Heute startet die März-Challenge bei Stampcorner - diesmal mit dem Thema "Tierisches".

Today the march challenge over at Stampcorner starts. This time we picked "animals" as our theme.
Da bot es sich natürlich an, das tolle Koala-Stempelset zu verwenden. Das Set an sich ist wirklich süß, das besonders tolle daran ist aber, dass pro verkauftem Set 4 Euro an Pro Wildlife gespendet werden, eine Organisation, die sich um die bei den Buschfeuern in Australien verletzten Tiere kümmert. Stempeln und dabei Gutes tun, wenn das nicht eine grandiose Kombi ist.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück Yupo passend zugeschnitten, dann Blending Solution darauf verteilt und darauf dann Alcohol Ink Limeade und Pool von Ranger verteilt. Damit die Farben schön ineinander und gleichzeitig nicht bis zum Rand laufen, habe ich sie mit einem Strohhalm in die richtige Richtung gepustet.
Nach dem Trocknen habe ich das Yupo mit schwarzem Cardstock gemattet und dann auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
This theme was the perfect occasion to bring out the fairly new Koala stamp set. The set itself is cute, but the most amazing thing about it is that for each set sold 4 Euros get donated to Pro Wildlife, an organisation that takes care of the animals that got hurt during the bush fires in Australia. Stamping and doing a good deed - isn't that an amazing combination?!
For the background I've cut a piece of Yupo to the right size, then covered it with Blending Solution and added Alcohol Ink Limeade and Pool by Ranger. To mix the colors a bit and also avoid it running to the edges I've simply blown them with a paper straw into the right directions.
After letting it dry I've matted the Yupo with some black cardstock and glued it ont a white note card.
Die süßen Koalas auf meiner Karte sind gut versorgt. Im Hintergrund habe ich den Baum aus dem Panda Pals Stempelset von MFT dreimal ein wenig in der Höhe versetzt aufgeklebt.Die Pandas habe ich ganz grausam einfach weggeschnitten, die Stellen, an denen ihre Hände zu sehen sind, sind unter den Motiven und Buchstaben versteckt. Coloriert habe ich sie mit Copics. Davor habe ich ein Danke, gestanzt aus hell türkisfarbenem Cardstock mit den Impact Alphabet Stanzen von MFT, aufgeklebt. Die Buchstaben habe ich per Hand schwarz gemattet und außerdem weiße Highlights mit einem Gelmarker gesetzt.
Vor das Wort, ans untere Ende der Buchstaben, habe ich ein paar Grasflecken aufgeklebt.
Das "wir sagen" ist aus dem Wir Gratulieren Stempelset von Stampcorner. So wirkt es, als würden die Koalas Danke sagen - und ich bin sicher, sie tun es, auf ihre Art.
Those Koalas on my card are taken good care of. In the background I've glued the tree from the Panda Pals stamp set by MFT three times, changing height slightly. I've cruely cut off the pandas clinging to the trees, their hands are hidden under the images and letters. They are colored with Copics. In front of them I've added a die cut "thank you", cut from light turquoise cardstock with the Impact Alphabet dies by MFT. I've matted the letters with black cardstock cut by hand and also added some highlights with a white gelmarker.
In front of the words, at the letter's bottoms, I've added a few spots of grass.
The little flag says "we're saying". So it looks like the koalas are thanking us - and I'm sure they do, in their own way.
Und hier könnt Ihr drei der Koalas noch näher sehen - im Set sind aber noch mehr enthalten. Ich habe sie ebenfalls mit Copics coloriert.
