Oh mein Gott - ich bin immer noch sprachlos. Als ich meine Karte für die aktuelle LawnFawnatics Challenge gemacht habe, hatte ich Spaß und mir gefiel das Ergebnis. Aber mit den Reaktionen, die ich auf die Karte erhalten habe, habe ich nie gerechnet. Ich bin einfach überwältigt - und sage ganz lieben Dank für all die lieben Worte!

OMG - I am still speechless. When I made my card for the current LawnFawnatics challenge I just had fun and I liked the outcome. But I never expected the reactions I got on this card. I am just overwhelmed and all I can say is huge big fat thanks for all your lovely words!
Das hier ist die Karte, von der ich spreche:

Ich habe darauf so viele Anfragen dazu, wie ich die "leuchtende" Schrift am Himmel gemacht habe, erhalten - und viele Anfragen nach einem Tutorial. Also habe ich ganz spontan, ohne lang zu überlegen oder mich vorher schlau zu machen, ein Video dazu gedreht.
Das Video ist längst nicht perfekt - und für alle deutschen Freunde, es ist in englisch. Da ich nicht die komplette Karte nachmachen wollte, habe ich den Tag, den Ihr oben seht, in dem Video gemacht und Ihr könnt mir von Anfang bis Ende über die Schulter schauen.
Ich hatte keine Ahnung von Videos bearbeiten und der ganzen Technik und bin vielleicht etwas blind an die Sache herangegangen. Aber am Ende hat - fast - alles geklappt. Mein Voice Over ist ein wenig holprig, denn ich war so darauf konzentriert, WAS ich sage, dass das WIE manchmal ein wenig untergegangen ist. Und ich war dabei ein wenig nervös, so dass ich ein bisschen wie ein Kind klinge, das das erste Mal vor der Klasse sprechen soll. Außerdem fehlt der Ton der letzten Minuten meines Videos - der ist irgendwie beim Hochladen auf YT verloren gegangen. Und klar hatte ich mir einen groben Text-Plan zurecht gelegt, aber all die "schlauen" Sachen die ich sagen wollte, fielen mir natürlich erst wieder hinterher ein. Also geht bitte nicht zu hart mit mir ins Gericht. Falls Ihr das Video anschauen möchtet, könnt Ihr das hier tun - vielleicht könnt Ihr etwas davon mitnehmen:
I got so many questions about how I made the sparkling text in the sky - and so many of you asked for a tutorial. Well, without thinking I just started filming a video, without knowing anything about all the technical stuff that's required.
The video is way from being perfect - and it's in english. Since I didn't want to re-create the whole card, I used the same technique and colors to create the tag that you can see at the top of this post. You can watch me doing it from start to finish.
I had no idea how to edit a video and just jumped into it head first. But in the end - nearly - everything worked out. My voice over is improvable a lot. I was so fixed on WHAT I said that I didn't think about the HOW several times. And I was a bit nervous so I sound like a child that has to speek in front of class for the very first time. Also, the sound of the last minute or so is missing - it somehow got lost when uploading the video to YT. Sure, I had a rough plan about what I wanted to say, but I forgot most of it while doing the voice over - and only remembered all those clever things after I was done. So don't judge me too hard. Oh, und ich weiß nicht, woher die Fliege auf einmal kam - die war den ganzen Tag nicht da, hat dann aber offenbar beschlossen, einen letzten großen Auftritt hinzulegen, durch das Video zu fliegen um dann tot auf den Tisch zu fallen. Ich finds lustig.
Am Ende des Videos, wo der Ton fehlt, trage ich nur noch ein wenig BG10 auf die hellsten Stellen meines Fuches auf und tupfe ein ganz klein bisschen Stickles darüber.

Oh, I have no idea where that fly came from, I swear it hadn't been there before I started filming. But it seems like it decided to have one last show, fly through the video only to fall dead onto my table afterwards. I really think that's funny.
In the end, where the sound is missing, all I do is adding a bit of BG10 to the lightest areas of my fox and then add a hint of Stickles there.
