Weihnachtskarte mit Schneeflocken

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello everyone!
Today I want to share a CAS christmas card. I've put some light blue cardstock onto a white cardbase. On top of that I've added another white layer that I've decorated.

First I've stamped snowflakes onto the white cardstock using different tones of light blues. Then I've die cut the word FROHE - which means merry  in german - from this background and using the eclipse technique put the letters back in. Instead of an O I've used the Mini Circle Window Shaker and Frame die by MFT to turn the O into a shaker. To the top of the Shaker I've glued a ribbon with an bow from the Filled with Joy die set.
I've filled the shaker with white crystals and also put one of the beautiful stars by Scrapbook Forever into it. It was heat embossed with silver embossing powder and cut out by hand. And yes, next time before I take a picture I'll make sure that the crystals are all on the bottom of the shaker.
Since the card looked kind of plain to me I've added two circles with stars also heat embossing them in silver. Since I did that after the card was already put together I got two problems: 1. Due to the shaker I was only able to stamp parts of the circles but I like it that way since they would have been kind of too eye catching if fully stamped. And 2: Heat embossing with an already glued in shaker pouch isn't such a great idea. Since they are made from thin plastic the material started deforming due to the heat. I was able to avoid that once I realised it - but not without burning my fingers...
To the bottom of the text I've stamped a xmas to complete the saying and I've also added a few rhinestones to the card.
