Hallo Ihr Lieben!
Momentan sieht man immer wieder Karten rund ums Thema Schule, viele von ihnen mit Stiften. Und das hat mich inspiriert. Da ich keine Schulkarte brauche, habe ich stattdessen diese Freundschaftskarte gemacht.

You see quite some back to school or teacher's cards lately, many of them with pencils. I really got inspired by those. Since I don't need any of those school related cards, I made this friendship card instead.
Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück craft farbenen Cardstocks, auf den ich mit Versafine Clair Sand Dune den Best Friend Background von MFT aufgestempelt habe. Dann habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.
The background is made from a piece of kraft colored cardstock, that I stamped the Best Friends Background by MFT onto using Versafine Clair Sand Dune ink. Then I added splatters of white acrylic paint.
Die Stifte sind aus dem Brilliant Day Stempelset von HoneyBeeStamps. Ich habe sie mit Copics in Regenbogenfarben coloriert und dann ausgeschnitten.
Da ich ein Element komplett über die Karte legen wollte, habe ich den Regenbogen aus dem Array of Rainbows Set von WhimsyStamps aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und die Teile mit den selben Farbkombis, die ich auch für die Stifte verwendet habe, coloriert. Dabei habe ich die Regenbögenteile unten dunkel und nach oben hin heller werdend coloriert. Und weil für orange kein Platz war, habe ich den roten Bogen oben ins orange übergehen lassen, beim gelben befindet sich ganz unten ein klein wenig orange.
Den kompletten Regenbogen habe ich dann mit dem Glitter-Gel von LawnFawn überzogen.
Den Haupttext der Karte habe ich direkt über den Stiften angebracht. Das Wort Thank habe ich mit dem Lined Letters Stempelset von MFT gemacht. Ich habe die Buchstaben mit weißem Embossingpulver auf craft farbenen Cardstock embosst und sie einzeln ausgeschnitten. Das Wort you habe ich mit der Thank You Stanze von MFT gestanzt - ich habe es aus weißem Schimmer-Cardstock (den kann man auf dem Bild leider nicht sehen) viermal ausgestanzt und die Teile aufeinander geklebt.
The pencils are from the Brilliant Day stamp set by HoneyBeeStamps. I colored them in rainbow order using Copics and then cut them out.
I wanted to put an element all across my card, so I die cut the rainbow from the Array of Rainbows set by WhimsyStamps from white cardstock and used the same Copic colors, that I had used to color the pencils, to color the rainbow pieces. I did them dark at the bottom and lighter at the top. And since there were only five rainbow pieces, I skipped an entire orange one and instead let the red one fade into orange at the top, at the bottom of the yellow one I put a bit of orange.
I covered the whole rainbow with the glitter gel by LawnFawn.
The main text of my card I placed directly above the pencils. I created the word thank with the Lined Letters stamp set by MFT, white heat embossing the letters onto kraft colored cardstock, then cut them out individually. The word you I made with the Thank You die by MFT - I die cut it four times from white shimmer cardstock (sadly you can't see the shimmer on the pictures) and stacked the pieces.

Oben, wo der Regenbogen ausläuft, habe ich noch einen kleinen Text aufgeklebt. Der ist mit Stempeln aus den Sets One in Chameleon Flip-Flop von LawnFawn (color) und dem Color my World Set von SunnyStudioStamps gemacht. Ich habe in mit der Sand Dune Ink auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt, so passt er perfekt zum Hintergrund und sticht außerdem nicht so sehr hervor.
At the top edge, where the rainbow fades out, I added a smaller text. I put it together using stamps from the One in A Chameleon Flip-Flop set by LawnFawn (color) and the Color my World set by Sunny StudioStamps and stamped with the Sand Dune ink onto white cardstock. This way it goes perfectly with the background and also doesn't stand out that much.
Beim Zusammensetzen der Karte habe ich hinter den kleinen Textstreifen und die gestempelten Buchstaben dünnes, hinter das gestanzte Wort you und die Stifte dickes 3D Tape gesetzt. Dann habe ich als Deko einige weiß-holographische Perlen aufgeklebt und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
When putting the card together I put thin foam tape behind the small text strip and the stamped letters, behind the die cut word you and the pencils I put thick foam tape. Then I added a few white holographic pearls as decoration and glued my card panel to a white note card.
