Bei Lovely Hänglar ist auch die zweite Challenge gestartet - mit dem wundervollen Thema "shabby chic".

Stamp With Fun hat diese Woche das Thema "Märchen" ausgesucht. Ich hatte Peterchen´s Mondfahrt im Kopf, als ich meine Karte bastelte. Erst später ist mir aufgefallen, daß es dort ja eigentlich um einen Mai- und nicht einen Marienkäfer geht...

Stamp With Fun picked the theme of "fairytales" for their new challenge. I had "Peter´s journey to the moon" (my translation of the german title) in mind when I made the card. Later i realized that this is a story about a maybug and not a ladybug...

Und bei Kreative Stempelfreunde - dem Nachfolge-Blog von Just Christmas And Birthday Cards - gibt zur ersten Challenge eine Farbkombi: rosa und braun.

Cupcake Craft # 95

Es ist Montag, eine neue Woche beginnt. Und natürlich beginnt sie wieder mit einer neuen Challenge bei Cupcake Craft. Diesmal war ich dran, das Thema zu wählen. Nächsten Montag hat mein Schwiegervater Geburtstag und um sicherzugehen, die Karte rechtzeitig fertig zu haben, habe ich das Thema "one for the boys" gewählt.

It´s monday, a new week has started. And of course it started with a new challenge over at Cupcake Craft. This week it was my turn to choose the theme. My father in law´s birthday will be next monday and to make sure to have his card ready in time I picked "one for the boys" as my theme.

Magnolia Down Under - my girls´ entries

Habt Ihr die Karte unserer Gast-Designerin bei Magnolia Down Under gesehen? Sie ist fantastisch - und als ich erfahren habe, daß Kloe erst 10 Jahre alt ist war ich sprachlos. Ich habe meinen Mädels davon erzählt - und jetzt wollten auch sie unbedingt eine Karte für die Challenge machen... Also haben wir einen Bastel-Nachmittag eingelegt.

Have you seen our guest designer´s card over at Magnolia Down Under? It´s amazing - and when I read that Kloe is just 10 years old I´ve been spechless. I told my girls about her - and now they wanted to make a card for our new challenge so bad. So we had a fun afternoon in my craftroom.

Die Mädes haben alles selbst ausgesucht - die Stempel, die Farben, die Papiere und sogar die Layouts sind nach selbstgezeichneten Sketchen entstanden. Ja ja, man sieht, sie lernen von mir, und das nur beim Zuschauen. Und sogar auf ein Wasserzeichen haben sie bestanden! ;O)

The girls picked everything on their own - stamps, colors, papers and even the layouts were made after sketches they drew themselves. Oh well, you can see, they are learning from watching my crafting. They even wanted me to add a watermark to the photo! ;O)

Die einzige Hilfe, die sie von mir bekommen haben war das Herunterreichen der Gläser vom hohen Regal. Ich bin sicher, Opa wird sich über seine Geburtstagskarten freuen! Und die Mädels wären über einen lieben Kommentar wahnsinnig glücklich - danke schonmal!

The only help I gave them was reaching them the glasses I store my flowers in because they are put on a high shelf. I am sure granpa will be very happy about his soon to get birthday cards! And you would make my girls´ day if you leave them a comment - thanks in advance!

Magnolia Down Under # 50

Diese Woche feiern wir bei Magnolia Down Under die 50. Challenge - und dafür haben wir neben einem tollen Thema nicht nur einen, sondern gleich zwei tolle Preise! Das Thema lautet "swirly swirls" - also schnörkelig. Und das paßt ja zu fast jedem Magnolia Motiv - also macht mit!

This week we at Magnolia Down Under are celebrating the 50th challenge - and therefor we do not only have a great theme but also not one but two great prices! Our theme this week is "swirly swirls". And swirls go perfectly with nearly every Magnolia image - so join us!

Das Motiv ist aus der letzten Weihnachtskollektion, aber sicher das ganze Jahr einsetzbar. Auch die Papiere sind von Magnolia: Wrapped und Old Book. Der kleine schnörkelige Tag und die Schnörkel um das Motiv sind von Stampin´Up, die Knöpfe habe ich mit dem Kreisstanzer gemacht.

The image I used is from last year´s christmas collection but for sure a great image to be used all year long. Also the papers are by Magnolia: Wrapped and Old Book. The little swirly tag and the flourishes around the image are by Stampin´Up, I used a small circle punch to make the buttons.

Und bei Stamp Something lautet das Thema "Happy Something" - macht etwas, das jemand anderen glücklich macht. Wer freut sich nicht über eine schöne Karte "just for you"...

And at Stamp Something they want us to make a little "happy something" - meaning something that makes someone else happy. Who is not going to be happy by recieving a nice card "just for you"...

Bei Stampavie and More lautet das Thema Punkte - und paßt somit ideal mit dem der Charisma Cardz zusammen, wo es um Punkte und Streifen geht.

At Stampavie and More the actual challenge is called "dots" - and is going perfectly with the one over at Charisma Cardz where they want us to include dots and stripes.

Und bei Totally PaperCrafts gehts es diesmal um "animal magic" - also etwas tierisches. Mein Vogel ist zwar klein, dafür kann er aber wunderschön singen!

And at Totally PaperCrafts it´s all about "animal magic" - so use an animal on your card. The bird on my card is quite little but it can sing wonderfully!

So, und jetzt geht es gleich nochmal ins Freibad - Sonne genießen!

Sketch and Stash # 37, Simon Says recipe, Sir Stampalot june challenge, Your Next Stamp # 18 und Wednesdays Challenges

Schönen Donnerstag Euch allen! Diese Karte wolle ich Euch schon gestern zeigen, aber irgenwie bin ich nicht rechtzeitig fertig geworden und dann war das Licht zum Fotografieren weg. Darum also heute... Sie ist nach dem Sketch von Sketch and Stash entstanden:

Happy thursday! I wanted to show you this card yesterday but somehow I didn´t get it to finish it in time and then the light for a good photo was gone. So I´m posting it today... I made it using this sketch from Sketch and Stash:

Bei Simon Says gibt es diesmal ein Rezept: ein gestempeltes Motiv, 2 Motivpapiere (plus einfarbigen Cardstock zum Matten) und 3 verschiedene Embellishments, wobei es egal ist, wie viele man von den einzelnen Arten verwendet. Ich habe Blumen, Knöpfe und Spitze verwendet.

At Simon Says they have a recipe for us: a stamped image, 2 designer papers (plus a contrast cardstock for layering) and 3 different types of embellishments. You can use as many as you want from each type. I went with flowers, buttons and lace.

Die Juni-Challenge bei Sir Stampalot steht diesmal im Zeichen der Stanzer - alles andere kann frei gewählt werden.

June´s challenge over at Sir Stampalot is all about punches - the rest is up to you.

Bei Your Next Stamp sollen Knöpfe verwendet werden, und das paßt super zur aktuellen Wednesday Challenge bei All That Scraps, denn dort möchten sie gerne Knöpfe und Bänder.

At Your Next Stamp they want us to use buttons and this is perfect to go with the new wednesday challenge at All That Scraps because there they want to see buttons and ribbon.

Habt Ihr auch so tolles Wetter? Wir mauern im Garten gerade unseren Pizzaofen- und Brotbackofen wieder auf. Trotzdem wollte ich unbedingt eine Karte machen und lasse also meinen Mann inzwischen Schamotte-Steine schneiden.
Entstanden ist die Karte nach dem Sketch beim Cuttlebugspot:

Is it as sunny and warm at your end of the world as it is here? We´re in the middle of re-building our pizza and bread oven in our garden. But I wanted to make a card also and so my hubby is cutting stones while I´m in my craft room.

Die Farbkombi ist die Vorgabe der allerersten Hänglar Only Challenge: rosa und grün.

Da bei A Spoon Full Of Sugar das Thema "flower delight" heißt, habe ich viele Blüten um das Motiv gesetzt.

Since the new theme at A Spoon Full Of Sugar is called "flower delight" I placed a lot of flowers around the image.

Everybody Art hätte gerne "things with wings", also etwas mit Flügeln.

At Everybody Art they want to see "things with wings".

Bei Crafty Angels darf man seinen Lieblings-Stempel benutzen. Oh, das war schwer! Als ich mich dann aber für eine Hänglar entschieden hatte, war klar, daß es dieser sein mußte. Er ist soooo süß!

At Crafty Angels they want us to use our favourite stamp. Oh, this was hard! But once I decided to use a Hänglar it was sure I had to use this one - it´s so cute!

Das Hintergrundpapier ist durch die Cuttlebug gedreht und dann mit Schleifpapier bearbeitet. Für die große Blüte habe ich eine Leinen-Blume, geschnitten mit einer Sizzix-Schablone, zwei kleinere Blüten der selben Schablone aus Tüll und eine Papierblume aufeinander gesetzt. Die Papiere sind von Basic Grey.

The background paper was run through the Cuttlebug and then sanded. For the big flower I layered a flower cut from linnen using a Sizzix die, two smaller ones from the same die cut from tulle and a paper flower. Papers are by Basic Grey.

Belles´n´Whistles Challenge

Seit neustem haben wir ja eine "Belles´n´Whistles only" challenge, die wöchtenlich auf dem Belles´n´Whistles Blog startet. Und diese Woche heißt das wirklich tolle Thema "punches and ribbon".

Since a short time we have a "Belles´n´Whistles only" challenge which can be found every monday on the Belles´n´Whistles blog. And this week we have the wonderful theme of "punches and ribbon".

Ich habe mal wieder einen Stempel aus einer der älteren Kollektionen verwendet: Warm Apple Pie aus der Autumn 09 Kollektion. Herbst? Oh, der Stempel ist viel zu schade um den Rest des Jahres in der Versenkung zu verschwinden!
Ich habe mal wieder alles in braun gehalten und das Motiv mit etwas Crackle Paint überzogen. Die kleinen Tags sind ein Stanzer von Stampin´Up, ebenso das Herz und die Bordüre und auch die Texte sind Stempel von SU. Ansonsten kamen meine Spellbinders zum Einsatz und ein Stanzer für die Ranken, keine Ahnung von welcher Firma.

I used a stamp from one of the older collections: Warm Apple Pie from the Autumn 09 collection. Autumn? Oh, this stamp is way to cute to be forgotten for the rest of the year!
Once again I went with brown colors and covered the image with some Crackle Paint. The tiny tags are made using a Stampin´Up punch, so are the heart and the border and also the sayings are stamps by SU. I also used my Spellbinders and a punch for the leaves, but I don´t know which brand it is.

Und da die Karte so schön retro ist, paßt sie ideal zur Challenge bei Doodle Palace, wo genau das das Thema ist.

And since my card turned out so totally retro it is matching the challenge over at Doodle Palace where they have exactly this theme.

Cupcake Craft # 94

Ich bin wieder da! Und endlich gibt es auch wieder eine Karte von mir. Wir bei Cupcake Craft haben diesmal das Thema "Dazzle it" für Euch. Und das heißt, daß wir Eure glitzerenden und glimmernden Karten sehen möchten.
Die Glitzersteine auf meiner Karte sind gut zu erkennen. Dazu habe ich noch Stickles auf die Flügel aufgetragen, die Blumen mit Glimmer Mist übersprüht und der helle Cardstock, den ich zum Matten verwendet habe, ist Bling Cardstock von Bazzill - mit einem wunderschönen Perlmuttschimmer.

I am back! And finally I have to show you a new card. We at Cupcake Craft have the theme of "dazzle it" for this week´s challenge. So we want to see your glimmering and sparkling cards.
It´s easy to see the rhinestones on my card. I also added Stickles to the wings, covered the flowers with some Glimmer Mist and that cream cardstock I used for matting is from Bazzill´s Bling Collection - with a beautiful pearl shimmer all over.

Schönen Montag Euch allen! Während Ihr das lest, bin ich in Bella Italia und liege hoffentlich bei Sonnenschein am Strand. Das ist auch der Grund, warum es von mir diese Woche erstmal keine neuen Karten mehr zu sehen gibt. Aber ich bin bald zurück!

Happy monday! While you read this I am in Italy, hopefully lying on the beach and enjoying the sun. That´s also the reason why you won´t see any new creations this week. But I am back soon - for sure too soon for me!LOL

Aber natürlich möchte ich Euch meine Karte für Cupcake Craft nicht vorenthalten. Diesmal mit dem tollen Thema "Sommer". Ich habe überlegt, was Sommer für mich bedeutet... Ich liebe den warmen Sommerwind, die blühenden Blumen, Sonnenschein. Also habe ich mich für das süße Motiv von SCACD entschieden denn es erinnert mich daran, wie ich am Fenster stehe und all die Gerüche und schnönen Dinge in mich aufsauge.

But of course I want to show you my card for Cupcake Craft. This week we have the beautiful theme of "summer". I thought what summer means to me... I love the warm summer wind, blooming flowers, sun shine. So I went with this cute image by SCACD since it reminds me of me sitting at the window and just soaking up everything I see and smell.

Ich habe mich für Pastelltöne und die süße "Lilac Tilda" entschieden. Die Blumen habe ich mit Copics und dem Airbrush passend zu meinen Farben eingefärbt.

I went with pastell colors and that cute "Lilac Tilda". I used Copics and the airbrush system to color my flowers matching with the image and papers.

Totally PaperCrafts hat sich für die Vorgabe "monochromatisch" entschieden. Ich weiß, es muß nicht schwarz und weiß oder sepia sein, aber diese Farben sind einfach am schönsten.

Totally PaperCrafts went with "monochromatic" this week. I know, you don´t have to use black and white or sepia tones but I just love those combos.

Und bei Fun With Shapes And More sollen diesmal die "Lieblingsfarben" verwendet werden. Oh je, es gibt so viele Farben, die ich gerne mag. Aber Brauntöne sind wohl doch immer noch meine allererste Wahl.

And at Fun With Shapes And More they want us to use our favourite colors. Oh, this is so hard since there are so many wonderful colors to pick from. But I think all shades of brown are still my first pick.

Und heute zeige ich Euch meine letzte Gastdesigner-Karte für Hanna and Friends. Auch an Euch an ganz liebes Dankeschön, es hat Spaß gemacht!

And today I am going to show you my last card as a guest designer at Hanna and Friends. A very warm thank you also to you, it was a lot of fun being with you!

Das neue Thema lautet "monochrom". Hmm, ich habe überlegt, welche Farbe ich denn verwenden soll und mich dann für das klassische schwarz-weiß entschieden, inklusive all der schönen Grautöne, die es so gibt.

The new theme is "monochrome". Hmm, I´ve been thinking which color to use and went with the classic black and white in the end, including all those nice shades of gray that are out there.

Trotzdem, einfach nur eine schwarz-weiße Karte, irgendwie mußte sie noch etwas besonderes haben. Und da kam mir die Anleitung von Kim von PaperPunch Addiction für eine T-Slider Card gerade recht. Ihre Anleitung ist wirklich total gut nachzuarbeiten und so bekommt auch diese Karte das gewisse Etwas.

But just a "simple" black and white card - something was missing to me. And so this tutorial for a t-slider card from Kim from PaperPunch Addiction just came right in time. It´s so easy to follow her instructions - and my card became something special.

Das Thema diesmal lautet "Geburtstagskarte für ein Mädchen" - das war einfach und wunderschön, denn ich durfte so richtig in rosa und Glitzer und Blumen wühlen. Genau meines!

The theme this week is "birthday card for a girl" - that was a easy and nice one because I was able to grab as much as possible from my pink stuff, flitter and flowers.

Bei Everybody Art heißt es diesmal "Märchen" - darum der Schneewittchen-Stempel "Tilda with Apple" von Magnolia. Und darauf ist mir dann auch der Spruch eingefallen, den ich mit dem Computer gemacht habe.

At Everybody Art this week´s theme is "fairytale" - that´s why I used the Snowwhite stamp. And while coloring it I got the idea for the saying that is computer generated.

Und bei A Spoon Full Of Sugar dreht sich diesmal alles um "celebrations". Na, wenn ein Geburtstag kein Grund zum Feiern ist!

Sketch Saturday # 104 und Sir Stampalot May Challenge

Und bei Sir Stampalot heißt das Thema der Mai Challenge "blossoms and butterflies" - Blüten und Schmetterlinge.
Zuerst habe ich an "Zoe gazing at the butterfly" von Sarah Kay/Stampavie und dann ist mir noch das neue Mariposa-Papier von DCWV eingefallen. Der Stack ist voller Schmetterlinge und Blumen und sehr zart gezeichnet. Auch auf dem großen Papier im Hintergrund befinden sich Schmetterlinge, die ich aber leider überkleben mußte. Dafür flattert jetzt noch ein großes Exemplar über die Karte.
Der Bordürenstanzer unter dem Motiv ist von Martha Stewart, der Text von Stampin´Up.

And at Sir Stampalot the theme for may is "blossoms and butterflies".
First I thought of "Zoe gazing at the butterfly" by Sarah Kay/Stampavie and then the new Mariposa paper stack by DCWV came to my mind. It ist full of butterflies and flowers and drawn beautifully. Also on the big paper in the background there are butterflies all over but I had to cover it with the other papers. Instead a big one is fluttering over the card now.
The border punch is by Martha Stewart, saying by Stampin´Up.

Und bei SophistiCat Challenges heißt es diesmal "splish splash" - und so war klar, daß ich "Splashing Good Times" von Belles´n´Whistles verwende.

Offenbar ist meine Kreativität auf Kurzurlaub gewesen, denn ich bin mit der Karte einfach nicht weitergekommen. Total entnervt habe ich dann die Chipboard-Buchstaben aufgeklebt und die Blumen mit etwas Glossy Accents beträufelt, so daß es so aussieht, als ob die beiden sie etwas vollgespritzt hätten...

Seems like my mojo went on a short vacation because I was sitting over this card for hours without getting further. At the end - and to make it an end - I added the chipboard letters and added some Glossy Accents to the flowers to make it look like they got wet from the kids´ splashing around...

Die allererste Belles´n´Whistles Challenge

Wir bei Belles´n´Whistles hatten die Idee, eine reine Belles´n´Whistles Challenge zu starten - und so wird es ab heute jeden zweiten Montag eine Challenge auf dem Belles´n´Whistles Blog geben. Und alle unsere neuen DT Mitglieder sind auch mit dabei!

Over at Belles´n´Whistles we had the idea to dare you with a challenge where you can only use Belles´n´Whistles images - and so from today on there will be a new challenge every other monday at the Belles´n´Whistles Blog. And of course all our new members are with us too!

Das Thema unserer ersten Challenge heißt "make your own flowers" - und wir möchte gerne all die verschiedenen Blumen sehen, die Ihr selbst macht um Eure Karten zu verschönern.
Ich habe mich für Häkelblümchen entschieden. Seitdem ich endlich weiß, wie sie gehen, könnte ich den ganzen Tag Blumen fertigen.LOL Nach dem Häkeln habe ich die Blumen mit Copics (Airbrush) und Glimmer Mist eingefärbt.

The theme of our very first challenge is "make your own flowers" - and we want to see all those beautiful and different flowers you make to let them bloom on your cards.
I went with crocheting - since I learned how to make them I could make those all day long.LOL After they were finished I used my Copics (airbrush) and Glimmer Mist to color them in.

Es ist schon wieder Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Cupcake Craft - diesmal haben wir das tolle Thema schwarz, grau plus eine weitere Farbe. Nun, bei mir mußte es rosa sein....

It´s time for another challenge over at Cupcake Craft and we have a color combo for you this time: black, grey pluse one other. Well, I just had to pick pink as the third color.

Das Motiv, für das ich mich entschieden habe, ist eines der süßen Gorjuss Girls von Sugar Nellie. Die Kreise sind von Stampin´Up - darin steht einmal "hello" und einmal "friend". Irgendwie ist das auf dem Foto einfach nicht erkennbar.

Die Woche ist fast schon wieder rum, das Wochenende und die Pfingstferien sind da! Und obwohl die Mädels schon sehr früh aus der Schule wieder da waren, habe ich eine Karte für Euch. Sie ist nach dem neuen Sketch von Just Magnolia entstanden.

Und bei Stampin´For The Weekend soll diesmal eine Karte gemacht werden, mit der man jemanden aufmunter kann, ihm eine Freude machen. Und wer möchte, kann diese Karte dann an "Post Pals" senden.
Ich denke, eine fröhlich-bunte Sommerkarte weckt bei jedem die gute Laune - und sollte es auch nur für einen Moment sein war es auf jeden Fall die Arbeit wert.

I think a colorful summer card makes everyone happy - and if it´s only for a moment it was worth the work and time put in it.

Die Farben sind die Vorgabe bei Colour Create: soft green und light aqua - also hellgrün und hellblau.

The colors come from Colour Create´s new challenge: light aqua and soft green.

Und bei Charisma Cardz heißt es diesmal 3D - ein dreidimensionales Element wie z. B. eine Blume reicht. Also habe ich die Blumen aufeinander gesetzt und außerdem den Seifenblasen durch Glossy Accents etwas Tiefe verliehen.

And at Charisma Cardz the new theme is "3D" - it´s enough to use something with dimension, i. e. a flower. I stacked those flowers and also added a 3D effect to the bubbles by covering them with Glossy Accents.

Das Motiv ist "Bubbling Tilda" von Magnolia. Natürlich habe ich ganz viel Stickles verwendet: auf den Flügeln, auf den Seifenblasen - unter dem Glossy Accents -, und auch auf den Blumen und Rosenblüten. Dazu dann noch Glitzersteine...
Das Papier ist von K&Company, der Text von Stampin´Up.

Hanna and Friends # 45

Ist schon wieder Donnerstag?! Dann ist auch Zeit für Hanna and Friends, bei denen ich diesen Monat ja Gastdesigner sein darf. Diesmal gibt es ein Foto zu Eurer Inspiration - richtig schön sommerlich. Ob Ihr die Farben, das Thema Meer oder etwas anderes daraus übernehmt ist natürlich Euch überlassen.

Is it thursday again?! Well, so it´s also time for a new challenge at Hanna and Friends where I am guest designing this month. And this week we have a foto to inspire you - beautiful summer-ish. If you use the colors, the sea theme or something else is totally up to you.



Ich habe mich von den Blautönen inspirieren lassen und habe auch ein klein wenig hellbraun und rot verwendet.

Was hat mich diese Karten Nerven gekostet! Nicht beim Basteln, sondern beim Fotografieren! Also, die Farben auf dem ersten Bild sind schon recht realitätsnah - und für das zweite Bild habe ich die Karte einfach "flachgelegt". Jetzt hängt Melissa zwar nicht mehr so schön, aber man kann zumindest die Details etwas besser erkennen. Naja, das Problem hat wohl jeder mal.

This cards drove me crazy! Not while making it but while trying to get a photo of it. Well, the colors on the first one are quite real - and for the second picture I layed the card down. Melissa isn´t dangling around that nice anymore but at least you are able to see a few details. Well, I guess you all know that problem.

Bei Whiff Of Joy gibt es eine Farbkombi: braun, gelb plus eine weitere Farbe.

Und die deckt sich dann perfekt mit der Farbkombi von ColourQ: Kiwi Kiss, Soft Suede, Summer Sun - und Weiß.

Bei Simon Says heißt es diesmal, eine Tent Card mit Charms zu machen. Ich habe bereits schon mal eine solche Karte gemacht und wußte daher, daß es einfach ist und viel Spaß macht.

At Simon Says they want us to make a Tent Card and use charms as well. I made a tent card once before so I knew it is easy to make and also means a lot of fun.

Und dann ist da noch die Challenge bei Creative Inspirations, wofür Stanzer und/oder Die Cuts verwendet werden sollen. Ich habe Spellbinders und zwei SU Stanzen verwendet.

And then there is the challenge over at Creative Inspirations where they want us to use punches and/or die cuts on our cards. I used Spellbinders and two different punches by SU.

Und hier dann noch das zweite Foto. Auf den Flügeln sind Stickles aufgetragen, die Spitze ist mit Glimmer Mist eingefärbt.

And here´s the second picture. I added Stickles to the wings, the lace is colored with Glimmer Mist.
