Manchmal ist es gut, wenn man einen großen Freund hat... So geht es auch der Giraffe auf dieser Karte, die ich heute auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog zeige.

Sometimes it's good to have a big friend... That's what the giraffe on this card that I'm sharing over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog today is about to find out.
Für die Karte habe ich einen einfachen Hintergrund mit Distress Oxide Mustard Seed, Cracked Pistacchio und Salty Ocean gewischt.
Im unteren Bereich habe ich einen Grashügel, geschnitten mit einer der Grassy Hills Stanzen, sowie kleinere Grasflecken aufgeklebt. Die Flecken sind einfach aus dem Tucked in Turf Horizontal ausgeschnitten.
Im Gras stehen zwei der süßen Giraffen aus dem Giraffing me Crazy Stempelset von MFT. Die kleine Giraffe kann nicht durch die Wolken sehen - dabei wüsste sie so gerne, was darüber ist.
For this card I've created a simple background using Distress Oxide Mustard Seed, Cracked Pistacchio and Salty Ocean.
To the lower area I've glued a grassy hill, cut using one of the Grassy Hills dies, and a few smaller spots of grass. Those were simply cut out of the Tucked in Turf Horizontal die cut.
In the grass there are standing those two giraffes from the Giraffing me Crazy stamp set by MFT. The small one can't see through the clouds but would so love to know what's above.
Und da kommt der große Freund ins Spiel. Der macht seinen langen Hals einfach noch ein kleines bisschen länger um für die kleine Giraffe nachzusehen. Und tatsächlich - dort oben fliegt ein bunter Papagei aus dem Drink up the Sunshine Stempelset. Davon kann die große der kleinen Giraffe nun berichten. Und ich bin sicher, der Papagei lässt sich auch dazu bewegen, mal kurz unterhalb der Wolken zu fliegen.
Hier habe ich eine einfache Slider Card im Hintergrund gewerkelt, durch den gebogenen Hals hat der Ziehstreifen etwas mehr Spiel, aber das muss hier eben so.
Und weil ich den langen Teil des Halses, der noch auf dem Körper sitzt, nicht auf der Karte festkleben konnte, er aber oben immer ein wenig abstand, habe ich ihn einfach mit den Spitzen des Banners an Ort und Stelle gehalten, auf den ich den Text weiß aufembosst habe.
And this is where the big friend comes in handy. He simply makes his long neck even longer to have a look above the clouds. And really - there's a colorful bird from the Drink up the Sunshine stamp set flying by. Now the big one can at least tell the small one about it. And I'm sure the big giraffe is also able to make the bird fly under the clouds for the small giraffe to see it.
Here I've made a simple slider card. Since the neck is bended the pull tab needed some room to move around.
And since I wasn't able to glue the long part of the neck - the one that's attached to the body - onto the card but it tended to stand up I've simply white heat embossed a saying onto a banner cut from black cardstock and used this to hold the neck down.
