Manche glauben ja, Jahrestage zu feiern ist etwas für Teenies. Aber es gibt Paare, die das selbst nach vielen Jahren noch tun. Und eine Karte für solch ein Paar zeige ich heute auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog.

Some think celebrating your anniversary is only for teens. But there are couples that celebrate theirs even after many years. And a card for one of those couples is what I'm sharing over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog today.
Kennt Ihr das - manchmal seht Ihr ein altes Ehepaar und sie gehen so liebevoll miteinander um, dass Ihr einfach lächeln müsst. So geht es mir mit diesen beiden knuffigen Alten aus dem Stempelset Old Friends von MFT. Und sie sind für diese Jahrestagskarte einfach perfekt. Naja, und wenn wir schon bei Klischees sind, dachte ich, ich greife in die Vollen. Und so stehen die beiden nun händchenhaltend im Garten vor ihrem Häuschen. Für das Haus habe ich eine Halloweenstanze verwendet: das Haunted House von MFT. In hellen Farben gestanzt sieht es wie ein gemütliches kleines Häuschen aus. In die Fenster habe ich rot-weiß karierte Designpapierstreifen als Vorhänge gehängt. Und auch der Baum ist aus diesem Set. Ich habe einfach mit den Puffy Clouds und den Petite Clouds kleine Wolken ausgestanzt und die in den nackten Baum geklebt.
Am Himmel befinden sich Wolken, aber wie im Leben braucht es manchmal einen Sturm um die wirklich schönen Dinge entstehen zu lassen. Passend zum Text aus dem Stempelset Rainbow Greetings habe ich am Himmel noch einen Regenbogen aufgeklebt. Dafür habe ich die Once Upon a Rainbow Stanze von MFT benutzt. Es ist doch schön, wenn man nach so vielen Jahren noch sagen kann, dass der Partner das Leben immer noch mit Regenbögen füllt.
Das Gras habe ich mit zwei verschiedenen Stanzen gemacht. Im Hintergrund klebt eine Lage, gestanzt mit der Tucked in Turf Horizontal Stanze, vor dem Haus eine weitere, für die ich eine der Slimline Grassy Hills Stanzen benutzt habe.
Do you know those moments - you see an elderly couple and they are treating each other with so much love that you have to smile. That's what I think about those two beautiful old people from the Old Friends stamp set by MFT. And they are perfect for this anniversary card. Oh well, and since we are already talking clichè I've decided to stick with it. And so they are standing in front of their little cottage, holding hands. For the house I've used a Halloween die: the Hounted House by MFT. Die cut from light colored cardstock it makes a nice little cottage. I've put some red and white checked designer's paper behind the windows as curtains. And also the tree is from this set. I've simply die cut some clouds with the Puffy Clouds and the Petite Clouds die sets from green cardstock and glued them between the bare branches.
In the sky there are some clouds but like in real life sometimes you need a storm to make room for the really nice things. Matching the text from the Rainbow Greetings stamp set I've glued a rainbow to the sky as well. I've used the Once Upon a Rainow die here. And isn't it the best when you can say that your significant other still fills your life with rainbows?
The grass is made with two different dies. In the background I've glued the Tucked in Turf Horizontal, cut from green cardstock, and in front of the house there's a layer of grass cut with one of the Slimline Grassy Hills dies.
Und hier sind die beiden in Nahaufnahme. Die möchte man am liebsten ganz fest knuddeln. Ich habe sie mit Copics coloriert, ausgeschnitten und auf die Karte geklebt. Und weil ich mir dachte, die haben bestimmt eine Katze, durfte auch die noch mit auf die Karte. Sie ist aus dem Stempelset Our Story.
And here are those two as a close up. I really want to go see them and hug them tightly. They are colored with Copics, cut out and glued onto the card. And I thought, those two for sure have a pet and so I've added a little cat from the Our Story stamp set.
