Die vierte Farbe Trifft Stempel Challenge 2026 ist gestartet, diesmal mit dem Thema "Alles was fliegt". Na, was fällt Euch dazu ein? Ich war hin und her gerissen - Vögel, Schmetterlinge, Flugzeuge, Heißluftballone, Drachen. Letztendlich habe ich mich für Vögel entschieden, auch wenn die auf meiner Karte eher still auf ihren Ästen sitzen.

The Farbe Trifft Stempel Challenge 2026 #4 has startet, this time with "all things that fly" as the theme. Well, what would/will you pick? I was torn between birds, butterflies, airplanes, hot air balloons, kits. Finally I decided to to with birds, even if they are sitting still on their branches on my card.
Ich habe hier mal einfachen schwarzen Cardstock als Hintergrund gewählt. Ich hatte überlegt, Blätter hineinzuprägen, da die gut zu meinem tropischen Arrangement von Pflanzen und Vögeln gepasst hätten. Stattdessen habe ich aber nochmal den Watercolor Wash Free Form Stencil von MFT genommen und goldene Metallic-Tinte durch ihn aufgedrückt. Auf dem schwarzen Cardstock glänzt und glitzert das toll, ohne zu aufdringlich zu wirken. Außerdem passt das Gold gut zum vielen Grün auf der Karte.
I picked just some solid black cardstock for my background here. I was thinking about dry embossing some leaves into it because they would have worked well with the arrangement of tropical plants and birds. Instead I used the Watercolor Wash Free Form stencil by MFT again and applied some gold metallic ink through it. It shines and shimmers greatly on that black cardstock without taking to omuch attention. The gold also goes great with all the green on my card.
Und hier sind meine Vögel - es sind zwei der Kakadus aus dem Set Ta-Da von Create a Smile. Da man bei weißen Kakadus ja nicht so sonderlich gut das Augenmerk auf die Coloration legen kann, habe ich gegoogelt, in welchen Farben es die Tiere noch gibt und bin auf verschiedene Pinktöne gestoßen. Das war dann auch das, was mich zu meiner Farbgebung inspiriert hat.
Ich habe die beiden Kakadus wieder mit Alcoholmarkern und Polychromos coloriert, allerdings habe ich zur Abwechslung mal No-Line Coloring benutzt. Dafür habe ich sie mit dem Jellyfish Stempelkissen von LawnFawn gestempelt. Nach dem Colorieren habe ich sie mit der Schere ausgeschnitten.
Hinter den Vögeln habe ich dann einen Mix verschiedener Blätter und ein paar Blüten angebracht. Ich habe hier Stanzen aller möglicher Firmen kombiniert und die Blätter aus verschiedenen Tönen grünen Cardstocks ausgestanzt. Dann habe ich sie ein wenig mit Distress Inks gewischt. Die Blüten von Magnolia habe ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und ganz zart coloriert. Die Äste, auf die ich meine Kakadus gesetzt habe, sind mit einer Stanze von Memorybox aus hellgrünem Cardstock gemacht.
And here are my birds - they are two of the cockatoos from Ta-Da by Create a Smile. Since you can't really put the focus on a white coloring I asked Google to see, if they come in other colores, too, and came across some pink ones. That's what inspired my coloring.
I used a combination of alcohol marker and Polychromos again for my coloring, but did some no-line coloring for a change. I stamped the images with the Jellyfish ink by LawnFawn, after coloring the images I cut them out with my scissors.
Behind the birds I placed a mix of different leaves and a few flowers. I used dies by all kinds of brands here to die cut the leaves from different shades of green cardstock, then shaded them with Distress Inks. The flowers by Magnolia I cut from white cardstock and colored them very softly. The branches, that I put the birds onto, are made from light green cardstock using a die by Memorybox.
Unter den Motiven habe ich dann meinen Text angebracht. Er ist eine Kombination aus einem "you make me" aus dem Stempelset Itty Bitty Love Notes von MFT sowie einem gestanzten Happy. Der gestempelte Text ist weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Das Happy ist Teil der Giant Happy Fall Stanze von LawnFawn, das fall habe ich einfach weggeschnitten. Dieses Wort habe ich aus hellgrünem Cardstock gestanzt und mit einem weißen Stanztei hinterlegt. Dann habe ich den embossten Text quer über das H und A geklebt.
Under the images I added my text. It's a combination from a "you make me" from Itty Bitty Love Notes by MFT and a die cut "happy". The stamped text is white heat embossed onto black cardstock. The "happy" is part of the Giant Happy Fall die by LawnFawn, I simply cut off the "fall". I cut the word from light green cardstock and backed it with a white die cut. Then I glued the embossed text across the H and A.
Die Blätter habe ich mit dünnem, die Kakadus und den gestempelten Text mit dickem 3D Tape hinterlegt.
Als Deko habe ich drei hellrosa-farbene Herzen sowie einige goldene Perlen auf der Karte verteilt. Außerdem habe ich mit einem goldenen Gelstift einen Rahmen auf den schwarzen Cardstock gemalt. Dann habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
I backed the leaves with thin, the cockatoos and embossed text with thick foam tape.
As decoration I added three light pink clay hearts and some gold pearls. I also drew a frame onto the black cardstock using a gold gel pen.
Then I glued the card panel onto a white note card.
