Heute habe ich das letzte Sneak auf eines der neuen Motive aus dem März-Release von Stampcorner für Euch - denn morgen ist schon Release Day! Manchmal ist es auch ganz gut, wenn ein Monat kürzer ist, so muss man weniger lang auf neue Stempel warten.... ;)

Today I have one last sneak onto one of the new images from Stampcorner's march release for you - because it's already release day tomorrow! Sometimes it isn't too bad when a month is shorter than the others, that means we don't have to wait that long for new stamps.... ;)
Auf meiner Karte heute zeige ich Euch den süßen Ernst mit Geburtstagstorte! Und weil mir mal nach was ganz anderem war, habe ich eine Karte im Comic-Stil gemacht. Klassisch in den Grundfarben rot, blau und gelb und auch sonst habe ich einige typische Comic-Elemente eingebaut.
Für den Rahmen habe ich den Comic Cover Wonky von MamaElephant aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt. Der hat eigentlich mehr Fenster, um meine Elemente aber alle gut unterzubringen, habe ich zwei der horizontalen Trennungen herausgeschnitten.
Passend hinter die einzelnene Fenster habe ich dann roten, blauen und gelben Cardstock zugeschnitten und jeweils mit Tinte, die etwas dunkler als der Farbton des Cardstocks ist, Punkte darauf gestempelt.
On today's card I am sharing the cute Ernst with his birthday cake. And since I felt like doing something different, I made a comic style card. I used the traditional colors red, blue and yellow and included a few other elements typical for comics.
For the frame I die cut the Comic Cover Wonky by MamaElephant from black cardstock. Originally it has more of those windows, but to make all my elements fit nicely I cut off two of the horizontal strips between them.
Matching the individual windows I cut red, blue and yellow cardstock and then stamped little dots onto it, using ink slightly darker than the cardstock colors.

Im Fenster oben links habe ich die Bombe aus dem Stempelset You're Old von WhimsyStamps aufgeklebt. Dann habe ich mit Stempeln aus dem Mini Alphabet Stempelset einen Countdown weiß auf blauen Cardstock embosst und den Streifen mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt.
Im Fenster darunter befindet sich ein großes Bäm, gestanzt mit der Bäm Stanze von Stampcorner aus schwarzem und rotem Cardstock und leicht versetzt aufeinander geklebt. Dahinter habe ich eine "Comic-Unterlage" - haben die Dinger Namen? -, ebenfalls aus schwarzem und weißem Cardstock gestanzt geklebt. Und nachdem die Bombe mit einem Bäm geplatzt ist, erfährt man auch, worum es geht: Geburtstag! Das Wort aus dem Set Kleine Worte habe ich wieder weiß auf blauen Cardstock embosst und mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt.

Into the window on the top left I glued the bomb from the You're Old stamp set by WhimsyStamps. Then I used stamps from the Mini Alphabet stamp set to white heat emboss a countdown onto a strip of blue cardstock and attached it with thin foam tape.
In the window undeneath there's a big BAM, die cut from red and black cardstock and stacked a bit off. Behind it I put a "comic cloud" - do those things have names? -, also cut from black and white cardstock. And after the bomb has gone off with a loud bam you're about to find out what the card is all about: a birthday! I white heat embossed the word birthday onto another strip of blue cardstock and used thin foam tape again, to attach it under the die cut bam.
Der süße Ernst hat nur Augen für die Geburtstagstorte und hält schon mal eine Gabel bereit, um sie endlich probieren zu können. Ernst und Ballons dahinter, die ich mit Hilfe von etwas Masking aufgestempelt habe, sind mit Copics coloriert. Dann habe ich das Motiv ausgeschnitten und mit dickem 3D Tape ins Fenster geklebt.
The cute Ernst has only eyes for the birthday cake and already has a fork at hand to finally taste it. Ernst and the balloons, that I stamped masking off Ernst's head, are colored with Copics. Then I cut the images out and adhered them with thick foam tape to the center window.
In das kleine Fenster oben rechts habe ich einen Text, der im gleichen Stempelset wie der Geburtstags-Ernst enthalten ist, schwarz abgestempelt und mit einem Fineliner die Strahlen dazugemalt.
Im Fenster darunter sind dann noch einige Geburtstagskerzen - die dürfen natürlich nicht fehlen! Ich habe sie mit der Birthday Candle Stanze von MFT aus blauem Cardstock gestanzt, die schrägen Linien weiß aufembosst und die Flammen ein wenig schattiert. Dann habe ich sie ins das Fenster geklebt.
Und weil dieses doch recht hohe Fenster noch ein wenig leer aussah, habe ich hier noch Geburtstagsglückwünsche untergebracht. Die sind mit Stempeln aus dem Stempelset Kleine Worte und schwarzer Tinte auf gelben Cardstock gestempelt, dann habe ich zum Aufkleben der Cardstockstreifen wieder dünnes 3D Tape benutzt.
Into the small window on the top right I stamped a text with black ink and added the rays with a black fineliner.
Inside the window underneath I glued some birthday candles - those are essential on birthdays! I die cut them from blue cardstock using the Birthday Candle die by MFT, white heat embossed the white lines onto them and shaded the flames a bit with Copics. Then I adhered them onto the red cardstock in the background.
And since the quite large window still looked a bit plain I added some birthday greetings to it. I stamped them with black ink onto yellow cardsdtock and then used thin foam tape again to attach them onto the candles.
