Und weiter geht es mit der Geburtstagsparty beim Stempeleinmaleins. Und natürlich möchten wir Euch auch heute den eigentlich am letzten Samstag im Monat fälligen Sketch nicht vorenthalten. Den haben wir diesmal im Slimline Format erstellt. Die Slimline Karte haben wir Euch ja heute genau vorgestellt - und der Sketch ist ja vielleicht ein Anreiz, diese Kartenart gleich mal auszuprobieren.

And we're continueing our Stempeleinmaleins birthday party. Of course we don't want to end this day without the sketch that we usually post on each last saturday of the month. This time we've made a slimline sketch. We've explained all there is to know about slimline cards earlier today - and maybe this sketch is what you need to give this type of card a try.
Und natürlich habe ich auch diese Karte passend zum Thema Party dekoriert.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich weißen Cardstock mit Distress Oxide Pumice Stone und Hickory Smoke sowie einem Brick Stencil von MFT wie eine Mauer gestaltet. Darauf kamen dann partytauglich dekorierte Fenster.
And of course I've also used our party theme for this card.
For the background I've inked up a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Pumice Stone and Hickory Smoke, using a brick stencil by MFT to create a brick pattern. On top of this "wall" I've then glued some windows, decorated for a party.
Ich habe alle Fenster in 3D gestaltet. Dafür habe ich aus dem Mauerhintergrund drei Quadrate ausgestanzt und dahinter direkt auf den Kartenrohling ganz dezent gemustertes Designpapier in Naturtönen aufgeklebt. Darauf kamen dann die Vorhänge, gestanzt aus hellbraunem Designpapier mit weißen Punkten, die ich mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt habe. Darüber kam dann der Mauerhintergrund, diesmal mit doppelt so dickem 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Und dann kam der Fensterrahmen sowie die Fensterläden. Die habe ich aus Designpapier mit einem wunderbar shabby aussehendem Holzdruck gestanzt. Für die Fenster habe ich eine Stanze aus dem Slim Window Dressing Stanzenset von Mame Elephant verwendet. Fensterläden sind da eigentlich nicht enthalten - aber ich habe kurzerhand den Blumenkasten genommen und beim Aufkleben auf die innere Seite dünnes, auf die äußere dickes 3D Tape aufgebracht. So stehen sie ein wenig schräg auf der Karte und so passt auch die Perspektive wieder. Dann habe ich noch jeweils ein kleines, aus weißem Cardstock gestanztes Herz auf die Fensterläden aufgeklebt.
Für diese Karte habe ich zu MFT-Stempeln gegriffen. Im oberen Fenster hängt eine Partygirlande aus dem Kissing Booth Stempelset, auf dem Fensterbrett steht bereits das erste Geschenk. Das ist aus dem Set Birth-YAY.
I've created all the windows in a 3D look. I've die cut three squares from the brick background and glued some designer's paper with a very subtle print in light colors onto the card base so they can be seen through the cut outs. Then I've added the curtains, die cut from a light brown designer's paper with small white dots, using thin foam pads. Next I've glued down the brick background with some foam pads double the thickness of the ones for the curtains. And then I've added the window and the shutters. I've die cut those from a blue and brown designer's paper with a wonderful shabby looking wood pattern. For the window I've used dies from the Slim Window Dressing die set by Mama Elephant. Well, there aren't any shutters included. So I've simply used the flowers box die, turned it and used it as shutters. I've added some thin foam pads to the inner edge, the one closer to the window frame, and thicker ones on the outside to glue the "shutters" down. That way they aren't glued down flat - and the perspective is right again. I've also glued a small heart, die cut from white cardstock, on each of the shutters.
For this card I've used some MFT stamps. In the top window someone hung up a party banner from the Kissing Booth stamp set, on the window sill the first present is already waiting. This one is from the Birth-YAY stamp set.
Die anderen beiden Fenster sind identisch gearbeitet.
Im mittleren Fenster hängt ebenfalls eine Partygirlande. Außerdem steht dort eine leckere Geburtstagstorte bereit. Auch die ist aus dem Birth-YAY Stempelset.
Zwischen die Fenster habe ich zwei Texte von SU angebracht, die ich weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst habe.

In the middle window there's again a party banner. And there is a yummy looking cake in this window. Also this one is from the Birth-YAY stamp set.
Between the windows I've added two banners with birthday greetings. Those are by SU and white heat embossed onto small strips of black cardstock.
Beim unteren Fenster hängt die Partygirlande am Blumenkasten, den ich hier angebracht habe. Hier seht Ihr, dass er die selbe Form wie die Fensterläden hat. Die Pflanzen darin haben eigentlich Blüten - unter anderem Tulpen. Da die jetzt nicht so toll in die Jahreszeit passen, habe ich die einfach weggeschnitten und nur die Blätter stehen lassen. Die Partygirlande hier ist aus dem Up in the Air Stempelset. Außerdem habe ich hier am Blumenkasten auch noch zwei Luftballons aus dem Stempelset Better Together angebunden.
For the lowest window I've done some changes. I've hung up the party banner onto the flowers box that I've added here. Here you can see that it's the same shape of the shutters. The plants in the flower box are originally flowers - some of them tulips. Since those really don't fit into this time of year I've simply cut off the stems and blossoms, only using the leaves here. This party banner is from the Up in the Air stamp set. And I've also tied two balloons from the Better Together stamp set to the flower box.
Und hier habe ich noch ein Bild, auf dem man den dreidimensionalen Aufbau der Karte besser sehen kann. Ich finde, so sieht es viel schöner aus als "nur" flach.
And this picture was taken from an angle to show you the dimension a it better. I think it looks so much better this way than just on a one-layer card.
