Stamptacular Sunday # 44 und Everybody Art # 78

Diesmal gibt es eine Valentinskarte in rosa und grau. Die Farbkombi ist so wunderschön edel und paßt damit wunderbar zu der elegant gekleideten Willow, die sich chic gemacht hat und nun bei einem Gläschen Champagner auf ihren Liebsten wartet.
Der Stempel heißt "Willow mit Champagnerglas" und ist aus der neuen City Girl Kollektion von Whiff Of Joy.
Dieser Stempel ist so vielseitig einsetzbar - nicht nur für verschiedene Gelegenheiten. Mir gefällt, daß Willow, je nachdem wie man sie coloriert, auch alterstechnisch variabel ist. Mit grauem Haar wird sie zu einer eleganten älteren Dame, mit blondem Haar ein junges Mädchen auf dem Abschlußball....

Today I have made a valentine´s card in grey and pink. This is such a elegant color combo and so it matches perfectly this elegant dressed Willow who dressed herself up and is now waiting for her date, having a little glass of champagne while waiting.
The stamp is called "Willow mit Champagnerglas" - Willow with glass of champagne - and is from the new City Girl collection by Whiff Of Joy.
This stamp can be used in so many different ways - and I am not only talking about different oportunitites. I love that, depending on the way you color her, she can also be made into a girl of any age. With grey hair she´ll be an elegant older lady, with blond her she´ll look like a young girl ready for her graduation ball...

Zum Colorieren habe ich Copics verwendet und im Hintergrund etwas von den nagelneuen Distress Inks von Tim Holtz aufgetragen. Neben den Blumen und dem Schmetterling habe ich Glitzersteine und einige silberfarbene Rub-Ons als Deko verwendet. Abgerundet wird das ganze dann noch mit silberglitzerndem Embossingpulver, das ich auf die Blumen und an die Ränder des Schmetterlinges aufgetragen habe.

I used Copics for coloring and added some of the brand new Tim Holtz Distress Inks around the image. Besides flowers and the butterfly I used some rhinestones and silver rub-ons to decorate the card. As a final touch I also added some sparkling silver embossing powder to the flowers and the edges of the butterfly.

Cupcake Craft # 77

Okay, das Thema, das Tammy für die neue Challenge bei Cupcake Craft Challenges ausgesucht hat, lautet "red and white all over", also nur rot und weiß auf der Karte verwenden. Da fällt meine Karte dann unter "klassische Thema-Verfehlung", oder? Naja, ich habe halt ein ganz zartes rot gewählt.... Wir werden diese Woche von Sassy Studio Designs gesponsort und wir hatten zwei Motive zur Auswahl - eines davon diese schöne Braut. Und da paßt so ein knalliges rot dann nicht wirklich, oder?

Okay, the theme Tammy picked for the new challenge over at Cupcake Craft is "red and white all over". So, my card seems to really not match this challenge, right? Can we say I used a very light red...? This week we are sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs and they gave the DT two images to choose frome. One of them was this beautiful bride. And a bright red really wouldn´t fit that image.

Stempeleinmaleins - Woche 12

Es ist Samstag - und somit Zeit für eine neue Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins! Diesmal haben wir Domi als Gastdesignerin und sie hat eine tolle Anleitung für eine Lichterkarte für uns geschrieben. Bei der Lichterkarte handelt es sich im Prinzip um eine Abwandlung der Shadow Box Karte...
Und so sieht die Karte beleuchtet aus (etwas schwer, das bei Tageslicht einzufangen):

Ich habe "Happy Tilda" aus der neuen Kollektion von Magnolia verwendet. Der Spruch ist mit dem Computer geschrieben - er paßte einfach so schön zu der "leuchtenden" Karte. Das Herz ist mit einem Stanzer von Stampin´Up gestanzt - und zu der Idee mit den Federn hat mich der Sketch inspiriert.

I used "Happy Tilda" from Magnolia´s new collection. The saying is computer generated - it matches so wonderfully the lightning card. The heart is a punch by Stampin´Up - and the sketch inspired me to use some feathers as wings.

Daring Cardmakers, Copic Creations # 21, Copic Colour Challenge # 50 und Inspirationall Card Sketches # 52

Es ist Februar, das heißt, bei den Daring Cardmakers ist es Zeit, für die nächste "Geburtsstein-Challenge". Und diesmal ist es der Amethyst, der die Farbe lila hat. Und diesmal gibt es dort - ausnahmsweise - einen Preis zu gewinnen, der von Craft Obsessions gesponsort wird.

It´s february and so it´s time for another birthstone challenge over at Daring Cardmakers. And for february we have the amethyst which has a violett color. And they also have a price this week, sponsored by Craft Obsessions.

Und dann habe ich zwei - für mich - neue Copic Challenge Blogs entdeckt: Copic Colour Challenges und Copic Creations.
Bei Copic Colour Challenges ist die aktuelle Aufgabe, irgendwo die Farben E18, E 42 und E 77 zu verwenden - oder ähnliche, falls Du diese nicht hast. Ich habe E 18 in den Haaren, E 42 im Kleid und E 77 in den Schuhen und der Handtasche verwendet.
Und bei Copic Creations ist das Thema "feather blending", also die Farben nicht mit kreisenden Bewegungen, sondern mit kleinen Strichen miteinander zu verbinden. Es gibt dort 3 wunderbare Anleitungen - von einfach bis schwieriger. Ich habe mit Hilfe dieser Technik dem Oberteil eine Farbverlauf-Optik gegeben.

And then I discovered two new - at least for me - Copic Challenge blogs: Copic Colour Challenges and Copic Creations.
At Copic Colour Challenges the actuall dare is to use the colors E 18, E 42 and E 77 somewhere on your card - or similar ones if you don´t own these. I used E 18 in the hair, E 42 on the dress and E 77 on the shoes and the bag.
And Copic Creations wants us to do "feather blending" which means to blend the colors together with little feather strokes instead circle motions. They have 3 great tutorials - from easy to advanced - posted. I used this technique on the dress to blend from violett to light brown.

Das tolle Motiv ist von Whiff of Joy - aus der neuen City Girl Collection, die es seit Donnerstag zu bestellen gibt. Ich finde, das Motiv ist perfekt für eine Einladung zu einer "Mädels-Party-Nacht". Das denkt auch meine Große und so wird diese Karte bald als Geburtstagsgeschenk an ihre beste Freundin gehen...
Auf der Perlenkette habe ich Liquid Pearls verwendet und um dem Kleid noch den richtigen Disco-Look zu geben, habe ich darauf klares Embossingpulver, das mit Glitzerpartikeln angereichert ist, verteilt. Wenn Ihr auf das Bild klickt, könnt Ihr diesen Effekt etwas sehen, aber in echt glitzert das Kleid total toll!

This great image is by Whiff Of Joy - from the new City Girl Collection which can be ordered since thursday. I think, this image is perfect for a girls night invitation. And so thinks my oldest daughter which means that this card will go to her very best friend as a birthday gift...
I used Liquid Pearls on the necklace and to add the perfect disco touch to the image I covered it with clear embossing powder that has tiny glitter pieces in it. If you enlarge the pic by clicking on it you´ll get an idea of how it sparkles but you should see it in real life! If you move the card the dress is sparkling so wonderful!

Bei Stamp Something heißt es diesmal "love something" - und das Thema ist Valentinstag.
Und auch bei Stampin For The Weekend heißt das neue Thema "love is in the air - Valentine´s". Ideal, um einen weiteren der neuen Magnolia Stempel zu verwenden. Diesmal "Tilda writing Diary" - und im Hintergrund den "Valentine Letter" - ein großer Stempel, der wie ein handgeschriebener Brief aussieht.
Der "Text" ist von Stampin´Up, die Papiere von K&Company und DCWV. Die weiße Spitze habe ich mit grüner Distress Ink eingefärbt, das Motiv ist mit Copics coloriert.

At Stamp Something the new theme is "love something" and of course it´s valentine´s related.
And at Stampin For The Weekend they have "love is in the air - valentine´s" chosen as theme of their new challenge also. Perfect to use another of the new Magnolia stamps. Here I used "Tilda writing Diary" - and for the background "Valentine Letter" - a big stamp looking like a handwritten letter.
The "saying" is by Stampin´Up, papers by K&Company and DCWV. I colored the formally white lace with green distress ink, the image is colored with Copics.

Das Motiv ist von Whiff Of Joy, der Text aus einem alten Tag-Set von Stampin´Up, die Papiere kleine Rest von verschiedenen Herstellern. Die Flügel habe ich mit Stickles zum Glitzern gebracht.

A Spoon Full Of Sugar # 89

Dies ist meine erste Karte als Gastdesignerin für Whiff Of Joy. Gestern kam mein Paket mit den wunderbaren Stempeln aus der "City Girl" Kollektion an und es war wirklich hart sich zu entscheiden, welchen der Stempel ich als erstes verwende! Aber dann ist die Wahl auf "Shopping Willow" gefallen - einfach weil sie so schön typisch frau ist, die natürlich immer nur das nötigste kauft!

This is my very first card as a guest designer for Whiff Of Joy. My DT package arrived yesterday and it contained all the awesome stamps from the "City Girl" collection. I can tell you, it was so hard to decide which stamp to use first! But then I decided to go with "Shopping Willow" just because she is so girly, and of course only buying things absolutly necessary!

Ich habe Willow mit Copics coloriert und anschließend mit einer Schicht Glossy Accents überzogen, das verleiht dem Motiv so eine schöne Dreidimensionalität. Als Dekoration habe ich neben Blumen und Bordüre noch ein paar echte Kassenzettel eingescannt und verkleinert ausgedruckt. Anschließend habe ich sie mit Distress Inks etwas auf alt getrimmt. Der Barcode-Spruch ist ein Teil eines sehr alten Stampin´Up Stempelsets.

I colored Willow with Copics and covered her with a layer of Glossy Accents which adds a wonderful 3D effect. As a decoration I used - beside flowers and laces - some real recipes that I scanned and printed smaller than the original size. I then put some Distress Inks on them to make them match the color scheme on my card. The barcode saying is a part of a very old Stampin´Up stamp set.

A Tasty Read

Elisabeth Bell bringt heute ihren zweiten Digi Stamp heraus - und hat uns vom Belles´n´Whistles DT gefragt, ob wir zu diesem Anlaß nicht eine Karte machen möchten. Möchten? Aber klar, wer würde dieses traumhafte Motiv nicht gerne verwenden wollen?! Außerdem fühlen wir uns natürlich geehrt, eine der ersten sein zu dürfen, die dieses süße Motiv verwenden dürfen. Der Stempel heißt "A Tasty Read".

Stempeleinmaleins - Woche 11

Es ist wieder Stempeleinmaleins-Zeit - diesmal um einen Tag verschoben. Aber ab nächster Woche werden wir wieder ab Samstag für Euch da sein.
Diesmal starten wir mit unserer ersten Challenge, einem tollen Sketch von JayJay:

Zukünftig wird es dann jeden letzten Samstag einen Sketch geben, Ihr habe jeweils einen Monat Zeit, Eure Karten zu basteln. Und natürlich gibt es auch etwas zu gewinnen!

Ich habe die süße Cozy Tilda bereits im Dezember coloriert und damals noch meine Prismacolors verwendet. Die Pelzränder an Mütze und Muff sind mit Flowersoft bestreut, damit es auch schön kuschlig aussieht.

Außerdem paßt meine Karte zur neuen Challenge bei Stempelträume, deren Thema ist, etwas gestanztes zu verwenden. Ich sage nur Schneeflocken....

I colored this cute Cozy Tilda by Magnolia in december, using my Prismacolors then. The fur on her clothes is covered with flower soft to make it look warm and cozy.

Bei Just Magnolia ist das neue Thema "hearts and flowers". Es sollen, in irgendeiner Form, Herzen und Blumen auf der Karte zu finden sein.
Dutch Dare verlegt den "summer in winter" - und hätte gerne eine Sommerkarte, anbasteln gegen Schnee und Kälte.
Und dann ist da noch die Farbkombi von Color Create: Babyblau, Babyrose, Weiß und Silber. Ooops, irgendwie ist das Silber etwas untergegangen...

Das Neue, das dort jedes Mal verwendet werden soll, sind meine Copics - vor zwei Tagen kam ja ein neuer Schwung - sowie der Tagstanzer und der Blumenstanzer. Und wenn ich ganz ehrlich bin ist das Papier zwar nicht neu gekauft, aber der Block wurde noch nicht angebrochen - also auch neu.

The new you have to use there for each challenge, are my Copics - I got some new ones 2 days ago - and the tag punch and the flower punch. And to be honest - the paper stack isn´t newly bought but never ever used a sheet of it. So it´s new as well.

Und bei Cute Card Thursday heißt es diesmal "blooming georgeous" - also Blumen, Blumen, Blumen. Damit habe ich ja überhaupt keine Probleme!
Der Stempel ist von Magnolia, die Papiere von DCWV. Ich bin wieder ganz in die Vintage-Schiene geraten - nach den farbenfrohen Karten der letzten Tage mußte das sein. Die große Blüte habe ich aus der heutigen Zeitungsausgabe gestanzt (also ist es eigentlich doch auch neu, oder?LOL).

Ich habe "Surprise", einen Stempel aus der Sweet Things Kollektion von Belles´n´Whistles verwendet. Und der Name des Stempels paßt super zu der Karte, in der steckt nämlich auch eine kleine Überraschung:

Man nennt das eine "wiper card" - und die ist Thema für die neue Challenge bei Project Tuesday. Zuerst dachte ich, das ist bestimmt kompliziert, aber nein - es war total einfach! Sie haben auch einen Link zu einer tollen Anleitung gepostet - inklusive Video. Wenn man die flache Karte auseinander zieht, erscheint das kleine "Fähnchen".

This is called a "wiper card" - and it is the new challenge theme over at Project Tuesday. First I thought this would be very hard to do but I was wrong - it´s easy and fast to do! They also posted a link to a great tutorial - including video. If you pull the flat card the little wiper appears.

Die Papiere sind von Making Memories und 3 Bugs In A Rug. Zum Colorieren habe ich meine Copics verwendet. Hinter die Blumen habe ich Schnörkel aus Overhead-Folie gelegt, die ich mit weißer Tinte leicht betupft habe. Der Text ist von Stampin´Up.

Habe ich am Montag gesagt, daß wohl demnächst alle Bekannten Jungen bekommen werden, nur weil ich eine Mädchen-Karte gebatelt habe? Wie gut, daß bei Simon Says... das neue Thema "new baby" lautet! Jetzt habe ich nämlich vorgesorgt und auch noch eine Jungenkarte auf Lager!
Ich habe meine Karte nach diesem tollen Sketch von Gio gemacht, den sie für die neue Challenge bei Whiff Of Joy kreiert hat:

Bei Everybody Art gibt es diesmal eine Farbkombi: braun, blau und weiß.
Und außerdem paßt die Karte zum neuen Thema von A Spoon Full Of Sugar. Dieses lautet "freestyle" - und alles ist erlaubt, was gefällt.
Da es ja einen Jungenkarte ist, habe ich sie nicht so verspielt gestaltet. Den meisten Vätern wäre wohl sowieso eine Fußballkarte am liebsten, oder?LOL
Das Motiv ist aus der Babykollektion von Whiff Of Joy, die Papiere von DCWV. Zum Colorieren habe ich meine Copics verwendet. Halt, gelb? Sagtest Du nicht...? Ja, aber gestern kam ein Paket für mich und ich bin jetzt stolze Besitzerin aller 334 Farben! Naja, sechs werden noch nachgeliefert.

At Everybody Art they have a color combo picked for their new challenge: brown, blue and white.
My card also matches the new theme over at A Spoon Full Of Sugar which is "freestyle". You can do whatever you want to.
Since this is a boy card I didn´t use too many embellishments and papers and layers to keep it a bit more simple. I guess most fathers would prefer a soccer card tough.LOL
The image is from the baby collection by Whiff Of Joy, papers by DCWV. I used my Copics to color the image. Stop, yellow? Didn´t you say...? Yes, but yesterday I got a package in the mail and am now the proud owner of all 334 colors! Well, six of them are on backorder but I´ll get them soon.
The saying, the word on the tag, the tag punch and the little bird on the branch - a punch as well - are by Stampin´Up.

Sweet Stampin Challenge # 10 und Stamp With Fun # 43

Diese Karte habe ich für die neue Challenge bei Stamp With Fun gemacht. Das Thema lautet: Babykarte.
Der Sketch, den ich verwendet habe, ist der aktuelle Sketch bei Sweet Stampin Challenge:

Auf diesem Blog werden viele Stampin´Up Produkte verwendet. Aber es ist kein Muß - wenn Du aber etwas von SU verwendest, hast Du zwei Chancen auf den Gewinn. Ich habe zwar keinen Stempel, dafür aber den Herzchenstanzer und den Bordürenstanzer von SU verwendet.
Das Motiv ist von Hänglar, der Kalenderstempel von Inkadinkado und der Text von Studio G. Da ich momentan nicht wirklich eine Babykarte brauche, habe ich das Datum auf dem Kalender nur mit Bleistift eingekreist. Ich hoffe nur, daß dann nicht nur lauter Jungs im Bekanntenkreis geboren werden!LOL

On their blog they use a lot of Stampin´Up products. But you can also use other brands - if you use something SU you get two entries into the prize drawing. I didn´t use a SU stamp but the heart punch and the scalloped border punch by SU.
The image is by Hanglar, the calendar stamp by Inkadinkado and the saying by Studio G. I don´t really need a baby card at the moment so I used a pencil to mark the birth date to be able to erase it and set in the right date later. I only hope there won´t be only boys be born then!LOL

So, und nachdem ich es jetzt seit heute morgen für mich behalten habe möchte ich jetzt endlich mit Euch die tollen Neuigkeiten teilen, mit denen mein Tag begonnen hat:
Am Samstag endete auf Katharina´s Blog ja der Gast-Designteam Aufruf für Whiff Of Joy. Gleich heute morgen habe ich natürlich gleich nachgesehen, wer die glücklichen sind, die ausgewählt wurden. Ich konnte es kaum glauben, aber: Da war ein Bild meiner Karte dabei - und mein Name darunter! Hurra - ich habe die ganze Familie mit meinem Freudentanz aufgeweckt...LOL Ich darf also im Februar und März für Whiff Of Joy als Gastdesigner tätig sein - und freue mich total auf diese Zeit! Danke nochmal!!!

And last but not least and since I didn´t tell you about it since this morning I finally want to share the exciting news my day started with:
Saturday the guest DT call for Whiff Of Joy at Katharina´s blog ended. Early this morning when I woke up I checked her blog to see who are the lucky ones that were chosen and I couldn´t believe it: there was a picture of my card and my name was written under it! WooHoo - I woke up all the family while doing the happy dance...LOL I am so happy an proud to be one of their guest designers for february and march - and can´t wait to start. Thank you so much!

Roses on Paper # 30

Iris ist diese Woche an der Reihe, das Thema für die Challenge bei Roses On Paper zu wählen. Sie hat sich für das Thema "Valentinstag" entschieden - und sich einen wunderbaren Sketch ausgedacht, der optional dazu verwendet werden kann:

Also ehrlich: der Sketch ist genial und ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, daß jemand ihn NICHT verwenden möchte.

Honestly: this sketch is stunning and I can´t remember anyone out there DON´T wants to use it.

Ich habe "Sweet Love", einen Stempel aus der wunderschönen Valentins-Kollektion von Belles´n´Whistles verwendet und mich farblich an die klassischen Valentins-Farben gehalten, auch wenn sie etwas blasser ausgefallen sind. Coloriert habe ich mit Copics, die Papiere sind von DCWV, der Text von Stampin´Up.

I used "Sweet Love", one of the beautiful valentine´s stamps by Belles´n´Whistles, and used mainly the those classical valentine´s colors - even if they turned out a bit softer. I colored the image with my Copics, papers are by DCWV, saying by Stampin´Up.

"Matching Set", also ein Set aus zwei zusammenpassenden Dingen, ist da Thema, das Liza für die neue Challenge bei Cupcake Craft Challenges gewählt hat.

Ich habe nochmal eine Pizza-Box sowie eine dazugehörigen Tag gemacht. Das süße Motiv ist ein Digitalstempel von In Style Stamps, die uns diese Woche sponsoren und neben dem Preis - 4 Digi Stamps zur Wahl aus ihrem Shop - auch jedem DT Mitglied einen Stempel zur Verfügung gestellt haben.

I made another pizza box and a matching tag. The cute image is a digi stamp by In Style Stamps who are sponsoring this week´s challenge and not only the prize - which is 4 digi stamps of your choice from their shop - also gave one of their images to each DT member.

Sketchy Colors # 8 und Stempelträume # 15

Zu der Idee den Tag so zu platzieren habe ich mich von Anne Kristine, einem der DT-Mitglieder dort, inspirieren lassen.

I got inspired by Anne Kristine, one of their DT members, to place my tag like this.

Außerdem habe ich das Rezept von Stempelträume mit verarbeitet: Blumen, Perlen und Tiere.

I also followed the recipe over at Stempelträume: flowers, pearls and animals.

Das Motiv is von Sarah Kay/Stampavie. Die süße Katze ist mit Samtpuder überzogen. Dadurch, daß ich anschließend UTEE darüber gelegt habe, sieht man es aber nicht mehr so gut. Dafür kann man es immer noch fühlen!
Den Tag habe ich erst mit farblosem Embossingpulver und dem Schriften-Rollergraph-Stempel verziert und anschließend mit Distress Inks eingefärbt. Auch die Blumen und Spitzen haben ihre Ladung Distress Inks abbekommen. Die Papiere sind von DCWV.

The image is by Sarah Kay/Stampavie. The cute kitty is covered with velvet flock. But since I add a layer of UTEE later you can´t see it that good anymore. Therefor you still can feel it!
I stamped on the tag with this script Rollergraph stamp using clear embossing powder. Then I colored the tag with Distress Inks. Also the flowers and laces got some of this ink. The papers are by DCWV.

Saturday Spotlight # 15 und Sketch Saturday # 87

Ich habe mit meinen Mädels gerade Bastelnachmittag gemacht - sie haben Geburtstagskarten für ihre Freundin gemacht und ich die Karte, die Ihr oben sehen könnt. Dazu habe ich den aktuellen Sketch von Sketch Saturday verwendet:

Und das neue Thema bei Saturday Spotlight heißt "let the sunshine in". Und entstehen sollen - folgerichtig - sonnige Karten in Gelbtönen oder auch kräftigen Farben. Mein Gelb geht etwas ins Orange, was wohl hauptsächlich damit zu tun hat, daß ich keine gelben Copics habe. Häh? Ja, so ist das. Nur ganz wenige für blonde Haare - aber mehr sind unterwegs.LOL
Das Motiv ist von Sugar Nellie und gibt es etwas "sonnigeres" als die große gelbe - äh orangene - Blume? Der Text ist von Studio G, die Papiere von DCWV und K&Company.

And the new theme over at Saturday Spotlight is "let the sunshine in". We are asked to make - guessed right - sunny cards in mostly yellow tones or also bright colors. My yellow tends to be orange. The main reason therefor is for sure the fact that I don´t have any yellow Copics. What? Yes, it´s true. I only have a few ones to make blond hair - but more are on their way.LOL
The image is by Sugar Nellie and can there be anything that reminds us more of sun and spring/summer than this big yellow - sorry, orange flower? Saying is by Studio G, papers are by DCWV and K&Company.
