Bei dieser Karte, die ich heute auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog zeige, habe ich mal eine - für mich - neue Kartenart ausprobiert: eine Vertical Easel Card. Bis ich ein Layout im Kopf hatte, hat es ein wenig gedauert, aber dann fand ich die Art doch toll.

With this card, that I'm sharing over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog today, I've tried a new - to me - type of card: a Vertical Easel Card. It took some time until I had a layout in mind but then I really thought this is a cool type of card.

 

Ich habe meine Karte aus blau-grauem Cardstock gewerkelt. Auf die Front kam eine Lage weißen Cardstocks, den ich mit der Cloud Stencil und Distress Oxide Broken China mit Wolken versehen habe. Darauf kamen dann Birkenstämmt, gemacht mit der Birch Tree Stanze von MFT.

Im unteren Bereich habe ich einen Grashügel aufgeklebt. Den habe ich mit einer der Stanzen aus dem Mushroom Border Stanzenset von LawnFawn aus hellgrünem Papier ausgestanzt.

Quer über den Grashügel habe ich dann einen der Texte aus dem Stempelset Hug it Out von MFT aufgeklebt.

 

I've made my card base from a grey-ish blue cardstock. Onto the front I've glued  a piece of white cardstock to which I've added some clouds using the Cloud Stencil by MFT and Distress Oxide Broken China. On top I've glued a few of the Birch Trees by MFT.

The grassy hill is die cut from a soft green cardstock with one of the dies from the Mushroom Border die set by LawnFawn. 

Across the hill I've glued one of the sayings from the Hug it Out stamp set by MFT.

In der Mitte befindet sich ein weiteres Stück Cardstock.

Ich habe hier die Wolken und den Hügel so aufgewischt-/geklebt, dass die Muster mit dem auf dem Cardstock auf der Kartenfront fortlaufend ist. Dann habe ich auch hier ein paar Birkenstämme aufgeklebt und zwar so, dass sie mit den Birken auf dem Kartenhintergrund übereinstimmen. So halbe Bäume hätten komisch ausgesehen.

Das süße Motiv ist ebenfalls aus dem Stempelset Hug it Out. Ich habe es mit Copics coloriert, ausgeschnitten und hinter den Grashügel geklebt.

Als Deko habe ich hier dann noch drei Sprechblasen mit Herz, gemacht mit den Heart Speech Bubbles Stanzen von MFT aufgeklebt. 

Und weil der Hügel fast ein wenig kahl wirkte, habe ich einen weiteren Text(teil) aus diesem Stempelset darauf aufgeklebt.

In the middle there's another piece of cardstock.

Again I've added some clouds and the grassy hill, making sure to place them in the same spot as they are on the card base. Then I've added some birch trees here as well, also making sure the trees continue on the card base. Half trees would have looked strange.

The cute image is also from the Hug it Out stamp set. I've colored it with Copics, cut it out and glued it behind the hill.

I've decorated this panel with three of the Heart Speech Bubbles by MFT.

And since the hill was pretty high and looked a bit plain here I've added another text - or better part of a text - from the same stamp set.

Und hier könnt Ihr nun sehen, wie diese Karte aufgestellt aussieht. Die Kartenfront stellt sich zur Seite auf, das Cardstockstück mit dem Motiv sowie der Text darunter bleiben stehen.

Um die rechte Kante der Karte so fixieren zu können, dass die Karte stehenbleibt, habe ich auf der Innenseite der Karte ein weitere kleines Herz mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt, unter dem die Kante eingeklemmt werden kann. Die Heart Speech Bubble Stanze stanzt vier Sprechblasen mit Herz. Da ich nur drei für mein Motiv verwendet habe, habe ich das vierte Herz für den Stopper verwendet.

And here you can see what this card looks like standing. The card front moves to the left, creating a triangle shape, the decorated piece of cardstock and the text under it stay in a "flat" position.

To be able to fix the right edge of the card so the card stays folded up I've glued another small heart as a stopper to the inside of the card under which I can tuck this edge of the card. The Heart Speech Bubble die cuts four speech bubbles. Since I only used three of them around my image I've simply used the heart from the fourth as the stopper.

Beim Stempeleinmaleins zeigen wir Euch heute eine Matchbox mit besonderem Innenleben - und die ist perfekt für eine Valentinstagsüberraschung.

Over at Stempeleinmaleins we are sharing a matchbox with a special inside today - and that's perfect as a little Valentine's gift. 

Ich habe den äußeren Teil meiner Matchbox aus blauem Designpapier mit glänzenden, hellbraunen Herzen gemacht. Passend dazu habe ich die Schublade dann aus kraftfarbenem Cardstock gewerkelt. 

I've made the outer part of my matchbox from a dark blue designer's paper with shiny light brown hearts. Matching those I've picked a craft colored cardstock for the drawer of my box.

Ich wollte das schöne Papier nicht komplett abdecken, brauchte aber Platz für meinen Text und ein Motiv. Deswegen haben ich den tollen Spruch von CraftEmotions mit goldenem Embossingpulver auf Vellum embosst, das rechteckig ausgeschnitten und oben auf die Box geklebt. So kann man die braunen Herzen darunter zumindest teilweise erkennen.

Als Motiv habe ich mich für diese beiden süßen Bären aus dem Little Bear Agenda Stempelset von MamaElephant entschieden. Sie sind in No-Line Technik coloriert, ausgeschnitten und mit 3D Tape auf das Vellum geklebt. Zwischen Vellum und Motiv habe ich noch etwas weißes Satinband mit Goldkante gelegt und neben dem Motiv zur Schleife gebunden.

I didn't want to completly cover the beautiful paper but needed space for a text and an image. So I've golden heat embossed this great text by CraftEmotions, that translates as "some people fit perfectly into your heart", onto a piece of vellum, cut around it in a rectangle shape and glued it on top of the box. Now you can at least partly see those hearts through it.

For the image I went with these two cute bears from the Little Bear Agenda stamp set by MamaElephant. I did some no-line coloring, cut the image out and glued it onto the vellum with dimensionals. Between the vellum and the image I've put some white satin ribbon with golden edges and tied it to a bow next to the image.

Und hier nun das spezielle Innenleben der Box. Zieht/schiebt man die Schublade heraus, poppen kleine Streifen aus Folie mit Herzen und weiteren Nachrichten auf.

And here's the special inside of the box. When you push the drawer open, small strips of acetate pop up with some hearts and another message attached to them.

Ich habe die verschieden großen Herzen aus goldenem Glitzercardstock gestanzt. Die Texte sind von CraftEmotions (Lieblingsmensch) sowie ein Teil eines Stempels von SU für das Hallo und mit brauner Tinte gestempelt. 

Beim Schließen der Box drückt man die Streifen einfach wieder nach unten, so dass sie wieder in der Box liegen. 

I've punched different sized hearts from golden glitter cardstock. The text means "hello favorite person" and are stamped with brown ink.

When closing the box you simply push the acetate strips down again so they lay inside the box. 

 

Gnome sweet Gnome

Heute zeige ich auf dem Stampcorner Blog eine Karte mit einem der brandneuen Stempelsets für Februar. Es ist voller süßer Gnome samt Zubehör und Texten.

Over at the Stampcorner Blog I am sharing a card with one of their brand new february stamp sets. It's a gnome set, including also accessoires and texts.

Hier habe ich für den Hintergrund ein Stück weißen Cardstock mit Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon und Salty Ocean gewischt und anschließend ein wenig Wasser über das Papier gesprenkelt. 

Den Hintergrund habe ich schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Here I've inked up a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass, Mermaid Lagoon and Salty Ocean and added a few water droplets to the inked background for the white speckles.

Then I've matted the background black and glued it onto a white note card.

Im oberen Bereich der Karte habe ich - bereits vor dem Wischen - zweimal das Wort Gnome weiß aufembosst. Es gibt einen Text "gnome sweet gnome" im Stempelset, ich wollte das "sweet" aber durch ein gestanztes Wort ersetzen. Also habe ich nur das Wort Gnome zweimal abgestempelt und dabei den Abstand zwischen den beiden Zeilen vergrößert, damit mein gestanztes Wort auch dazwischen passt. 

Das Sweet ist mit der Sweet-Stanze von MFT aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und aufgeklebt.

Unter dem Text habe ich noch ein kleines Herz aus rotem Cardstock aufgeklebt.

Und rund um den Text war Platz für ein paar hellblaue Glitzersteine.

Onto the upper part of the card I've white heat embossed the word "gnome" twice - I already did that before inking up the background. There's a "gnome sweet gnome" text included in the stamp set but I wanted to replaced the "sweet" with a die cut one. So I've only stamped the word "gnome" twice and made the area inbetween the two lines a bit larger so my die cut word fits into it.

The "sweet" is die cut from white cardstock using the Sweet die by MFT. Then I've glued it onto the background.

Under the text I've added a small heart, punched from red cardstock.

And around the text there was room for a few light blue rhinestones.

Und hier könnt Ihr endlich den Gnom samt Wohnort genau sehen!

Ich habe alle Motive abgestempelt, mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Dann habe ich sie so an der unteren Kante der Karte arrangiert, dass sie die komplette Breite der Karte abdecken. Den Boden habe ich dann noch mit einem grauen Copicmarker dazugemalt. 

Ganz zum Schluss habe ich noch mit einem weißen Gelmarker einen Rahmen aus zwei Strichen entlang der undekorierten Kanten der Karte gemalt. 

And here you can finally see the cute gnome closely. 

I've stamped all the images, colored them with Copics and cut them out. Then I've arranged them at the bottom of the card so they cover the complete width of it. Then I've added the ground simply with a grey Copic marker.

In the end I've added a frame around the undecorated edges by simply drawing two lines with a white gel marker.

Selbstgemacht ist ganz besonders!

Wir alle wissen ja, dass Selbstgemachtes besonders von Herzen kommt und deswegen etwas ganz besonderes ist. Zeigt es doch, dass sich der Beschenkende Gedanken gemacht hat. Das weiß auch der kleine Bär auf meiner Karte und hat sich in sein Bastelreich verzogen.

We all know that selfmade gifts come from the heart and so they are extra special since they show that the giving person really thought about what you love. Also this little bear on my card knows that and so he went in his craftroom to make a gift.

Hier habe ich ein Stück braunes Designpapier mit Herzendruck auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. Oben rechts habe ich am Rand zwei kleine Fähnchen angebracht. Das Rote gestitchte habe ich aus der Wimpelkette von JM-Creation geschnitten, das Weiße dann etwas länger per Hand passend zugeschnitten.

Here I've glued some brown patterned paper with a hearts print onto a white note card. To the top right I've added two little banners. The red one with the stitched lines is cut from a longer party banner, then I've hand cut the white one per hand, making it a bit longer.

Und hier ist der süße Bär mit seiner fertigen Karte. Ich finde, die ist ihm wirklich gut gelungen!

Nun ist es ja so, dass Bären eher grobmotorisch veranlagt sind, dementsprechend ging einiges der Farbe daneben...

Ich habe den Bären abgestempelt und anschließend die Flecken, die im Set enthalten sind, mit ganz heller Tinte darüber gestempelt. Dann habe ich erst die Farbkleckse und anschließend den Bären coloriert. Durch die helle Stempelfarbe sieht man die gestempelten Flecken nach dem Colorieren nicht mehr. 

In die Karte habe ich einen der Texte, die der Bär mitbringt, schwarz aufgestempelt und dann noch das Herz aus dem Set Schoki mit Herz mit roter Tinte darübergestempelt. Das habe ich dann rot coloriert - schließlich muss die rote Farbe auf dem Bären ja irgendwo herkommen. 

Nach dem Ausschneiden habe ich den Bären auf einen der Stitched Kreise, gestanzt aus weißem Cardstock, von dem ich einen Streifen abgeschnitten habe, geklebt. 

Das Wort Geburtstagspost habe ich aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt und in zwei Teile geschnitten. Einen habe ich oberhalb, den anderen neben den Bären geklebt. Darunter kam noch ein für dich. Dafür habe ich einen Teil eines der Stempel aus dem Set Weihnachtsgrüße 1 verwendet und ihn weiß auf roten Cardstock embosst.

Zum Schluss kamen nur noch ein paar rote Glitzersteine auf die Karte.

And here's the cute bear with his finished card. Don't you agree that he did a really good job on it?

Well, bears aren't known for their motoric skills and so quite a lot of the color ended up on the bear instead of the card...

I've stamped the bear and then used a very light ink to stamp the speckles onto him. Then I've first colored those speckles, then the rest of the bear. Due to the very light ink you can't see the stamped speckles anymore once they are colored.

Into the card I've stamped a "love you" text with black ink and then a heart over it, using red ink this time. Then I've colored the heart - all that color on the bear has to come from somewhere.

After  cutting the bear out I've glued him onto a stitched circle, cut from white cardstock, and cut off a part of one edge.

The die cut word means birthday post. I've cut it from red cardstock, cut it into two parts and glued one above, the other one next to the bear. Under the post I've also added a "for you". Those words are white heat embossed onto red cardstock.

In the end I've also added a few red rhinestones.

Only 2 weeks until Valentine's Day - and I've made a little card that I'm sharing over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog today for that occasion.

Die Karte ist in Rot- und Rosatönen mit ein wenig schwarz gehalten. Und viel weißen Raum habe ich auch gelassen. Ich finde, so wirkt das Motiv am besten.

Mit den Cloud Stencils von MFT und Distress Oxide Spun Sugar habe ich pinkfarbene Wolken auf die obere Hälfte eines Stücks weißen Cardstocks gewischt. Dann habe ich Distress Ink Spun Sugar direkt aus dem Nachfüllfläschchen darüber gespritzt.

Den weißen Cardstock habe ich schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I've picked reds and pinks for this card and combined them with some black. Oh, and there's lots of white space on this card, too. I think this makes the image really pop out.

Using the Cloud Stencils by MFT and Distress Oxide Spun Sugar I've added some pink clouds to the top half of a piece of white cardstock. Then used the Distress Ink Spun Sugar Refill ink and flicked that directly over the clouds.

I've matted the white cardstock black and glued it onto a white note card.

Mit der Heart Rays Stanze habe ich das aus mehreren Strahlen bestehende Herz ausgestanzt und dafür verschiedene rot und weiße Designpapiere benutzt. Die habe ich dann zusammengesetzt auf ein Stück schwarzen Cardstock geklebt und mit einem feinen schwarzen Rand per Hand ausgeschnitten. So hebt sich das Herz schöner vom Hintergrund ab.

Die süßen Bären sind aus dem Stempelset Perfect Couple von MFT. Ich habe sie mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Bevor ich sie dann mit 3D Tape vor das Herz geklebt habe, habe ich noch das Gras aus demselben Stempelset direkt auf den Hintergrundcardstock gestempelt. So schweben die beiden nicht in der Luft.

Unter das Motiv kam dann noch ein Text aus dem Love You Big Time Stempelset. Das habe ich mit roter Tinte ebenfalls direkt auf den weißen Cardstock gestempelt.

Using the Heart Rays die I've die cut the rays heart from different red and white patterned paper. Then I've glued them onto some black cardstock and cut around the heart, leaving a thin line of the black cardstock. That adds some contrast between the red and white heart and the red and white pink background.

Those cute bears are from the Perfect Couple stamp set by MFT. I've colored them with Copics and cut them out. Before glueing them onto the card with dimensionals I've stamped the grass from the same stamp set directly onto the background cardstock. Now the bears don't have to float in the air.

Under the image I've also added a sentiment. It's from the Love You Big Time stamp set and stamped onto the background with red ink.

Eine Slider-Card zum Geburtstag

In diesem Jahr gibt es eine Neuerung: wir vom DT zeigen Euch jeden Monat eine Inspiration zu einem Stempel- und einem Stanzenset von JM-Creation. Wir selbst wissen im Vorfeld auch nicht, was der Rest des Teams mit den Produkten gemacht hat. So ist es auch für uns echt spannend. Heute gibt es nun also die Karten mit den - ich nenne sie jetzt mal - Highlight-Produkten des Monats Januar. Es ist das Stempelset Geburtstagsmaus sowie das Stanzenset Herzlichen Glückwunsch. Und das ist mir zu dieser Kombi eingefallen.

We from the JM-Creation DT have something new this year: each month a stamp set and a die set will be highlighted. Everyone of us is making a card with these - and we don't know ahead what the others made so it's even a lot of fun for us. So today I'm sharing my first card with the january highlight products. It's a stamp set with sayings and a mouse with cake and a die set with some borders. And this is what I came up with.

Hier seht Ihr den Kuchen. Den habe ich hinter zwei Cardstocklagen versteckt, die ich mit einer der Stanzen aus dem Set Herzlichen Glückwunsch ausgestanzt habe. Eigentlich sind die beiden Worte wellenförmig nebeneinander. Das wäre aber für meine Hochkant-Karte zu lang gewesen. Also habe ich sie einmal aus dunkelbraunem, einmal aus ockerfarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und jeweils eines der Worte mit der Schere weggeschnitten. So konnte ich beide Lagen versetzt übereinander kleben. Auf den ockerfarbenen Cardstock habe ich noch einen Teil eines der Texte aus dem Stempelset Geburtstagsmaus aufgestempelt.

Im Hintergrund habe ich hellblauen Cardstock benutzt. Von außen her habe ich den Cardstock ein wenig mit Distress Ink Tumbled Glass gewischt. Die herabfallenden Luftschlangen sind einfach per Hand aufgemalt. Außerdem habe ich hier noch ein paar Spritzer mit goldener Wasserfarbe aufgebracht. Außerdem habe ich noch ein paar goldene Pailetten aufgeklebt.

Wie Ihr auf dem ersten Bild schon gesehen habt, habe ich eine Slider Card gemacht. Für den Mechanismus habe ich das Stanzenset Zieh-/Schiebemechanismus benutzt. Damit geht das kinderleicht. Auf den Tab zum Ziehen habe ich noch das Wort ziehen aus dem Stempelset Pfeile und Texte aufgestempelt. Eigentlich stempelt der "bitte ziehen", aber für das bitte war kein Platz. Also habe ich die unhöfliche Variante gewählt... ;)

 

Here you see the cake. I've put it behind two layers of cardstock that I've die cut a "heartfelt congrats" text from using one of the border dies from this month's die set. Originally the two words are die cut next to each other, but that was too long for my landscape card. So I've die cut the border once from dark brown, once from a yellow-ish brown cardstock and cut off one word with my scissors. Now I was able to put one word under the other. Onto the yellow-ish brown cardstock I've also stamped a "for your birthday" text. 

In the background I've used some light blue cardstock. Around the edges I've added a bit of Tumbled Glass Distres Ink. The streamers are simply hand drawn. And I've also added some speckles with golden shimmer watercolor. And there was room for a few golden sequins as well. 

As you've already seen on the first pic - this is a slider card. I've used a die set by JM Creation to create the mechanism and also stamped a "pull" text onto the tab. The stamp I've used for that originally says "please pull" but that was too wide for my tab so I decided to go with the more rude version of just "pull"... ;)

Und hier noch die süße Maus, die den großen Kuchen trägt. Die möchte ich Euch natürlich nicht vorenthalten. Sie zeigt sich erst, wenn man am Tab zieht, ansonsten versteckt sie sich unter den Lagen mit dem Text. 

And here's the cute mouse that's carrying the big cake. Of course I wanted to show you this as well. You can only see it when the tab is pulled, when not it is hiding behind the layers with the text.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 30. Januar 2021

Heute gibt es beim Stempeleinmaleins die erste Sketch-Inspiration des Jahres 2021. Der Sketch ist recht klar und so habe ich mich für eine Clean and Simple Card entschieden.

Over at Stempeleinmaleins we are sharing our first sketch inspiration of this new year 2021 today. The sketch is pretty clean so I've decided to use it for a clean and simple card.

Ich habe als Basis ein Stück weißen Cardstocks genommen, ihn schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I've picked a piece of white cardstock for my background, matted it black and glued both layers onto a white note card.

Und dann habe ich endlich die süßen Stinktiere von Clearly Besotted eingeweiht. Auch so ein Stempelset, das ich unbedingt haben musste, das bis jetzt aber doch stiefmütterlich behandelt wurde. Aber für eine Valentinstagskarte ist es perfekt. Und eine solche habe ich hier gemacht.

Im Hintergrund habe ich den - wirklich schon alten - Love Background von Magnolia mit hellgrauer Tinte abgestempelt. Darauf kamen dann zwei Szenen, die mit dem Love Story Stempelset von Clearly Besotted gemacht sind. Im oberen Bild sitzt das Stinktierfräulein im Mondschein auf einer Wiese und spielt das alte "Er-liebt-mich-er-liebt-mich-nicht"-Spiel. 

In der unteren Szene wird diese Frage dann beantwortet, denn da kommt das Stinktiermännlein mit einem großen Herz vorbei. Klar, dass sich die Dame da freut!

Zwischen die beiden Szenen habe ich einen Text aus dem selben Stempelset gesetzt, den ich ebenfalls rot gemattet habe.

Ich habe bewusst nur schwarz und weiß verwendet und durch die rote Mattung des Mond-Hintergrundes und die kleinen roten Details ein paar Akzente gesetzt.

Und dazu passten dann natürlich ein paar rote Pailetten als Deko perfekt.

And then I've finally used these cute skunks by Clearly Besotted. Another stamp set I wanted so badly but then didn't use it until now. But it's perfect for a Valentine's card. And that's what this card is for.

In the background I've used the - really old - Love Background by Magnolia and stamped it onto the card with light grey ink. Then I've added two scenes made with the Love Story stamp set by Clearly Besotted. In the upper picture the skunk lady is sitting under a full moon, playing the old "he-loves-me-he-loves-me-not" game. 

In the lower scene this question gets answered. The skunk man is coming by with a big heart in his hands. Of course the lady is over the moon!

Between the two scenes I've added a little saying from the same set, matting it red as well.

I used mainly black and white here, adding a few accents with the red matting behind the moon scenes and a few details. 

And of course a few red sequins were the perfect embellishment here.

Heute habe ich mal eine Karte zur Geburt eines kleinen Jungen im Gepäck. Und der süße Dino im Ei von JM-Creation ist da einfach perfekt, finde ich.

Today I have this card, made for the birth of a little boy, to share with you. And I think this little baby dino in an egg is just the perfect image to me.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich die obere Hälfte eines Stücks weißen Cardstocks mit Distress Oxide Speckled Egg und Broken China gewischt und pures Broken China aufgespritzt. 

Den weißen Cardstock habe ich dann grau gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

For the background I've inked up the upper half of a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Speckled Egg and Broken China, then spritzed some Broken China over it.

I've matted the background with grey cardstock and glued it onto a white note card.

Hier seht Ihr den süßen Dino besser. Ich habe ihn mit Copics coloriert und ihm eine türkisfarbene Schleife um den Hals gebunden. Schließlich ist so ein Baby ja auch ein Geschenk!

Und weil er ja wirklich gerade eben geschlüpft sein muss, ist es klar, dass das Ei noch im Nest liegen muss. Das habe ich aus kraftfarbenen Papiershredderstreifen gemacht, die ich einfach unter dem Dino aufgeklebt habe. 

Das Hallo Baby über dem Dino habe ich mit dem ABC 1 aus grau-türkis farbenem Cardstock gestanzt und kreisförmig aufgeklebt. 

Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar kleine Holzsternchen neben dem Nest aufgeklebt.

Here you get a better look at the cute dino. I've colored him with Copics and tied a turquoise colored bow around his neck because a little baby is definately a gift.

And since he seems to just have hatched it's clear that the egg must still be laying in the nest. I've used some craft colored shredded paper strips that I've glued around the egg onto the background.

The "hallo baby" is die cut from a grey-turquoise cardstock using an alphabet die set, then glued around the dino's head.

I've also added a few wooden stars next to the nest.

Im unteren Bereich der Karte habe ich noch ein gestanztes Herzlichen Glückwunsch aufgeklebt. Das habe ich mit einer ebenfalls neuen Stanze aus demselben grau-türkisfarbenen Cardstock gestanzt und mit dem grauen Cardstock, mit dem ich den Hintergrund gemattet habe, einen Schatten geschnitten. Das ist per Hand passiert.

Dann habe ich die Worte mit 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Durch das erhöhrte Aufkleben, verschwindet der Text optisch nicht hinter dem Nest.

In the lower part of the card I've added a die cut "congrats". I've cut it from the grey-turquoise cardstock and then cut a shadow from the same grey cardstock, that I've also used to mat the background.

Then I've glued the words down with dimensionals so they don't seem to slide under/behind the nest.

Auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog zeige ich heute diese Geburtstagskarte für einen kleinen Mann. Da darf es ruhig extra niedlich werden, oder?

Over at the Stamping-Faires Blog I am sharing this birthday card for a little man today. And I think this is a reason to get extra cute.

Basis ist ein Stück weißer Cardstock, den ich blau gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt habe.

I've matted a piece of white cardstock blue and glued both layers onto a white note card.

Mit der Circle Extraordinaire Kreisschablone von MFT und Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass und Broken China sowie der Cloud Schablone habe ich in die obere Hälfte der Karte einen Kreis mit Wolken gewischt. Dann habe ich etwas Broken China Ink pur auf die Karte aufgespritzt.

Der süße Bär im Flugzeug ist aus dem Stempelset Fox and Friends. Ich habe die kleinere Wolke, die eigentlich vom Flugzeug gezogen wird, durch die größere aus dem selben Set ersetzt. So konnte ich darauf eine Torte und ein Geschenk aus dem Set Birth-YAY sowie einen der Luftballons aus dem Set Better Together befestigen. Den zweiten Luftballon habe ich weggeschnitten, da beide zu breit für meine Karte gewesen wären.

Die Motive sind mit Copics coloriert, die Wolke und das Flugzeug habe ich noch mit Wink of Stella glitzernd überzogen.

Und rund um das Motiv habe ich ein paar gelbe Glitzersteine verteilt.

With the Circle Extraordinaire stencil by MFT and Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass and Broken China and also the Cloud stencil I've added a could filled circle to the top half of my card. Then I've spritzed some Broken China Ink directly over it.

The cute bear in the plane is from the Fox and Friends stap set. I've replaced the smaller cloud he's originally pulling with the larger one from the same set. That way I had enough room to place the cake and gift from the Birth-YAY stamp set onto the cloud and also add a balloon from the Better Together stamp set. I've cut off the second balloon since both were too wide for my card.

The images are colored with Copics, the cloud and the plane are also covered with some clear Wink of Stella.

Around the image I've added a few yellow rhinestones.

Die Texte sind mal wieder ein Mix verschiedener Stempel. Das Special Delivery ist aus dem Set Doctor's Order, das on Your ist aus dem Set Paw-Ty Time. 

Das Birthday habe ich mit der Happy Birthday to You Stanze ausgestanzt und aufgeklebt. Und ja, ich weiß, dass es ein wenig schief ist. Ich hatte die Buchstaben mit Washi zusammengesetzt und auf die Karte geklebt - da klingelte das Telefon. Und nach dem Telefonat habe ich nicht mehr kontrolliert, ob ich beim Aufstehen eventuell etwas verrutscht habe. Aber es hält sich in Grenzen und der kleine Geburtstagsmann wird mir bestimmt verzeihen. Dafür habe ich als I-Punkt noch ein kleines Herz aus goldenem Glitzercardstock aufgeklebt.

The text is again put together from a few different stamps. The Special Delivery is from the Doctor's Order Set, the on your from the Set Paw-Ty Time.

The birthday is die cut with the Happy Birthday to You die and glued down. And yes, I know that it's not glued down straight. I had the letter, connected to each other with Washi, put down on my card when the phone rang. And when I had finished the call I didn't double check if I had moved the letters while getting up. But I think it's not bad enough to re-do the whole card, and for sure the little birthday boy will forgive me. To make sure of that I've added a little heart, die cut from golden glitter cardstock, as an i-dot.

Heute geben wir Euch beim Stempeleinmaleins schon mal eine Idee für ein kleines Valentinstagsgeschenk: ein Herztäschchen.

Today over at Stempeleinmaleins we are sharing a little heart bag that might be an idea for what to make for Valentine's this year.

 

Das Täschchen ist aus zwei ausgestanzten Herzen gemacht. Ich habe dafür zwei verschiedene Designpapiere aus dem Let it Shine Paperpad von LawnFawn verwendet. Die passen farblich natürlich perfekt zusammen.

Außenherum habe ich mit braunem Fineliner zwei Linien gemalt. Außerdem habe ich hier noch ein paar kleine rosafarbene Wolken, gestanzt aus einem weiteren Bogen aus dem selben Paperpad, aufgeklebt. 

Eigentlich hat das Täschchen eine Art Henkel. Ich habe stattdessen ein Loch durch das Herz gestanzt und es nach dem Füllen mit Schoki und geshredderten Papierstreifen mit einer kleinen Schleife aus weißem Satinband geschlossen. 

 

The bag is made from two die cut hearts. I've used two different papers from the Let it Shine paper pad by LawnFawn to die cut the hearts. Of course they go perfectly together colorwise. 

Close to the outer edge I've drawn two lines with a brown fineliner. And I've also glued down a few tiny clouds, die cut from another sheet from the same paper pad, to the top of my bag. 

Originally the bag has some kind of handle. Instead of adding this I've punched a hole through my hearts and, after filling the bag with chocolat and some of the shredded paper, I've put some white ribbon through the holes and tied it to a bow to hold the bag closed. 

 

 Natürlich braucht mein Täschchen auch ein süßes Motiv. Also habe ich endlich eines der Mammuts aus dem Mammoth Love Stempelset von MamaElephant eingeweiht. Die finde ich so knuffig. 

Ich habe hier No-Line Coloring angewendet - ich finde, damit sehen die Motive immer so schön realistisch aus. Auch die Herzen sind aus diesem Set und ebenfalls ohne sichtbare Stempellinie coloriert. 

Nach dem Ausschneiden habe ich das Mammut und die Herzen auf ein kleines Doily, aus weißem Cardstock mit einer Stanze von Cheerie Lynn gestanzt, geklebt. Unter das Doily habe ich etwas Cheesecloth sowie ein paar Windungen eines dünnen, pinkfarbenen Metallikfadens geklebt.

Zum Schluss kam noch ein Text unterhalb des Mammuts. Der ist auch aus dem Mammoth Love Stempelset und mit brauner Tinte auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt. Dann habe ich ihn noch mit dem gepunkteten Designpapier, das ich auch für die eine Hälfte des Täschchens benutzt habe, gemattet. 

Of course my bag needed a cute image. So I've finally inked up one of the mammoth from the Mammoth Love stamp set by MamaElephant. I just think those are so darling.

I did some no line coloring - I always find those images so realistic looking. Also the hearts are from this set and also colored without visible stamp lines.

After cutting out the mammoth and the hearts I've glued them onto a small Doily, cut with a die from Cheerie Lynn from white paper. Under the Doily I've put some cheesecloth and some pink metallic thread. 

In the end I've added the saying. It's again from the Mammoth Love stamp set and stamped with brown ink onto some white cardstock. I've also matted it with the same dotted designer's paper that I've used to cut half of the bag.

Eine Box voll Nervennahrung

Es gibt so Situationen, in denen braucht man einfach ein wenig Schokolade. Wie schön, wenn man da einen Freund hat, der vorgesorgt hat.  Und wenn die Schokolade dann noch so süß verpackt ist, muss der Tag ja besser werden!

There are those situations where the only thing that helps is chocolat. It's great when you have a friend that makes sure you have some at hand. And when it's put in such a cute box the day just has to get better!

Ich habe hier die Dreiecksschachtel von JM-Creation gewerkelt. Und in die passt auf jeden Fall mehr als nur ein kleiner Happen Schokolade hinein. 

Die Box ist aus weißem Cardstock gewerkelt, die Seiten habe ich mit rosafarbenem Designpapier mit weißen Punkten das ich zusätzlich braun gemattet habe, beklebt.

Here I've made a triangle box using a die by JM Creation. And in this one there's definately room for more than just a bite sized chocolat.

I've die cut the box from white cardstock, onto all the sides I've glued some pink patterned paper with white dots that I've also matted with brown cardstock.

Damit man gleich weiß, was in der Box ist, habe ich mit einer der neuen Stanzen das Wort Nervennahrung aus goldenem Spiegelcardstock gestanzt und quer auf die Box geklebt.

Darüber kam ein kleiner Text - tröstende Worte sind ja nie verkehrt. Da mich das viele weiß dort gestsört hat, habe ich auf den Cardstock, auf den ich den Text gestempelt habe, noch ein kleines gestanztes Herz sowie ein braunes Blümchen aufgeklebt.

I've die cut the word "Nervennahrung" - meaning "food to calm your nerves" - from golden mirror cardstock and glued it across the bottom of the box. So everyone knows at first look what's inside this box since this is a word used often for chocolate.

The small text means "keep your head up, things will get better". Some encouraging words can never hurt. And since all the white on this cardstock that I've stamped the text on was somehow disturbing me I've also added a small die cut heart and a tiny flower there.

Und hier ist der süße Bär mit Schokolade - ebenfalls eine der Januar-Neuheiten. Da die Farben auf der Box doch recht mädchenhaft geworden sind, habe ich kurzerhand auch den Bären eindeutig in ein Mädchen verwandelt und eine kleine rosafarbene Schleife an seinem Ohr angebracht.

Neben dem Bären habe ich noch zwei weitere Blumen aufgeklebt.

And here's the cute bear with the chocolat - also one of the new stamps of january. Since the colors I've used for my box are pretty girly I've also turned the little bear into a girl by simply glueing a pink dot to the ear. 

Next to the bear I've added two more flowers.

Was wäre das Leben ohne Träume? Und man darf ruhig groß träumen! Aber manchmal müssen wir daran erinnert werden, dass diese kleinen Auszeiten wichtig sind. Und das mache ich mit dieser Karte, die ich heute auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog zeige.

What would life be without dreams? And when you dream, you should dream as big as possible! But sometimes we need a little reminder of how important those dreams are. That's what this card, that I'm sharing over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog today, wants to tell you.

Hier habe ich wieder einen Hintergrund mit Distress Oxides gestaltet. Ich habe in der Mitte mit Speckled Egg begonnen und mich dann nach außen hin mit Broken China, Salty Ocean und Black Soot vorgearbeitet. Die Sterne habe ich mit silberfarbener Schimmer-Wasserfarbe aufgespritzt.

Für den Text habe ich nur einen kleinen Teil eines Stempels aus dem Stempelset Unbearably Cute von MFT mit Versamark gestempelt und dann mit silberfarbenem Embossingpulver embosst um das Wort Dream auf schwarzen Cardstock zu bringen. Das Wort big habe ich mit der Handletter Lowercase Stanze von CraftEmotions aus silberfarbenem Glitzercardstock gestanzt und aufgeklebt.

Here I've created a background with Distress Oxides again. I started in the middle with Speckled Egg and then worked outwards using Broken China, Salty Ocean and Black Soot. The stars are again made with silver shimmer water color.

For the saying I've only used a small part of one sayings from the Unbearably Cute stamp set by MFT, stamped it with Versamark and then silver heat embossed it to create the word Dream on black cardstock. The word big is die cut using the Handletter Lowercase die by CraftEmostions. I've die cut the letters from silver glitter cardstock and glued them onto the background.

Star der Karte ist natürlich der Bär auf seiner Schaukel. Und die hängt, wie es sich fürs Träumen gehört, an einer Wolke. 

Der Bär ist aus dem Stempelset Blastoff Buddies. Ich habe das Motiv mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten. 

Die Wolken sind aus den Stanzensets Puffy Clouds sowie Cute Cloud Outlines (die große Wolke, ohne die feine äußere Schicht verwendet). Sie sind alle einfach aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt.

Und weil mir bei der Szene etwas fehlte, habe ich beschlossen, auch noch einen glitzernden Regenbogen mit aufzukleben. Den habe ich mit der Rainbow Whimsy Stanze nur aus silberfarbenem, hellblauem, türkisfarbenem und dunkelblauem Glitzercardstock gestanzt. 

Anschließend habe ich alle Stanzmotive sowie das Stempelmotiv mit 3D Tape aufeinander gesetzt und zum Schluss noch ein paar silberfarbene Pailetten darum herum verteilt.

Star of this card is the cute bear on his swing. And that's attached to a cloud - as it should be for someone dreaming.

The bear is from the Blastoff Buddies stamp set. I've colored the image with Copics and cut it out. 

The clouds are from the Puffy Clouds die set and the Cute Cloud Outline die set - here I've used the largest cloud without the outline part. They are all cut from white cardstock.

And since it felt like something was missing on this card I've decided to also add a glittering rainbow. So I've die cut the rainbow from silver, light blue, turquoise and dark blue glitter cardstock using the Rainbow Whimsy die.

Then I've glued all the pieces together with dimensionals and added a few silver sequins around the scene.

Beim Stempeleinmaleins zeigen wir Euch heute eine Doppelte Z-Karte - und auf dem Bild oben könnt Ihr schon mal ganz gut erkennen, wie die Karte aufgebaut ist.

Over at Stempeleinmaleins we are sharing a tutorial for this double z-fold card today - and on the picture above you can already see how this card is made. 

Ich habe mich für eine Winterkarte entschieden - sehr zur Freude der kleinen Eichhörnchen auf meiner Karte. 

Im Hintergrund habe ich Designpapier mit Schneeflockenprint von LawnFawn benutzt und ein paar Birkenstämme von MFT aufgeklebt. Die passen von sich aus schon zum Schneelook der Karte.

Unten quer über die Karte habe ich ein "let it snow" von LawnFawn aufgeklebt. Diese Stanze habe ich schon seit Jahren, aber ich glaube, hier erst das zweite Mal verwendet. Manchmal dauert es eben, bis das richtige Projekt kommt... ;)

I've decided to make a winter card - and the little squirrels on my card are very thankful for that decision.

In the background I've used a designer's paper with a snowflake print by LawnFawn and glued a few birch trees, made with a die by MFT, on top of it. Colorwise those already fit great with the winter theme of my card.

Across the bottom of my card I've glued a scripty "let it snow", die cut with a die by LawnFawn. I've bought this die years ago but guess I've only used it here for the second time. Well, sometimes it takes time until you're working on the perfect project for something.

Das Vogelhaus ist mit der neuen Magic Iris Birdhouse Add-On Stanze von LawnFawn gemacht - allerdings ohne Magic Iris Mechanismus. Ich fand es viel süßer, wenn man den beiden Eichhörnchen im Inneren gleich beim Kaffeetrinken zusehen kann. Das Vogelhaus habe ich zuerst mit der Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop Stanze mit einem Holzmuster versehen, dann die Ränder mit Distress Ink Walnut Stain gewischt und damit auch ein paar Farbspritzer aufgespritzt. Das Holzmuster habe ich nur auf Vogelhaus und den Stamm gestanzt, das Innere des Hauses habe ich ohne Prägung gelassen. 

Zusammengeklebt habe ich das Haus mit 3D Tape und habe im Häuschen geshredderte Papierstreifen in Kraft als kuscheliges Füllmaterial aufgeklebt. 

Die süßen Eichhörnchen sind aus den Sets Let's Go Nuts und Pick of the Patch, coloriert habe ich sie mit Copics. Die Tasse in der Hand des einen Eichhörnchens ist aus dem Stempelset Holiday Party Animal - ebenso die Mütze, die das Eichhörnchen auf dem Dach des Vogelhäuschens. Und die Schneeflocke, die auf der Nase des einen Eichhörnchens gelandet ist, sowie der Schneemann sind aus dem Set Ready, Set, Snow. 

Dekoriert habe ich das Vogelhaus mit einem Herz sowie Ranken, die im Vogelhaus-Set enthalten sind. Anschließend habe ich über die komplette Szene noch weiße Acryfarbe gespritzt.

The bird house is made using the new Magic Iris Birdhouse Add-On die set by LawnFawn - but without the magic iris mechanism. I liked the idea of seeing the two squirrels inside the house immediately. I've used the Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop die to add the wood pattern to the bird house, then inked up the edges with Distress Ink Walnut Stain and spritzed some of the same color over the house. I didn't add the wood pattern to the inside of the house, only to the house itself and the post. 

Then I've glued the house together with dimensionals and filled the inside with some craft colored shredded paper strips for the squirrels to cuddle into.

These are from the stamp sets Let's Go Nuts and Pick of the Patch, coloring was donw with Copics. The mug one of the squirrels is holding is from the Holiday Party Animal - as is the hat the squirrel on the roof top is wearing. And the snowflake that landed on the nose of said squirrel as well as the snowman are from the Ready, Set, Snow stamp set.

I've decorated the bird house with a heart and some leaves that come with the die set, then flicked some white acrylic paint over the whole scene.

Öffnet man die Karte, sind sowohl die dekorierte Vorder- als auch die Innenseite der Karte sichtbar. Klar, dass die dann zusammenpassen müssen! Also habe ich auch auf die Innenseite das Schneemuster-Designpapier aufgeklebt.

When you open the card both, the decorated front as well as the inside of the card, are visible. So of course they have to match. I've glued the same snowprint patterned paper to the inside that I've also used on the front.

Außerdem habe ich innen einen schnörkeligen Rahmen aufgeklebt, auf den dann ein gemattetes Stück Cardstock kam. Auf das habe ich den tollen Schneeflocken-Spruch von Stamping Bella in helltürkis abgestempelt, dazu kamen zwei kleine Schneeflocken. Und drei Pailetten runden die Deko hier ab.

I've also glued this die cut flourish frame to the inside onto which I've glued a matted piece of cardstock. Onto that I've stamped this great snowflake text by Stamping Bella, stamped with a light turquoise ink. I've also added two snowflakes and three little sequins.
