Gute Besserung zum Schmunzeln

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Mit  dieser Gute-Besserungs-Karte beweise ich wohl mal wieder meinen etwas verqueren Sinn für Humor. Und ehrlich gesagt, weiß ich manchmal selber nicht, woher die verrückten Ideen zu manchen Karten kommen. Aber ist Lachen nicht die beste Medizin? Und so sollte die Genesung mit dieser Karte super schnell vonstatten gehen.

With this get well card I once again prove my kind of strange sense of humor. And honestly - sometimes I wonder myself where those crazy ideas for some of my cards come from. But here we say "laughing is the best medicine". And so getting well should be easy with this card.

 

Ich habe hier für den Hintergrund im oberen Drittel eines Stücks weißen Cardstocks einen nach außen hin auslaufenden Kreis - also so ungefähr halt - mit Distress Oxide Tattered Rose aufgewischt. Dann habe ich mit dem Focal Point Stencil von Create a Smile und Abandoned Coral die Strahlen darüber gewischt und ein anschließend etwas schwarze Metallic Watercolor nur im oberen Bereich aufgespritzt.

 

Here I inked a circle - well, at least it kind of looks like one - with Distress Oxide Tattered Rose onto the top third of a piece of white cardstock and let the color fade out towards the edges. Then I put the Focal Point stencil by Create a Smile on top and added the rays with Abandoned Coral. I also flicked some black metallic watercolor only on the upper area of my cardstock.

 

 Ich hatte zufällig die Federn S Stanze und das Stempelset Verrücktes Huhn auf dem Tisch liegen - und schon war die Idee zu dieser Karte geboren. 

Bei dem Huhn habe ich erst nur den oberen Bereich inklusive Gesicht sowie den unteren Bereich abgestempelt. Dann habe ich den Cardstock so gedreht, dass die Flügel vor dem Körper sitzen und sie nacheinander leicht überlappend abgestempelt. Die fehlende Außenlinien des Huhns habe ich dann mit einem schwarzen Fineliner dazugemalt. Dann habe ich das nun nackte Huhn mit Copics coloriert - die Backen schön rot, denn es geniert sich gerade ordentlich. Mit dem schwarzen Fineliner habe ich nach dem Colorieren noch kleine Striche und Punkte dazugemalt, so dass man noch besser erkennt, dass das Huhn keine Federn mehr hat.

Auch die Federn, die ich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt habe, habe ich mit Copics ein wenig schattiert und einigen eine schwarze Spitze aufgemalt, das sind natürlich die Federn von den Flügeln. Anschließend habe ich Federn und Huhn zusammengesetzt - zwei der Federn fliegen noch durch die Luft.

Für die Blase mit dem Hatschi habe ich aus der "Tonblase" aus dem Set Expresslieferung das Wort Brummmm herausgeschnitten und dann nur die Außenlinien weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Das Hatschi habe ich dann per Hand mit einem weißen Gelstift hineingeschrieben.

From a different project I had the Federn S die set - the feathers - and the Crazy Chick stamp set laying on my desk - and there was the idea for this card in my head.

First I only stamped the top part of the chicken including the face and the bottom with the feet. Then I turned the cardstock until the wings were in front of the body and stamped them - one after the other - slightly overlapping. The missing outlines of the chicken's body I simply drew with a black fineliner. Then I colored the now naked chick with Copoics - with bright red cheeks because it is feeling very embarrased at the moment. With the black fineliner I added some small lines and dots onto the chick so it is even more obviouse that it has no feathers anymore.

The feathers I die cut from white cardstock and shaded them a bit with my Copics. I added a black tip to some of them and of course these are the ones coming from the chicken's wings. 

Then I put the feathers and chick together - two more feathers are still floating in the air.

For the bubble with the "atishoo" in it I cut the word vroommm out of the bubble in the Espress Delivery set and then white heat embossed only the outlines onto black cardstock. Then I wrote the word inside the bubble by hand, using a white gel pen.

Aus schwarzem Cardstock habe ich mit dem Impact Alphabet Stanzenset von MFT die Buchstaben für das Wort Oops gestanzt und sie dann etwa mittig direkt auf den weißen Cardstock geklebt.

Der kleine Text darunter ist aus dem Set Keine Sorge und - genauso wie der Text darunter - weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst. Das Gute Besserung habe ich mit dem Set Clear Letters aus einzelnen Buchstaben zusammengesetzt. Auch diese beiden Cardstockstreifen sind direkt auf den Cardstock geklebt.

From black cardstock I die cut the letters for the word Oops, using the Impact Alphabet die set by MFT. Then I glued them directly onto the white cardstock, placing them more or less centered.

The small texts under it mean "everything will be fine" and "get well soon". I white heat embossed them, using a stamp from the Don't Worry Set for the smaller text and individual stamps from the Clear Letters set to write the larger text. Again I glued those text strips directly onto the cardstock.

Die Federn hinter und unter dem Huhn sind ebenfalls direkt auf den Cardstock geklebt, das Huhn und die beiden fliegenden Federn mit dünnem, die oberste Feder mit dickem 3D Tape. So entsteht etwas Tiefe auf der Karte. Und auch die Hatschi-Blase ist mit dem dicken 3D Tape aufgeklebt.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles noch schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

The feathers behind and under the chick are also glued directly onto the white cardstock, for the chick and the two floating feathers I used thinn and for the one feather on top thick foam tape. This gives the whole card some depth. And also the bubble is attached with the thick foam tape.

To finish the card, I added a black mat behind the cardstock and attached everything to a white note card.

happy BEERthday

Heute zeige ich Euch die Geburtstagskarte für eine Freundin. Und man mag es ja kaum glauben, sie mag Bier lieber als Wein etc. Auch wenn ich Bayerin bin, Bier mag ich ja so gar nicht. Aber so konnte ich mal die Weißbiergläser von MFT einweihen!

Today I am sharing the birthday card I made for a friend. And believe it or not, she likes beer better than wine etc. Allthough I am a bavarian girl, I really don't like beer. But now I finally had a card I was able to use those beer glasses by MFT for!

Für den Hintergrund habe ich weißen Cardstock mit Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina, Mermaid Lagoon und Uncharted Mariner eingefärbt, anschließend habe ich etwas Wasser und goldene Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

For the background I inked up a piece of white cardstock with Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina, Mermaid Lagoon and Uncharted Mariner, then I flicked some water and some gold metallic watercolor on top.

 

 Die Biergläser und der Text standen von vornherein als Elemente der Karte fest. Dann wusste ich nicht so recht weiter. Eigentlich wollte ich die In Good Hands Stanzen von MFT verwenden und Hände die Biergläser halten lassen. Aber die waren irgendwie viel zu groß - so kleine Weißbiergläser, wie sie in den Händen gewirkt haben, gibt es in Bayern nicht! Also habe ich das Partythema aufgegriffen.

Mit Stanzen aus dem Set Pinwheel Party von TheGreetery habe ich aus schwarzem Glitter-Cardstock die Girlanden, aus weißem Cardstock die Deko-Räder und deren Mitten aus schwarzem Glossy Cardstock gestanzt. Die Deko-Räder habe ich dann mit den dazugehörigen Stencils jeweils zweifarbig gewischt - die kleineren mit Black Soot und Salvaged Patina, das größere mit Black Soot und Wild Honey. Dann habe ich alles auf den oberen Teil des Hintergrundes geklebt - die Räder mit 2 verschieden dicken 3D Tapes - und dazwischen noch ein paar Luftschlangen oder Konfetti gesetzt. Die sind mit einer Stanze aus dem Set Balloon Shaker Window and Frame von MFT aus goldenem Glitter-Cardstock gestanzt.

I knew from the start, that I wanted this text and some beer glasses as elements for this card. But then I was at a loss. I wanted to use the In Good Hands die set by MFT and let some hands raise those glasses. But they were too large for the glasses - here in Bavaria we don't have beer glasses as small as they seemed in those hands. So I went with a party theme.

Using dies from the Pinwheel Party die set by TheGreetery I die cut the garlands from black glitter cardstock, the pinwheels from white cardstock and their centers from black glossy cardstock. Then I used the matching stencil to color the pinwheels - the smaller ones with Salvaged Patina and Black Soot, the larger one with Wild Honey and Black Soot. I attached everything to the upper part of my background - using thick and thin foam tape for the pinwheels - and put a few streamers/confetti in between. Those I cut using a die from the Balloon Shaker Window and Frame die set by MFT and gold glitter cardstock.

Die Biergläser sind mit dem Bareware Basics Stanzenset von MFT gemacht. Das Tolle an dem Set ist, dass es jeweils eine Stanze für das Glas sowie eine etwas kleinere für die Füllung gibt. Ich habe die Gläser aus Acetate gestanzt, das Innenleben aus weißem Cardstock. Außerdem habe ich den Bierschaum mit zwei Stanzen aus dem Set Pint Sized ebenfalls aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt.

Die weißen Teile habe ich dann mit Copics coloriert - das Bier mit YR27, E35, YR21, YR31 und YR30, den Schaum mit W3, YR30 und W00. Und ich schreibe diese Farben hier hauptsächlich für mich selbst auf, denn es hat ewig gedauert, bis ich eine Kombi gefunden habe, die nach Bier und nicht nach Urin aussah... ;)

Es hat mich etwas gestört, dass die Füllung des Biers  nicht bis oben zum Rand ging - vor allem, da ich ja den Schaum aufgeklebt habe und das sah wirklich komisch aus. Also habe ich den Bereich zwischen Bieroberkante und Glasrand mit weißem Cardstock aufgefüllt und ebenfalls mit den Schaumfarben schattiert. Dann habe ich die Füllung in meinem Xyron auf der Oberseite, also der colorierten Seite, mit Kleber überzogen und hinter die Gläser aus Folie geklebt. Darauf habe ich dann mit einem weißen Gelstift noch Lichtreflexe aufgemalt. Die Gläser sind wieder mit dünnem und dickem 3D Tape aufgeklebt, um verschiedene Ebenen zu erhalten.

Der Text ist aus dem Stempelset Here's to You von MFT. Ich habe dafür zwei Stempel kombiniert - das "happy beer..... to you" von einem, von einem weiteren das "thday" und die beiden Linien. So fand ich die Kombo am besten. Die Texte sind schwarz auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt. An die untere Kante habe ich einen schmalen Streifen schwarzen Glitter-Cardstocks angeklebt und dann alles mit 3D Tape auf der Karte befestigt.

The beer glasses are from the Bareware Basics die set by MFT. The great thing about this set is, that there are different glasses with one die for the glass itself and another, smaller one to cut the filling. I die cut the glasses from acetate, the filling/liquid from white cardstock. I also die cut the froth using two different dies from the Pint Sized die set, again from white cardstock.

Then I used my Copics to color the white die cuts - I used YR27, E35, YR21, YR31 and YR30 for the liquid, W3, YR30 and W00 for the froth. And I am writing those colors down mainly for myself, because it took me forever to find a combo, that looked like beer and not like urin... ;)

It bothered me, that the filling didn't go all the way up to the brim of the glass, especially since I put the froth on top and that looked really strange. So I filled the area between the top edge of the liquid and the top edge of the glass with white cardstock and shaded that with the colors I used for the die cut froth pieces. I ran the liquids through my Xyron, putting the glue on top of the die cuts - meaning the colored side. Then I attached them to the back of the glasses and added some light reflections with a white gel pen. I adhered them to the background again using thick and thin foam tape to add different layers and some dimension to the card. 

The text is from the stamp set Here's to You by MFT. I combined two different stamps to get the text I wanted. I stamped the "happy beer....to you" with one of them, the "thday" and the two lines with another one. I just liked that text the best. I stamped them with black ink onto white cardstock and added a thin strip of black glitter cardstock to the bottom edge of my text strip, then attached it to the card with foam tape.

Hier kann man die verschiedenen Lagen, vor allem aber die Biergläser besser sehen - auch wenn fast alle eine ziemliche Spiegelung aufweisen. Aber man sieht, wie die Folie größer geschnitten ist als die Flüssigkeit im Glas. Außerdem kann man hier zumindest erahnen, dass ich mit einem klaren Glaze Pen von Sakura außen auf die Biergläser kleine Kondens-Tropfen aufgetragen habe. 

Da der Text recht breit war, habe ich den Hintergrund etwas größer gelassen, auf die übliche Mattung verzichtet und alles direkt auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

Here you can see the different layers, but especially the beer glasses better - even if most of them are mirroring my window. But you can see, how much bigger the glasses are than the liquid. And you can at least kind of see that I used a clear Glaze Pen by Sakura to add little drops of water to the outside of the glasses.

Since my text turned out pretty wide I kept the background wider as well and skipped the usual mat, instead attaching everything directly to a white note card.

Muttertagskarte mit Hasen

Heute zeige ich Euch eine Muttertagskarte mit den süßen Hasen von ColoradoCraft. Es wird demnächst wohl mehr Karten mit Motiven von ihnen geben, denn ganz eventuell sind beim Bestellen der "Gemüse-Serie" noch ein paar weitere Stempel im Warenkorb gelandet. Ihr kennt das sicher. So ganz  ohne bewusstes Zutun sind da plötzlich diese zusätzlichen Stempel im Warenkorb, aber die bemerkt man erst, wenn die Bestellung schon aufgegeben ist.... ;) Die Motive sind aber auch zu süß und ich verstehe  nicht, warum ich da nicht schon viel früher zugeschlagen habe.

Today I am sharing this mother's day card with the cute bunnies by ColoradoCraft with you. There will be more cards with their images coming your way those next weeks, because maybe - just maybe - there ended up a few additional stamp sets in my shopping cart when I ordered the "vegetables series". I'm sure you all can relate. All of a sudden there are those additional stamps in your cart, but you only realize that after you hit the "order" button.... ;) Their images are just too cute and I really don't understand why I didn't order them earlier.

Die süßen Hasen sind aus dem Stempelset Happy Day. Ich habe hinter die Hasen noch etwas Gras aus dem Set Greener Gras abgeestempelt und dann alles mit Copics coloriert und per Hand ausgeschnitten. Für den Hintergrund habe ich etwas Distress Ink Refill Tumbled Glass mit Wasser vermischt und mit einem Pinsel auf ein Stück Watercolor Cardstock aufgetragen. Dabei habe ich mich ganz grob an den Außenlinien der Stempel orientiert. Anschließend habe ich noch etwas weiße, mit Wasser verdünnte Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt und dabei versucht, sie so gut wie möglich nur auf dem blauen Teil des Cardstocks aufzubringen. Nach dem Trocknen der Spritzer habe ich dort dann das Motiv auf den Cardstock geklebt.

Those cute bunnies are from the Happy Day stamp set. I stamped some grass from the Greener Grass set behind them, then colored everything in with Copics and fuzzy cut the images out.

For the background I mixed some Distress Ink Refill Tumbled Glass with water and used a brush to do a watercolor wash on a piece of watercolor cardstock. I roughly followed the shape of the cut out images. Then I spritzed some white acrylic paint, mixed with water, onto the cardstock, trying to keep it mainly on the blue area as much as possible. After the splatters had dried I glued the image onto the cardstock.

Für den Text habe ich das Wort mom - ich nenne meine Mutter tatsächlich so - mit einer der Mom Stanzen von MFT viermal aus hellblauem Cardstock ausgestanzt, die Teile aufeinander und dann leicht das Motiv überlappend auf die Karte geklebt. 

Die kleineren Texte darunter sind von Stampcorner - das Hab dich Lieb aus dem Set Kuschelzeit, die Zeile darunter ist aus Stempeln aus den Sets Kleine Worte und Kleine Worte 2 zusammengesetzt. Unter der schwarzen Linie wird eigentlich ein Herz gestempelt, das habe ich abgedeckt.

For the text I die cut the word mom four times from light blue cadstock, stacked the letters and then glued them onto the card, making them overlap the bottom of the image slightly.

The smaller text underneath mean "I love you" and "love for you on mother's day". 

Und weil ich fand, dass sich ein paar kleine Herzen auf der Karte super machen würden, habe ich noch vier rosafarbene Herzen auf der Karte verteilt - drei am Himmel und eines auf dem O von mom. Dann habe ich den Cardstock schwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

And since I thought a few small hearts would be the perfect embellishments for this card, I glued down four pink ones onto the card - three onto the sky and one onto the O of the word mom. Then I added a black mat behind the cardstock and attached everything to a white note card.

Hunde als Geburtstagsgratulanten

Heute zeige ich Euch eine Karte, die zum Geburtstag einer Freundin entstanden ist. Und weil die drei Hunde hat, fand ich es eine süße Idee, die als Gratulanten auf die Karte zu packen.

Today I am sharing a card that I made for the birthday of a friend. Since she has three dogs, I thought it would be cute to include those on the card.

Eigentlich wollte ich eine Straße aufwischen, auf der das Auto fahren kann. Aber das sah mit dem Text darunter irgendwie komisch aus. Also habe ich den weißen Cardstock nur mit Distress Oxide Rustic Wilderness, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers und Mermaid Lagoon gewischt und etwas Wasser darüber gesprenkelt. 

I had planned to ink a street, on which the car could drive, onto the background. But that looked strange with the text on top. So I inked the white cardstock only with Distress Oxide Rustic Wilderness, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers and Mermaid Lagoon and flicked some water onto it.

Ich habe ein wenig überlegt, wie ich die Hunde einbauen wollte, und dann kam mir die Idee, sie auf die Ladefläche eines Pickups zu setzen.

Der Truck ist aus einem Stanzenset von Action - eigentlich ist es ein Hochzeitsauto, von vorne. Ich habe den Hauptteil des Autos zweimal gestanzt, hinter eine der Scheiben Acetate geklebt und beide Teile aufeinander geklebt. Als Ladefläche habe ich dann einfach ein Rechteck aus dem selben Cardstock gestanzt und mit dünnem 3D Tape auf die - eigentliche - Motorhabe geklebt. Mit Lichtern in rot und orange sieht es dann schon aus wie das Heck eines Autos. 

Alle Autoteile habe ich mit Copics etwas schattiert, außerdem habe ich silbernen Spiegelcardstock an die Spiegel geklebt. 

Die Stoßstange habe ich ebenfalls aus silbernem Spiegelcardstock gestanzt, außerdem habe ich ein Nummernschild angebracht. Darauf habe ich ein "u r gr8" aus einem Stempelset von HoneyBeeStamps aufgestempelt. Die Rücklichter sind außerdem mit Glossy Accents überzogen.

Auf die Ladefläche habe ich zuerst Geschenke geklebt. Die sind aus dem Stempelset Loads of Love von HoneyBeeStamps. Eigentlich sind es mehr Geschenke, denn der Pickup, für den sie eigentlich als Ladung gedacht sind, ist um einige größer. Ich habe einfach links und rechts ein paar Geschenke weggeschnitten. Da die Hunde davor sitzen, fällt das gar nicht auf.

Die Hunde sind aus dem Simply Celebrate Critters Stempelset von LawnFawn und ebenfalls mit Copics coloriert. Um die Hunde zumindest einigermaßen an die Hunde des Geburtstagskinds anzupassen, habe ich einfach drei passende aus der Reihe ausgewählt und nebeneinander auf die Ladefläche geklebt. 

Außerdem habe ich zwei herzförmige Luftballons, wieder aus dem Set Loads of Love, an das Auto gehängt. 

Da besagte Freundin gerne mal "kleine, natürlich lieb gemeinte, Gemeinheiten" austeilt, aber genauso gut einstecken kann, habe ich über jeden der Hunde eine Sprechblase gesetzt. Die sind aus Sets von WhimsyStamps und MamaElephant, die Texte aus dem Set Inside Snarky Birthday Sentiments von HoneyBeeStamps. Ich habe jeweils eine aus weißem und eine aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzte Sprechblase aufeinander geklebt und dann alle mit 3D Tape auf dem Hintergrund befestigt.

I thought about how I could include the dogs, then got the idea of placing them in the bed of a pickup truck.

The truck is from a die set by Action - originally it's a wedding car, shown from the front. I die cut the main piece of the truck twice, put acetate behind one of the windows and glued both pieces together. For the bed I simply cut a rectnalge from the same color fo cardstock and attached it with thin foam tape to the car. With lights cut from red and orange cardstock it looks like the back of a car.

I shaded all car pieces with Copics and glued tiny pieces of silver mirror cardstock to the mirrors.

The bumper I also cut from silver mirror cardstock, and I added a number plate with a stamped on "u r gr8" from a die set by HoneyBeeStamps. The lights are also covered with Glossy Accents.

Onto the bed of the truck I first attached some presents. Those are from the Loads of Love stamp set by HoneyBeeStamps. Originally there are more gits, because the pickup that they are made for is way larger. I simply cut off some gifts on both sides. Since the dogs are sitting in front of them you really don't notice.

The dogs are from the Simply Celebrate Critters stamp set by LawnFawn and also colored with Copics. To make the dogs look at least a bit like the friend's dogs, I've chosen the three that fit best and glued them to the bed. 

I also attached two heart shaped balloons, again from the Loads of Love stamp set, to the car.

Since said friend has lots of humor - and is giving out examples several times daily, but also can laugh about herself - I decided to place a speech bubble over the head of each dog. Those are by WhimsyStamps and MamaElephant, the texts from the Inside Snarky Birthday Sentiments set by HoneyBeeStamps. I die cut each speech bubble once from white and once from black cardstock, glued them on top of each other and then attached them to the background with foam tape.

Unter dem Auto habe ich dann den Text "auf die Wiese" geklebt.

Dafür habe ich zwei kleine Texte aus dem Stempelset Itty Bitty Birthday von MFT weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst und wieder mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Das Wort Birthday ist mit der Happy Birthday Stanze von MFT gemacht - das happy habe ich hier weggelassen. Ich habe das Wort dreimal aus schwarzem und einmal aus türkisfarbenem Cardstock gestanzt, alles aufeinander und dann zwischen die kleinen Cardstockstreifen mit dem Rest des Textes geklebt.

I white heat embossed two texts from the Itty Bitty Birthday set by MFT onto black cardstock and adhered the strips with foam tape. The word birthday is die cut with the Happy Birthday die by MFT - I didn't use the happy here. I cut the word three times from black and once from aqua cardstock, stacked them and then glued them between the two strips with the rest of the text.

Ich fand, mehr Deko braucht die Karte nicht. Und auch auf die schwarze Mattung habe ich hier verzichtet, da ich wirklich jeden Zentimeter Platz brauchen konnte. Also habe ich zum Schluss alles nur auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

I decided, this card doesn't need any more decorations. And I also skipped the black mat because for the scene and text I really needed every inch I could get. So I simply attached everything to a white note card to finish the card.

Plant Dreams

 

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Heute zeige ich Euch eine Karte, auf der ich einige Stempel aus dem März-Release von ColoradoCraft kombiniert habe. Ich finde diese Stempel so genial und sie sind gerade jetzt, wo doch die Gartensaison endlich wieder los geht, perfekt.

Mit diesem Release ware es wie verhext. Kein Shop in Deutschland oder auch den Niederlanden hatte es bis Ende April auf Lager und in England mag ich seit dem Brexit nicht mehr bestellen. Und bis ich bemerkte, dass die Stempelwunderwelt in Österreich das Release auf Lager hatte, waren einige der Motive bereits ausverkauft. Zum Glück hatten sie wohl recht schnell Nachschub geordert, so dass ich mir die Motive endlich kaufen konnte. Und jetzt mal ganz ehrlich - habt Ihr Euch schon mal einen Stempel doppelt gekauft? Und ich meine jetzt nicht, aus Versehen, weil Ihr vergessen hattet, dass Ihr ihn bereits habt, ich denke, das ist uns allen schon passiert. Ich spreche davon, ihn mit voller Absicht ein zweites Mal zu ordern. Nun, ich gestehe, ich habe das hier getan. Allerdings zum allerersten Mal. Denn es gibt einen Hintergrundstempel, auf dem alle Motive aus dem Release nur kleiner enthalten sind. Mein eigentlicher Plan war, die gestempelten Motive dann einzeln auszuschneiden oder "selektiert" abzustempeln. Nun, gerade wenn man das Motiv eben nicht ausschneiden kann oder will - so wie hier - stellte sich das als gar nicht so einfach heraus. Deswegen befindet sich auch diese Linie am Himmel. Dort hatte ich aus Versehen einen weiteren Teil des Stempels eingefärbt und hatte einen schwarzen Strich am Himmel. Den habe ich dann mit einem weißen Gelstift übermalt und anschließend Distress Oxide drübergewischt, man sieht ihn aber trotzdem. Und das ärgert mich. Und so habe ich mir den Stempel ein zweites Mal bestellt, in der vollen Absicht, ihn in seine einzelnen Motive zu zerlegen. Ich hatte überlegt, ob ich das mit dem einen Stempel machen sollte, aber dann hätte ich ihn nie wieder als kompletten Hintergrund zusammengesetzt bekommen. So, und jetzt könnt Ihr mich für verrückt erklären....

Hello everyone!

Today I am sharing a card with you, for that I combined a few images from the march release by ColoradoCraft. I just loved this release and the images are perfect now, when garden season finally starts again.

I wanted this release so badly as soon as I had seen a few previews. But none of the shops in Germany or the Netherlands got them in until end of april - and I don't like ordering from the UK anymore since Brexit. It means just too much extra costs with taxes and higher shipping costs. And when I finally realized, that a shop in Austria had the stamps in store, some of them were already sold out.Luckily they re-ordered pretty soon so I was finally able to order them. And now - hands up, and be honest: has anyone of you ever ordered a stamp twice? And I don't mean by accident because you forgot you already had it (guess we all have done that). I talk about ordering a stamp for a second time on purpose. I have to admit, I did that with the background stamp from this release. It shows all the images from the release just smaller. My original plan was, to cut the stamped images out individually or stamp just the one image I wanted. But when you can't or don't want to cut out an individual image - just like me on this card - this plan didn't turn out as being easily done. That's why there is that line in the sky. I had inked up another part of the stamp without realizing it and stamped a black strip on my cardstock. I used a white gel pen to cover it and then went over it with the Distress Oxides, but it's still visible. And it bothers me. So I ordered the stamp a second time, only to cut it into the individual images. I had thought about doing that with the one stamp I already had, but I knew I would never be able to put it back together again. And know you can call me crazy...

Nun aber endlich zur Karte. Es ist eine One Layer Card (deswegen hatte ich auch die Option, die kleinen Motive einzeln auszuschneiden nicht). Ich habe das Hauptmotiv aus dem Set Garden Therapy abgestempelt, mit Maskind Tape abgedeckt und dann den Salatkopf aus dem Set Veg Out sowie die oberen Teile verschiedener Möhren aus den Sets Veg Out, Veggie Stack und Summer Garden (besagter Hintergrundstempel) dahinter bzw. daneben gestempelt. 

Anschließend habe ich die Motive sowie den Erdboden und das Gras mit Copics (aus)gemalt. Auch der Zaun ist einfach frei Hand mit Copics dazugemalt. Nur den Himmel habe ich mit Distress Oxide Mermaid Lagoon gewischt. 

Für ein paar Highlights habe ich einen weißen Gelstift verwendet und dann auch den Text aus dem Set Veggie Stack mit schwarzer Tinte direkt oben rechts auf den Cardstock geklebt. 

Dann habe ich alles nur noch schwarz gemattet - okay, also doch keine wahre One Layer Card - und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

But now finally back to the card. It's a One Layer Card (that also why I didn't have the option to cut out the images individually and glue them into the scene). I stamped the main image from the Garden Therapy set, masked it and then added the lettuce head from the Veg Out set and the tops of different carrots from the sets Veg Out, Veggie Stack and Summer Garden (said background stamp) behind and next to the bunny.

Then I colored the images with Copics and used those as well to create the soily ground and the grass in the background. Also the fence is hand drewn with Copics. Only for the sky I used Distress Oxide Mermaid Lagoon.

I added a few highlights with a white gel pen and then stamped the text from the Veggie Stack set with black ink in the top right corner directly onto the cardstock.

Then I just added a black mat (okay, it's not a One Layer Card) and attached everything to a white note card.

 

Nervensägen zum Muttertag

Ich hoffe, der Posttitel schreckt Euch nicht zu sehr ab. Muttertag steht auch schon wieder vor der Tür. Und so zeige ich heute auf dem Stampcorner Blog eine Muttertagskarte.

Mother's day is coming around here in Germany. And so I made a mother's day card, that I'm sharing over on the Stampcorner Blog today. 

Seit Dezember gibt es ja das Stempelset Nervensägen. Und ich fand, die passen doch, mit anderem Text, super für eine Muttertagskarte!

Ich habe hier eher clean und simple gearbeitet, manchmal braucht eine Karte nicht viel Chi-Chi, um eine Botschaft rüber zu bringen.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich etwa die untere Hälfte eines Stücks weißen Cardstocks abgedeckt und dann den oberen Teil mit Distress Ink Salvaged Patina gewischt. Dabei habe ich die Farbe zum Rand hin auslaufen lassen - mit einem Blending Brush geht das super einfach. Dann habe ich den unteren Teil des Cardstocks "freigelegt" und an der Nahtstelle auch nach unten hin ganz soft ebenfalls ein wenig der Farbe aufgetragen. Dann habe ich etwas Copic Opaque White über den Hintergrund gespritzt.

Since december there is the stamp set "Nervensägen" available in the Stampcorner store. A Nervensäge is someone, who goes on your nerves, literally it is a "nerv saw". I really thing, with a different text this image would be perfect for a mother's day card.

I worked pretty clean and simple here - sometimes a card doesn't need a lot of chi-chi to bring a message over.

For the background I covered the about the bottom half of a piece of white cardstock and then inked the upper part with Distress Ink Salvaged Patina. I let the color fade out close to the edges - with a blending brush that's really easily done. Then I removed the copy paper I had used to cover the bottom and added a very soft blend of color there as well. I also flicked some Copic Opaque White onto the cardstock. 

Hier sind die drei süßen Nervensägen - und sie schauen doch so brav und unschuldig aus! Ich habe sie mit Copics coloriert, die Highlights sind mit einem weißen Gelstift gemacht. Außerdem habe ich die Blumen aus dem Stempelset Blumenwiese abgestempelt, eine davon coloriert und ausgeschnitten. Die habe ich dann dem größten der Otter in den Arm gegeben - die haben sie gerade extra für Mama gepflückt.

Dann habe ich die Otter ebenfalls ausgeschnitten und auf den Hintergrund geklebt.

Und weil Herzen auf einer Muttertagskarte einfach nicht fehlen dürfen, habe ich noch drei kleine Herzen aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt, ebenfalls mit Copics passend zur Blume coloriert und neben jedem Otter eines aufgeklebt.

Here are those three cute "nerv saws" - and they look so inncoent and nice! I colored them with Copics and used a white gel pen for the highlights. I also stamped the flowers from the stampset Blumenwiese, colored just one of them and cut it out. Then I let the largest of those three otters hold it - they just picked it just for mom.

I cut the otters out as well and attached them to the background. 

And since there just have to be some hearts on a mother's day card, I die cut three from white cardstock, colored them with Copics, making them match the flower, and then adhered one next to each of those otters. 

Für den Text habe ich die Buchstaben für das Wort Mama ausgestanzt - einmal aus weißem, einmal aus dunkeltürkisfarbenem Cardstock. Die Stanzteile habe ich dann etwas versetzt aufeinander geklebt.

Für den Muttertagsgruß habe ich Stempel aus den Sets Kleine Worte und Kleine Worte 2 kombiniert. Sie sind mit schwarzer Tinte auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt, den habe ich dann schwarz gemattet und den Textstreifen mit dünnem 3D Tape über die ausgestanzten Buchstaben geklebt.

For the text I die cut the letters for the german word mom - once from white and once from dark turquoise cardstock. I glued the white letters onto the turquoise one, moving them a bit to the top right. For the subtext, which means "happy mother's day", I stamped the text with black ink onto white cardstock, then matted the strip black and adhered it across the die cut letters using thin foam tape.

Die Texte habe ich dann so auf den Hintergrund geklebt, dass die Otter darauf zu stehen scheinen - das erdet die Motive gleich noch.

Dann habe ich den Cardstock schwarz gemattet und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. 

I attached the text to the background right under the otters, so they seem to stand on the letters. That also grounds the images.

I matted the cardstock black and adhered it to a white note card.

Create a Smile May Sketch Challenge

May is here - and of course it brings a new sketch challenge by Create a Smile. And this is the sketch, that is our theme for the next two weeks: 

Durch die Herzen, hat mich der Sketch zuerst zu einer Muttertagskarte inspiriert, dann habe ich mich aber in letzter Sekunde umentschieden und diese Karte gemacht:

With the hearts, I was tempted to make a mother's day card - mother's day will be in about 10 days here in Germany - but then last minute I changed my mind and made this card instead:

Auf der Karte ist sehr viel weiß zu sehen, aber da sich alle Elemente unten oder rechts befinden, wird das Design der Karte durch das Weiß in Balance gebracht.

There's lots of white on my card, but since all the elements are either at the bottom or the right of the cardstock, the white balances out the design.

Um die Rechtecke auf dem Sketch darzustellen, habe ich die Windows Stencil unten rechts auf den Cardstock gelegt und drei der vier Felder mit Distress Oxide Lumberjack Plaid gewischt. Ich habe die Schablone gedreht, so dass meine Rechtecke breiter und dafür nicht so hoch sind. Wie so oft, hatte ich auch diesmal die Elemente, die ich für die Karte verwenden wollte, auf den Cardstock gelegt und so war es einfach stimmiger für mich. Dann habe ich auf den unteren Teil des Cardstocks hell-türkisfarbene Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.

Aus hell-türkisfarbenem habe ich Cardstock 3 Rechtecke, ein wenig kleiner als die aufgewischten, zugeschnitten und mit dem Freude und Jubel Stempel den Text Ton-in-Ton daraufgestempelt. Die Rechtecke habe ich dann mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt.

Für den Text habe ich das Wort Glückwunsch aus dem Kleine Worte Stanzenset aus dem selben türkisfarbenen Cardstock gestanzt, auf schwarzen Cardstock geklebt und die Schattenlage mit der Schere geschnitten. Das "lieben" ist Teil eines der Stempel aus dem Set Bunte Texte und schwarz auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt. Dann habe ich die beiden Textteile - wieder mit 3D Tape - auf dem unteren Rechteck aufgeklebt.

Als Deko habe ich hier dann noch drei Herzen verteilt - gestanzt aus schwarzem und rotem Cardstock mit der Hearts Stanze. Ich habe dann die schwarzen Outlines und die roten gefüllten Herzen verwendet.

To create the rectangles that are drawn on the sketch, I placed the Windows stencil to the bottom right of my cardstock and then inked three of the rectangles with Distress Oxide Lumberjack Plaid. I turned the stencil 90° degrees so the rectangles are wider than tall. As usual I had placed the elements I wanted to use on the card on my cardstock and the rectangles oriented like this just seemed better. Then I flicked some light aqua metallic watercolor over the bottom of the cardstock.

I cut three rectangles from light aqua cardstock, making them just a bit smaller than the ones I just inked onto the cardstock, then stamped the Freude und Jubel background stamp onto it, using a similar colored ink as the cardstock itself to get a tone on tone look. I used thin foam tape to attach the rectangles to the cardstock.

For the text I die cut the word Glückwunsch - congrats - from the same aqua cardstock, adhered it to a piece of black cardstock and then used my scissors to cut around it to create the shadow layer. I also stamped a little "heartfelt" with black ink onto a strip of white cardstock and used foam tape again to attach both texts to the bottom one of the rectangles.

And as decorations I added three hearts, die cut from black and red cardstock using the Hearts die set. I used the black outlines and the red solid hearts on the card.

Hauptelement sind die Mohnblüten - da die demnächst auch das Blühen anfangen, passen die nicht nur farblich prima. Sie sind aus dem Stempelset Pure Poppies und mit Copics coloriert. Für die Stiele habe ich hier zu einer grün-blauen Farbkombi gegriffen, denn reines Grün wäre zu sehr aus dem Farbkonzept gefallen. Ich habe die Blumen ausgeschnitten und wieder mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt.

Main element on this card are the poppies - and since they will start blooming soon they do not only fit the color scheme perfectly. They are from the Pure Poppies stamp set and colored with Copics. For the stems I went with a blue-ish green color combo, a bright green would not have fitted the colors I used for the rest of the card. I cut the flowers out and adhered them with foam tape to the background.

Um die Karte fertigzustellen, habe ich dann den Cardstock nur noch schwarz gemattet und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

To finish the card, I only added a black mat to my cardstock and attached everything to a white note card.

Auf meiner heutigen Karten tummeln sich jede Menge kleine Igel - und sie scheinen jede Menge Spaß zu haben.

On the card I am sharing with you today a lot of little hedgehogs are playing on a meadow - and they seem to have lots of fun.

Ich liebe die Agenda-Serie von MamaElephant. Und da konnte ich an dem Little Hedgehog Agenda Set mit den Igeln natürlich nicht vorbei. Hier habe ich sie das erste Mal verwendet.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück weißen Cardstock im unteren Bereich mit Distress Oxide Bundled Sage, im oberen mit Mermaid Lagoon gewischt. Dann habe ich einen der Strahlenstencil von MFT aufgelegt und weiße Stempelfarbe durch den Stencil aufgewischt. Ich weiß, den Look hatte ich in letzter Zeit öfter, aber ich finde ihn einfach klasse. Die Oxides darunter geben immer ein wenig Farbe ab, so dass die Strahlen nie rein weiß aussehen. Anschließend habe ich helltürkis farbene Metallic Watercolor auf den Himmel aufgespritzt.

I love the agenda series by MamaElephant. And so I couldn't resist the Little Hedgehog Agenda set. Here I used them for the first time.

For the background I inked the bottom of a piece of white paper with Distress Oxide Bundled Sage, the top with Mermaid Lagoon. Then I put one of the rays stencil by MFT on top and added a layer of white ink through the stencil. I know, I've done this look quite a few times lately, but I just love it. Since the Oxides underneath always mix a bit with the white ink, the rays never appear bright white. Then I flicked some light aqua metallic watercolor onto the sky.

Ich konnte mich einfach nicht für nur einen oder zwei der Igel entscheiden, deswegen sind gleich sechs Stück auf die Karte gehüpft. Ich habe sie mit Copics coloriert und per Hand ausgeschnitten. 

Für die Szene rund um die Igel habe ich ganz hinten eine Lage  hohen Grases aus grünem Cardstock gestanzt, mit Distress Oxide Forest Moss gewischt und aufgeklebt. Darauf kam dann die Mushroom Border von LawnFawn mit dazugehörigem Grashügel. Den Hügel habe ich mit Distress Oxide Rustic Wilderness gewischt, die Hüte der Pilze, die ich aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt habe, habe ich mit Aged Mahogany schattiert. 

Die größeren Pilze sind alle aus einem Stanzenset von Action. Die Hüte sind wieder rot gewischt, die Stiele aus craft farbenem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics schattiert, ebenso die Unterseite des großen Pilzes, nur dass ich den natürlich aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt habe. 

Vor die großen Pilze habe ich dann eine weitere Lage des Grashügels aus dem Mushroom Border Set von LawnFawn geklebt, diesmal mit Mowed Lawn gewischt und mit grüner Metallic Watercolor bespritzt. Die großen Pilze und die Graslage davor sind mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt und dann habe ich die Igel in der Szene verteilt. 

Da auf der Karte unten doch recht viel los ist, sah der Himmel fast ein wenig nackt aus. Deswegen habe ich noch drei Schmetterlinge aus dem Stempelset Butterfly Kisses von LawnFawn abgestempelt und coloriert. Ich habe dabei die Farben verwendet, die ich auch für die Stacheln der Igel benutzt habe. Nun, dadurch sahen sie eher wie Motten statt Schmetterlingen aus. Deswegen habe ich die Flügel noch mit Stickles beglittert, was den Farbton ein wenig verändert. 

I just couldn't pick just one or two of those hedgehogs and so I used six of them on this card. I colored them with Copics and cut them out by hand.

For the scene around the hedgehogs I glued a layer of tall grass directly onto the backround. I die cut it from green cardstock and shaded it a bit with Distress Oxide Forest Moss. On top I put the Mushroom Border by LawnFawn including the grassy hill. I shaded the grass with Rustic Wilderness, the mushroom tops, that I've cut from red cardstock, are shaded with Aged Mahogany.

The larger mushrooms are all from a dies set by Action. Again I inked the mushroom tops with red ink, the stems I cut from kraft cardstock and shaded them with Copics. The same I did with the white pieces of the largest mushroom, of course I had die cut those from white cardstock.

In front of the large mushrooms I adhered another layer of grass, again cut with the die from the Mushroom Border die set, this time inked with Mowed Lawn. ThenI flicked some green metallic watercolor onto it. The large mushrooms and the grass in front of them are attached with foam tape, then I added my hedgehogs to the scene.

And since there was a lot happening on the bottom of the card, the top looked a bit plain. So I stamped three butterflies from the Butterfly Kisses stamp set by LawnFawn and colored them in. I used the same colors I had used for the hedgehog's stings and that made them look more like moths than butterflies. So I covered the wings with Stickles, what also changed the tone of the wings a bit.

Und dann kam die große Frage auf, welcher Text auf die Karte passen könnte. Ich hatte sofort das Wortspiel Hedgehugs im Kopf. Also habe ich geschaut, was ich da passendes im Sortiment habe - und habe nur das Stempelset Happy Hedgehogs von MFT gefunden. Aus diesem Set sind die gestempelten Worte, die ich dann mit einem aus rotem Cardstock gestanztem love ergänzt  habe. Dafür habe ich die Swirled Love Stanze von PoppyStamps verwendet. Ich habe es wieder mehrfach gestanzt und die Teile vor dem Aufkleben auf die Karte aufeinander gesetzt. 

Ganz unten links in der Ecke war dann noch Platz für einen weiteren kleinen Pilz samt Gras, den ich vom oberen Teil der Deko abgeschnitten und somit übrig hatte.

And then I wondered, what text would fit that card. I immediately thought of Hedgehugs and whent through my stash to see, what I habe. I only found that in the Happy Hedgehogs stamp set by MFT. All stamped words are from this set, that I combined with a die cut word love. I cut that from red cardstock using the Swirled Love die by PoppyStamps. I die cut it four times and stacked the pieces before attaching them to the card.

In the bottom left corner there was room for another mushroom with grass, that I had cut off of the upper part of the decorations and that was left over.

Hier kann man den Schimmer auf dem Himmel und dem Gras und die verschiedenen Lagen der Karte wieder besser erkennen.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles shwarz gemattet und auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

To finish it, I matted the cardstock black and adhered it to a white note card.

Tochter-Geburtstagskarte #2

Nachdem ich Euch gestern die Geburtstagskarte für eine meiner Zwillinge gezeigt  habe, folgt heute die Karte für die "andere Hälfte".

After sharing the birthday card for one of my twins with you yesterday, I am sharing the one for the "other half" today.

Ihr seht schon - gemeinsames Element ist die große 22 und die folierten Texte.

Natascha ist "die Kreative" und studiert Design. Also sollte auch die Karte etwas mit Kreativität zu tun haben - auch wenn da heute ganz viel am PC stattfindet.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich einen Marmoreffekt gold auf weißen Cardstock foliert.

As you can see - the big 22 and the foiled texts are the element, both cards have in common.

Natascha is a creative person and studies design. So I wanted my card to have something to do with creativity - even if most of it is done on a computer nowadays.

For the background I foiled a marble pattern with gold foil onto a piece of white cardstock.

Die beiden Zahlen sind wieder mit den Outline Numbers Stanzen von MFT gemacht - je dreimal aus weißem Cardstock und für die oberste Lage einmal aus schwarzem Glitter-Cardstock. Ich habe sie aufeinander geklebt und vor dem Aufkleben auf der Karte einige orangefarbene und pinke Farbkleckse auf dem Hintergrund verteilt. Die sind mit Stanzen aus dem Art Supplies Stanzenset von LawnFawn aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert. Im Hintergrund habe ich zwei große und einen kleineren Klecks aufgeklebt.

The numbers are again made with the Outline Numbers die set by MFT - I die cut each three times from white cardstock and for the top layer once from black glitter cardstock. Then I stacked them and before attaching them to the card I added some orange and pink splashes of color to the background. I cut those from white cadstock using dies from the Art Supplies die set by LawnFawn and colored them with my Copics. Behind the numbers I attached two large and one smaller color splash.

Als Motiv habe ich den Sass and Class Stempel von Belles'n Whistles mal wieder ausgepackt und mit Copics coloriert. Die Idee, die Hose schwarz zu colorieren, habe ich ein wenig bereut, aber ins Design der Karte (und zu meiner Tochter) passt es. Nach dem Colorieren habe ich das Motiv ausgeschnitten und hinter den ausgestreckten Fuß noch einen Becher mit Stiften Scheren aus dem Virtual Friends Add-On Stempelset von LawnFawn geklebt. Dann habe ich das Motiv und einige weitere kleine Texte mit 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt.

Als Texte habe ich wieder die selben Texte aus einem Hotfoil-Set von Kartenkunst verwendet. Sie sind gold auf schwarzen Cardstock foliert und dann ebenfalls mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt. Und dass ich genau die selben Texte für diese Karte gewählt habe, die auch schon auf Pias Karte zu finden sind, liegt einfach daran, dass die von der Anordnung her am besten auf die Karte passten.

For the image I brought out the Sass and Class image by Belles'n Whistles after quite some time and colored it with Copics. I kind of regreted to have chosen black as the color for the trousers, but the color fits the colors on my card (and my daughter!). I cut the colored image out and added a cup with pens and scissors from the Virtual Friends Add-On stamp set by LawnFawn behind the foot. Then I adhered the image and a few more small color spashes to the card using foam tape. 

I went with the same texts by Kartenkunst here. I hotfoild them gold onto black cardstock and adhered them using foam tape again. And that I went with the exact same texts, that I also used on Pia's card, is simply because those fit the card best in length.

Abschließend habe ich noch einige schwarze Glitzersteine auf der Karte verteilt. 

Und dann stand ich auch hier vor der Frage - schwarze Mattung oder nicht? Ich habe mich auch hier dagegen entschieden, einfach, weil mir die Karte so besser gefällt. 

As a last step I added a few black rhinestones to the card.

And then I was again debating with myself, if I wanted a black mat or not - and again I decided against it because I liked the card withouth it better.

Tochter-Geburtstagskarte #1

Es war mal wieder soweit - unsere Zwillinge hatten Geburtstag. Bisher habe ich ja immer zwei sehr ähnliche Karten in unterschiedlichen Farben gemacht. Dieses Jahr habe ich mich entschlossen, die Karten jeweils individueller auf die beiden anzupassen. Und somit zeige ich Euch heute Karte Nr. 1, für die Tochter im Bio-Master-Studiengang, Schwerpunkt Pflanzen, mit denen auch ihre Bachelor-Arbeit zu tun hatte.

It's that time again - our twins celebrated their birthday. Until last year I always made two nearly identical cards in different colors. This year I've decided to make the card fit more their individual interests and lives. And so I am sharing card #1 today, made for the daughter in a biology master class at university now, main emphasis on plants, which she also did her bachelor paper about.

Für den Hintergrund habe ich den Fern Background von WhimsyStamps mit grauer Tinte auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt. Dann habe ich die einzelnen Farne mit Copics coloriert und Highlights mit einem weißen Gelstift gesetzt. Hat seine Zeit gedauert, aber das Ergebnis gefällt mir wirklich gut!

For the background I stamped the Fern Background by WhimsyStamps with grey ink onto a piece of white cardstock, then colored the ferns in with Copics and added highlights with a white gel pen. It took some time to finish, but I really love the result!

Für die Deko habe ich dann zweimal die 2 mit dem Stanzenset Outline Numbers von MFT gestanzt - jeweils dreimal aus weißem Cardstock und für die oberste Lage aus weißem Glitter-Cardstock. 

Da Pia gerne helle, gedeckte Farben mag, habe ich dann mit dem Vintage Flowers Stempelset von Altenew Blumen in einer Beige- und einer Pink-Kombi gestempelt, ausgeschnitten und auf und unter den Zahlen angeordnet aufgeklebt. Außerdem habe ich mit Stanzen von Magnolia vier kleine Schmetterlinge aus weißem Cardstock ausgestanzt, mit Copics coloriert und ebenfalls aufgeklebt.

Für den Text habe ich eine Hotfoil Plate von Kartenkunst und rose-goldene Folie verwendet, die Texte auf schwarzen Cardstock foliert und anschließend mit 3D Tape unterhalb der Zahlen auf dem Hintergrund angebracht.

For the decorations I die cut two of the 2 using the Outline Numbers die set by MFT - I cut them each three times from white cardstock and for the top layer once from white glitter cardstock.

Since Pia loves light, soft colors, I stamped flowers from the Vintage Flowers stamp set by Altenew using a beige and a pink color combo. Then I cut those out and arranged them under and on top of the numbers. I also die cut four little butterflies from white cardstock using dies by Magnolia, colored them with Copics and attached them to the background.

For the text I used a hotfoil plate by Kartenkunst and rose gold foil. The texts mean "hip hip hoorays" and "heartfelt congratulations". I foiled them onto black cardstock and then adhered them to the background, just under the numbers.

Zum Schluss habe ich eine rose-goldene Steinchen als Deko auf der Karte verteilt und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. Zuerst hatte ich vor, den dekorierten Cardstock schwarz zu matten - auch, um das schwarz der Textstreifen nochmal aufzugreifen. Aber das war mir irgendwie zu dunkel und zu viel, also habe ich die Mattung wieder entfernt und nun diesen etwas breiteren weißen Rahmen auf der Karte, was mir super gefällt, denn die Karte wirkt wunderbar fröhlich, zart und hell.

To finish the card, I added a few rose gold rhinestones and then attached everything to a white note card. I had planned to add a black mat - also to pick up the black of the text strips again. But that seemed too dark and too much, so I removed the mat. Now I have that a bit wider white frame around the decorated cardstock, and I really like it, because it makes the card wonderfully happy, soft and light.
