Heute zeige ich Euch den Dezember Special Stempel des gestrigen Tages - da war der Blog leider schon verplant. Deswegen kriegt Ihr diesen süßen Bären aus der Feder von Oma Plott erst heute hier zu sehen.

Today I am sharing with you yesterday's december special stamp - I already had a post planned so you get to see the cute bear designed by Oma Plott today.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich endlich meine Distress Mica Stains verwendet. Von denen habe ich vor kurzem endlich Swatches gemacht und jetzt weiß ich auch, was zusammenpasse. Ich habe hier zuerst ein Stück Watercolor Cardstock mit etwas Wasser besprüht und dann in die Mitte des Cardstocks Wonderland, am Rand Shiny Bauble aufgespritzt. Die einzelnen Lagen habe ich dann immer trocken gefönt. Ich habe dann jeweils noch ein wenig beider Farben pur aufgespritzt und nachdem auch diese Lagen trocken waren, habe ich nur am Rand noch ein wenig Juniperberry aufgetragen. 

Mit einem Schneeflockenrahmen-Embossingfolder von Darice habe ich dann die Schneeflocken ins Papier geprägt und weil es ja noch nicht schimmrig genug war, auf die geprägten Schneeflocken noch ein wenig weißes Gilding Wax aufgetragen. Außerdem habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe auf den  Cardstock gespritzt.

For the background I finally used my Distress Mica Stains. I just recently swatched them and now I finally know, what goes with what. Here I first misted a piece of watercolor cardstock with water, then spritzed Wonderland onto the center of the cardstock and Shiny Bauble around the edges. I dried the sprays with my heat gun inbetween the layers. I added a bit of both colors without water and, after they had dried, added a bit of Juniperberry just to the edges. 

I used a snowflake frame embossingfolder by Darice to dry emboss the snowflakes into the cardstock and, since the card wouldn't be shimmery enough already, added a bit of a white gilding wax onto the embossed snowflakes. I also flicked some white acrylic paint onto it.

Hier ist der süße Bär aus dem Stempelset. Ich habe ihn nur ganz leicht mit Copics schattiert. Dem Schal habe ich zudem mit einem silbernem und einem weißen Gelstift dekorative Streifen verpasst. Dann habe ich das Motiv ausgeschnitten.

Mit dem Bären kommen einige Schneeflocken und auch ein "mir ist kalt" Text. Der Text wäre für mich perfekt, denn ich glaube, mindestens jeder 10. Satz von mir lautet so. Hier aber habe ich mich für ein ausgestanztes Winterzauber entschieden - das passt so schön zum Hintergrund. Ich habe es viermal aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und die Teile aufeinander geklebt. Dann habe ich auch diesem Wort mit dem weißen Gilding Wax einen leichten Schimmer verpasst.

Hinter dem Bären habe ich noch zwei aus weißem Cardstock gestanzte Tannen aufgeklebt. Außerdem habe ich einige kleine Schneeflockenaus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und rund um den Bären verteilt. Eine der Schneeflocken habe ich mit türkisfarbenem Gilding Wax betupft und auf den I-Punkt des Wortes Winterzauber geklebt. In die Mitte jeder Schneeflocke habe ich einen winzigen klaren Glitzerstein gesetzt.

Here's the cute bear from the stamp set. I just shaded him lightly with my Copics. With a silver and a white gel pen I added a few stripes to the scarf. Then I cut the image out.

There are a few snowflakes and a "I am freezin'" text coming in the set with the bear. This text is perfect for me, because I am sure, that's what I say at least every 10 sentences. But here I went with a die cut "winter wonderland" - it goes so wonderfully with the background. I die cut it four times from white cardstock and stacked the words. Then I dabbed a bit of the white gilding wax onto the text to give it a light shimmer.

Behind the bear I placed two firs, die cut from white cardstock. I also die cut a few small snowflakes and placed them around the image. Onto one of the snowflakes I dabbed a bit of a turquoise gilding wax and put it on top of the tittle of the i. Into the center of each snowflake I placed a tiny clear rhinestone.

Hier habe ich versucht, den tollen Schimmer des Hintergrunds ein wenig einzufangen, aber das ist echt schwer....

Ich habe noch einige klare Glitzersteine auf der Karte verteilt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I added a few clear rhinestones to my card and then attached the cardstock to a white note card.
