Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 9. Oktober 2010

Samstag - also Zeit für das Stempeleinmaleins! Diesmal haben wir einen Anleitung für einen Cardfolder.

It´s saturday - so the time for another issue of Stempeleinmaleins has come. This week we have a tutorial for how to make a cardfolder.

Da ich eigentlich nie längliche Karten mache, habe ich die Maße geändert, so daß mein Folder nun für Mini-Karten mit 3,5" x 3,5" paßt.

Since I hardly ever make anything else but square cards I changed the measurements so now my cardfolder is perfect for mini cards with the size of 3,5" x 3,5".

Und ein passendes Kärtchen habe ich auch schon mal gemacht, damit der Folder nicht so leer ist:

Oktober ist nun mal Halloween-Monat - und so konnte ich einfach nicht anders, als ein Halloween-Thema für meinen Folder zu verwenden. Und wie es der Zufall so will, lagen da diese kleine Gummibär-Tütchen - und die passen zusammen mit der Karte doch prima in den Folder! So sieht das ganze aus, wenn man den Folder öffnet:

October is the month of Halloween - and so I just had to make my folder halloween themed. And I had those cute little gumbears lying on my desk - and two of these fit perfectly into the folder too. This is how the folder looks when you just opened it:

I bought these cute halloween images last year after Halloween so I wasn´t able to use them yet - now was the time to do so! And also the spider web corner punch was used for the first time here.

Ich habe die süßen Motive von LeLo Design letztes Jahr nach Halloween gekauft und bisher hatte ich keine Gelegenheit sie zu verwenden - jetzt war die perfekte Gelegenheit! Und auch der Spinnennetz-Ecken-Stanzer ist das erste Mal zum Einsatz gekommen.

Bei Cute Card Thursday heißt es "make your own" - und wir sollen unsere Embellishments selbst machen. Ich habe meinen Weihnachtsstern aus drei verschiedenen Lagen Die Cuts gemacht.

At Cute Card Thursday the new theme is "make your own" and they want us to make our own embellishments. I used 3 different die cuts to make the pointsettia.

Bah Humbug will es diesmal cute, also ein niedliches Motiv. Was anderes geht bei mir eh ganz selten ;O).

Bah Humbug is going cute this week, so use a cute christmas image. Well, I hardly ever make a non-cute card ;O).

Und bei Hanna and Friends soll es eine Weihnachtskarte sein.

X - das ist der Buchstabe, bei dem die Alphabet Challenge angekommen ist. Und das steht für X-Mas, also Weihnachten.

Happy Hour! Nein, ich bin nicht unter die Barkeeper gegangen - Happy Hour lautet das Thema unserer neuen Challenge bei Cupcake Craft! Und Euer Werk sollte in irgendeiner Art etwas mit Getränken zu tun haben...

Happy Hour! No, I didn´t become a bar keeper - Happy Hour is the theme of our new challenge at Cupcake Craft! And your project should have something to do with drinks...

Mir fiel da als erstes das Set mit der Flasche, dem Champagnerglas und dem Leuchter von Magnolia ein. Und nach etwas überlegen bin ich dann zu dieser Idee gekommen.

The first thing that came to my mind was the stamp set with the wine bottle, the champagne glass and the chandelier by Magnolia. And after a bit of thinking I came up with this idea.


Die Vorlage für die Flasche habe ich beim Googeln hier gefunden. Leider steht dort nicht, von wem sie ist. Ich habe sie etwas breiter gezogen und statt einer Klappkarte eine Easel Card gemacht.

After googling I found the bottle pattern here. Unfortunately there is no link to who created it. I changed it a bit to make it wider and used the shape to make an easel card instead a normal card.


Und natürlich muß auch die Innenseite der Karte verziert werden - und zwar so:

Wir von Magnolia Down Under haben diesmal eine Farbkombi für Euch: Kraft - also packpapierbraun -, blau, gelb und grün.

This week we at Magnolia Down Under have a color combo for you: kraft, blue, yellow and green.

Ich wollte unbedingt die süße "Sleeping Baby Tilda" verwenden... Und die Farbkombi hat sich da natürlich angeboten. Die Flügel sind mit Glitzer überzogen und auch an den Rändern der Papiere habe ich etwas Glitzer verteilt. Der kleine Tag und der Text sind von Stampin´Up, die Papiere von verschiedenen Herstellern.

I wanted to use the cute "Sleeping Baby Tilda"... and the colors seemed to be perfect for a little boy card. The wings and the edges of the papers are covered with a hint of glitter. The tag and the saying on it are by Stampin´Up, papers different brands.

Meine Karte paßt außerdem zur neuen Challenge bei Stempelträume: "Tilda oder braun".

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 2. Oktober 2010

Wunderschönen Samstag Euch allen! Es ist schon wieder Wochenende - und damit Zeit für eine neue Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins. Diesmal mit einer Anleitung für so eine tolle Frame Card.

Happy saturday to all of you! It´s the weekend again - and that means it´s also time for a new issue of the Stempeleinmaleins. This week we have a tutorial for how to make such a beautiful Frame Card.

Ich habe meine Cricut verwendet und damit das Haus und den Baum ausgeschnitten. Den Hügel habe ich mit der Hand geschafft... ;O) Alles ist dann mit 3D Pads in den Rahmen montiert - zwischen Baum und Zaun befindet sich auch nochmal ein Streifen Gras. Leider konnte ich das nicht so fotografieren, daß es erkennbar ist. Der Baum ist zudem noch mit Flower Soft und grünem Flock überzogen. Der Zaun ist der neue "Lovely Fence" Die von Magnolia. Und Tilda ist natürlich die süße Apple Tilda!

I used my Cricut to cut the house and the tree. The hill is handcut.... All that is mounted with 3D foam. There´s another layer of grass between the fence and the tree but I wasn´t able to take a pic that showed that layer good. The tree is covered with Flower Soft and velvet flock. The fence is the Lovely Tree die by Magnolia - and Tilda is of course the cute new Apple Tilda.

Schönen Freitag Euch allen! Die heutige Karte steht wieder ganz unter dem Thema "Herbst", denn bei "Stampin´ for the Weekend" heißt es "Autumn Inspiration" - also herbstinspiriert - und auch bei Sir Stampalot hat der Herbst Einzug gehalten: "autumn breeze, buttons and a bow" - also Herbstwind, Knöpfe und eine Schleife.
Da ich mein Orange- und Rot-Pensum für diese Woche voll habe, habe ich mich für die etwas tristeren Herbstfarben Braun und Gelb-Grün entschieden. Dafür versprüht Tilda in ihrem Berg Blätter ganz viel Freude.

Happy Friday to all of you! Today´s card is once again fall themed because "Stampin´ for the Weekend" is asking for "autumn inspiration" and fall also arrived at Sir Stampalot: "autumn breeze, buttons and a bow".
I think for the rest of the week I am done with all those reds and oranges and so I went with the more "sad" fall colors brown and green. But Tilda in that pile of fallen leaves is having so much fun that the card still looks happy to me.

Und bei Totally PaperCrafts heißt es "the great outdoors" - na wenn Tila nicht zeigt, wie toll die Natur sein kann!

And at Totally PaperCrafts the new theme is "the great outdoors" - and Tilda is really showing how great nature and being outside can be!

Das Motiv heißt "Tilda in Autumn Leaves" und ist von Magnolia, die Papiere sind mal wieder quer Beet - und statt eines Textes habe ich dieses Siegel in Siegelwachs gedrückt. Es sagt
"100 % authentic, 100 % pure".

The image is called Tilda in Autumn Leaves and is by Magnolia, papers are different brands and instead stamping a saying I´ve added that seal made with seal wax. It says "100 % authentic, 100 % pure".

Damit paßt diese Challenge mit der vom Color Throwdown, wo es die Farbvorgabe Riding Hood Red, Old Olive und Pumpkin Pie gibt, und For Fun Challenges zusammen, wo es ebenfalls heißt "it´s fall" (no Halloween!).

At Simon Says Stamp the new challenge is called "it´s autumn" and we are asked to use fall-ish colors. So their challenge is matching the one at Color Throwdown, where they want us to use the colors Riding Hood Red, Old Olive and Pumpkin Pie, and the challenge at For Fun Challenges, which is also called "it´s fall" (no Halloween!).

sowie den Hund aus dem Set "Puppy, Doll, Teddy"

and the little doggie from the "Puppy, Doll, Teddy" set



gestempelt. Herausgekommen ist dabei dann diese süße Szene von Belle´s Bruder auf dem Weg in ein spannendes Abenteuer mit seinen Freunden:

Wohin läuft er denn...? Nun, ich habe eine Slider-Card gemacht. Und wenn man an dem kleinen Tab zieht kommt eine kleine Straße mit gemütlichen Häusern zum Vorschein. Darüber habe ich dann den Text plaziert: "Life is good." - "Friends make it great.". (Ihr könnt auf das Bild clicken, um die Karte besser zu sehen.)

Happy tuesday! Being happy is quite hard today - the rain is pouring since hours... So I also have to say sorry for the bad pictures - even the day light is too dark for taking a good one today.

Enstanden ist die Karte nach diesem Sketch von Double Dutch:

Weil die Linie rechts unterbrochen ist dachte ich es soll eine Falz-Linie sein - und habe, wie auch eines der DT Mitglieder, hier eine kleine "Klappe" eingebaut:

Since the line on the right side is broken I thought this is meant to be a scoring fold - and so I added a flap like also one of the DT members did:


Die Farben sind eine Vorgabe von Our Creative Corner: Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede und Early Espresso.
Und somit passen sie auch zur Farbvorgabe von Take Time For You: braun und eine andere Farbe, in meinem Fall dann natürlich blau.

And so they go hand in hand with the colors are Take Time For You: brown and one additional color - which of course is blue in my case.

Und bei A Spoon Full Of Sugar heißt es "Spots and Stripes" - Punkte und Streifen. Die Streifen verstecken sich bei mir im Karo-Muster. Sind ja auch nur Streifen, kreuzweise übereinander gedruckt, richtig?

And at A Spoon Full Of Sugar the new challenge is called "spots and stripes". The stripes on my card can be found on the checked paper. These are also stripes painted cross wise, right?

Ich habe hier die "Tilda with Cherries" aus der Cozy Autumn Collection von Magnolia verwendet. Da die Farbvorgabe aber blau und nicht rot war habe ich die Kirschen kurzerhand zu Blaubeeren umfunktioniert. Und innen habe ich dann neben dem Text von Stampin´Up den "Lovely Fence" verwendet. Der ist einfach zu süß!

I used "Tilda with Cherries" from the Cozy Autumn Collection by Magnolia here. Since the given colors was blue, not read I just "changed" the cherries into "blueberries". Under the flap I used the Lovely Fence die - it´s just too cute!

Belles´n´Whistles Challenge # 16

Montag - natürlich gibt es auch diese Woche eine neue Challenge bei Belles´n´Whistles! Zur Aufgabe haben wir diesen Sketch für Euch:

Monday - of course that also means a new challenge at Belles´n´Whistles! And we have this great sketch for you this week:

Ich habe mich für "Tania Baking" entschieden - und passend zu dem leckeren Schokoladenkuchen, der da gerade gerührt wird, meine Karte in Schokotönen gehalten. Über das Motiv habe ich eine Schicht Matte Accents gelegt - es sieht fast aus, als ob eine dünne Schicht Wachs über dem Motiv liegen würde. Die Papiere sind aus dem Paris Nights Paper Pad von GCD, der "Text" von Stampin´Up. Um das Motiv etwas mehr hervorzuheben habe ich die Ränder mit etwas Glitzer verziert.

I went with "Tania Baking" - and matching the color of the yummy chocolat cake she is going to make I only used chocolate colors for my card. I put some Matte Accents on top of the image - it kind of looks like some wax is on it. Papers are from Paris Nights Paper Pad by GCD, "text" by Stampin´Up. To make the image pop out a bit more I put some glitter to the edges of the paper with the image on it.

Cupcake Craft # 110

Es ist schon wieder Montag - und somit Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Cupcake Craft. Diesmal haben wir eine Farbkombination für Euch: rosa und braun.

It´s monday again - and so it´s time for a new challenge at Cupcake Craft. We have a color combo for you this week: pink and brown.

Ich habe die "Farwell Tilda" von Magnolia verwendet und sie mit dem Text von Stampin´Up kombiniert. Und aus den Dragonflies Cutting Dies von Magnolia habe ich dann die süßen Schmetterlinge gemacht - ich habe einfach den Körper der Libelle etwas gekürzt. Die Papiere sind von GCD und K&Company, Tilda ist mit einer Schicht UTEE überzogen - leider hat es hier beim Fotografieren ein paar Glanzpunkte gegeben...

I used Farwell Tilda by Magnolia and combined her with a text by Stampin´Up. And I used the Dragonflies Cutting Dies by Magnolia to make those cute butterflies - I just cut the body of those dragonflies. Papers are by GCD and K&Company, Tilda is covered with a layer of UTEE - that caused some light reflections while taking the picture...

Hallo - und wunderschönen ersten Herbst-Samstag im Jahr 2010! Ja, man siehts auch am Wetter... Aber es ist nicht nur der erste Samstag im Herbst, sondern auch der letzte im September - und das heißt, es gibt eine neue Challenge beim Stempeleinmaleins. Diesmal kommt der Sketch von Moni und sieht so aus:

Meine Karte ist mit einem Motiv von Ladybug and Friends verziert: "A Letter For You". Und dazu gefiel mir der Text so gut, daß ich einfach einen Stempel davon kreiert habe - den Ihr ab heute abend dann auch in meinem Shop kaufen könnt, übrigens auch in Deutsch. Da heißt er dann "Eine Karte ist eine Umarmung mit einem Knick in der Mitte".

Lili of the Valley hätte gerne "untraditional christmas" Karten. Ich hoffe, meine ist untraditionell genug.

Lili of the Valley wants us to make an "untraditional christmas" card. I hope mine is untraditional enough.

Bei Charisma Cardz ist diese Woche alles erlaubt, denn "anything goes".

At Charisma Cardz everything is possible this week because "anything goes".

Bei Anything Goes soll es ebenfalls "cute" sein.

At Anything Goes the card should also be "cute".

Und bei Colour Create heißt es "all white" - also alles weiß, nur das Motiv darf coloriert sein. Zum Glück gibt es auch bei weiß verschiedene Schattierungen!

And at Colour Create the creation has to be "all white" - only the image may be colored. Lucky us that there are even different shades of white!

Das Motiv auf meiner Karte ist natürlich von Lili of the Valley - ich fand, es paßt prima zu Weiß. Der Text ist von Stampin´Up, die Papiere von verschiedenen Herstellern. Ich habe die Ränder der Papiere mit clarem Embossingpulver überzogen, das mit kleinen Glitzerteilen gemischt ist. Und den silbernen Stern-Charm habe ich mit Crackle Paint weiß gemacht. Über dem Text ist eine dicke Schicht Glossy Accents...

The image - of course - is by Lili of the Valley - I thought it would be great with the all white theme. Saying is by Stampin´Up, papers different brands. I covered the edges of the papers with some clear embossing powder, that has tiny glitter parts in it. The silver star charm is made white using Crackle Paint. I covered the saying with a layer of Glossy Accents.

Das Motiv ist aus der letztjährigen Herbstkollektion von Sugar Nellie, ebenso die Blätter, die ich auf herbstliches Papier gestempelt habe, und die Eicheln. Die Papiere sind aus dem Fall-Stack von DCWV. Für das gewisse Extra habe ich auf den Blättern ein wenig goldenen Glitzer verteilt.

The image is from last years fall collection by Sugar Nellie, so are the leaves that I stamped on fall-ish papers and the acorns. Papers are from the fall stack by DCWV. For a little extra I added some golden glitter to the leaves.

Dies ist der Sketch, nach dem ich diese Karte gemacht habe - er kommt von Stamps & Fun = Creativity: This is the sketch that I used for this card - it´s from Stamps & Fun = Creativity: Bei Stempelträume lautet das Thema "Schleife" - und geht somit Hand in Hand mit der Challenge von Wild Orchid, wo es heißt "ribbons and bows" - also Bänder und Schleifen. At Stempelträume the theme is "bow" - and so it is about the same like at Wild Orchid, where the challenge is called "ribbons and bows". Lovely Hänglar Only hat sich für Paper Piecing entschieden. Lovely Hänglar Only wants us to do some Paper Piecing. Und bei den Kreativen Stempelfreunden ist schon Herbst - zumindest beim Thema. And at Kreative Stempelfreunde "fall" has arrived - at least in this week´s challenge. Das Motiv ist aus dem "Limited Edition" Kit von Hänglar. Ich habe zum Paper Piecen dieselben Papiere wie auf der Karte verwendet - alle in schönen Herbstfarben. The image is from the "Limited Edition" kit by Hänglar. I used the same papers for the paper piecing as I did on the card - all of them in beautiful warm fall colors.

Cupcake Craft # 109

"Transport" - das ist das Thema, das wir für die neue Challenge bei Cupcake Craft ausgewählt haben. Nun ja, ich gebe zu - im ersten Moment konnte ich damit nicht viel anfangen. Aber dann habe ich etwas um die Ecke gedacht und finde das Thema klasse. Alles und jeder, der/die/das irgendetwas transportiert kann verwendet werden: der Weihnachtsmann mit seinem Schlitten, ein Herbst-Stempel mit Schubkarre, all die süßen Kinderstempel mit Dreirädern, Puppenwägen... Ich habe mich letztendlich für diesen Stempel von Lili of the Valley entschieden denn damit konnte ich endlich die tollen Papiere von K&Company kombinieren.

"Transport" - that´s the theme we at Cupcake Craft picked for our new challenge. Well, I have to admit that I had no idea what to make when I read that theme for the first time. But then I thought a bit outside of the box and changed my mind. Everyone and everything transporting something - or someone - can be used here: Santa with his sleigh, a fall-ish stamp with a wheelcart, all those cute kids stamps showing doll carts and trikes.... At the end I went with this cute stamp by Lili of the Valley because I was able to combine it with those cute papers by K&Company I wanted to use since ages but didn´t have the right idea for them.

Der Spruch ist von Studio G, ich habe die Ränder etwas distressed und teilweise Weathered Wood Distress Ink darauf gegeben. Als Embellishments fand ich dann das Nagel-Brad, die Buchecke und das Schild passend...

The saying is by Studio G, I distressed the edges of my papers and used some Weathered Wood Distress Ink on a few of them. As embellishments I thought that nail brad, the metal corner and the bookplate would fit perfectly...

Meine Karte paßt außerdem wunderbar zur neuen Challenge bei Stamp With Fun: "Kuscheltiere".

My card is also fitting greatly into the new challenge at Stamp With Fun: stuffed animals.

Magnolia Down Under # 64

"Fancy Folds" - das ist das Thema das wir diese Woche bei Magnolia Down Under haben. Wir möchten gerne Karte mit mehr als 2 Falzungen haben. Also z. B. Joy Fold Cards, Stair Step Cards, Gate Fold Cards... Was immer Euch einfällt. Ich habe mich für letzte Variante entschieden - darum muß ich die Karte auch auf dem Foto mit dem Finger zuhalten: sie öffnet sich in der Mitte. Dabei schwenken das Motiv und der Text mit auf die linke Seite. (Zum Dekorieren der Innenseite der Karte bin ich noch nicht gekommen, darum gibt es kein geöffnetes Foto...)

"Fancy Folds" - that´s the theme we at Magnolia Down Under have picked for you this week. We´d like to see cards with more than two folds - i. e. a Joy Fold Card, a Stair Step Card, a Gate Fold Card... Whatever you can think of. I went with a Gate Fold Card - and that´s why I had to hold it closed while taking the picture: it opens in the middle. The image and the saying are only attached to the left side of the card so it can open. (I didn´t decorate the inside yet so I don´t have taken a picture of the opened card...)

Ich habe eine der älteren Tildas genommen und neben sie auf den Boden ein paar kleine Pilze von Stampin´Up gesetzt. Passend dazu ist das Pilz-Papier von Magnolia, die anderen Papiere sind von DCWV, der Text von Stampin´Up. Die Ränder der Papiere habe ich mit kupferfarbenem Embossingpulver überzogen.

I used one of the older Tildas and stamped a few mushrooms by Stampin´Up next to her. So the Magnolia paper is matching even better. The other papers are by DCWV, saying by Stampin´Up. I also covered the edges of the papers with copper embossing powder.

Meine Karte ist außerdem nach der Farbvorgabe bei ColorQ gearbeitet: Cherry Cobbler, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz, Early Espress und White.

Cooking it up with Katie möchten eine "fancy an autumn embossed fold" Karte haben: verwendet Embossing, ein Herbst-Thema oder -Farbkombi und so wie bei Magnolia Down Under auch eine fancy fold Karte.

Ich habe einige Ränder mit Distress Crackle Paint Antique Linen überzogen, die anderen sind aufgenäht, so daß die Karte auch zur Challenge bei Sweet Stampin´ Challenge paßt: stitching.

I covered a few of the edges with Distress Crackle Paint Antique Linen, the others are sewn down so my card also fits into the challenge at Sweet Stampin´ Challenge: stitching.

Bei Just Magnolia heißt das Thema "lace it up" - also Spitze - und somit deckt es sich mit dem Thema von Fun With Shapes and More, denn die haben sich auch für Spitze entschieden.

At Just Magnolia the new theme is "lace it up" and so it is what also Fun With Shapes and More picked: lace.

Bei Totally Papercrafts heißt es "happy birthday" - also habe ich den Celebrate-Tag angebracht, der auch super zur wunderschön festlich gekleideten Tilda paßt. Hier gleich ein dickes Dankeschön and das Team von Totally Papercrafts, daß sie meine Karte der letzten Challenge unter die Top 3 gewählt haben!

Bei Theme Thursday heißt es diesmal "3 things". Ich habe 3 Farben und 3 verschiedene Papiere verwendet.

At Theme Thursday the new challenge is "3 things". I went with 2 colors and 3 different papers.

Und bei den Cutie Stampers soll es diese Woche glitzern - ich habe das Paket und den Text mit Glitzer überzogen. Auf dem Text war er noch nicht ganz trocken, aber ich muß jetzt los und wollte die Karte unbedingt vorher noch einstellen. Er wird dort noch etwas dezenter werden...

And the Cutie Stampers want to see it sparkle - so I covered the gift and the saying with some glitter. It wasn´t all dry on the saying yet but I had to leave and wanted to post the card before. It will get lighter there...
