Ich hatte sie ja bereits angekündigt: eine zweite Karte mit einer Kombi aus dem Rainbow Slice Tunnel Stanzenset von Spellbinders und dem Roarsome Rex Set von WhimsyStamps. Und hier ist sie.

I already said it would be coming: a second card with a combination of the Rainbow Slice Tunnel dies by Spellbinders and the Roarsome Rex set by WhimsyStamps. And here it is.
Das passt doch auch super, oder? Und selbst jetzt im Nachhinein könnte ich nicht sagen, welche der beiden Karten mir besser gefallen.
Hier habe ich die Rainbow Slices aus Cardstock im Farbverlauf von dunkelrot zu gelb gestanzt. Dabei bildet dunkelrot die oberste, gelb die unterste Lage.
Auf die dunkelrote oberste Lage habe ich dann mit weißem Embossingpulver den WTF?! Background aufembosst und den Rand des Cardstocks mit Black Soot abgedunkelt.
Don't you agree that even this dino goes perfectly with the rainbow slices? And even now, a bit later, I still couldn't pick one card that I liked better than the other one.
Here I die cut the rainbow slices from cardstock in a gradient from dark red to yellow. The dark red is the top layer, the yellow one the bottom layer.
Onto the dark red top layer I white heat embossed the WTF?! Background and inked the edges with Black Soot.
Diesmal habe ich den Dino in grau-braun coloriert und auch hier wieder ein paar rote Akzente gesetzt. Und wieder habe ich die Augen mit Glossy Accents überzogen.
Hier schaut der Dino seitlich aus dem Schlitz. Ich habe ihn hinter die zweite Lage geschoben und den Kopf auf der anderen Seite oben auf die oberste Lage geklebt.
Hinter dem Dino befindet sich eine Comic-Blase mit einem ausgestanzten WTF?! darin. Die ist aus schwarzem Cardstock mit einer Stanze aus dem Slim Comic Strip von MamaElephant gemacht. Ich habe die ausgestanzten Buchstaben rot hinterlegt und dann eine weitere Comic Blase aus weißem Cardstock etwas versetzt dahinter geklebt.
Außerdem habe ich noch ein paar gelbe Blitze, die ich ebenfalls weiß hinterlegt habe, rund um den Kopf des Dino verteilt. Der scheint aber wirklich sauer zu sein!
This time I colored the dino in a grey-ish brown and again added some red accents. And again I covered the eyes with Glossy Accents.
The dinosaur is peaking out from the side of the slits here. I tucked him behind the second top layer, the mouth I put on top of the top layer.
Behind the dino there's a comic bubble with a cut out WTF?!. It's made from black cardstock using a die from the Slim Comic Strip set by MamaElephant. I put some red cardstock behind the cut out letters, then added a white shadow layer behind the bubble.
I also glued a few flashes, cut from yellow cardstock and again with a white shadow behind them, around the dino's head. He really seems to be pissed!
Sieht man den Text auf der Karte, dann wird auch klar, warum der Dino so sauer ist. Da hat ihn doch glatt jemand als alt bezeichnet!
Der Textteil "did you say" ist mit Stempeln von LawnFawn gemacht und weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Das Wort Old!? habe ich mit dem Wedding Alphabet von XCut gemacht. Ich habe jeden Buchstaben einmal aus schwarzem Cardstock und einmal aus grau-braunem Shimmer Cardstock gestanzt und beide leicht versetzt aufeinander geklebt. In dem Set ist zwar ein Ausrufe-, aber kein Fragezeichen enthalten. Also habe ich eine Zwei ausgestanzt, den unteren Teil weggeschnitten und dort nochmal den Punkt des Ausrufezeichens aufgeklebt.
Entlang der unteren Kante der Karte habe ich Flammen aus gelbem, orangefarbenem und rotem Cardstock aufgeklebt. Die habe ich außerdem mit Stickles beglittert und dann die Buchstaben des Wortes Old zwischen die Flammen geschoben. Es sieht fast ein wenig so aus, als käme der Dino direkt aus dem Erdinneren, hinter ihm sieht man die Lava. Und so fand ich, dass Flammen gut passen. Außerdem passt das Feuer doch gut zur erhitzten Stimmung des Dinos.
When you read the text on the card it is obvious, why this dino is so angry. Someone dared to call him old!
The text part "did you say" is made using stamps by LawnFawn and white heat embossed onto black cardstock. The word Old!? I die cut from blak cardstock and grey-ish brown shimmer cardstock using the Wedding Alphabet set by XCut. Then I stacked them a bit offset. There's an exclamation- but no question mark in this die set. So I simply cut a "2", cut off the bottom and placed the dot from the exclamation mark under it.
Along the bottom edge of the cardstock I placed flames, cut from yellow, orange and red cardstock. I glittered them with Stickles, then put the letters of the word old between the flames. It kind of looks like this dinosaur comes right from the core of earth, you can see the lava behind him. And so I thought, those flames would work great - also with the heated up mood of this dino.
Auch hier habe ich wieder einen dünnen Rahmen aus schwarzem Cardstock mit meinem Cutter zugeschitten und als Abschluss oben auf die Karte geklebt. Dann habe ich den Kartenaufleger schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
Again I used my cutter to cut a thin frame from black cardstock and used it as the top layer on my card panel. I matted it black and adhered it to a white card base.
