Auf dem Stampcorner Blog zeige ich Euch heute diese Karte mit dem kleinen Esel aus dem Stempelset Leo aus dem August-Release.

Over on the Stampcorner Blog I am sharing this card today, using the little donkey from the Leo stamp set from the august release.
Bei dieser Karte wurde ich ganz stark von einem Boho-Bild mit Mond inspiriert, das ich kurz vor dem Werkeln der Karte gesehen habe.
Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück dunkelblauen Cardstocks. Den wollte ich ein wenig interessanter gestalten, einen passenden Embossingfolder habe ich aber nicht gefunde. Also habe ich die Dotted Swirls Stanze von Altenew genommen und das Muster hineingeprägt.
Before I made this card I saw a boho style picture of a moon, that really inspired me here.
The background I made from a piece of dark blue cardstock. I wanted to make a bit more interesting but didn't finde an embossing folder in my stash, that I thought will fit. So I brought out the Dotted Swirls die by Altenew and cut the pattern into the cardstock.
Für den verträumten Look, der mir vorschwebte, wollte ich unbedingt Schimmer auf die Karte bringen. Also habe ich meine Nuvo Shimmer Powders in den Farben Sunray Crossette, Lilac Waterfall, Violet Brocade, Storm Cloud und Ivory Willow hervorgeholt. Ich habe jeweils etwas von dem Pulver mit Wasser auf eine Craft Mat angerührt und alle Teile dann mit einem Mix der Farben betupft.
Alle Elemente für den Mond samt Deko habe ich aus Watercolor Cardstock gestanzt. Für den Mond habe ich eine Stanze von MFT genommen - man kann ihn aber ganz einfach auch mit Kreisstanzen selbst machen. Und dann habe ich einen Mix aus Blüten und Zweigen aus dem Rainbow Slice Tunnel Set von Spellbinders hervorgeholt - aber solche Stanzen haben wir wohl alle ausreichend in unserem Bastelreich.
Etwas von dem Sunray Crossette, das ich angemischt noch übrig hatte, habe ich dann auch verwendet, um einige Spritzer auf dem Hintergrund aufzutragen.
For the dreamy look, that I wanted for my card, I really wanted to add shimmer to the card. So I brought out my Nuvo Shimmer Powders in the colors Sunray Crossette, Lilac Waterfall, Violet Brocade, Storm Cloud and Ivory Willow. I put a bit of each powder onto a craft mat, mixed it with water and then dyed all die cuts with a mix of those colors.
I die cut all elementes for the moon including the decorations from watercolor cardstock. For the moon I used a die but MFT, but of course you can also use circle dies to create your own. And then I die cut mix of flowers and twigs from the Rainbow Slice Tunnel die set by Spellbinders - and I am sure we all have plenty of dies like that in our stash.
I used some of the left over Sunray Crossette, that I had already mixed with water, to add some gold splatter to the background.
Den süßen kleinen Esel habe ich dann mit Copics coloriert und ihn dabei farblich so gut es ging an die Blumen und Zweige angepasst. Anschließend habe ich Highlights mit einem weißen Gelstift hinzugefügt, den Esel ausgeschnitten und auf den Mond gesetzt.
I used Copics to color the cute little donkey, trying to match him as much as possible with the color of the flowers and twigs. Then I added highlights with a white gel pen, cut the donkey out and placed him on the moon.
Bei meinem Text war ich dann erst ein wenig überfordert, habe mich dann aber für ein einfaches "dream" entschieden.
Die Buchstaben habe ich mit dem Handletter Alphabet Lowercase Stanzenset von CraftEmotions gemacht - einmal aus cremefarbenem und einmal aus lilafarbenem Cardstock. Die Highlights hier habe ich diesmal mit einem goldenen Gelstift gemacht.
I really wasn't sure which text I wanted to add, but then went with a simple "dream".
I die cut the letters once from cream and once from lilac cardstock using the Handletter Alphabet Lowercase die set by CraftEmostion. For the highlights I used a gold gel pen.
Nach dem Zusammensetzen von Mond und Blumen habe ich dickes 3D Tape verwendet, um ihn auf dem Hintergrund aufzukleben.
Und weil alles noch etwas fad aussah, habe ich aus hell-goldenem Schimmer-Cardstock mit einer der Stanzen aus dem Full Moon Stanzenset von LawnFawn noch kleine Sterne ausgestanzt und auf der Karte verteilt. Vielleicht sind es mehr als nur ein paar geworden, aber mir gefällt es so.
Dann habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohing geklebt.
After putting the moon and flowers together I backed it with thick foam tape and adhered it to the background.
The card still was missing something. So I used dies from the Full Moon die set by LawnFawn to die cut a few stars from light gold shimmer cardstock and added that to the card. Well, maybe I added a bit more than just a few but I like it that way.
Then I adhered the card panel to a white note card.
