Heute startet schon die 5. Farbe trifft Stempel Challenge. Das Thema diesmal lautet "Freundschaft und Liebe" und diese Challenge läuft bis einschließlich 19. Oktober.

We're starting the 5th Farbe trifft Stempel challenge. The theme until october 19th is "friendship and love".
Meine Karte ist eher einfach gehalten. Ich habe hellgrauen Cardstock für den Hintergrund genommen und darauf den aus hell-koralle farbenem Cardstock gestanzten Sfondo Raggi Strahlenhintergrund von Impronte d'Autore aufgeklebt. Die Strahlen auf beiden Cardstockstücken habe ich mit Copics ein wenig von unten her schattiert, so dass der Hintergrund nicht zu eintönig wird.
Auf den Strahlenhintergrund habe ich dann weiße Acrylfarbe gespritzt.
Als Boden für meine Motiv - und um Platz für meinen Text zu haben - habe ich ein Stück dunkler-grauen Cardstocks zugeschnitten und oben halbrund ausgeschnitten. Den Cardstock habe ich dann etwa mittig auf den Strahlenhintergrund geklebt.
Um alles habe ich dann einen dicken weißen Rahmen gesetzt. Der ist mit den Double Stitched Rectangles von Create a Smile aus weißem Cardstock gemacht.
My card is more on the simpler side. I used light grey cardstock for my background and put the ray background, cut fro light coral colored cardstock with the Sfondo Raggi die by Impronte d'Autore, on top. I used Copics to darken the rays a bit from the bottom so they don't look too plain.
I splattered some white acrylic paint onto the rays.
As a ground for my image - and also to have room to stamp my text onto - I cut a piece from middle grey cardstock and cut some kind of inward circle from the bottom edge. I adhered this cardstock onto the rays, glueing it down about centered.
I glued a quite wide frame on top of the background. I made that using the Double Stitched Rectangles by Create a Smile and white cardstock.
Die zuckersüßen Mäuse sind aus dem Set Be Happy von Creative-Depot. Das Set hat mir eine liebe Freundin geschenkt - und so passt meine Karte gleich doppelt zum Thema Freundschaft.
Ich habe auch hier Copics zum Colorieren benutzt. Beim Luftballon habe ich die Strahlen aus dem Hintergrund leicht mit in die Coloration eingebaut. Und den Mäusen habe ich kleine rote Bäuche gemalt.
Ich habe alles per Hand ausgeschnitten und dann den Luftballon dick mit Glossy Accents überzogen.
Those cute mice are from Be Happy by Creative-Depot. A dear friend gifted me this set a little ago and so this card is matching the friendship theme two ways.
Again I used Copics for the coloring. When coloring the balloon I did some soft grey rays, mimicking the rays in the background. And the mice got some cute soft-red bellies.
I cut the images out by hand and added a thick layers of Glossy Accents onto the balloon.
Auch der Text ist aus dem Be Happy Stempelset - ich habe nur das Du am Ende des Textes durch ein Stanzteil ersetzt. Den Rest des Textes habe ich mit weißem Embossingpulver auf den mittelgrauen Cardstock embosst. Auf den habe ich direkt unter den Mäusen auch noch einen Mäuse-Schatten aufgemalt.
Das gestanzte Du ist mit der Doppeltes Du Stanze von Create a Smile gemacht - ich habe hier nur das vollflächige benutzt. Das habe ich einmal aus rotem und einmal aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt, leicht versetzt aufeinander und dann auf den Rahmen geklebt.
The text means "In my heart there's so much you" and is again from Be Happy - I just replaced the last word with a die cut one. The rest of the text I white heat embossed onto the middle grey cardstock. I also drew a shadow under the mices' feet.
The die cut "you" I made with the Doppeltes Du die by Create a Smile, only using the solid word here. I cut it once each from red and black cardstock, stacked them and adhered them to the frame.
Ich habe den Boden mit 3D Tape auf den Strahlenhintergrund und dann darauf wieder mit 3D Tape den Rahmen geklebt.
Als Deko habe ich ein paar rote Herzen und einige rot-irisierende Perlen aufgeklebt und dann alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt.
I adherd the middle grey cardstock with foam tape to the rays background, then added the frame, again using foam tape.
I added some red clay hearts and a few red-iridescent pearls as decoration and then adhered the card panel to a white note card.
