Stampavie and more # 95

Dies ist bereits meine 3. Karte als Gastdesigner bei Stampavie and More - Kinders, wohin geht die Zeit nur?! Diesmal haben wir das Thema "flower power". Und natürlich mußte dafür ein Motiv mit Blumen und auch Blumen auf der Karte her.

This is my 3rd card as a guest designer for Stampavie and More - oh my, where does time go?! We have the theme of "flower power" for the new challenge. And of course I had to use an image with flowers and paper flowers on my card.

Und auch zur Challenge bei Copic Creations paßt die Karte, denn dort ist das Thema "monochromes Colorieren". Ich habe Brauntöne verwendet und nur einen Touch blau für die Blumen - ein wenig Farbe mußte einfach sein.

And my card is also fitting the theme over at Copic Creations which is "monochrome coloring". I went with a bunch of different brown tones and only added a little bit of blue for the flowers - just had to use a bit of color too.

Und zu guter Letzt ist da noch die aktuelle Challenge bei Die Cut Dreams, bei der Spitze verwendet werden soll.

And last but not least there is the challenge over at Die Cut Dreams where they want us to include lace in our project.

Die süße "Lady im Training" - der Text ist mir ganz spontan dazu eingefallen und darum habe ich ihn mir mit dem PC ausgedruckt - ist von SCACD. Das Kronenpapier von Magnolia war einfach perfekt dazu, in Farbe und Motiv. Die Perlenkette habe ich mit dem Perlenpen "ausgemalt" und mit dem selben Pen auch ein paar Perlen neben die Blumen gesetzt. Die Ränder der Papiere sind teilweise mit dem Edge Distresser bearbeitet, teilweise mit weißer Farbe betupft.

The cute "lady in training" - the text came to my mind when I looked at that image and so I printed it with my computer - is by SCACD. The paper with those little crowns is by magnolia and it was perfect with the image - in color and design. I colored her necklace in with a perl pen and added some little perls with the same pen next to the flowers. The edges of the papers are either distressed with the Edge Distresser or covered with white acrylic paint.

Oh, wie die Zeit vergeht - es ist schon wieder Montag! Schön, denn das heißt es ist Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Cupcake Craft! Diesmal mit dem Thema "Blooming Charming" - und ja, Ihr habt es erraten: wir möchten Blumen und Charms sehen!

Oh, how time flies by... - it´s monday again! Wonderful, because it means it´s time for a new challenge at Cupcake Craft! This week we have the theme of "blooming charming". Yes, you guessed it right: we want to see flowers and charms!

Schon wieder zwei Wochen rum? Ja, und somit gibt es auch bei Roses On Paper eine neue Challenge! Diesmal geht es um das Thema Geschenke. Ihr könnt eine Geschenkverpackung, ein kleines Set, eine Box oder was immer Euch zu diesem Thema einfällt machen.

Two weeks have passed again? Yes, and so it´s also time for a new challenge over at Roses On Paper! This week it´s all about "gifts". You can make a gift bag, a box, a matching set or whatever you think would fit this theme.

Ich habe ein kleines Album gemacht, denn ich weiß nie, wie ich Fotos schön verpackt verschenken kann ohne daß der Beschenkte in Fotorahmen versinkt, die ihm vielleicht gar nicht gefallen...

I made a little album because I never know how to give away photos in a nice "wrapping". And I also don´t want to give away a bunch of photo frames the recipent probably don´t likes... So, this album is the solution!

Einen wunderschönen Sonntag Euch allen! Es ist Zeit für meine zweite Karte als DT-Mitglied bei Magnolia Down Under und diesmal haben wir eine tolle Farbvorgabe für Euch: schwarz, weiß/creme und eine weitere Farbe Eurer Wahl.
Bei schwarz und weiß habe ich sofort an die Piratenstempel von Magnolia gedacht - und dazu konnte dann nur rot passen.

Happy sunday to all of you! It´s time for my second card as a DT member at Magnolia Down Under and we have a color dare for you this week: black, white/cream and an additional color of your choice.
When I read black and white those cute pirate images by Magnolia came to my mind - and the perfect color to go with them was red.

Ich habe auf meiner Karte "Tilda With Jolly Roger" und das "Castle Window" verwendet. Das Piratenschiff und der Spruch sind von Stampin´Up. Das Schiff habe ich gestempelt, gescannt und dann invertiert, da es eigentlich ein weißes Schiff auf schwarzem Hintergrund ist. Dann habe ich es ausgeschnitten und den Hintergrund im Fenster mit Copics und dem Airbrush System coloriert.
Die Spitzenbordüre habe ich mit Glimmer Mist rot gefärbt. Der Totenkopf ist von der "Indie Art" Circut Cartridge. Und die Papiere sind von Magnolia.

I used "Tilda With Jolly Roger" and "Castle Window" by Magonlia. The pirate ship and the sentiment are by Stampin´Up. I stamped the ship, scanned it and inverted it since it originally is a white ship on a black background. Then I cut it out and airbrushed the background with Copics and the Airbrush System.
I used red Glimmer Mist to color the lace red. The skull comes from "Indie Art" Cartridge, cut with my Cricut.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 15.05.2010

Hallo und einen wunderschönen Samstag! Es ist endlich Wochenende - und somit auch wieder Zeit für eine neue Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins. Diesmal mit einem tollen Geschenkedisplay von Tanja/Stempelmagie.

Hello and happy saturday to all of you! The weekend has finally come - and so also the time for a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins. Today we have a gift display for you, made by Tanja/Stempelmagie.

Erinnert Ihr Euch an diese Karte, zu der ich noch ein passendes Geschenk machen wollte? Nun, hier ist es - und das Display war natürlich die perfekte Verpackung dafür.
Ich habe zwei Babybodies bestempelt und mit Copics ausgemalt - alles farblich aufeinander abgestimmt. Der Name des Empfängers rundet das ganze dann noch ab...
Auf dem Display habe ich nur einen Teil des Lili Of The Valley Stempels abgedrückt.

Do you remember this card that I wanted to go with a matching gift? Well, here´s the gift - and display was the perfect packaging for it.
I bought two baby onesies, stamped on them and colored them in with my Copics - matching the colors on each of the projects. The name of the little one was the perfect finishing touch...
I only stamped a bit of the Lili Of The Valley stamp on the circle I used to decorate the display.

Bei PaperPlay heißt es diesmal "braun und...." - es soll braun und eine oder auch mehrere andere Farben verwendet werden.

At PaperPlay they want us to use "brown and...." what means brown and one - or more - other colors.

Just Magnolia macht diesmal "one for the girls" - also etwas für Mädchen/Damen.

Stamp Something hat der neuen Challenge das Thema "celebrate something" gegeben, und entstehen soll also etwas festliches.

Und bei Totally PaperCrafts geht es diesmal um das Thema Hochzeit oder Jahrestag.

Ich habe "Lady Tilda" von Magnolia verwendet. Das gestempelte Motiv habe ich abgedeckt und mit caramelfarbenem Glimmermist besprüht, was den glitzernden Hintergrund ergab. Die Papiere sind aus dem "Ella Blue" Stack von GCD, einem Papierblock mit doppelseitigen Papieren in Braun und Blau, die wunderschön aufeinander abgestimmt sind.

"Sweet Treats" lautet das Thema bei Charisma Cardz - und es muß etwas eß- oder trinkbares auf der Karte zu sehen sein. Nun, wenn da Wetter schön wäre, hätte ich sicher Lust auf eine kühle Limo...

"Sweet Treats" - that´s what the new challenge over at Charisma Cardz is called and you have to use something to eat or drink. Well, if the weather was nice and sunny I for sure would love a glass of fresh lemonade...

Und bei Cute Card Thursday heißt es "someone special", also eine Karte für jemand besonderen. Ist nicht jeder etwas besonderes? Aber diese hier geht an einen Freund, der uns immer leckere Cocktails zaubert.

At Cute Card Thursday your card has to be made for someone special? Isn´t everybody something special? But this one is going to a good friend who loves to make us some yummy cocktails.

Wunderschönen Donnerstag, Feiertag und - für den Fall daß sich der ein oder andere Mann hierher verirren sollte auch - Vatertag!
Dies ist meine zweite Woche als Gastdesigner für Hanna and Friends und diesmal gibt es diesen tollen Sketch von Manu:

Tja, nun ist es soweit: die Freundinnen meiner Großen rufen bei mir an und fragen "nach der Karte aus dem Mai 2009 auf dem Blog Deiner Mom". So geschehen letzten Sonntag, als eine Freundin fragte, ob ich die Karte mit den süßen Affen noch habe. Nein, die war schon verschenkt, aber ich habe ihr versprochen eine neue mit den "Birthday Monkeys" von Stampavie für sie zu machen. Tja, und das ist nun dabei herausgekommen. Da ich nicht wußte, ob die Karte für eine Sie oder einen Er sein sollte, habe ich sie farblich mal neutral gehalten. Der Kreis mit dem Muffin darauf ist mit dem Paper Tagger befestigt, so daß er schön hin und her schaukelt.
Die Papiere sind alle von DCWV.

Last sunday my oldest daughter´s phone was ringing and a friend of her asked about "that card on your mom´s blog from may 2009". She wanted to know if I still have it... Sorry, no, I gave it away but I promised to make her a new one using the cute "Birthday Monkeys" by Stampavie because they were the reason why she picked that card. And here you can see the result. I didn´t know if she wanted that card for a male or a female so I kept it quite neutral in colors. The circle with the cupcake is fixed with the Paper Tagger so it is swinging from one side to the other.
All papers are DCWV.

Stampavie and more # 94

Hier bin ich mit meiner zweiten Karten als Gastdesigner bei Stampavie and more. Diesmal haben wir das tolle Thema "pink". Wobei eine Karte ganz in Pink doch nicht so einfach ist, wie es vielleicht klingt - habe ich festgestellt. Doch nach etwas überlegen und probieren bin ich mit dem Ergebnis wirklich sehr zufrieden.

Here I am to show you my second card as a guest designer for Stampavie and more. We have the great theme of "pink" this week. Well, I found out that making an all-over pink card isn´t that easy as it may sound - but after some thinking and trying I am really pleased with my card.

Das süße Motiv ist von "The Greeting Farm" und endlich habe ich es verwendet. Ich bin mir immer nicht ganz sicher, ob die Lady erschrocken schaut oder ob sie gerade ein Küßchen verschicken will. Aber der "oops I did it again"-Text gefiel mir so gut für eine "Geburtstag vergesssen" Karte, daß ich mich hier für erstere Variante entschieden habe.

The cute image is by "The Greeting Farm" and I finally inked her up. I´m not sure if the lady is looking scared or if she is going to send a kiss your way. But I loved that "oops I did it again" text so much for a belated birthday card that I went with the scared part here.

Hallo und schönen Dienstag - wenn er auch schon fast rum ist. Trotzdem habe ich noch eine Karte für Euch. Sie ist nach diesem Sketch vom Whiff Of Joy Tutorial Blog:

Hello and happy tuesday - even if a lot of it has passed. But I have a card to show you tough. I made it using this sketch from Whiff Of Joy Tutorial Blog:



Außerdem habe ich das Rezept von A Spoon Full Of Sugar verwendet: 3 Papiere und 3 Knöpfe.

I also used the recipe from A Spoon Full Of Sugar: 3 papers and 2 buttons.

Und das Thema der Stempelträume habe ich auch umgesetzt: Fliepi-Look. Okay, ich gebe zu, daß ich damit total überfordert war. Fliepi? Aber ich war damit zum Glück nicht allein und nun haben sie eine Erklärung dazu gestellt: gepunktet oder mit Fliegenplizen. Und da fällt einem dann auf, daß Fliepi eine Abkürzung für FLIEgenPIlz sein könnte. Also, auf zu rot-weiß und Punkten - und das Papier von Magnolia kam auch noch ganz gelegen!

I also included the theme over at Stempelträume: Fliepi-Look. Okay, I have to admit that I totally struggled with this. Fliepi? But I wasn´t alone with this and now they posted a definition of it: use red and white or death caps. Well, after a bit of thinking I realized that Flie-Pi could come from FLIE-gen-PI-lz, which is the german word for death cap. So I got out my red markers and that paper by Magnolia was perfect!

Der Stempel auf meiner Karte ist "Uru mit Vogel" von Whiff Of Joy - ich habe aber den Vogel und die Ilex-Blätter am Hut vor dem Stempel abgewischt und anschließend per Hand das Herz und den Fliegenpilz gezeichnet. Das Vogelhaus, das eigentlich davor steht, habe ich gleich beim Montieren des Stempels abgeschnitten - dazustempeln kann ich es immer noch.
Die kleinen Fliegenpilze sind von Stampin´Up.

The stamp on my card is "Uru With Bird" by Whiff Of Joy - but I removed the ink from the bird and those holly leaves that hang from the hat. After stamping I added the heart and the death cap by hand. When I was mounting the stamp I cut off the bird house that is originally standing in front of Uru - I can always add it but also use it as a extra stamp.
Those little death caps are by Stampin´Up.

Cupcake Craft # 90

Montag ist Cupcake Craft Tag - und natürlich ist auch heute keine Ausnahme. Diesmal lautet das neue Thema "Buttons" - Plural, also hätten wir gerne mehr als nur einen Knopf... ;O)

Ich habe mit meinen Mädels eine Runde gebastelt und dabei endlich diese Karte fertig gemacht. Mit dem Motiv hatte ich schon Freitag angefangen...

Bei Just Magnolia lautet das Thema "it takes two" - und es sollen mindestens zwei verschiedene Magnolia-Motive verwendet werden, wobei Texte nicht zählen. Ich habe "Prince Edwin" aus der neuen Fairy Tale Kollektion, den Hocker des Grand Pianos und die Noble Tilda, beide aus der Raising the Ceiling Kollektion, kombiniert. Von Tilda´s Schuh habe ich vor dem Stempeln die Tinte abgewischt, so daß es aussieht, als hätte sie keinen an...

At Just Magnolia the theme is "it takes two" - and you have to use at least two Magnolia stamps - sentiments don´t count. I combined "Prince Edwin" from the new Fairy Tale collektion, the seat of the "Grand Piano" and "Noble Tilda", both from Raising the Ceiling Collection. Before stamping I removed the ink from Tilda´s shoe so it looks like she is barefoot...

Und bei Charisma Cardz dreht sich alles um das Thema Hochzeit. Nun ja, das ist keine klassische Hochzeitskarte, aber in dem Moment wo der Prinz Aschenputtel den Schuh anzieht steht fest, daß sie bald heiraten werden. Also sollte das doch passen, oder?

And at Charisma Cardz it´s all about wedding. Well, I know that my card seems to have nothing to do with that. But in the moment Cinderella´s shoe fits it is clear that they will marry soon. So this should fit, right?

Tilda´s Ohrringe habe ich mit dem Perlenpen "ausgemalt", das Band rund um Edwin´s Jacke ist mit Spica Pens verziert.

Bei den Daring Cardmakers ist es wieder Zeit für die Geburtsstein-Challenge - diesmal mit dem Emerald. Und der hat ein sattes grün... Nicht unbedingt meine Farbe, aber ich habe doch wirklich viel davon verwendet.

At Daring Cardmakers it´s time for another birthstone challenge - and for may this is the Emerald. It´s color is a quite bright green... No really the color I prefer but I really used a lot of it on my card.

Und dann bin ich noch über den Stempelsonnen-Challengeblog gestolpert. Den kannte ich noch gar nicht! Das aktuelle Thema dort ist eine "Karte für ein Kind".

Ich habe Bronzing Beauty von Belles´n´Whistles verwendet. Könnt Ihr sehen, wie viel Farbe sie beim Sonnen schon bekommen hat. Und ein paar Sommersprossen sind in ihrem Gesicht auch aufgetaucht...

Wie immer gibt es auch ein "please include" - diesmal etwas Recyceltes. Beim Putzen fand ich diese Filzsterne ganz hinten unter einem Schrank. Sie waren in der Weihnachtsdeko und die Katzen hatten sie sich als Spielzeug geschnappt...

As always they also have a "please include" - this time it´s something recycled. While cleaning I found these felt stars underneath one of our closets. They were included in the christmas decoration and it seems like the cats picked them for playing...

Die Magnolia-Bestellung ist endlich eingetroffen - nachdem aufgrund von Computerproblemen bei Magnolia einige Bestellungen den Bestellern nicht zugeordnet werden konnten. Meine Bestellung war leider darunter. Alle Vorbestellungen werden nun versendet!
Und ich mußte natürlich gleich einen der neuen Stempel verwenden...

PaperPlay hat diesmal das Thema "Stempel und Glitzer". Ich habe die Knöpfe von Edwin mit kupferfarbenen Stickles und die Schnalle am Gürtel mit silberfarbenem Spica Glitterpen überzogen.

Ich habe "Captain Edwin" und auch die "Pirate Note" für die Karte verwendet. Auch das Motivpapier links vom Motiv ist von Magnolia: "Old Book". Das Hintergrundpapier war ein kleiner Rest, den ich von irgendwann mal übrig hatte und der einfach perfekt war. Der Text ist handgeschrieben...

I used Captain Edwin and Pirate Note by Magnolia for this card. Also the patterned paper on the left of the image is by Magnolia: Old Book. The background paper was a left over piece from ages ago but it was perfect for this card. The saying is handwritten.

Hanna and Friends # 43

Gestern habe ich Euch meine erste Karte als Gastdesigner bei Stampavie and more gezeigt - und heute kommt meine erste Karte für Hanna and Friends, für die ich ebenfalls im Mai Gastdesigner sein darf.
Für diese Challenge lautet die Aufgabe, einen "folded envelope" zu machen. Das ist ein auffaltbarer Umschlag mit eingearbeiteter Tasche für Gutscheine oder auch Geld. Natürlich gibt es die Anleitung dazu auf dem Blog. Und der Umschlag kam genau richtig, denn nächste Woche ist bei uns Kommunion. Meine Kinder sind zwar allesam ungetauft, aber sie haben genug Freunde, denen man eine Kleinigkeit schenken kann.

Yesterday I presented you my first card as a guest designer for Stampavie and more - and today I am showing you my first card for Hanna and Friends, where I have been picked as a guest designer for may either.
The theme of this challenge is to make a folded envelope. Of course all instructions needed are posted on the blog too. It´s an envelope you can open up and that has a little pocket included for a gift voucher or some cash. And this one came right in time because there´s communion comming next week. My girls are all unbaptized but they have a bunch of friends that may get a little something.

Natürlich ist auch Platz zum Schreiben von ein paar Zeilen eingeplant. Ich habe das Blatt mit ein paar Schnörkeln von Stampin´Up und der süßen Mini-Pfarrerin von Magnolia verziert:

Of course there also room for a little note. I decorated the white sheet of paper with some flourishes by Stampin´Up and this cute mini-Tilda by Magnolia:

Auf der Banderole habe ich eine Tilda aus der Weihnachtskollektion 2008 (also, glaube ich) verwendet. Den Kranz in ihren Haaren habe ich grün coloriert und mit einigen weißen Punkten versehen, die aussehen wie Schleierkraut. Die Röschen sind mit Glimmer Mist bestäubt und glitzern toll. Der Text ist von Stempel-Phantasien, das doppelseitige Papier aus dem Cardstock Stack von Laura Ashley.

On the banderole I used this cute Tilda from the 2008 christmas collection (well, at least I think it was 2008). I colored the wreath in her hair in green and added some tiny white dots to make them look like baby´s breath. The roses are covered with Glimmer Mist and are sparkling like crazy. Saying is by Stempel-Phantasien, the doublesided paper from Laura Ashley´s Cardstock Stack.

Whiff Of Joy # 78 und ein Versuch

Hier bin ich nochmal - diesmal mit einem Album. Ich habe es für meine Große gemacht, als Erinnerung an ihren Abschlußball. Nur die Fotos fehlen noch. Die Vorderseite habe ich nach dem neuen Sketch von Whiff Of Joy gestaltet:

Here I am again - this time I want to show you an album. I made it for my oldest as a memory for her prom night. There are only the photos missing. The front was made following the new sketch from Whiff Of Joy:

Auch der Stempel ist von Whiff Of Joy. Ich habe die Tinte vom Sektglas, das normalerweise in der Hand der jungen Dame ist, vor dem Stempeln abgewischt und anschließend einen Blumenstrauß darüber gestempelt.

Also the stamp is by Whiff Of Joy. Before stamping I removed the ink from the champagne glass that this lady is normaly holding and gave her some flowers in the next step.

Ich wollte so ein Album schon länger probieren, hatte aber keine Anleitung oder Maße. Aber es ging. Wenn man es aufklappt, sind zwei weitere "Klappen" zu sehen. Auf den Vorderseiten habe ich ein paar Informationen zusammengeschrieben:

Das Motiv ist einer der Sarah Kay Stempel aus der neuesten Kollektion von Stampavie: Lynette collecting her vegetables. Um es gegen das recht farbenfrohe Papier besser ankommen zu können, habe ich eine Schicht Crystal Accents darüber gelegt. Die Papiere sind von Prima, der Text von Studio G, zusammengebastelt aus zwei verschiedenen Sprüchen.

The image is one of the Sarah Kay stamps from the latest collection from Stampavie: Lynette collecting her vegetables. Since the papers are quite bright I didn´t want the image to not be the focus point and so I added a layer of Crystal Accents over it. Papers are Prima, saying by Studio G, made from 2 different stamps.

Wunderschönen Montag morgen Euch allen! Es ist wieder Zeit für eine unserer zweiwöchigen Challenges bei Roses on Paper. Diesmal mit einer Farbvorgabe: orange, rosa und gelb. Ich mußte etwas suchen, um die richtigen Papiere zu finden - aber dann hat die Challenge wirklich Spaß gemacht!

Bei uns hat die Sonne so schön geschienen als ich die Karte machte, daß ich einfach etwas sommerliches machen mußte. Dazu habe ich eine meiner allerersten Tildas auf das große Gänseblümchen gesetzt.

The sun was shining so nice while I made this card that I had to make someting summer-ish. So I sat one of my very first Tilda stamps on top of the big daisy.

Just Magnolia # 53 und Creative Card Crew # 49

Oh, da habe ich aber lange nicht gepostet - zumindest für meine Verhältnisse! Aber das Tanzfinale und der Kindergeburtstag meiner Mädels haben mich voll in Beschlag genommen. Und Familie kommt dann doch immer noch vor dem Basteln.
Aber heute gibt es eine neue Karte von mich, die nach dem Sketch von Just Magnolia entstanden ist:

Oh, that was a long time no posting - at least for me! But the final of a dance contest my oldest took part in with her group (and they won!!!) and the birthday party for my girls took all my time. And it´s still the family being the most important part of my life.
But today I have a new card to show you. It was made following this sketch by Just Magnolia:



Und das Thema bei der Creative Card Crew lautet: April showers bring may flowers. Dafür hatte ich den passenden "Spruch-Stempel". Und auch Tilda mit dem Regenschirm paßt da natürlich perfekt.

And the theme over at Creative Card Crew is "april showers bring may flowers". I had the perfect sentiment stamp for this. And also Tilda with umbrella goes so wonderfully with this.

Ich habe beim Colorieren versucht, das Licht von vorne kommen zu lassen (irgendwie mache ich es sonst immer automatisch so, daß das Licht von rechts kommt), aber irgendwie habe ich das nicht so hinbekommen, wie ich gerne möchte... :o(

While coloring in the image I tried to make it look like the light coming from the front - somehow I always tend to make it come from the right. But the result is not as good as I wanted it to be... :o(
