Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 14. März 2020

 Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Heute zeigen wir Euch beim Stempeleinmaleins mal wieder eine Box: die Facettenbox. Ich war mir wegen des Designs zuerst nicht ganz sicher - bestempeln, aus Cardstock, aus Designpapier, bekleben... Dann habe ich mich für diese Variante entschieden und finde das Ergebnis echt gut!

Over at Stempeleinmaleins we are sharing another box tutorial today: the facette box. I wasn't sure about the design first: make it from cardstock, stamp on it, make it from designer's paper, cover it with more.... Then I've decided to go like this and really like the outcome!

Ich habe meine Box aus mittelfestem dunkelgrauem Designpapier/dünnem Cardstock mit blau-grauen Punkten gewerkelt und die Dreiecke, die beim Falten entstehen, mit farblich passendem Designpapier beklebt. Die größeren, rautenförmigen Flächen sind nach innen gebogen und hier wäre das Bekleben nicht möglich gewesen. Die Papierwahl war aber ganz gut - die Box ließ sich gut arbeiten und ist trotzdem stabil genug.

Hier sieht man, dass ich oben am Deckel zwei Bänder mit eingearbeitet habe, die an der Box herunterhängen. An den unteren Enden habe ich jeweils zwei kleine Herzen aus silberfarbenem Glitzercardstock angeklebt.

I've made my box from dark grey designer's paper/thin cardstock with grey-ish blue dots. When putting the box together there are some triangles forming. Onto those I've glued slightly smaller triangles from a matching designer's paper. Turned out that I've picked the right paper - the box was easy to fold but is still sturdy enough to hold some goodies.

Here you can see that I've attached two ribbons to the lid. Those are dangling down the box and I've glued two hearts, cut from silver glitter cardstock, to the end of both pieces of ribbon.

Auf dem Deckel durfte natürlich Deko nicht fehlen. Ich habe erst etwas Cheesecloth aufgeklebt, darauf kam ein gewellter Kreis aus silbernem Glittercardstock, wiederum darauf ein weiterer Kreis aus dem gepunkteten Designpapier. 

Als Motiv habe ich mich für den süßen Panda aus dem Little Panda Agenda Stempelset von Mama Elephant entschieden. Ich finde diese Agenda-Sets einfach klasse, vor allem für kleinere Projekte.

Der Text auf dem Banner ist aus einem Let's (ein kleiner Teil eines der Stempel aus dem Big News Stempelset, ebenfalls von Mama Elephant) und einem Party!. Das habe ich mit dem Clear Letters Stempelset von Creae A Smile Stamps geschrieben. Das tolle an dem Set ist, dass es sowohl gefüllte als auch "Nur-Outline"-Buchstaben gibt. Die kann man dann prima übereinander stempeln und muss dabei nicht mal exakt arbeiten. Gerade wenn Füllung und Linien nicht genau übereinander liegen finde ich das Alphabet super!

Onto the lid I had to add some decorations. First I've glued down some cheesecloth, then put a scalloped circle cut from silver glitter cardstock on top and then, again on top of that, another regular circle cut from the dotted designer's paper.

For the image I went with this cute panda from the Little Panda Agenda stamp set by Mama Elephant. I love these Agenda sets, especially for smaller projects.

The saying on the banner is put together from a "let's" (small part of one of the stamps from the Big News stamp set, also by Mama Elephant) and a "party!". That was put together with the Clear Letters stamp set by Create A Smile Stamps. The great thing about this set is, that there are solid and "outline only" letters included in the set. Those can be stamped on top of each other and you even don't have to work very precisly. I like it best when the letters are a bit off so you see that the letter is made from two different stamps.

Sometimes we need a little heads up - and it's good when there's a friend providing exactly that. Of course we crafters make those on our own - and over at the Stampcorner Blog I am sharing a little idea for a cheer up gift for a friend today.

Der kleine Bär aus dem Stempelset Bärige Grüße sieht so aus, als wäre er derjenige, der Aufmunterung braucht. Aber gerade das macht ihn so süß, finde ich. Und ich habe ihm immerhin einen Luftballon aus dem Partytiere Stempelset  gegeben. Den habe ich mit Papier Piecing "eingefärbt". Coloriert habe ich  mit Copics.

Der Seelentröster Stempel war eigentlich quer geplant, passte dann aber hochkant irgendwie besser. Oben am Himmel habe ich noch zwei graue Wolken aus dem Set Regenbogen aufgeklebt - wenn schon Trübsal, dann zumindest passendes Wetter!

Unten am Rand der Box klebt noch eine Grasbordüre von MFT.

This little bear looks like he's the one who needs some cheering up. But I think that's exactly what makes him so cute. And at least I gave him a balloon. The balloon was paper pieced. Coloring was done with Copics.

The sayings means "comforter" and originally I had planned to glue it down horizontally. But then it turned out to fit better this way. 

To the sky I've added two grey clouds - when you're down the weather should fit your mood!

To the bottom I've also added some grass using a border die by MFT.

Doch hier kommt Hilfe! Natürlich in Form von Schokolade. ;)

Hier kann man auch erkennen, dass mein Werk eine zweiteilige Box aus hellgrauem Cardstock ist, die ich mit türkis und weiß gestreiftem Designpapier von MFT beklebt habe. Der Deckel kann nach oben abgezogen werden und hat auch zwei "Grifflöcher". Die Elemente auf dem größeren Teil der Box sind mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt, so dass der Deckel problemlos darunter geschoben werden kann, die Wolken sind direkt auf den Deckel geklebt. So bleibt bei geöffnetem Zustand jedes Teil ein wenig dekoriert. 

In der Box steckt ein Schoko-Keks-Riegel. Den habe ich vorsichtshalber mal mit hellgrauem Cardstock umwickelt, da ich nicht weiß, wie der Hersteller zu Fotos mit seinen Produkten steht. Und bei den ganzen Firmenfusionen weiß man ja manchmal eh nicht mehr, wer eigentlich was herstellt. ;)

Here you can also see that this is a box made from two parts, cut from light grey cardstock and covered with white and turquoise striped designer's paper by MFT. The lid an be pulled off and I've added two notches here. The elements on the bigger part of the box are attached with dimensionals so the lid slides underneath them when the box gets closed. The clouds are directly glued onto the lid. Now both parts keep some decorations when the box is opened.

There's some candy inside the box. I've wrapped it with grey cardstock to not show any brand since some don't seem like to be shown on crafters blogs and you never know which brand belongs to which producer... ;)

Ein kleines Ostergeschenk

Heute gibt es schon wieder Hasen - diesmal aber wirklich österlich umgesetzt. In Form dieser Spitztüte, die mit kleinen Schokoeiern gefüllt ist.

Again I have some bunnies to share - but this time I've used them for an easter project. It's a cone with three sides that's filled with chocolat eggs.

Ich habe die Spitztüte mit der entsprechenden Stanze von JM Creation aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Die Tüte kann man auch problemlos mit mehr als drei Seiten gestalten, aber mir gefiel es so. Aus cremefarbenem Designpapier mit dezentem Blumenmuster habe ich die Aufleger gestanzt und auf die zusammengeklebte Tüte aufgeklebt.

Oben entlang des Randes habe ich blaues Krepp-Papier angeklebt. Es ist mit Heißkleber fixiert und ein wenig in Falten gelegt. 

Das Krepp-Papier habe ich mit weißem Organzaband zugebunden und hier noch einen Tag mit einem Ostergruß mit angebunden. Der Text Frohe Ostern ist aus dem Stempelset Hase mit Herzballon, ausgestanzt habe ich ihn mit einer der Stanzen aus dem Set Schön dass es Dich gibt.

I've used a die by JM Creation to cut the cone from white cardstock. You can easily create this cone using more than just three sides but I liked it that way. The top layers are cut from creme colored cardstock with a soft flower print and glued on top of the finished cone.

Along the top edge I've added some blue crepe paper. It's glued down with my glue gun and I've pleated it a bit while glueing it down.

The crepe paper is tied together with some white organdy ribbon and I've also added a tag with a happy easter saying here.

Und hier kommt endlich der Hase! Er ist, genauso wie die Eier, aus dem Stempelset Hasen und Küken. Die Motive sind mit Copics coloriert und per Hand ausgeschnitten. Dann habe ich sie so auf die Tüte geklebt, dass der Hase über die Eier zu springen scheint. Ich hoffe, er schafft es über alle drei, sonst könnte das blöd ausgehen! Das Schwänzchen des Hasen habe ich übrigens durch einen kleinen, flauschigen Puschel ersetzt.

And finally - here comes the bunny! I've stamped him and the eggs with Copics and cut the images out. Then I've glued them to the cone and now it looks like he's jumping over the eggs. I really hope he's sporty and makes it over all three of them. If not, it might get messy... With the bunny I've replaced his tail with a small, fluffy pompom.

Heute zeige ich auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog eine wirklich fröhlich-bunte Geburtstagskarte. Und dass ganz oft Happy darauf gestempelt ist, macht sie nur noch fröhlicher....

Today I am sharing this really colorful birthday card over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog. And the fact that there is happy stamped onto it several times makes it even brighter...

Für den Hintergrund habe ich zwei verschiedene Kleckse aus dem Stempelset Distressed Patterns von MFT mehrfach neben-/übereinander mit dem In the Buff Stempelkissen, das sehr hell ist, abgestempelt. Dann habe ich die Flächen mit Polychromos von oben nach unten in regenbogenfarbigem Verlauf coloriert. 

Darüber habe ich dann mit schwarzem Embossingpulver den Stempel mit dem dreifachen Happy aus dem Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday Stempelset zweimal untereinander - plus ein zusätzliches Happy - aufembosst. Nach dem Embossen habe ich die Buchstaben noch mit Glossy Accents ausgefüllt. Auf dem Bild kann man das nicht so toll erkennen, aber so wirken sie schön plastisch. Das Glossy Accents hat die lilafarbene Tinte im oberen Bereich ein wenig verfälscht, aber ich finde, das stört bei dem Hintergrund nicht.

Aus dem Birthday Buds Stempelset stammt der Text. Den habe ich - ohne das Happy, denn das ist ja wirklich oft genug auf der Karte enthalten - mit weißem  Embossingpulver auf einen Streifen schwarzen Cardstock embosst und den Streifen dann mit 3D Tape auf die Karte geklebt.

Den Hintergrund habe ich schwarz gemattet und auf eine weiße Karte geklebt.

For the background I've stamped two of the splashes from the Distressed Patterns stap set by MFT several times next to and on top of each other using the In the Buff ink pad which is a very light color. Then I've used my Polychromos to color the splashes in a rainbow look.

On top of this colorful background I've black heat embossed the triple happy stamp from the Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday stamp set twice under each other and added another single happy. After embossing I've also filled the letters with Glossy Accents. You can't see that very good on the photo but now the letters have more dimension. The Glossy Accents changed the purple color in the top are but I think it's no problem with this background.

The saying is from the Birthday Buds stamp set. I've white heat embossed it - minus the happy since there are enough "happy" on this card - onto a strip of black cardstock and glued it to the card with dimensionals.

I've matted the background with black cardstock and glued it onto a white note card.

So hätte mir die Karte schon auch gefallen, aber irgendwie schrie sie doch noch nach einem Motiv. Also habe ich noch den süßen Hasen am Ballon, ebenfalls aus dem Birthday Buds Stempelset, auf die Karte geklebt.

Der Hase ist ebenfalls in der No-Line Coloring Technik mit Polychromos coloriert. Im Luftballon habe ich noch die durchscheinenden Y mit aufgemalt, so wirkt er transparenter. 

I liked the card like that but somehow felt that it needed at least a little image. So I've added the cute bunny with the balloon, also from the Birthday Buds stamp set, to the card.

The bunny is colored doing the No-Lines Technique with Polychromos. I've also lightly drawn the Y underneath the balloon onto it - that makes it look more transparent.

Beim Stempeleinmaleins zeigen wir Euch heute eine Technik mit Strukturpaste. Die kann ja auf verschiedene Weisen verarbeitet werden, und eine davon zeigen wir Euch heute.

Over at Stempeleinmaleins we are sharing a technique using embossing paste today. There are different ways to use this and we picked one of them.

Da ich zwar gerne Hintergründe wische, mit Paste aber eher weniger Erfahrung habe, habe ich mich für einen etwas dezenteren Einsatz entschieden. Aber zumindest kam mal wieder eine meiner vielen Stencils zum Einsatz!

Ich habe die Paste durch die Chevron-Schablone aufgetragen und nach dem Trocknen mit Distress Oxide Hickory Smoke eingefärbt. Zu den Oxides habe ich aus Gewohnheit gegriffen, die "normalen" Distress Inks wären wohl effektvoller gewesen. Aber bis mir das auffiel, war die Karte schon zusammengebaut. 

Den weißen Cardstock habe ich dann schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Since I love to make my own backgrounds but don't have that much experience in using embossing paste I've decided to start with a more soft look. But at least one of my many stencils was finally used again!

I've applied the paste through the chevron stencil and added Distress Oxide Hickory Smoke after the paste had dried. I used the Oxides so often that I grabed them here without thinking. I guess the "regular" Distress Ink would have given a stronger effect. But when I realized that my card was already put together. 

I've matted the white cardstock black and then glued it onto a white note card.

Hier seht Ihr die Kanten der Strukturpaste besser. Ich habe die Farbe darauf absichtlich nicht bis ganz zum Rand hin aufgetragen, um hier noch etwas weißes Muster zu erhalten.

Von vornherein hatte ich eine schwarz-weiß-grau-gelbe Karte vor Augen. Nein, ich bin nicht von der Deutschen Post gesponsort! Aber irgendwie hat es sich dann so ergeben.

Der süße Bär ist von Create a Smile. Ich hatte ja lange überlegt, ob ich den in schwarz colorieren soll. Aber schließlich gibt es auch Schwarzbären, und so schlecht finde ich das Ergebnis gar nicht. Auch wenn das Motiv so doch recht dunkel wirkt. Briefe und Vogel sind auch aus dem Bearmail Stempelset. Das war übrigens auch so eines, um das ich lange rumgeschlichen bin. Heute war ich froh, dass ich es doch gekauft hatte!

Die Textstanzen Post für dich sind alle zusammen aus gleichnamigen Stanzenset von Charlie und Paulchen. Ich habe das Post aus einem Streifen gelben Cardstock gestanzt und schwarz hinterlegt. Das für dich habe ich 4mal aus weißem und einmal aus schwarzem Carstock gestanzt und aufeinander geklebt. So hat die Karte ein wenig Dimension. 

Die Briefe und den Bären habe ich ein wenig hinter das gelbe Banner gesteckt, das "für dich" so aufgeklebt, dass es das "Post" ein wenig überlappt. Dann kamen noch ein paar gelbe Enamel Accents als Deko auf die Karte.

Here you see the edges of the paste a bit better. I've applied the ink on top of the paste on purpose in a way that there are some white areas left since I liked that look.

When I started the card I had a black-white-grey-yellow card in mind. No, I am in no way sponsored by German Post! But it just came together like that.

The cute bear is by Create a Smile. I really thought long if I should color him in black. But there are black bears, right? And I don't think it turned out too bad even if the image really pops on this card. Letters and bird are also from the Bearmail stamp set. That was another one of those that I've been eyeing with for quite a while. Today I really was happy that I've decided to buy it!

The die cut words mean "post for you" and are all from one die set. I've die cut the word Post from a strip of yellow cardstock and put some black cardstoch behind the cut out. The "for you" was die cut  4 times from white and once from black cardstock and stacked on top of each other to add some dimension to the card.

The letters and bear are tucked behind the yellow cardstock strip, the "for you"  I've glued down slightly overlapping the "post". Then I've added a few yellow Enamel Accents to the card.

Ja ist denn heute schon Ostern?

Nein, natürlich nicht! Aber es kann ja nicht schaden, schon mal das noch nicht so schöne Wetter zu nutzen und die Osterbasteleien zu starten. Dann kann man die ersten Sonnenstrahlen draußen ruhigen Gewissens genießen. Und darum zeige ich heute auf dem Stampcorner Blog dieses kleine Ostergoodie. Ich finde, es ist eine nette und schnelle Idee für Kollegen oder Klassenkameraden.

Is it Easter already? No, of course not. But it can't hurt to use the days with the quite bad weather to start on easter gifts. Then you're prepaired can go out and enjoy those first sunny afternoons without any guilt. So I am sharing this little easter gift over at the Stampcorner Blog today. I think it's a cute and quick idea for co-workers or classmates.

Hier habe ich den süßen Hase 2 eingeweiht. Er sitzt im grünen  Gras und genießt das Leben. In meinem Fall bringt er sogar noch Süßigkeiten mit. Die sind in ein langes, schmales Zellophanbeutelchen gesteckt, das ich mit einem Banner verziert habe.

Der Hase ist mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten. 

Das Banner habe ich aus rosafarbenem Designpapier mit weißen Punkten geschnitten und oben am Tütchen festgetackert. Dabei habe ich ein Stück Twine eingefasst, das ich dann zur Schleife gebunden habe.

Der Hase ist auf das Banner geklebt, dahinter habe ich zwei Wolken, gemacht mit der Cute Cloud Outlines Stanze von MFT, geklebt.

Natürlich durfte auch ein Text nicht fehlen. Ich habe kurzerhand den "na dann... frohes Fest!" Stempel aus dem Stempelset Advent, Advent zweckentfremdet. Ich habe den Text zweimal auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und jeweils mit möglichst viel Abstand zu den Worten Frohes und Fest ausgeschnitten. Dazwischen kam ein grünes Banner, rosafarben hinterlegt, aus dem ich mit dem Word Punch Board von We'R'Memory Keepers das Wort Ostern ausgestanzt habe.

Here I've used a cute bunny by Stampcorner. He's sitting in the green grass and enjoys spring. In this case he also brings candy. Those are put into a long cellophane bag and decorated with a banner.

The bunny is colored with Copics and cut out.

The banner is cut from pink designer's paper with white dots and then attached to the bag with a fastener. While attaching the banner to the bag I've also added a piece of white twine and tied that to a bow.

The bunny is glued to the banner, behind him I've added two clouds, made using the Cute Cloud Outlines dies by MFT.

Of course my gift needed a saying. It means "happy easter" in german. I've stamped two words onto white cardstock and glued those onto the banner. In between I've added a green banner, matted with pink cardstock, from which I've punched the word Easter, using the Word Punch Board by We'R'Memory Keepers.

I love those bunny stamps by JM Creation - maybe you've already guessed it. Those are not only great for easter cards. And that's what you can see on today's card.

Für die Karte habe ich mit Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass Wolken auf zwei Stücke weißen Cardstock gewischt, und zwar so, dass sie jeweils an derselben Stelle sind. So sind sie durch das Fenster hindurch fortlaufend. Die Karte hat unten einen Falz, durch den sie stehen kann. Auch hier habe ich eine Wolkenlinie aufgewischt. 

Die vordere Seite der Karte ist blau gemattet, darauf kam einer der Wolkenhintergründe. Aus allen drei Lagen habe ich dann ein Oval ausgestanzt.

For the card I've added some clouds onto two pieces of white cardstock using Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass. I've made both pieces identically so it looks like one background even seen through the cut out. The card has an extra piece with a fold at the bottom so it can stand freely. Also here I've added a cloud border.

The front of the card is matted with blue cardstock, on top of it I've added one of the cloud backgrounds. Then I've die cut an oval out of all three layers.

Dieser Hase im Blumenballon ist einfach zu süß! Ich habe ihn mit Copics coloriert und per Hand ausgeschnitten. Dass ich um jede Blume einzeln herumschneide hatte ich eigentlich gar nicht so geplant, aber irgendwie hat es sich ergeben. Wenn Ihr genau schaut, könnt Ihr die Stege zwischen einigen Blüten/Blättern sehen, die das Motiv trotzdem noch zusammenhalten. Es war einiges an Arbeit, aber die hat sich definitiv gelohnt, finde ich!
Der Hase im Ballon baumelt im ovalen Ausschnitt - und ja, er ist auch beweglich. Ich zeige es Euch gleich.
Seitlich an den Ausschnitt habe ich oben auf die Kartenfront noch zwei Wolken aufgeklebt. Das schnörkelige Design passt so wunderbar zum verträumten Thema.

This bunny in a flower balloon is just the cutest! I've colored it with Copics and cut it out by hand. Initially I hand't planned to cut around each flower/leave but somehow I ended up doing it. If you look closely you can see the tiny pieces of paper I've left to keep the image together as one piece. It was quite a bit of work but so worth it!
The bunny in the balloon is dangling behind the oval cut out - and yes, he can move. I'll show you how in just a bit.
To the sides of the cut out I've added a cloud each onto the front of the card. The swirly design matches great with the dreamy look of this card.

Die Kartenart heißt Swinging Tent Fold Card, die Anleitung habe ich auf YouTube gefunden.

Unten auf der Karte sitzen zwei kleine Freunde des Hasens auf einem Hausdach und winken ihrem Freund.. Ich bin sicher sie bewundern ihn dafür, dass er seinen Traum vom Fliegen wahr gemacht hat. Und gleichzeitig haben sie eine Lektion gelernt: man darf niemals aufgeben zu träumen! Den Text habe ich dann auch, auf ein Banner gestempelt, unten neben das Haus geklebt. Beides, Motiv und Text, kommen zusammen im Set Hasen auf Häuserdach - eigentlich ist das Motiv größer, für mich hat aber dieser Ausschnitt hier gereicht.

At the bottom of the card two friends of this bunny are sitting on a roof, waving him goodbye. I am sure they admire their friend for making true his dream of flying. And the two on the roof also got a lection: never stop believing in your dreams! That's also what the banner I've glued next to the house is saying.

Over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog I am sharing this male birthday card today. But I'm sure there are some women that the card would be perfect for.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich den Number Jumble Hintergrundstempel von MFT mit weißem Embossingpulver auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und dann den Cardstock mit Distress Ink Bundled Sage, Mowed Lawn und Evergreen Bough eingefärbt. Wenn ich embosste Hintergründe einfärbe, nehme ich persönlich lieber die Distress Inks, denn ich finde, die Oxides lassen sich vom Embossingpulver nicht so toll abwischen, es bleibt irgendwie immer ein Schatten davon.

Dann habe ich den Hintergrund schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

For the background I've white heat embossed the Number Jumble background stamp by MFT onto white cardstock, then used Distress Ink Bundled Sage, Mowed Lawn and Evergreen Bough to ink up the white cardstock. When it comes to inking embossed background I prefer the Distress Inks. When I use the Oxides I always find that there's a bit of ink on the embossed areas that I can't get off completly. 

Then I've matted the background with black cardstock and glued it onto a white note card.

Hauptelement auf meiner Karte ist das folierte YOU, das ich mit der You Impress Me Hotfoil-Stanze gemacht habe. Das tolle an den Folien ist, dass man sie auch auf dunklem Cardstock prolbemlos verwenden kann. Das sieht man hier auf dem Bild nicht so doll, weil es direkt von oben aufgenommen ist. Aber die Folie deckt den dunklen Cardstock perfekt ab. Ich habe türkisfarbene Folie zum Folieren verwendet und dann das Wort mit der All About You Stanze ausgestanzt. Das You habe ich dann mit 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Das Let's Celebrate ist aus dem Little Birthday Notes Stempelset, ebenfalls weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst, weiß hinterlegt und auch mit 3D Tape auf die Karte geklebt. Drumherum habe ich ein paar türkisfarbene Enamel Accents aufgeklebt, die auf dem Bild aus irgendeinem Grund blau aussehen.

Main element of this card is the foiled YOU, that I've made using the You Impres Me hotfoil stamp by MFT. The great thing about the foils is that they also can be used on dark cardstock. You can't see that too good on the picture since it's taken from directly above. But the foil covers the cardstock completly. I've used turquoise foil here and then cut out the foild word with the matching All About You die. Then I've glued it onto the background with dimensionals. The Let's Celebrate is from the Little Birthday Notes stamp set, also white heat embossed onto black cardstock, matted white and glued to the card again with dimensionals. Around the text I've glued a few turquoise Enamel Accents that somehow seem blue on the photo.

Here you get a much better look at the foiling.

Die Luftballons sind aus dem Sweet Shop Stempelset. Ich habe sie einmal mit schwarzer Tinte auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und darauf die Ballons türkis coloriert. Dann habe ich weiß die Zahlen darüber embosst und dabei versucht, möglichst genau die Zahlen des Bereichs zu treffen, auf den ich die Ballons aufkleben wollte. Ein wenig Spielraum beim Aufkleben hat man ja zum Glück. Dann habe ich das Motiv per Hand ausgeschnitten.

Außerdem habe ich die Ballons - ohne Schnüre - ein weiteres Mal weiß auf Vellum embosst, ebenfalls ausgeschnitten und über die colorierten Ballons geklebt. Damit man keine Klebepunkte sieht, habe ich sie einmal durch meinen Xyron gedreht. Das Vellum tönt die Farben der Ballons darunter ein wenig runter und durch die weiß aufembossten Zahlen sieht es aus, als würde man durch die Ballons auch den Hintergrund noch erkennen.

Auch die Ballons sind mit 3D Tape auf die Karte geklebt, die Schnüre habe ich mit einem kleinen Klebepunkt am You befestigt.

The balloons are from the Sweet Shop stamp set. I've stamped them onto white cardstock with black ink and colored those. Then I've white heat embossed the numbers from the background stamp onto the balloons, trying to get the numbers from the area I wanted to glue the balloons to. Luckily there's always a bit room to make them fit onto the card. Then I've cut out the image by hand.

I've also white heat embossed the balloons - without the strings - onto Vellum, cut them out and then glued them on top of the colored ones. To avoid any glue being visible I've run the whole piece through my Xyron. The Vellum tones down the colors from the balloons underneath and with the white numbers on the colored balloons it also looks like you can see the background through the balloons. 

Also the balloons are glued onto the card with dimensionals, I've used a tiny bit of glue to attach the strings to the You.

I have another card with one of the new stamp sets by SF Stamps. Here the postie really is in a hurry but well, birthday mail should never be late!

Hier habe ich im Hintergrund ein paar Mal das größere Haus aus dem Häuserset abgestempel und sie ein ganz wenig coloriert. Der Himmel darüber ist mit hellblauer Tinte gewischt.

Oben auf die Karte habe ich das Wort Geburtstagspost gestempelt. 

Der Postbote ist mit Copics coloriert und anschließend ausgeschnitten. Die Briefe oben "auf dem Stapel" sind einzelne Stempel und obenauf gestempelt.

Here I've stamped a house several times in the background and colored them lightly with Copics. The sky above is colored with light blue ink.

To the top of the card I've stamped the word birthday mail.

The postie is colored with Copics and cut out. The letters on top of the pile are individual stamps and masked on the pile.

Zieht man am Tab auf der Seite, dann bewegt sich der Postbote nach links während die Post vom Stapel davon nach rechts fliegt.

If you pull the tab the postie moves to the right while the mail is flying away to the right.

Aufgrund des Schaltjahres gibt es diesen Monat einen weiteren Samstag und so startet heute die neue Sketch Inspiration bei Stempeleinmaleins.

With this being a leap year we have an extra saturday in february. So our newest sketch inspiration over at Stempeleinmaleins starts today.

Ich weiß, das Set Rub-a-Dub-Dub (was ein Wort!) von LawnFawn gibt es schon länger, aber ich habe es mir erst kürzlich gegönnt. Und so habe ich es eingeweiht, denn es passt auch ganz gut zum Sketch.

Meine Karte besteht aus einem Stück weißem Cardstock, das ich im oberen Bereich mit einer Schablone und Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass gekachelt habe, der Boden ist mit Hickory Smoke und einer eigentlich Mauerstein-Schablone grau gefliest.
Der Text ist aus dem Lucky Duck Stempelset von Gerada Steiner. Ich habe ihn schwarz auf weiß gestempelt, türkis hinterlegt und quer über die Karte geklebt.

Das Hintergrundpapier ist helltürkis gemattet und dann auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I know, the Rub-a-Dub-Dub (what a word!) stamp set by LawnFawn is an older one but I just bought it recently. And so I was keen to use it - it's a bonus that I had an idea in mind that went great with the sketch.

My card is made from a piece of white cardstock. In the upper half I've used Distress Oxide Tumbled Glass and a stencil to tile it in light blue, the bottom part is tiled with Hickory Smoke and a brick pattern stencil.
The saying is from the Lucky Duck stamp set by Gerda Steiner. I've stamped it whith black ink onto white cardstock, matted it turquoise and glued it across the card.

I've matted the background with light turquoise cardstock and glued it onto a white note card.

Ich habe den Sketch von Quer- auf Hochformat gedreht. Die drei Elemente, die darauf abgebildet sind, habe ich durch Motive dargestellt - die beiden Entchen links und rechts und die Badewanne. Alle Motive sind mit Copics coloriert, die Wasserpfützen und -tropfen mit türkisfarbener Tinte gestempelt. Dort sowie auf die Blubberblasen habe ich auch einen durchsichtigen Glaze Pen von Sakura darübergelegt. So glänzen sie schön echt. Das gleiche gilt für den Wasserstrahl aus dem Duschkopf.

Die Badewanne ist direkt auf den Hintergrund geklebt, die beiden Entchen rechts und links mit dünnerem 3D Tape, das Schiff dann mit dickerem. So entsteht auf der Karte Tiefe. 

Zum Schluss habe ich noch ein paar türkisfarbene Enamel Accents auf der Karte verteilt.

I've turned the sketch 90 degrees. The three elements on the sketch are done with the images - the two ducks on the left and right and the tub in the middle. 

All images are colored with Copics, the puddles and waterdrops are stamped with turquoise ink and covered with my clear Sakura Glaze Pen to add some shine. Same goes for the bubbles and the water coming from the shower head.

The tub is glued directly onto the card, the ducks on its sides with thin dimensionals, the boat with ticker ones. That adds dimension to the card.

In the end I've also added some turquoise Enamel Accents.

Ebenfalls neu bei SF Stamps ist ein Set mit diesen Kringeln - in veschiedenen Größen. Ich musste dabei sofort an Galaxien denken. Und so ist die Idee zu dieser Karte entstanden.

Another new set by SF Stamps ist this one with the spirals - in different sizes. I immediately had to think of galaxies. And this is how I got the idea for this card.

Ich habe hier zuerst den den Spiralenstempel auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt - den mittleren Bereich mit ganz hellblauer Tinte, den äußeren in etwas dunklerem Blau. Dann habe ich den kompletten Stempel mit Versamark gestempelt und das Design mit klarem Embossinpulver embosst. Dann konnte ich den Hintergrund in dunkleren Blautönen und schwarz wischen und der Kringel war trotzdem gut sichtbar. Die restlichen Sterne am Himmel habe ich mit einem weißen Gelmarker per Hand dazu gemalt. 

An den Beginn des innersten Kringels habe ich mit 3D Tape einen Stern aus silbernem Glitzercardstock geklebt.

Here I've first stamped the spiral onto white cardstock, stamping the middle area with light blue ink and the outer areas with darker blue. Then I've stamped the complete stamp with Versamark and covered it with clear embossing powder. Now I was able to create the background with darker tones of blue and black and the spiral is still visible, kind of glowing. The other stars in the sky are made with a white gelmarker.

To the beginning of the inner spiral I've glued a star punched from silver glitter cardstock and glued down with dimensionals.

Unten auf die Karte habe ich mit schwarzer Tinte Baum-Silhouetten aufgestempelt. Außerdem habe ich hier ein Banner mit dem Text Wünsch Dir was, weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst,quer über die Karte geklebt.

To the lower part of the card I've stamped tree silhouettes with black ink. I've also added a banner with a "make a whish" saying, white heat embossed onto a strip of black cardstock, across the card.

zauBÄRhaft

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Heute zeige ich auf dem Stampcorner Blog endlich eine Karte mit einer der Februar-Neuheiten. Da bei mir der Februar recht vollgepackt ist/war, hatte ich vorgearbeitet und so kommt diese Karte, die schon vor 3 Wochen entstanden ist, erst heute "zum Einsatz". Aber das macht sie ja nicht schlechter, oder?

Over at the Stampcorner Blog I am sharing this card with one of the february release stamp sets. Since february is/was pretty packed for me I was working ahead and so this card, that I've made 3 weeks ago, is only making it's appearance on my blog today. But that doesn't make it less pretty, right?

Bei dem Bärenmotiv passte Honig ganz gut, also habe ich ein Designpapier mit Bienenwaben-Druck aus meinem Vorrat gekramt. Außerdem  habe ich im Hintergrund einige weitere Papiere aufgeklebt - als Rechteck oder Kreise. Ein wenig Cheesecloth kam auch zum Einsatz.

With the bear image I thought of honey so I went through my paper stash and found this designer's paper with a honeycomb print. I've also added some more papers there - as a rectangle and as circles. There's also some cheesecloth inbetween the papers.

Und hier ist der süße Bär aus dem Stempelset Bärige Grüße. Ich finde die Bären klasse, genau weil sie mal nicht so "total süß" gezeichnet sind, einer der Bären wirkt sogar fast ein wenig grummelig. Aber das macht sie perfekt für Männerkarten.

Ich habe den Bär gestempelt, mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten.

Aus dunkelbraunem, hellbraunem und weißem Cardstock habe ich das mittelgroße Sechseck aus dem Blueprints 33 Stanzenset von MFT gestanzt. Auf das weiße habe ich Gras gemalt, einige Pflanzen im Hintergrund sowie ein kleines Bienchen aufgestempelt. Dann habe ich den Bären daraufgeklebt.

Im Stempelset ist ein Text "zauBÄRhaften Geburtstag" enthalten. Die Idee, das Bär hier im Text zu integrieren, finde ich klasse. Da meine Karte aber keine Geburtstagskarte sein sollte, habe ich nur das zau und das haft mit Abstand auf ein Banner gestempelt. Das BÄR - oder besser BAR - habe ich mit den Wedding Alphabet Stanzen von XCut aus dunkelbraunem Cardstock gestanzt und die Punkte auf dem A mit gelben Enamel Accents gemacht. Davon kamen auch noch einige auf die Karte.

Dann habe ich das BÄR zwischen zau und haft geklebt und so auf die Karte geklebt, dass es aussieht, als würde der Bär auf dem gestanzten Wort stehen.

And here's the cute bear. I love this set, right because it isn't draw in such a cute way. One of the bears even seems to be a bit grumpy what makes them perfect for man's card.

I've stamped the bear, colored him with Copics and then cut him out.

From dark and middle brown as well as white cardstock I've die cut the middle sized hexagon from the Blueprints 33 die set by MFT. Onto the white I've drawn some grass, added a few stamped plants in the background and a little bee. Then I've glued the bear on top.

So, how to translate the saying. Zauberhaft means magical but also something like cute. Bär - with an ä - is the german word for bear. So zauBÄRhaft ist a combination of both words. There's a birthday saying with this word in it included in the set. Since I hadn't planned this to be a birthday card I've only used the zaubärhaft from the saying and only stamped the zau and the haft onto a banner with quite some space inbetween them. The BÄR was die cut with the Wedding Alphabet die set by XCut and I replaced the dots on the Ä with two yellow Enamel Accents. Of those I've also added a few to the rest of the card.

Then I've glued the die cut letters between the stamped zau and haft to create one word, glued the banner to the card and made the bear stand on top of those die cut letters.

Hase und Hase

Auf der Kreativmesse in München wird es natürlich auch die ein oder andere Neuheit geben. Ich zeige Euch heute zwei Karten mit den Osterhasenstempeln von SF Stamps.

There will be a craft show in Munich this weekend and for sure there will be quite a few new items for sale. I am going to share with you two cards with the easter bunny stamp set by SF Stamps.

Bei dieser ersten Karte habe ich einen der Stempel mal nicht österlich verarbeitet. Es ist eine klassische One Layer Card, die ich braun gemattet und auf einen hellblauen Kartenrohling geklebt habe.

For this first card I've used one of the stamps for a non-easter card. It's a simple one layer card that I've matted with kraft cardstock and glued onto a light blue note card.

Ich habe mit Distress Ink Tumbled Glass einen Bereich in der Mitte leicht hellblau eingefärbt. Dann habe ich das Motiv gestempelt, mit Copics coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Ich habe es auf den blau eingefärbten Bereich geklebt und mit Copics darunter/darumherum eine kleine Blumenwiese aufgemalt. 

Die Schmetterlinge sind aus einem anderen neuen Stempel ausgeschnitten. Den seht Ihr gleich auch noch. ;)

Mit der Freunde-Stanze habe ich das Wort Freunde aus hellblauem Cardstock gestanzt, mit kraftfarbenem Cardstock hinterlegt (per Hand geschnitten) und ebenfalls auf die Karte geklebt. Darunter kam ein Spruch aus dem Stempelset Geschwisterliebe.

I've used Distress Ink Tumbled Glass to lighly color in an are in the middle. Then I've stamped the image, colored it with Copics and cut it out. I've glued it onto the blue area and used my Copics again to create a meadow under/around the image.

The butterflies are from another new stamp that you'll see on my next card.

The die cut word means friends, the stamped text underneath forever in my heart. I've die cut the word friend from light blue cardstock, matted it with kraft colored cardstock (cut by hand), glued it onto the card and stamped the rest of the text underneath.

Und hier ist meine zweite Hasenkarte, diesmal österlich. Es ist eine Easel Card mit Ausschnitt.

And this is the second bunny card for today, this time I've made an easter card. It's an easel card with a cut out behind the image.

Ich habe die Front der Karte mit rosa-grau gemustertem Designpapier beklebt. Die Karte selbst ist aus weißem Cardstock gearbeitet. 

I've covered the front of the card with grey and pink patterned paper, the card itself is made from white cardstock.

In der Mitte der Karte ist ein ovaler Ausschnitt, in dem der Hase befestigt ist. Ihr könnt es ganz leicht erkennen, der ist an einem schmalen Streifen Folie befestigt, die ich zwischen weißem Cardstock und Designpapier befestigt habe. Unter dem Hasen ist auch noch etwas Gras. 

Der Hase selbst bringt einen frühlingshaften Strauß Osterglocken. Die gibt es auch in Pink, ich habe extra gegoogelt. 

Am Rahmen habe ich zwei Schmetterlinge aufgeklebt. Die sind aus Vellum gestanzt, das ich mit glitzenderndem, klarem Embossingpulver überzogen habe.

Unten auf der Karte habe ich noch ein aus grünem Cardstock gestanztes Hallo aufgeklebt.

There's a cut out in the middle of the card that is used as a frame for the bunny. You can barely see it - but there's a strip of acetate put between the white cardstock and the designer's paper. That holds the bunny in place. There's also some grass under the bunny.

He's bringing some spring-ish daffodils. And yes, those are also exciting in pink, I've checked that.

To the frame I've added two butterflies, cut from Vellum that I've covered with clear, sparkly embossing powder. 

To the bottom of the card I've added a die cut hello, cut from green cardstock.

Und auch das Innere der Karte habe ich dekoriert. Der Ostergrüße-Text kommt mit den Hasen im Set. Der Rahmen außenrum ist ebenfalls ein neuer Stempel. Ich habe ihn passend zu den Farben auf der Karte mit Copics coloriert.

And also the inside of the card is decorated. The text means "easter greetings". And the frame is also a new stamp that I've stamped with black cardstock and colored with colors matching the front of the card.
