted the circle with some grey cardstock.

On the left of the crab I wanted to add some under water accessoires. I've added a sea shell, that comes in the same stamp set as the crab, and a few plants and stones that were cut from white cardstock and colored with Copics, 

For the shell I've used BG49, BG23 and G00. The big plant is colored with G29, BG49, YG45 and YG41, the coral was done with R24, R12, YR02 and YR01. In the end I've added two stones, colored with T5, T2 and T0. 

For the highlights on all the pieces I've used a white gelly marker.

Then I've glued everything in place. To the back of the balloon I've put a piece of twine, the other end of it is wrapped around the crab's scissors. I've also added a few more bubbles over the crab, like described earlier.

 The sayings (birthday, party and hip hip hooray) are white heat embossed onto black cardstock and glued onto different areas on this card. In the end I've added a few turquoise Enamel Accents to finish the card off.

Zwei auf einen Streich

In den letzten Wochen sind so viele Karten entstanden, ich komme mit dem Posten nicht hinterher. Deswegen zeige ich Euch heute gleich zwei Werke, die ein wenig mit Corona zusammenhängen.

I've made that many cards during the past weeks that I don't have time to post them all individually. So today I am sharing two cards that both somehow relate to Corona.

Die erste Karte ist, unschwer zu erkennen, eine Dankekarte für ein Krankenhaus. 

Ich habe im Hintergrund den Virus-Stempel verwendet und ihn hellgrau auf einen Streifen weißen Cardstock gestempelt. Den Streifen habe ich dann mit rot-weiß gestreiftem Designpapier gemattet. 

Dann habe ich ihn auf ein Stück weißen Cardstock geklebt. Da nur weiß als Hintergrund zu fad aussah, habe ich von der unteren linke Ecke aus gelbe Aquarellfarbe aufgetragen. Auf die rechte Seite habe ich ein paar einzelne Viren aufgestempelt.

The first card is - hardly not to notice - a thank you card that went to a hospital. 

I've stamped a virus background onto a strip of white cardstock using light grey ink, then matted the strip with red and white striped designer's paper. I've glued the strip onto white carstock, and since that looked  a bit plain I've added some yellow watercolor to the bottom left corner of the card and a few individual viruses to the right - of course before glueing the strip down.

Hauptelement ist natürlich die Krankenschwester! Die habe ich mit Copics coloriert, die blonden Haare passen zur gelben Aquarellfarbe. 

Das Danke ist mit den ABC Groß Stanzen aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt, das Und-Zeichen ist aus dem ABC 1 Stanzenset. Ich habe die Buchstaben mit weißen Highlights versehen und auf die Karte geklebt. Um den Text fortzuführen, habe ich einen Text, der mit der Krankenschwester im Set kommt, weiß auf ein Banner aus rotem Cardstock embosst und unter das Danke geklebt.

Of course the nurse is the main element on this card. I've colored her with Copics, making the blonde hair go with the yellow watercolor paint.

The big die cut word means thanks, cut from red cardstock. I've also die cut a smaller ampersand and added some white highlights to those die cuts. To finish the saying I've white heat embossed a "stay healthy" onto a banner of red cardstock and glued it underneath the thanks.

Und durch die Texte, die mit dem Motiv geliefert werden, passt auch diese Karte zum Corona-Thema. 

Hier habe ich Streifen in Regenbogenbogenfarben hochkant auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt und darüber dann ein etwas kleineres Rechteck aus Vellum geklebt. Den Kleber habe ich hier nur unter den Motiven aufgetragen, so ist er unsichtbar.

And due to the sayings here also this card goes with the Corona theme.

Here I've glued some strips of paper in rainbow colors onto a white note card. Then I've glued a slightly smaller rectangle cut from Vellum on top of this rainbow. I've applied the glue only underneath the images so it is invisible.

Auch das geniale Chamäleon ist in Regenbogenverlauf coloriert. Es ist so schön gechillt, genau richtig in so manch stressiger Situation. Ich habe das Motiv so coloriert, dass es aus einem Rechteck aus weißem Cardstock herauszuhängen scheint. Im Hintergrund habe ich ein paar Blätter aufgemalt, dafür habe ich Blätter einer Stencil von Create a Smile vorsichtig mit Bleistift übertragen und dann ohne Stempellinien coloriert. Den Rest des weißen Cardstocks habe ich blau-grau coloriert. 

Die Texte sind weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst und einmal von links, einmal von rechts quer auf die Karte geklebt.

Also this great chameleon is colord in rainbow colors. It looks so amazingly chalm, exactly how you should react in stressy situations. I've colored the image in a way to make it look like hanging from a rectangle of white cardstock. In the background I've added a few leaves. Those were traced using a stencil by Create a Smile, then colored without outlines. The rest of the white cardstock is colored in a greyish blue.

The sayings mean "think positive" and "stay healthy". They are white heat embossed onto some black cardstock and then glued across the card, one coming in from the left, the other one from the right.

Schon wieder Töchter-Geburtstag?!?!

Auch wenn es uns allen die letzten Wochen bestimmt anders vorkam - die Zeit rennt. Oder wie sonst ist es zu erklären, dass meine Zwillinge, deren 18. Geburtstags wir gefühlt doch gerade erst gefeiert haben, jetzt schon 19 sind?!?! Die diesjährigen Geburtstagskarten zeige ich heute auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog.

Even if it might have feeled differently - time flies. It's the only explanation I have for the fact that my twins, who's 18th birthday we just celebrated recently (at least it feels like that), just turned 19 end of april?!?! This year's birthday cards I'm sharing over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog today.

Wie immer, gab es eine rote - bzw dieses Jahr rosafarbene - Version für Natascha und eine blaue - oder türkise - für Pia. Diese Farbaufteilung gilt seit ihrer Geburt. 

As always I've made a red - or pink this year - version for Natascha and a blue - or turquoise - one for Pia. We have this color thing going on since their birth.

Für die Karte habe ich im Hintergrund die Cloud Stencil von MFT und hier Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry und Spun Sugar verwendet um einen Wolkenhintergrund zu gestalten. 

Mit der Wish-Stanze habe ich aus schwarzem Cardstock das Wort ausgestanzt. Die Kerze ist hier eigentlich kleiner - ich hatte aber einen besonderen Plan. Also habe ich sie durch eine aus dem Stanzenset Birthday Candle ersetzt. Die Flamme ist ebenfalls aus diesem Set. Eigentlich sind es mehrere zusammenhängende. Also habe ich die Partial Die Cutting Technik angewendet, um nur eine Flamme aus dem Hintergrund auszustanzen. 

Der süße Drache ist aus dem Magical Dragons Set. Das ist schon recht alt, aber ich finde es immer noch toll! Coloriert habe ich wie fast immer mit Copics.

Das Make a ist aus dem Stempelset Little Birthday Notes und mit weißem Embossingpulver auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Der andere Text ist ebenfalls embosst und eine Kombination aus zwei Stempeln aus dem Set Bitty Birthday Wishes. Ich wollte unbedingt einen Text, der über die ganze Breite der Karte geht.

Dann habe ich alles auf die Karte geklebt.

For the card I've created a background with the Cloud Stencil by MFT and on this card Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry and Spun Sugar. 

Using the Wish die I've die cut the word from black cardstock. The candle is smaller with this die - but I had a plan so I've replaced it with one of the candles from the Birthday Candle die set. The flame is also from this set. These are several in a row so I've done some partial die cutting to only cut one of them out of the background.

The cute dragon is from the Magical Dragons stamp set. It's a quite old set but I still love it! Coloring was done with Copics, like most times.

The Make a is from the Little Birthday Notes stamp set and white heat embossed onto black cardstock. The other text is also heat embossed and a combination of two stamps from the Bitty Birthday Wishes stamp set. I really wanted a text that goes all across the card. 

Then I've glued everything onto the card.

Ihr habt sicher schon den Pull-Tab auf der linken Seite gesehen. Zieht man daran, fängt der Drache - ganz zart - an, Feuer zu spucken. 

For sure you've already spotted the pull tab on the left of the card. When you pull it the dragen - carefully - breathes fire.

Und somit zündet er die Kerze an. 

Hier habe ich eine LED-Karte und eine Slider-Card kombiniert. 

Für den Slider habe ich neben der Kerze und hinter dem Drachen die Wolkenlinie mit dem Cutter nachgeschnitten, ein Stück Folie durchgesteckt und daran die Flamme befestigt. Das andere Ende der Folie ist am Pull-Tab angebracht. Der schließt auch den Stromkreis, damit das LED-Licht brennen kann.

Für die Flamme habe ich einen kleinen Teil des Kaminfeuers aus dem Cozy Companions Stempelset benutzt. Das Pull ist aus dem Stempelset Interactive Labels.

And this way he lights up the candle.

Here I've combined a LED card and a slider card.

For the slider I've used a cutter to hand cut the cloud line next to the flame and behind the dragon's head, put a piece of acetate through the slit and attached the flame to it. The other end of the acetate is glued to the pull tab.  This is also used to close the circuit to make the LED light up.

For the flame I've used a part of the fire from the fire place from the Cozy Companions stamp set. The pull is from the Interactive Labels stamp set.

Und hier ist die blaue Variante, die sollt Ihr natürlich auch in ganzer Pracht bewundern können.

Sie ist genauso wie die Pinke gearbeitet, für den Hintergrund habe ich Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers und Tumbled Glass verwendet.

Als Deko am Himmel habe ich - natürlich auf beiden Karten - noch ein paar klare Glitzersteine aufgeklebt.

And this is the blue version - of course I want you to see it fully as well. 

It's made identically to the pink one, for the background I've used Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers and Tumbled Glass.

For decorations I've added a few clear rhinestones to the sky - of course on both cards.

Und hier habe ich noch ein Bild bei Dunkelheit für Euch. Normalerweise umklebe ich das Teil, das leuchten soll, immer mit ein wenig Abstand mit 3D Tape, so dass auch nur dieses Teil leuchtet. Aber diesmal sollte die Flamme auch Licht abstrahlen.

And here I have taken a picture in my dark room. Usually I use dimensionals with a small distance around the area that I want to be lit up - and only this part. But here I wanted the light to radiate.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 9. Mai 2020

Heute gibt es wieder eine neue Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins - mit einer Anleitung für eine Reagenzglas-Karte.

Today we have a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins - and today's tutorial is about this card with a test tube included in it. 

Die Karte an sich habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gearbeitet. 

Das Reagenzglas habe ich erst mit silbernen Sternchen, dann mit einem Geldschein gefüllt. Oben habe ich mit dünnem blauem Satinband  einen Sternen-Charm angebunden. Da ich nur leuchtend blaues Satinband hatte, habe ich es mit dem B99 Copic einfach farblich passend zum Himmel eingefärbt.

Des Cardstockstück, das das Reagenzglas hält, habe ich passend zur Mattung mit silbernem Glittercardstock beklebt.

I've made my card from white cardstock.

The test tube is filled with silver star confetti and some money. To its top I've tied a star charm using thin satin ribbon. I didn't have the right tone of blue ribbon so I've simply used my B99 Copic to make the color match the sky.

Matching the matting on the front I've added some silver glitter cardstock to the cardstock piece that holds the text tube in place.

Das ist die Deko auf der Vorderseite.

Ich habe den Himmel mit Distress Oxide Faded Jeans und Black Soot gewischt, zuvor habe ich die Sterne mit klarem Embossinpulver aufembosst. So bleiben sie beim Wischen weiß.

Der Hügel ist mit einer der Stitched Hills - das Negativ ohne Stichlinie verwendet - von MFT aus grünem Cardstock gemacht und von unten her ebenfalls ein wenig mit Black Soot eingefärbt. 

Die süße Maus sowie das Teleskop und die Sterne sind aus dem Super Star Stempelset von LawnFawn. Endlich kam es zum Einsatz!

Auf die Sterne habe ich eine der klar-glitzernden Stickles aufgetragen, auf die Sternschnuppe zusätzlich vorher silberne Stickles. 

Auf ein kleines weißes Banner habe ich ein "make a" aufgestempelt und an das w eines ausgestanzten "wish" geklebt. Das ist mit einer der Shadow Script #2 Stanzen von Sizzix aus silbernem Glittercardstock gestanzt. Mit dem ist die komplette Szene auch gemattet.

Als Deko habe ich auf den Hügel noch ein paar klar-glitzernde Nuvo Drops aufgeklebt.

This is the front decoration.

I've created the sky with Distress Oxide Faded Jeans and Black Soot. Before I've clear heat embossed the stars onto the white cardstock so they stay white after creating the sky.

The hill is made with one of the Stitched Hills dies by MFT - using the non-stitched negative here. It's cut from green cardstock and from the bottom I've applied a bit of Black Soot again. 

The cute mouse, the telescope and the stars are from the Super Star stamp set by LawnFawn. I've finally used it!

The stars are covered with one of the clear glittery Stickles, to the shooting star I've also applied some silver Stickles. 

Onto a small white banner I've stamped a "make a" and glued it to the w of a die cut "wish". It's die cut from silver glitter cardstock using one of the dies from the Shadow Script #2 dies by Sizzix. I've also used the same glitter cardstock to mat the front panel.

For decorations I've added some clear glittering Nuvo Drops to the hill.

Hier habe ich auch die Innenseite der Karte dekoriert - und es kam ein weiteres Stempelset aus dem Frühjahrs-Release von LawnFawn zum Einsatz. Ich hatte mir da so einige gegönnt und war dann überfordert, womit anfangen. So langsam aber komme ich dazu.

Der Text ist aus dem Upon a Star Stempelset. Eigentlich hatte ich nur den Text hier abgestempelt und ein paar kleine Punkte mit silbernen Stickles als Sterne hinzugefügt. Aber dann kam mir die Idee, hier auch noch zwei der süßen Maus-Motive aus dem Dandy Day Stempelset zu verwenden. Also habe ich die Motive abgestempelt, mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Das Ausschneiden der Pusteblume war ganz schön frickelig, aber ich wollte so wenig weißen Cardstock darumherum wie möglich. 

Diese innere Lage habe ich mit schwarzem Cardstock gemattet.

Here I've also decorated the inside - and I've used another one of the spring release by LawnFawn here. I had ordered quite a few sets from this release and then was completly overwhelmed, not knowing what to use first. But now I finally get into it.

The saying is from the Upon a Star stamp set. First I had only planned to add the saying here and put some small dots of silver Stickles around it. But then I've decided it would also be nice to use two more mice, this time from the Dandy Day stamp set. So I've stamped them, colored them with Copics and then cut them out. It was quite a bit time comsuming cutting around all those tiny parts of the blowball but I wanted to show as little of the white cardstock as possible.

I've matted this inner layer of cardstock black.

Auf und davon

Auf und davon - das würde ich momentan gerne, einfach mal einen Umgebungswechsel. Da das aber nicht geht, habe ich dem Bär auf meiner Karte, die ich heute auf dem Stampcorner-Blog zeige, die Möglichkeit dazu gegeben.

Up and away - that's what this post is titled and also what I'd love to do now. Just go some place else, see something different. But it's not impossible so I've at least give the bear on this card, that I'm sharing over at the Stampcorner Blog today, the chance to. 

Für den Hintergrund habe ich mit zwei der neuen Alcohol Ink Farben von Ranger gearbeitet - Cobalt und Vineyard - und sie mit dem ebenfalls neuen Sterling Alloy kombiniert. 

Ein Stück Vellum in der Mitte der Karte tönt den Hintergrund ein wenig ab, damit man das Motiv besser sehen kann. Hinter und auf dem Vellum habe ich einige der Cute Clouds von MFT aufgeklebt. Die habe ich aus matt silbernem Spiegelkarton und weißem Cardstock gestanzt und die schmalen Außenlinien des silbernen Cardstocks mit den weißen Innenteilen kombiniert. Außerdem habe ich einmal nur die weißen Außenlinien verwendet. 

Der Text ist mit weißem Embossingpulver auf einen Streifen schwarzen Cardstock embosst und quer über das Vellum aufgeklebt. Dabei habe ich den Text nach links verschoben, so dass rechts das Motiv überlappen konnte und auch ein Herz aus lilafarbenem Glitzercardstock.

Oben links habe ich noch einen Mini-Regenbogen aus nur drei Farben, silber, lila und blau, gestanzt aus Glitzercardstock, aufgeklebt. Der Glitzercardstock passte so toll zu dem silbernen Alloy. 

For the background I've used two of the new Alcohol Ink colors by Ranger  - Cobalt and Vineyard - and also combined it with the new Sterling Alloy.

A piece of Vellum is used to tone the background down in a part of the background to make more contrast to the image. Behind and on top of the Vellum I've added a few of the Cute Clouds by MFT. I've die cut those from matt silver mirror cardstock and white cardstock and combined the silver outlines with the white inner parts. And once I've only used the white outlines.

The saying is white heat embossed onto a strip of black cardstock and glued across the Vellum. I've positioned the saying a bit more to the left of the strip to have room on the right to overlap the image a bit and for a little heart cut from purple glitter cardstock.

To the top left I've also added a mini rainbow with only three arches - I've used silver, purple and blue - cut from glitter cardstock. The glitter cardstock went so great with the silver Alloy.

Für das Motiv habe ich das süße Really High Five Stempelset von LawnFawn verwendet. Es ist aus dem Februar-Release. Ich hatte mir da einige Sets gekauft und ich bin ehrlich, dieses hier war erst nicht darunter. Aber dann fand ich es doch echt süß und habe es nachgeordert. Und was soll ich sagen - bis jetzt habe ich das am häufigsten verwendet. Auch der Text ist übrigens aus diesem Set.

Ich habe die Motive mit Copics coloriert. An die Ballons habe ich jeweils ein Stück weißes Twine geklebt und zum Arm des Bären hinuntergezogen. 

Als Deko kamen dann noch ein paar klare Glitzersteine auf das Vellum.

For the image I've used the Really High Five stamp set by LawnFawn. It's from their february release. I'd ordered quite a few sets and - I want to be honest - this wasn't amongst them. But then I thought it's cute and ordered it. And what should I say - it's the one I've used the most so far. Also the saying is from this set, by the way.

I've colored the images with Copics. To the back of each balloon I've glued a piece of white twine and glued the other end to the bear's hand.

For decorations I've also added a few clear rhinestones to the Vellum.

Irgendwie ruft für mich mein heutiges Projekt ganz laut Frühling. Ich glaube, es liegt am süßen Marienkäfer, der hier als Glückspost daherkommt.

Today's project is screaming spring to me. I guess it's because of the ladybug that's was in today's mail.

Hier habe ich die Mailbox Stanze von JM Creation verwendet um den Briefkasten zu werkeln. Den habe ich dann auf ein Stück Papier-Strohhalm geklebt und dann auf einen Kreis aus weißem Cardstock. Den hätte ich mal lieber gleich aus grünem Cardstock geschnitten, so musste ich ihn mit grünem Samtpuder überziehen. Sieht dafür echtem Gras ähnlicher.

Auf dem Briefkasten habe ich das Wort Glückspost angebracht. Es kommt zusammen mit dem süßen Mädchen. Ich habe ihn rot auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt, rot gemattet und auf den Briefkasten geklebt. Darüber kam noch das noch oben gerichtete Fähnchen, damit man auch weiß, dass Post da ist!

Das süße Mädchen ist mit Copics coloriert, ausgeschnitten und ebenfalls auf den Kreis aufgeklebt. 

Here I've used the mailbox die by JM Creation to create the mailbox. Then I've glued it onto one end of a piece of a paper straw and glued the other end onto a circle cut from white cardstock. Well, it would have been better to use green cardstock here. So I had to cover the white one with green velvet flock. The good thing about it that it looks more like real grass.

There's a sing saying "happy mail" glued to the mailbox and of course the flag needed to go up so everyone knows there's mail.

The cute girl with the ladybug is colored with Copics, cut out and also glued onto the circle.

Um die Mailbox verschließen aber auch öffnen zu können, habe ich an den beiden Klebelaschen vorne einen Streifen Cardstock aufgeklebt. Der verhindert auch gleichzeitig, dass der Inhalt herausrollt. An dessen Rückseite habe ich einen Magneten befestigt, das Gegenstück befindet sich auf der Front der Klappe. Dort habe ich auch noch einen schmalen Streifen roten Cardstocks geknickt aufgeklebt, der das Öffnen erleichtert.

To close the mailbox but also be able to open it I've added a strip of cardstock to the two flaps at the front. It also avoids the filling to roll out. To the back of this strip I've glued a small magnet, the other one is glued to the front of the flap. I've also added a really thin strip of cardstock, folded, which makes opening the mailbox easier.

Und hier noch der geschlossene Briefkasten. Der zweite Magnet versteckt sich unter dem Herz.

Heute zeige ich auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog - schon wieder - eine interaktive Karte. Um das Stempelset Love Letters von LawnFawn bin ich schon so einige Zeit rumgeschlichen. Nun habe ich es mir dann doch gegönnt. Und gleich hier eingeweiht.

Over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog I am sharing another interactive card today. I've been eyeing with the Love Letters stamp set by LawnFawn for quite a while and then went ahead and ordered it. And after it arrived I immediately used it to make this card.

Hinter - oder besser in - der Kartenfront versteckt sich ein Double Slider Mechanismus, dazu später mehr. Aber er ermöglich es, sowohl auf der Außen- als auch auf der Innenseite ein interaktives Element einzubauen, die zusammen die Geschichte der Karte erzählen.

Hier ist die Außenseite der Karte. Ich habe ein Stück weißen Cardstock mit Distress Ink Weathered Wood eingefärbt. Dann habe ich mit Archival Ink Hickory Smoke den Wood Plank Background von MFT aufgestempelt. Aus dem fertigen Hintergrund habe ich dann mit den Stitched Rectangles drei Rechtecke als Türkassetten ausgestanzt, mit grauem Cardstock hinterlegt und wieder an Ort und Stelle geklebt. In der Mitte habe ich Platz gelassen, um mit der Mail Delivery Stanze von MFT den Briefkastenschlitz aufzukleben. Der Briefkasten ist aus goldenem Spiegelcardstock gestanzt, die einzelnen Buchstaben daraufgeklebt. Vor dem Aufkleben habe ich etwa in der Größe der Klappe aus der Tür auch ein Rechteck ausgeschnitten. 

Die Tür ist mit einem Kranz, gemacht mit Stanzen aus dem Fab Foliage Stanzenset, dekoriert.

Vor dem Briefkasten steht eines der Küken aus dem Love Letters Stempelset und wirft gerade einen Brief ein. Man sieht an der Sprechblase, dass der Brief mit Liebe geschrieben wurde.

Behind - or inside - the card front I've hidden a double slider mechanism, I will talk about that a little later. But this makes it possible to add an interactive element to both the inside and the outside of the card, telling a story here.

This is the outside of the card. I've inked up a piece of white cardstock with Distress Ink Weathered Wood. Then I've stamped the Wood Plank Background by MFT onto it with Archival Ink Hickory Smoke. From the finished background I've die cut three stitched rectangles as decorative elements for the door, matted them with grey cardstock and glued them back into place. I've left room for the Mail Delivery die by MFT between the rectangles. The mail box is die cut from golden mirror cardstock, the letters on it are glued on top individually. Before glueing the mail box down I've cut a rectangle from the door, about the size of the flap of the mail box.

The door is decorated with a wreath, made with the Fab Foliage die set.

There's a chick next to the mail box, inserting a letter. From the speech bubble you can see that the letter was written with love.

Das ist die linke Innenseite der Karte. Sie ist fast identisch gewerkelt. Auf den Briefkasten habe ich diesmal keine Buchstaben aufgeklebt und habe das zweite Küken aus dem Set verwendet, auch das mit Sprechblase versehen. Könnte man hier als "oh wie lieb" ansehen.

Aus dem Schlitz kommt der Brief, den das Küken auf der Vorderseite soeben eingeworfen hat. Hier habe ich einen anderen Brief, gesehen von der Rückseite, verwendet und das Herz rot coloriert.

Die obere Hälfte der Tür ist hier mit einem weiß auf grauen Cardstock embossten Streifen Cardstock sowie einem ausgestanzten Hello aus dem Hello and Thanks Stanzenset dekoriert. 

This is the inner left side of the card. It's done nearly identically as the front. I didn't add the letters to the mailbox here and used a different chick from the stamp set. Also here I've added a speech bubble, meaning someting like "that's so nice of you" here.

The letter that the chick just put into the mailbox on the front is coming out of it here on the inside. I've also used a different letter here, beend drawn from the back. I've colored the heart with red Copics. 

The upper part of the door is decorated with a strip of grey cardstock onto which I've white heat embossed the text. It's finished with a die cut hello from the Hello Thanks die set.

Aus der Vorderseite des Kartenrohlings habe ich mit der größeren der Slider Loop Stanzen von MFT zwei Schlitze eingestanzt, durch die ich einen Folienstreifen gezogen habe. Auf der Vorderseite ist der erste Brief, auf der Rückseite der zweite Brief befestigt. Zieht man nun am Cardstockstreifen an der Oberseite der Karte, verschwindet der erste Brief im Briefkasten, auf  der Innenseite kommt er aus dem Briefkasten heraus. 

Leider war es hier nur möglich, die Briefe so am Mechanismus anzubringen, dass das zeitgleich geschieht, man muss also den Streifen wieder hineinschieben, dann die Karte öffnen und erneut daran ziehen, damit der zweite Brief aus dem Briefkasten kommt. Rein theoretisch ginge das auch anders, aber da die Briefe durch den Schlitz kommen müssen, ging es hier einfach nicht anders.

From the card base I've die cut two slits using the larger one of the Slider Loop dies by MFT and put a strip of foil through them. The first letter is attached to the front of the foil strip, the second one to the back. When you pull the tab at the top of the card, the first letters goes into the mail box, the second one comes out of it. 

I was only possible to add the letters in a way that they both move at the same time. So you have to pull the strip, then put it back in before opening the card and pull it again. Theoretically it would also work that they move one after the other, but with the letters having to come through the slits it didn't work here.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 02. Mai 2020

In der heutigen Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins zeigen wir Euch eine Box zum Aufrollen. Dieses Geheimnis verrät sie aber nicht auf den ersten Blick, da sieht es aus wie eine ganz gewöhnliche Box.

Over at the Stempeleinmaleins Blog we are sharing a tutorial for a box that can be rolled up. But you don't see that at first sight, it just looks like a regular box.

Passend zu dem süßen Digi von Mo Manning habe ich auch die Box an sich mit rosafarbenem Designpapier mit kleinen Bienchen beklebt.

Das Motiv ist mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Darunter habe ich diesen Honigwaben-Hintergrund von Magnolia geklebt und auch ein paar der Ausschnitte als Deko mit aufgeklebt. 

Da sich das Bienchen nicht genug vom doch recht unruhigen Designpapier abgehoben hat, habe ich hier noch ein kleines Doily - an zwei Seiten gekürzt - mit aufgeklebt.

Der Spruch ist von MFT und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst.

Matching the cute digi stamp by Mo Manning I've also covered the box with pink designer's paper with a bee print.

The image is colored with Copics and cut out by hand. Under it I've glued the honeycomb, made with a die by Magnolia, and also added a few of the cut outs for decorations.

Since there wasn't enough contrast between the image and the background I've added a doily there, cutting two sides off.

The saying is by MFT and white heat embossed onto black cardstock.

Außerdem habe ich noch etwas Spitze rund um die Box gewickelt.

Oben an den überstehenden Laschen habe ich einige Blümchen und weitere der Honigwaben-Ausschnitte angebracht.

I've also wrapped a piece of lace around the box.

To the flaps on top of the box I've glued a few flowers and more of the honeycomb cut outs.

Der dekorierte Teil der Box ist nur eine Hülle - wie Ihr hier sehen könnt. Darin versteckt sich die eigentliche Box, die ich ebenfalls mit dem Bienen-Designpapier beklebt habe.

The decorated part of this box is just a sleeve - as you can see here. The box itself, that I've also covered with the bee print designer's paper, is slid into it.

Und hier der Grund, warum die Box "Box zum Aufrollen" heißt. Sie besteht aus vier kleinen Boxen, die aneinander geklebt und deshalb aufgerollt werden können. So ergeben sie dann optisch eine einzige Box.

Damit sie auch in nicht-aufgerolltem Zustand schön zusammenhält, sind an den Laschen oben zwei Magnete eingearbeitet. 

And here's the reason why this is called a "roll-up box". It's made from four seperat boxes that are glued together and can be rolled up to optically form one single box.

To keep it closed even when it's taken out of the sleeve I've added two magnets to the flaps on top.

NUTS

Ich arbeite ja immer etwas voraus was meine Blog- bzw.  DT-Beiträge angeht. So kann mir das Leben nicht dazwischenfunken. Darum weiß ich in diesem Moment, in dem ich den Beitrag vorbereite, nicht, wie sich die Situation inzwischen entwickelt hat. Aber eine Woche vor Ostern hat diese Karte den Wahnsinn einigermaßen zusammengefasst. Und heute zeige ich sie auf dem Stampcorner-Blog.

I always am a bit ahead of time regarding my blog and DT posts. So I'm prepared if life goes in the way. So now, while writing this post, I have no idea if and how the situation changed. But one week before Easter this card pretty much summed it up. And today I am sharing this card over at the Stampcorner-Blog.

Hier habe ich einen weiteren der neuen Mini-Stempel verwendet. Es ist ein Grrr-Text bei dem Motiv dabei - für mich schaut der kleine Kerl aber absolut erschrocken, ja fast schon panisch aus. Oder eben kurz vorm Durchdrehen. ;)

Ich habe hier auf schwarzen Cardstock mit pinkfarbener Hotfoil einen Rechteck-Rahmen auffoliert. Darüber habe ich Kreise von 1/2" bis 1 3/4", gestanzt aus weißem und helltürkis farbenem Cardstock verteilt. Die bilden den Hintergrund für die Motive.

Das Wort NUTS habe ich mit dem Wedding Alphabet von XCut aus pinkfarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und über einen Streifen weißen Cardstocks, türkisfarben gemattet, geklebt. Auf den habe ich vorher mit dem Drucker den Rest des Textes gedruckt.

Here I've used another one of the new mini stamps. There's a grrrr text coming with the image. But to me this little monster looks pretty scared, nearly panicking. Or just a hint away from turning nuts.

Here I've hotfoiled a rectangle frame with pink foil onto some black cardstock. On top of it I've glued some circles, measuring between 1/2" and 1 3/4", punched from white and light turquoise cardstock. Those are the background for my images.

The word NUTS is die cut from pink cardstock using the Wedding Alphabet by XCut and glued onto a strip of white cardstock, also matted turquoise. Onto the white strip I've printed the rest of the text with my home printer.

Und hier ist der arme kleine Kerl. Ich habe ihn dreimal abgestempelt, jeweils in pink und türkis coloriert und dann in unterschiedlicher Position hinter einen Polaroid-Rahmen gesetzt. Und damit man auch weiß, warum es ihm so geht, hat sich doch glatt eines der kleinen Aliens, das hier als Virus fungiert, mit auf die Karte geschlichen. Das ist ebenfalls in Pink gestempelt - außen dunkler, innen heller. 

Als Deko kamen dann noch ein paar pinkfarbene Enamel Accents auf die Karte.

And here's the poor boy. I've stamped him three times, colored him in pink and purple and then put him behind some die cut Polaroid frames, putting him in different positions. And to make clear why he's feeling the way he does there's also a little alien, here used as a virus, on this card. The virus is stamped with pink ink, using lighter one on the inside and darker one on the outside.

For decorations I've also added some pink Enamel Accents.

Ein Hase zum Geburtstag

Ostern ist ja eigentlich vorbei, aber dieser süße Hase mit dem Luftballon geht doch das ganze Jahr über, oder? Hier überbringt er ganz herzliche Glückwünsche.

Easter has passed, but this cute bunny with the heart shaped balloon can be used all year long, right? Here I've made a birthday card.

Bei dieser Karte wollte ich etwas ausprobieren - und hatte einen Denkfehler, so dass das Ergebnis ganz anders ausgefallen ist, als ich geplant hatte. Der zweizeilige Text im Inneren war schuld. Und so ist die Karte vielleicht nicht so, wie ich sie mir vorgestellt hatte, die Rettung ist mir aber doch geglückt. 

Hier habe ich eine Gatefold Card gemacht. Eigentlich hätte der Hase mit aufklappen sollen, aber die Schnur am Ballon war so dünn, dass ich das Motiv einfach komplett aufkleben musste. Was dazu führte, dass ich den armen Hasen in der Mitte zerschneiden musste. 

I wanted to try a technique here - and didn't properly think it through. So now the result is completly different from what I had planned. The two lined text in the middle was the problem. And while the card is nothing like what I had in mind I think the rescue mission was a success.

I've made a Gatefold Card here. I had planned the bunny to stick to the lower flap but the string of the balloon was too thin and so I had to glue the complete image down onto the card. And that led to me having to cut the bunny apart as well.

Der Hase ist mit Copics coloriert. 

Den Himmel habe ich mit hellblauer Tinte gewischt und zwei schnörkelige Wolken mit der selben Tinte darauf gestempelt.

Das Gras ist grün gewischt und mit Copics habe ich ein paar einzelne Grasbüschel hinzugefüt. Die Blume, die normalerweise direkt neben dem Häschen steht, habe ich hier an die rechte Seite der Karte geklebt.

Das Herzlichen ist ein Teil eines der Stempel aus dem Stempelset Kombitexte für Textstanzen. Ich habe es auf ein weißes Banner gestempelt und unter der Ballonschnur auf die Karte geklebt.

The bunny is colored with Copics.

The sky is made with light blue ink and I've stamped two swirly clouds to the sky using the same ink. 

The grass is made with green ink and I've used my Copics again to add some more detailed grass areas. The flower is originally right next to the bunny but I've decided to glue it to the right side of the card here.

I've stamped a word onto a white banner and glued it onto the card under the string of the balloon. Together with the die cut word it reads heartfelt congratulations.

Die Glückwunsch Textstanze kommt mit einer Stanze für einen passenden Schatten. Den Schatten habe ich aus der Front der Karte ausgestanzt, jeweils einen Teil auf je einer der Klappen. Dann habe ich den Schatten nochmal aus zart grünem Cardstock gestanzt und passend durch den Ausschnitt ins Innere der Karte geklebt. Hierauf kam dann der ausgestanzte Glückwunsch-Text, gestanzt aus schwarzem Cardstock.

This congrats die comes with a die to cut a matching shadow. I've die cut the shadow from the front of the card, cutting one half from both the flaps. Then I've die cut the shadow again from a soft green cardstock and glued it through the cut out to the inside of the card. Onto this shadow I've glued the actual word, cut from black cardstock.

I carrot 'bout you

Bei manchen Sets hat man auf den ersten Blick ein bestimmtes Thema im Kopf, aber auf den zweiten findet man noch weitere Verwendungsmöglichkeiten. So ging es mir bei dem Stempelset Some Bunny von LawnFawn, das natürlich im ersten Moment Ostern ruft. Dass es auch anders einsetzbar ist, zeige ich Euch heute auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog.

There are stamp sets that seem to be made for a special occasion. But at a second look there are other ways to use it. One of those sets is the Some Bunny stamp set by LawnFawn, that says Easter at first sight. That it can be used differently is what I'm sharing over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog today.

Die Karte ist für einen Gärntner entstanden - um zu sagen, dass er mir wichtig ist. 

Ich habe mit Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass und der Cloud Stencil von MFT nur eine Wolkenlinie und darüber blauen Himmel auf weißen Cardstock gewischt. Etwas unterhalb der Hälfte der Karte habe ich dann mit Mowed Lawn und der Grassy Edges Stencil eine Lage Gras aufgewischt.

Die Hasen und das Hochbeet sind, genauso wie die Karotte und der Text, aus besagtem Some Bunny Stempelset. Die Motive sind mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Hinter dem rechten Hasen habe ich noch ein interaktives Element versteckt. Dafür habe ich den Arm vom Hauptmotiv abgeschnitten und ein weiteres Mal abgstempelt, coloriert und mit etwas "Anhang" ausgeschnitten. Hinter dem Hasen befindet sich ein kleines Loch, gemacht mit einer 3/8" Stanze. Dann habe ich ein kleines Brad durch einen schmalen Streifen Cardstock sowie die schwarze Mattung gesteckt. Um den Kopf des Brads habe ich, auf dem Cardstockstreifen, 3D Tape aufgebracht und damit den Arm des Hasen am Cardstockstreifen befestigt. Die Karotte ist von hinten direkt gegen den Arm geklebt. Das Hochbeet und den Rest des Hasen habe ich ebenfalls mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Bewegt man nun den an der Seite herausschauenden Cardstock, zieht der Hase die Karotte aus dem Beet. 

Den unteren Teil der Karte habe ich mit gründem Cardstock beklebt, dessen oberes Ende ich mit einer der Grassy Hills Stanzen ebenfalls in Grasform gebracht habe. Auf diesem grünen Cardstock habe ich dann einen mit weißem Embossingpulver auf schwarzen Cardstock embossten Text geklebt und ihn mit Raupe und einer weiteren Karotte dekoriert. Die Raupe ist aus dem A Bug Deal Stempelset.

Und weil der Himmel so etwas fad aussah, habe ich dort noch eine Sonne, halb versteckt hinter einer Wolke, sowie Schmetterlinge aufgeklebt. Die Sonne und Wolke sind aus dem Rain Before 'n' After Stempelset, die Schmetterlinge aus dem Butterfly Kisses Set.

This card is made for a gardener, wanting to tell him that he matters to me. 

I've used Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass and the Cloud stencil by MFT to add one single cloud line and a blue sky above it onto some white cardstock. At about the half of the white cardstock I've added a grass edge, using Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn and the Grassy Edges stencil.

The bunnies and raised bed are from said Some Bunny stamp set, as are the carrots and the saying. I've colored the images with Copics and cut them out by hand. I've also hidden an interactive element in this card. Therefor I've cut off the arm of the bunny on the right, stamped the arm again seperately and cut it out, leaving some paper behind the arm. Behind the bunny there's a hole, made with a 3/8" punch. Then I've put  small brad through a strip of cardstock and the black matting of the card. Around the head of brad I've put some 3D tape onto the cardstock strip and glued the arm onto it. The carrot is glued to the arm. The raised bed and the rest of the bunny are attached to the card with dimensionals. If you move the cardstock strip the bunny pulls the carrot out of the bed.

The lower part of the card is covered with green cardstock, I've used one of the Grassy Hills Edges on the top edge. Onto the green cardstock I've glued the saying, white heat embossed onto some black cardstock, and another carrot as well as a caterpillar. This is from the A Bug Deal stamps set.

And since the sky looked too plain I've added a sun, half hidden behind a cloud, and some butterflies here. The sun and cloud are from the Rain Before 'n' After stamp set, the butterflies from the Butterfly Kisses set.
