Heute geht es beim Stempeleinmaleins weiter wie gewohnt - mit dem obligatorischen Sketch am letzten Samstag des Monats. Und das ist meine Karte danach.
Hello everyone!
Today Stempeleinnmaleins is continueing as you are used to - with the obligatory sketch on the last saturday of the month. And this is the card I made following it.
Basis ist hier ein weißer Kartenrohling. Auf die sonst übliche Mattung meines Hintergrunds habe ich hier verzichtet, so dass ein breiterer weißer Rand sichtbar bleibt.
I used a white note card as the base of my card and skipped the mat I usually do behind my background to keep a wider white margin behind it.
Für den Hintergrund meiner Karte habe ich ein Stück zartblauen Cardstocks zugeschnitten und dann mit Distress Oxides Tumbled Glass, Broken China und Uncharted Mariner in einem Farbverlauf von hell oben nach dunkel unten gewischt.
Mit einer Luftballonstanze von Magnolia habe ich viele Luftballons aus Vellum gestanzt und in Reihen auf den Cardstock geklebt. Um keine sichtbaren Kleberstellen hinter dem Vellum zu haben, habe ich die Stanzteile durch meine Xyron gedreht und flächig aufgeklebt.
Anschließend habe ich noch silberfarbene Metallic Watercolor über den Cardstock gespritzt.
Auch den ersten Teil meines Textes habe ich hier aufgeklebt. Ich habe Texte aus den Stempelsets Itty Bitty Birthday und Bitty Birthday Wishes, beide von MFT, weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst, ausgeschnitten und mit 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Drumherum habe ich einige silberfarbene Pailetten verteilt.
For the background I cut a piece of very light blue cardstock and inked it in a gradiant from light blue at the top to dark on the bottom using Distress Oxides Tumbled Glass, Broken China and Uncharted Mariner.
With a balloon die by Magnolia I cut several balloons from Vellum and adhered it in rows to my background. To avoid any visible glue I ran the die cuts through my Xyron and was able to attach them completly and ivisible.
Next I spritzed some silver metallic watercolor over the cardstock and balloons.
I also attached part of my text here. I white heat embossed texts from the Itty Bitty Birthday and Bitty Birthday Wishes stamp sets, both by MFT, onto black cardstock and used foam tape to glue them onto the background. Around the text strips I added a few silver sequins.
Mit dem Impact Alphabet Stanzenset von MFT habe ich die Buchstaben für das Wort Birthday aus schwarzem Cardstock sowie aqua-weiß gestreiftem Designpapier aus dem Let it Shine Paper Pad von LawnFawn gestanzt. Die gestreiften Buchstaben habe ich ein wenig versetzt mit den schwarzen hinterlegt und mit einem klaren Glitzer-Gelstift Highlights aufgemalt. Weiß hätte man nicht gut genug gesehen. Mit dem selben Stift habe ich auch den Luftballons ein paar Lichtreflektionen gegeben.
Die Buchstaben habe ich dann in einer Reihe am Rand des Hintergrunds, leicht überstehend, aufgeklebt. Dafür habe ich wieder 3D Tape benutzt.
With the Impact Alphabet die set by MFT I die cut the letters for the word birthday from black cardstock and from some aqua and white striped patterned paper from the Let it Shine paper pad by LawnFawn. Ich glued the striped letters a bit off onto the black ones and added some highlights with a clear glitter gelpen. White highlights wouldn't have been clearly visible. I used the same gelpen to also add some reflections to the balloons.
I arranged the letters along the right edge of my background, letting them overlap the edge a bit, and attached them using foam tape again.
Um meine Karte fertig zu stellen, habe ich auf die Buchstaben A und Y des Worts birthday noch ein ebenfalls weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosstes "for you" aufgeklebt und anschließend alles mit 3D Tape auf dem Kartenrohling befestigt.
To finish my card I put a little strip of black cardstock with a white heat embossed "for you" on it to the letters A and Y of the word birthday, then attached everthing to my cardbase with foam tape.
