Der Weihnachtsstern

Heute habe ich eine Weihnachtskarte für Euch - zwei Eisbären sehen staunend den Weihnachtsstern über den Himmel ziehen...

Today I have another christmas card to share - two ice bears stunningly looking the star of christmas passing by....

Für den Hintergrund habe ich Distress Oxide Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch und Black Soot nach unten heller werdend verwischt. Mit einem Pinsel und verdünnter Acrylfarbe habe ich die Sterne aufgespritzt.

Und ja, ich habe wieder die Reveal Wheel Stanze von LawnFawn benutzt. Diesmal mit dem Star Add-On. Die Konturen des Sterns habe ich aus silberfarbenem Glitzercardstock gestanzt - ebenso das Rad, an dem man dreht. Das habe ich dann aber noch modifiziert indem ich es mit Alkoholmarkern coloriert habe. Dazu sind mir meine Copics zu schade - ich habe hier die billigen von Action benutzt. Es bleibt doch immer Glitzer an der Spitze hängen und für das Colorieren von Glittercardstock ist die starre Spitze dieser Marker ganz gut geeignet.

For the background I've used Distress Oxide Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch and Black Soot and started dark on the top, getting lighter downwards. The stars were sprized on using a pencil and white acrylic paint thinned with a tad bit of water.

And yes, I've used the Reveal Wheel die by LawnFawn again. This time in combination with the Star Add-On. The outlines of the star were cut from silver glitter cardstock - so was the wheel. But the week was changed by coloring it with alcohol markers. My Copics are way too expensive for that so I've used some really cheep ones from a german Dollar-Store. There's still some glitter sticking to the tip of the marker and the ones I used have a small and quite hard tip which is great to color the glitter.

Und hier sind die beiden Eisbären, die gerade aus dem Staunen nicht mehr herauskommen. Sie sind aus dem Birthday Bears Set von MFT. Ich habe sie mit einer Kombination aus Copics und Polychromos coloriert und auf ein weißes Stück Cardstock geklebt, dessen oberes Ende ich wellenförmig zugeschnitten habe. Das habe ich dann mit 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt.

Die Eisberge im Hintergrund sind die Ice Bergs von MFT, die ich mit Copics bläulich eingefärbt bzw. coloriert habe.

Im Vordergrund habe ich das Wort JOY aus dem Filled with Joy Stanzenset von MFT, gestanzt aus blauem Cardstock, ebenfalls mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Mit einem weißen Gelmarker habe ich ein paar Highlights gesetzt und in das O ein Banner gesteckt, auf das ich den Rest des Textes gestempelt habe. 

And here are those two ice bears that are really astonished by seeing the star. They are from the Birthday Bears stamp set by MFT. I've colored them in with a Combination of Copics and Polychromos and then glued them to a strip of white cardstock. The top edge of this cardstock was cut in a wave shape. Then I've glued the cardstock with the bears to the background using dimensionals. 

The ice bergs are the Ice Berg dies by MFT that I've colored in light blue with my Copics.

To the big white space at the bottom of the card I've glued a die cut JOY from the Filled with Joy die set by MFT, cut from dark blue cardstock and glued down with dimensionals again. I've used a white gelly marker to add some highlights and tucked a banner under the O with the rest of my saying.

Der Weihnachtsstern auf meiner Karte wechselt einmal durch alle Regenbogenfarben. Wahrscheinlich sind die kleinen Eisbären deshalb so fasziniert!

The star on my card is going through all the colors of the rainbow. I guess that's why those ice bears are completly in aw.
