Today I want to share this birthday invitation with you.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich weißen Cardstock am Rand mit Washitape abgeklebt, um später einen weißen Rand zu erhalten. Dann habe ich mit einer gewellten Schablone und Distress Ink Scattered Straw den Hintergrund gewischt. Das sieht super aus, ist aber ganz einfach gemacht. Man beginnt oben und wischt die Farbe von der Schablone weg nach oben. Dann wird die Schablone weiter unten angesetzt und die Farbe wieder nach oben gewischt, so dass an der Kante der ersten Schablonenlinie kaum noch Farbe aufgetragen wird usw bis ganz nach unten.
Dann habe ich Sterne aus dem Stempelset Wünsch Dir Was in orange als Sternkonfetti auf den fertigen Hintergrund aufgestempelt.
Das Wort Einladung ist ausgestanzt.
For the background I've put Washi Tape around the edge of a piece of white cardstock to get a white frame later. Then I used a wavy stenci and Distress Ink Scattered Straw to create the background. It looks great but is so easy to make. Put your stencil at the top onto your paper and then apply the ink in an upwards move. Move the stencil down a bit and add more ink, applying the ink upwards again so that there's only a tad bit of ink close to the edge of the first stencil line and repeat until you reach the lower end of your paper.
Then I used some stars to add some orange star confetti to the card.
The die cut word on the bottom means invitation.
Das süße (Party-)Monster Lucky kam auch wieder zum Einsatz. Diesmal habe ich ihn in rot, orange und gelb coloriert.
This cute (party) monster is named Lucky. This time I've colored him in using red, orange and yellow.
Für die Ballons habe ich dieselben Farben verwendet, die Highlights sind wieder mit einem weißen Gelstift aufgetragen.
Die Ballonschnüre habe ich wieder abgeschnitten und durch weißes Garn ersetzt, das ich auf der Rückseite der Buchstaben festgeklebt habe. Dann habe ich die Buchstaben leicht überlappend auf die Karte geklebt und Lucky die Schnüre in die Hand gegeben.
For the balloons I used the same colors and added some highlights with a white gelly marker again.
Again I've cut off the balloon strings and replaced them with white twine that was attached to the back of the balloons. Then I've glued them onto the card and gave Lucky the strings to hold.
