Heute darf ich wieder eine Karte auf dem Stampcorner Blog zeigen - und entstanden ist dafür diese maritime "Liebeskarte".

Today it's my turn again to share a card over at the Stampcorner Blog - and this is the maritime love themed card I've made.
Die Szene ist mit Copics gestaltet - und ich wollte möglichst wenig Gedöns auf die Karte packen, damit nur die Szene wirkt. Selbst beim Text habe ich überlegt... Dann habe ich aber doch den Fühl Dich Gedrückt Text von Stampcorner silbern auf ein Banner aus Vellum embosst und auf die fertige Karte geklebt.
Basis ist hier eine weiße Grundkarte, auf die ich ein etwas kleineres Stück lilafarbenen Cardstock geklebt habe. Darauf kam die fertige Szene und darüber ein Rahmen aus weißem Cardstock. Das gefiel mir besser, als das Bild passend zuzuschneiden.
The scene is made with Copics - and I wanted as little else on the card as possible to not draw any attention away from it. At first I even wasn't sure about adding a saying. But then I've decided to silver heat emboss a "sending hugs" saying onto a banner cut from vellum and glue this on top of the finished card.
For the base I've picked a white notecard here, glued a slightly smaller piece of purple cardstock on top and then added the finished scene. On top of that I've added a frame cut from white cardstock. I like the frame better than cutting the scene to the size needed.
Und hier sind die kuschelnden Wale. Ich habe dafür den Stempel Wal mit Baby von Stampcorner verwendet. Rabiat wie ich bin, habe ich den Stempel auseinander geschnitten, so dass ich die Wale anders positionieren konnte - eigentlich schwimmt der kleinere in anderer Richtung unterhalb der Mutter. Ich habe sie übereinander maskiert und dann zu den Copics gegriffen. Für die Wale habe ich BV29, BV25, BV23, BV20 sowie N5, N3 und N1 verwendet. Das Wasser ist mit B97, B95, B93, B91 und B00 gemacht. Das Herz ist per Hand dazugemalt und mit R59, R29, R14 und R12 coloriert. Die Highlights sind mit einem weißen Gelmarker gemacht.
Für den Himmel habe ich mit der Cloud Stencil von MFT und Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass zwei Wolkenreihen über dem Wasser aufgewischt.
And here are the cuddling whales. I've used a stamp by Stampcorner here. Bad as I am I've cut the stamp apart, originally the small one is swimming under his mother, in the other direction. Now I was able to position them differently. I've masked them on top of each other and then grabbed my Copics. For the whales I've used BV29, BV25, BV23, BV20 as well as N5, N3 and N1. The water was made with B97, B95, B93, B91 and B00. The heart is added by hand and colored with R59, R29, R14 and R12. The highlights are made with a white gelly marker.
For the sky I've used the Clouds stencil by MFT and Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass to create two rows of clouds above the water.
