Just Christmas and Birthday Cards # 36 und Stamp with Fun # 11

"Punkte" ist, was Stamp With Fun für das Thema der 11. Challenge gewählt hat. Da nirgendwo definiert ist, daß Punkte unbedingt rund sein müssen und ich doch so gerne eine meiner heute eingetroffenen Magnolias aus der Pet Collection verwenden wollte habe ich im Hintergrund ein Giraffenmuster verwendet und hoffe, das gilt.
Und den Sketch # 36 von Just Christmas and Birthday Cards habe ich ebenfalls als Vorlage genommen - wieder mal gedreht:

"Dots" are what Stamp With Fun has choosen for their challenge´s # 11 theme. Since dots don´t have to be really round and I so hardly wanted to use one of my Magnolia stamps from the brand new Pet Collection 2009 (they just arrived today) I decided to go with a giraffe patterne in the background, hoping it counts.
And I followed sketch # 36 at Just Christmas and Birthday Cards - once again turned around:



Mein Motiv heißt "Dschungel-Tilda", im Hintergrund habe ich ein paar stehende Dschungelblätter verwendet. Der Spruch auf dem "Schild" ist mit dem Computer geschrieben und dazu habe ich noch ein paar blühende Lianen gebastelt.
Die Farben auf dem Foto kommen irgendwie nicht so ganz rüber - vielleicht weil heute draußen alles so grau ist und nicht wirklich viel Licht durchs Fenster kommt. In Wirklichkeit sind die Farben viel kräftiger und das grün geht viel mehr ins oliv. Hoffentlich kann ich das Bild bald durch ein besseres ersetzen.

The image is called "Jungle Tilda", I stamped a few Tip Leaves behind her. The sentiment on the hanging sign is computer generated and I created a few blooming vines all around.
The colors look quite different on the photo - probably because there is so much grey outside today and not a lot of light is coming inside. In reality they are much brighter and the green is more an olive tone. Hopefully I will be able to post a better one soon.

Cupcake Craft Challenge # 44

Jeannette war diese Woche dran, das Thema für die Challenge # 44 auf Cupcake Craft Challenges auszuwählen. Da bei ihr Vatertag vor der Tür steht, hat sie dies zum Anlaß genommen und uns das Thema Vatertag gegeben. Da die DT Mitglieder aus vielen verschiedenen Teilen der Erde kommen, hat sie die Option gegeben, den Begriff "Vater" auch auf Onkel, Opa oder jeden anderen Mann auszuweiten. ABER: Es soll nicht nur eine Karte sein, sie möchte "mehr als eine Karte" sehen.Nun, ich gebe zu, diesen Teil der Aufgabe habe ich glatt übersehen und es ist purer Zufall, daß ich dieses Täschchen gebastelt habe. Vatertag in Deutschland war ja schon im Mai, aber mein Schwiegervater hat nächsten Sonntag Geburtstag...
Gleich vorweg muß ich gestehen: die Idee für diese süße Tasche kam nicht von mir, sondern von Anita, die die Anleitung zu dieser Tasche auf ihrem wirklich tollen Blog gepostet hat. Da ich kein Top-Note-Die hatte, habe ich einfach das größte Nestie-Label verwendet.
Der Stempel ist von Hanglar und da ich die Tasche mit ein paar selbstgemachten Pralinen füllen möchte, paßte der Koch natürlich ideal...

It was Jeanette´s turn to set this week´s challenge # 44 over at Cupcake Craft Challenges. Since father´s day is close she choose this as her theme. But since the DT members come from different parts of the world she also gave the option to create something for an uncle, grandpa or any other man. BUT: you have to make more than a card! I have to admit that I totally didn´t see this part of the challenge and so it is pure chance that I created this purse. Father´s day here in Germany was in may but my father in law´s birthday will be next sunday...
First of all I have to give credit to Anita: she designed this cute little purse and also posted the instructions on her wonderful blog. Since I don´t have the top-note-die I just used the biggest of the Nestabilities Labels.
The stamp is from Hanglar and since I want to fill this bag with some homemade chocolats this image is just perfect...

Stamp with Fun # 10 und Charisma Cardz # 23

Charisma Cardz hätte gerne "something yummy" - also irgendwas leckeres... Wo das auf meiner Karte zu finden ist? Die kleine Süße hat extra frische Äpfel in ihren Korb gepackt. Und dazu passend habe ich einen Apfel-Charm oben links befestigt.
Das Motiv ist von Sugar Nellie, der Schmetterling mit dem Gras sowie der Spruch ist von Stampin´Up, die Papiere sind von Laura Ashley.
Gearbeitet habe ich meine Karte nach dem Sketch der Challenge # 10 von Stamp with Fun. Auch diesen habe ich um 90° Grad gedreht und ich hoffe es ist okay, daß ich die Position des Spruches geändert habe. Er hat einfach nicht an den auf dem Sketch vorgesehenen Platz gepaßt:

Charisma Cardz is asking for "something yummy"... Where you can find it on my card? This little cutie went to pick some yummy fresh apples for me. And matching these I placed an apple charm on the upper left corner of the card.

I followed Stamp with Fun´s sketch # 10. I also turned this one around and I hope it is okay that I changed the position of the sentiment. But it really didn´t fit in the area it should have been:

Cute Card Thursday # 64 und Sketch Saturday # 55

"Quotations" lautet das Thema für die dieswöche Challenge auf Cute Card Thursday. Ich habe mich für das gute alte "Kleine Geschenke erhalten die Freundschaft" entschieden.

"Quotations", that´s what they want us to use on our card this week at Cute Card Thursday. I decided to go with the good old "little gifts keep the friendship". I don´t know if this exists in other countries, but it´s a german saying and it´s perfect for cards that come with small gifts.

Daring Cardmakers "Sizzling Hot" und Friday Sketchers # 56

Es ist schon wieder Freitag - das heißt, es gibt den neuen Sketch der Friday Sketchers:

Und bei Daring Cardmakers dreht sich alles um "sizzling hot" colors, also glühend heiße Sommerfarben wie gelb, orange und rot. Bei mir ist es wohl eher ein Sommer-Sonnenuntergang geworden, denn ich habe mein Orange mit einem recht dunklen rot verwendet, aber nach Sommer sieht die Karte für mich trotzdem aus.
Mein Motiv ist von Whiff of Joy, die Papiere sind von My Minds Eye, die Blumen von Prima.

And at Daring Cardmakers it´s all about sizzling hot colors like yellow, orange and red. Seems like I created some kind of summer sunrise because I used a really dark red but to me it still has that special summer look.

Stamp with Stampavie # 47 und Just Magnolia # 9

Und Just Magnolia hat für die Challenge der Woche 9 das Thema "paper piecing" aufgenommen. Dafür bieten sich diese Stempel ja prima an.
Ich habe Tilda´s Kleid aus einem der Papier, die ich auch im Hintergrund verwendet habe, aufgesetzt. Dazu habe ich HG Papiere in verschiedenen Lila-Tönen kombiniert und sie mit schwarzem Cardstock hinterlegt. Dazu habe ich einige Schnörkel von Stampin´Up gestempelt und eine große Blume - ebenfalls bestempelt - als Embellishment aufgesetzt.

I used a paper from the background to add Tilda´s dress. As colors I decided to go with different lilac tones and matted them with black cardstock. I added some swirls from a Stampin´Up stamp and a big flower - stamped on the same swirls - as embellishment.

The Sugar Bowl challenge # 12 und Colour Create # 19

Der Sketch, den Lia für The Sugar Bowl für die Challenge # 12 kreiert hat, ist einfach fantastisch - wenn auf den ersten Blick auch ein wenig "furchteinflößend":

Ich hatte ihn bereits für meine Karte für das CCC Designteam verwendet, nun aber nochmal eine neue Karte damit gestaltet.
Zudem habe ich die neue Farbkombi auf Colour Create verwendet: pink, flieder und ein moosiges grün. Das flieder kommt auf dem Foto nicht so ganz rüber, ich habe aber einige Highlights damit gesetzt. Die Zusatzoption hier sind diese Woche Die Cuts.
Der Stempel ist eines meiner Lieblings-Gorjuss-Mädels, die Papiere sind von Laura Ashley. Auf einen Spruch habe ich verzichtet, da der Charm auf der einen Seite das gezeigte Herz hat, auf der anderen steht das Wort "love". Ich habe die Dekoration bewußt schlicht gehalten, da der Sketch schon relativ unruhig ist. Daher habe ich mich mit ein paar Schnörkeln und einigen Nähten begnügt.
Die Zusatzoption des Sugar Bowl Blogs, die für die Ziehung des Gewinners berechtigt, lautet diese Woche etwas grün und blau zu verwenden. Ich weiß nicht, ob das winzige bißchen blau auf dem glitzernden Hintergrundpapier zählt - oder zu erkennen ist. Aber selbst wenn nicht, es hat einfach wahnsinnig viel Spaß gemacht, die Karte zu basteln.

I used this sketch for my card for the CCC designteam this week also, but made a new card following it.
I also used the new color combo at Colour Create: blush pink, lilac and a mossy green. The lilac is hard to see on the photo but I used it to set a few hightlights on my card. The extra option this week is to use die cuts on the card.
The image is one of my favourite Gorjuss Girls, the papers are by Laura Ashley. I didn´t place a sentiment on my card because the charm has two sides: one as shown with the heart, the other one with the word "love". I also didn´t add too much decoration since the sketch has so many different layers and elements. So I just used a few flourishes and a bit of sewing.
The "please include" at The Sugar Bowl Blog, that qualifies for the drawing, is to use some green and blue. I am not sure if the little bit of blue on my glittered background paper can be seen - or will count. But even if not, just making this card was a lot of fun.

Friday Sketchers # 55 und Papertake Weekly "Shoe Time"

"Shoe Time" - ich gebe zu, daß ich mich erst nicht wirklich mit diesem Thema von Papertake Weekly anfreunden konnte. Karten über oder mit Schuhen... Ich bin einfach nicht die klassische, schuh-fetischistische Frau.LOL Aber dann fiel mir der süße Happy Hoppers Stempel ein und ich habe dieser Challenge doch eine Chance gegeben.
Zudem habe ich sie nach dem Sketch der Challenge # 55 der Friday Sketchers gearbeitet:

"Shoe Time" - I admit that I struggled with the new theme at Papertake Weekly first. Cards with or about shoes... I really am not one of those classical, crazy for shoes type of women.LOL But then I remembered this cute Happy Hoppers stamps and I thought I could give this challenge a try tough.
I also followed the sketch # 55 at Friday Sketchers:



Außerdem fiel mir dann dieses HG-Papier mit den Schuhen und Handtaschen in die Häne und der passende Spruch war auch bald gefunden. Die Kette des kleinen Häschens habe ich mit einem Perlen-Pen nachgearbeitet, der Spruch ist mit dem Computer gemacht.

Then I also discovered this background paper in my stash, full of handbags and shoes - and a matching sentiment was the last thing I needed. The necklace of this cute rabbit is colored using a pearl pen, the sentiment is computer generated.

Whiff of Joy challenge # 34 und A Spoon Full Of Sugar # 45

"Butterflies" - das ist das Motto, unter dem die Challenge # 45 auf A Spoon Full Of Sugar steht. Ich habe dieses Thema in Form dieses kleinen Schmetterlings aus dem WoJ Frühlings-Kit eingearbeitet.

Das hübsche Mädchen ist aus dem WoJ Sommer-Kit und sie sitzt auf dem Baumstamm aus dem Frühlings-Kit. Der Rest auf meiner Karte ist verschiedenes Material aus meiner "Restelade".

This cute girl is a stamp from the WoJ summer kit and she sits on the stump coming from the spring kit. All the other stuff on my card is coming from my left over stash I had from card I previously made.

Whiff of Joy challenge # 33 und Sketch Saturday # 54

Sketch Saturday hat - wie der Name schon sagt - einen tollen Sketch von Mandy für die 54. Challenge:

Und Whiff of Joy möchte auf den Karten für die Challenge # 33 Charms sehen. Wie gut, daß ich da gerade einen ganzen Schwung geliefert bekommen habe!
Endlich habe ich diesen süßen Stempel aus dem WoJ Sommer-Kit benutzt! Da ich nicht so auf bunte Karten stehe - zumindest mache ich sie nicht so gerne -, habe ich nur die Früchte farbig gemacht und den Rest der Karte in edlem Grau gehalten. Das paßt auch super zum Silber des Erdbeer-Charm. Hinter der Blüte ist nochmal ein Blumenstempel platziert, die kleinen Perlen geben der Karte dann noch das edle Finish.

I finally used this cute stamp from the WoJ sommer kit. Since I don´t like such colorful cards - or I don´t like making them - I decided to only color the fruits and combine it with grey. That also matches the silver strawberry charm. There is a stamped flower behind the paper flower and the little perls added the final elegant touch to the card.

Cuttlebugspot challenge # 34 "anniversary card"

Nilda, die Gründerin des Cuttlebugspots, feiert ihren 10. Hochzeitstag - und brauchte Anregungen für eine Karte. Daher hat sie für diese Woche das Thema "anniversary card" gewählt.
Ich habe auf meiner Karte das "you" aus dem gleichnamigen Embossingfolder ausgeschnitten, hinterlegt und links auf meiner Karte jede Menge Streifen aus einem Papier von DCWV aufgeklebt. Das HG Papier ist ebenfalls von DCWV, der Herz-Stempel von Stampin´Up.

Nilda, the founder of the Cuttlebugspot, is celebrating her 10th anniversary this month - and needs some inspiration for a card to give her hubby. So she choose "anniversary card" as this week´s theme.
I cut the "you" out of the "you"-folder and placed an scalloped rectangle behind it. On the left I added different stripes cut out of a DCWV paper. The background paper is also DCWV, the heart image is made using a Stampin´Up stamp.

Cute Card Thursday will für die Challenge # 63, daß wir unsere Stanzer und Die Cuts auspacken und auf der Karte verwenden. Kann man eigentlich noch ohne sie?
Ich habe mich für die Herzchen pustende Tilda entschieden (auch weil sie gut in den großen Kreis der Nesties paßte) und eine blaugrau und beige Farbkombi gewählt, das ganze ergänzt mit etwas dunkelbraun. Als Stanzer/Die Cuts kamen die Schnörkel, die Äste und die bereits erwähnten Nesties zum Einsatz - oh, und noch der Slot Punch von Stampin´Up! Die Papiere sind von Laura Ashley, der Spruch von Stampin´Up, die Blumen von Prima.

Charisma Cardz # 22 und A Spoon Full Of Sugar # 54

Wir sind zurück aus München - und jetzt gibt es natürlich ganz viele Challenges nachzuholen. Alle werde ich wohl nicht schaffen.
Erst einmal möchte ich allen ganz herzlich für die lieben Worte wegen unseres Asraels danken. Die haben wirklich gut getan!
Beim Durchschauen der diversen Challengeblogs habe ich dann ganz überrascht festgestellt, daß ich während unserer Ferien gleich bei zwei Challenges Preise gewonnen habe! Zum einen einen der Geburtstags-Sonderpreise bei Sketch Saturday. Ich habe das Bild des von Mandy gebastelten Sets schon gesehen und finde es auf dem Foto bereits wunderschön! Und dann habe ich noch bei den Friday Sketchers ein Digital Stamps Set gewonnen - ziemlich rockige Stempel und ideal vor allem für Jungenskarten.
So nun aber zu meiner Karte!LOL Bei A Spoon Full of Sugar gibt es für die Challenge # 54 einen wundervollen Sketch:

We are back from my mom´s at Munich - and of course there are so many challenge I want to catch up now. I´m pretty sure I won´t be able to do them all.
But first I want to thank all of you for the kind words about the death of our Asrael. It felt wonderful to read them!
By visiting all the challenge blogs to check the new themes I was very surprised to see that I won two prizes while our short holiday! First I won one of the special birthday prizes at Sketch Saturday. I just saw the pic of Mandy´s set on her blog and just loved looking at the pic! And at Friday Sketchers I won a set of digital stamps - quite rocking stamps and perfect for boy´s cards.
So, but now on to this card!LOL At A Spoon Full Of Sugar they have another wonderful sketch for challenge # 54:



Und Charisma Cardz hat DIE Farbkombi schlechthin für ihre dieswöchige Challenge # 22 gewählt: Braun und Rosa. Eine meiner Lieblingskombis, da ist das Mitmachen dann Pflicht!LOL
Ich habe diesen süßen Hanglar Stempel verwendet, die Knöpfe sind aus meinem Vorrat, ebenso die Bordüre, der Spruch ist von Studio G. Auf dem Schnörkel sind übrigens keine Flecken sondern rose-farbener Glitzer... Ein wenige mit der Nähmaschine rumgesaust und fertig war dieses Kärtchen.

I used this cute Hanglar stamp, the buttons are from my stash, so is the lace, the sentiment is from Studio G. The little dots on the flourish come from a light pink glitter that was hard to take a pic of... A few sewing added and my card was done.

Just Christmas and Birthday Cards Challenge # 34 und Stamp With Stampavie # 45

Noch eine letzte Challenge, bevor wir für ein paar Tage zu meiner Mutter nach München fahren. Zum Basteln werde ich dort nicht kommen.
Diese Karte habe ich nach dem wirklich tollen Sketch der Challenge # 34 auf Just Christmas and Birthday Cards gemacht:

I made this card following the really wonderful sketch from Just Christmas and Birthday Cards´ challenge # 34:



Und außerdem habe ich noch das Thema der Challenge # 45 auf Stamp With Stampavie aufgegriffen: schwarz und gelb. Ich muß zugeben, daß ich zuerst nicht sonderlich begeistert war und Bienen das einzige war, was mir zu diesem Thema einfiel. Aber dann kamen meine Sugar Nellie Stempel und mit dieser schönen und wohl sehr vielseitig einsetzbaren Lady habe ich es dann versucht. Der Text ist ein Stempel von Stampin´Up, die große schwarze Blume ein die und ich wollte damit die Blume im Haar der Schönheit ein wenig aufgreifen.

And I also used the theme from challenge # 45 at Stamp With Stampavie: black and yellow. I have to admit that I wasn´t very impressed with this theme first - and bees were the only things that came to my mind. But then my Sugar Nellie stamps arrived and with this beautiful - and for sure very versatile - lady I decided to give it a try. The sentiment is by Stampin´Up, the big black flower is mady using a die and I wanted to repeat the flower in the beauty´s hair.

Ich möchte noch etwas sehr trauriges mit Euch teilen: Gestern haben wir unseren Kater Asrael unter unserem Trampolin liegend gefunden. Er liebt es, dort im Schatten zu liegen, aber gestern gab er komische Laute von sich. Als wir schauen gingen fiel uns als erstes eine große Stelle am Rücken auf, bei der das Fell wie abrasiert aussah. Er hat dann versucht aufzustehen, konnte aber seine hinteren Beine nicht bewegen, das komplette Hinterteil fiel von links nach rechts. Wir sind dann sofort zum Tierarzt und der bestätigte unsere Vermutung, daß er wohl unter ein Auto kam. Das Becken ist mehrfach gebrochen und ob ein Hüftgelenk ebenfalls beschädigt ist, kann er nicht sagen. Bitte denkt an uns, wenn wir in heute morgen einschläfern lassen müssen... Danke.

I also wanted to share a really sad story: yesterday we found our cat Asrael under the trampoline. He loves to lie there because there´s always some shadow for him. But yesterday he was giving some strange sounds. We went to check what´s wrong with him and the first thing we realized was a big area on his back where the fur was like cut off. He then tried to stand up but wasn´t able to move his back legs, the whole back was falling from one side to the other. We brought him to the pet doctor and he agreed with us that he was hit by a car. His hips are broken several times and the doc wasn´t able to tell if a joint was damaged also. Please think of us when we´ll have to set him asleep this morning... Thank you.

Stamp with Fun challenge # 9

Alles nur keine Karte - so lautet die Vorgabe der Challenge # 9 auf Stamp with Fun. Nachdem ich ein kleines "Mitbringsel" für jemanden brauchte kam mir sogleich die Idee, eine Geschenktüte mit Süßigkeiten zu füllen und sie mit einem schönen Topper zu verzieren. Dazu habe ich diesen süßen kleinen Kerl aus der Jingle Jangle Kollektion 2009 von Magnolia verwendet und ihn farblich passend zu der Karte, die ich ebenfalls kreiert habe aber noch nicht zeigen darf, gestaltet. Der Spruch ist von Stampin´Up und die zwei kleinen Charms waren dann noch das I-Tüpfelchen.

Since I needed a little giveaway for a friend I had the idea to fill a gift bag with candies and decorate it with a nice topper. I used this cute guy from the Jingle Jangle Collection 2009 by Magnolia and colored him matching the colors of the card I also made but am not allowed to show yet. The sentiment ist by Stampin´Up and these cute little charms were the perfect finish.

Cupcake Craft Challenge # 43 - "Fairies"

Evelina hat die Challenge auf Cupcake Craft Challenges für diese Woche gewählt - und das wunderschöne Thema "Fairies", also Feen, ausgewählt. Viel Raum für viele Ideen...
Mit Entsetzen habe ich beim planen meiner Karte festgestellt, daß ich keinen einzigen Feen-Stempel habe! Ist das zu glauben? Da es natürlich zu spät war, noch einen zu bestellen bin ich bei der Suche im www auf einer Seite für Malvorlagen gelandet: dulemba.com. Dort habe ich dann diese süße Fee heruntergeladen, ausgedruckt und coloriert. Als Deko habe ich eine Art Blätter-Ranke gemacht, in der kleine gelbe Blümchen blühen. Auf der rechten Seite der Karte wollte ich das schöne Papier ein wenig wirken lassen.

When planing my card I realized that I don´t even have one single fairy stamp! Can you believe that? Of course it was too late to order one and so I while searching the www I found a great site for coloring pages: dulemba.com. I downloaded this cute fairy, printer her on cardstock and colored her. As decoration I created some kind of leave-flourish-mix in which small yellow flowers are blooming. On the right side of my card I wanted to show up the beautiful background paper.

Just Magnolia challenge # 7 und Sunday Sketch & Stamp challenge # 3

Insekten und andere Tiere - so lautet das Thema für die Challenge der 7. Woche von Just Magnolia. Es hätte sich natürlich ein Stempel aus der Chasing Butterflies Collection angeboten, aber ich habe mich für die Tilda mit ihrem kleinen Hündchen entschieden. Dazu konnte ich dann auch endlich mal das Papier mit den Knochen kombinieren, das in einem älteren DCWV Stack enthalten war und schon ewig hier bei mir rumliegt. Gearbeitet habe ich die Karte nach dem Sketch der Sunday Sketch & Stamp Challenge # 3:

Insects and other animals - that´s the theme for the challenge # 7 at Just Magnolia. Of course a stamp from the Chasing Butterflies Collection would have been perfect for this one, but I decided to use this Tilda with her little doggy. And I also finally was able to use this backgroundpaper with the bones that once was in a DCWV stack and is sitting in my stash for ages now. I followed this beautiful sketch from Sunday Sketch & Stamp challenge # 3:

Und was bietet sich da mehr an, als mit diesem Sketch eine Geburtstagskarte zu fertigen? Auf meiner prangt neben dem extragroßen Muffin auch noch eine süße Tilda, beides natürlich von Magnolia - und als Dekoration gibt es eine tolle Girlande.

Friday Sketchers # 54 und Daring Cardmakers "Take Five"

Heute kamen meine neuen Sugar Nellie Stempel! Ich liebe den Ausdruck auf den Gesichtern dieser Stempel und auch der etwas künstlerische Stil ist mal was anderes. Kein Wunder, daß ich sofort einen verwenden wollte!
Zum einen habe ich diese Karte dann für die Friday Sketchers Challenge # 54 gemacht, die diesmal einen achteckigen Sketch haben:

Today my new Sugar Nellie stamps arrived! I love the look of these stamps, how the faces are drawn and also the arty style is wonderful and something different as well. No need to wonder that I had to use one of them right after they came out the envie!
So first I made my card for challenge # 54 at Friday Sketchers who have an octagon sketch this week:



Und dann habe ich sie für Daring Cardmakers gemacht, die als neue Aufgabe "Take Five" gepostet haben. Es sollen fünf gleiche Dinge verwendet werden, z. B. fünf Brads, fünf Knöpfe oder andere fünf Lieblingsdinge solange sie auf die Karte passen. Offenbar habe ich in der Schule gefehlt, als Zählen auf dem Stundenplan stand, denn ich habe festgestellt, daß ich sechs statt fünf Blumen vewendet habe... Ooops. Naja, zwei sind so klein, vielleicht zählen sie ja als eine.LOL
Der Spruch auf meiner Karte ist etwas versteckt und aufgeteilt. Über dem Motiv steht "Life is a journey" - das ist nicht nur der Name des Stempels sondern auch noch der Name des Hintergrundpapieres und darum mußte er einfach mit auf die Karte. Und im oberen Ticket habe ich noch "we all have our own route" versteckt. Soll soviel heißen wie "Das Leben ist eine Reise und wir alle haben unsere eigene Route". Nach einigen Diskussionen mit meinem Mann, ob das im Englischen denn so richtig ist, habe ich entschieden, es einfach auf die Karte zu schreiben.

I also made this card for the "Take Five" challenge at Daring Cardmakers. Use five things that are the same. For example: five brads, five buttons or five other things you like as long as they fit on the card. Seems like I missed the counting lessons at school because I realized that I used six flowers instead of five... Ooops. Well, since two of them are that little maybe they count as one.LOL
The sentiment on my card is a bit hidden and divided. Above the image I wrote "life´s a journey" - that´s not only the name of this stamp but also the name of the paper so I had to use it on my card. And in the upper ticket I wrote "we all have our own route". After some discussing with my hubby if this is right in english I decided to use it.

Whiff of Joy challenge # 32 und Cute Card Thursday # 62

Mal keine Karte heute, sondern "nur" ein Tag um ein wenig selbstgemachte Marmelade zu verschenken. Soll ja nicht nur schmecken, sondern auch schön aussehen. Leider habe ich das Glas nicht mit aufs Bild gebracht, da der Tag doch recht groß ausgefallen ist. Diesen Tag habe ich passend für 2 Challenges gemacht:
"Brown and blue" ist das Thema für die 32. Challenge auf Whiff Of Joy. Eine wunderbare Farbkombi für Männerkarten, wie ich finde, macht sich aber auch prima mit gelber Marmelade.
Und Cute Card Thursday hätte gerne "a lil bit of bling" auf dem Werk für die Challenge # 62. Ein kleines bißchen habe ich in Form von drei kleinen Glitzersteinen auf meinem Tag angebracht.

Today I made no card but "only" a tag to give away some homemade jam. Shouldn´t only be yummy but also nice looking when be given away. Wasn´t able to get the glass of jam be shown on the pic also because my tag turned out a bit bigger than I planned. I made it matching two challenges:
"Brown and blue" is the theme for the 32nd challenge at Whiff Of Joy. A great color combo for men cards - in my opinion - but also great to go with yellow jam.
And Cute Card Thursday wants to see "a lil bit of bling" on the project for their 62nd challenge. I placed really only a lil bit of it by using three little gems on my tag.
