Heute zeige ich Euch die Karte, die ich für die LawnFawnatics Challenge #171 gemacht habe. Es gibt eine Bingo-Chart und ich war erstmal erschlagen davon, dass sie jeweils 5 Reihen horizontal und vertikal hat. Da fiel die Wahl so schwer. Hier ist sie:

Today I am sharing with you the card I made for the LawnFawnatics challenge #171. They have a Bingo chart for us this time and I was kind of overwhelmed because there are 5 rows both vertically and horizontally. So much to choose from. Here is the chart:
Ich war ja kurzzeitig versucht, eine Kart zu probieren, auf der alle Parameter vorkommen. Aber das war dann doch zu viel. Und so habe ich mich dann für die O-Spalte, also interaktiv, 3D Pads, happy, Mäuse und Glitzer entschieden. Hier ist nochmal die Karte:
I was really tempted to make a chard including each of the parameters. But that seemed a bit too much. And so I went with the O column, so it's interactive, foam squares, happy, mice and glitter. Here's my card again:
Das Wetter die letzte Woche hat mich schier verrückt gemacht - typisch April eben. Aber das hat mich wohl beim Thema meiner Karte beeinflusst. Und so machen die kleinen Mäuse eben das beste aus dem nächsten Regenschauer und spielen in einer Pfütze.
Ich habe hier den Rraindrop Backdrop aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt. Da ich nur die Landscape Version habe, habe ich per Partial Diecutting die Regentropfen zweimal untereinander gestanzt - zum Glück widerholt sich das Muster, so dass das kein Problem war - und den Cardstock dann in Portrait-Form zugeschnitten. Dann habe ich ihn mit Distress Oxide Stormy Sky und Faded Jeans gewischt.
Von hinten habe ich ein Stück aqua-farbenen Cardstock geklebt und die Regentropfen dann mit Glossy Accents gefüllt. So glänzen sie schön.
Auf den Hintergrund habe ich dann erst einen Zaun, davor Gras und dann eine Straße geklebt. Der Zaun ist mit der Picket Fence Border aus weißem, das Gras aus grünem Cardstock gestanzt. Dann habe ich beides mit Copics schattiert und direkt auf den Himmel geklebt. Die Straße davor besteht aus einem Stück schwarzen Cardstocks, aus dem ich einen Mittelstreifen gestanzt und weiß hinterlegt habe. Für etwas Struktur habe ich schwarze Metallic Watercolor aufgespritzt.
The weather the last week drove my crazy - typical april weather. But I seems like it also influenced me when picking the theme for my card. So this little mice make the best of the next rain shower and play in the puddles.
I die cut the Raindrop Backdrop from white cardstock here. Since I only own the landscape version I did some partial diecutting to die cut the pattern twice under each other - luckily the pattern repeats so that was quite easy - and then cut the cardstock to a portrait format. I inked it with Distress Oxide Stormy Sky and Faded Jeans and glued a piece of aqua colored cardstock behind it. Then I filled the raindrops with Glossy Accents to make them siny.
Onto the background I adhered a fence, some grass and a sidewalk/road. I die cut the fence from white cardtock using the Picket Fence Border, the grass from green cardstock and shaded both with Copics. The road is made from a piece of black cardstock that I cut some middle lines into and put white carstock behind it. To add some structure to it I added splatters of black metallic watercolor.
Auf den oberen Teil des Himmels habe ich Wolken geklebt. Die sind mit mit dem Spring Showers Stanzenset aus hell- und mittelgrauem Cardstock gemacht. Die dunkleren Wolken habe ich direkt auf den Hintergrund geklebt, die helleren auf den Rahmen, den ich später um die Szene geklebt habe. Den habe ich mit mit einer der Stitched Rectangle Frames Stanzen aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und ebenfalls mit Stormy Sky und Faded Jeans gewischt.
Onto the upper half of my card I added some clouds. I die cut those with the Spring Showers die set from light and middle grey cardstock. The darker ones I attached directly to the sky, the lighter ones to the frame, that I put around my scene later. I die cut that from white cardstock using one of the Stitched Rectangle Frames and inked it with Stormy Sky and Faded Jeans again.
Und im unteren Teil meiner Karte ist dann richtig was los. Aus weißem Cardstock habe ich den Stitched Umbrella gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert. Ich habe einen zweiten Regenschirm - also zumindest den eigentlich oberen Teil - gestanzt, hellgrau coloriert und etwas nach oben versetzt hinter den ersten geklebt, so dass ein dreidimensionaler Look entsteht.
Im Regenschirm tummeln sich jede Menge Mäuse, die ich aus allen möglichen Sets "zusammengesammelt" habe. Es war auf jeden Fall das Bubbles of Joy, das Super Star, das Simply Celebrate Critters, das Veggie Happy, das Sew Very Mice und das Really High Five Set involviert - für Vollständigkeit übernehme ich aber keine Haftung. Zwei der Mäuse halten einen kleinen Regenschirm bzw. ein Windrad aus dem Elephant Parade Add-On Set in der Hand, die beiden stehenden Mäuse außen tragen Gummistiefel. Die haben sie sich von einem der Bären aus dem Beary Rainy Day Stempelset geliehen. Aus dem sind auch die Wassertropfen.
Die große Pfütze habe ich mit dem See aus dem Swan Soiree Set gemacht. Sie ist mit Distress Ink Salvaged Patina gestempelt und zwar so, dass die Farbe außen ein klein wenig dunkler ist. Dann habe ich auch ihn - genauso wie die Regentropfen - erst mit Glossy Accents überzogen und später noch ein wenig Stickles aufgetragen.
Quer über/auf den Regenschirm habe ich dann meinen Text geklebt. Der obere ist aus dem Set Beary Rainy Day, der untere aus dem Set Rain or Shine Before 'n Afters. Ich habe sie mit Lobster Ink von LawnFawn auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt und schwarz gemattet. Hier findet sich natürlich das im Bingo geforderte happy.
Oben auf dem Griff am Regenschirm sitzt noch ein kleiner Frosch aus dem Beary Rainy Day Set. Den brauchte ich für meinen interaktiven Teil.
In the lower part of my card there's a lot going on. From white cardstock I die cut the Stitched Umbrella and colored it with Copics. I die cut a second umbrella - at least the normally upper part - again, colored it a light grey and glued it behind the red one, moving it a bit up, to create a more dimensional look.
In the umbrella a lot of mice are having fun, that I picked from a lot of different sets. There were the sets Bubbles of Joy, Super Star, Simply Celebrate Critters, Veggie Happy, Swe Very Mice and Really High Five involved but I might have forgotten to mention a set here.... Two of the mice are holding a small umbrella/a pinwheel from the Elephant Parade Add-On set in their little hands, the two mice standing in the puddle are wearing rubber boots. Those they borrowed from one of the bears from the Beary Rainy Day set. From this set I also used the water splashes/drops.
The big puddle I made using the lake from the Swan Soiree set. I stamped it with Distress Ink Salvaged Patina, making the ink a bit darker around the edges. Then I covered it - and the water drops - with Glossy Accents, just like I did with the raindrops in the background, and later on added some Stickles.
Across/onto the umbrella I put my text. The larger one is from the Beary Rainy Day set, the smaller one from the Rain or Shine Before 'n Afters set. I stamped both with Lobster ink by LawnFawn onto white cardstock and matted them black. And here you can finde the happy, requested by the Bingo chart.
On top of the handle a little frog has found a spot to sit on. He's from the Beary Rainy Day set and I needed it for my interactive element.
Natürlich sitzen die Mäuse nicht einfach nur in dem Schirm - sie schaukeln auch ordentlich hin und her, denn auf einer Regenschirm-Spitze zu balancieren kann eine ganz schön wackelige Angelegenheit sein! Wahrscheinlich klammert sich deswegen die kleine Maus auch so fest am Stiel fest...
Der Mechanismus ist recht einfach - ich habe in die Straße ein Loch gestanzt und runde Foam Pads, auf der Rückseite auf einem Kreis befestigt, hindurchgesteckt. auf denen ist der Regenschirm befestigt. Die Straße habe ich dann mit dünnerem 3D Tape befestigt.
Auch hinter dem Frosch befindet sich etwas 3D Tape, dessen andere Seite ich mit Cardstock beklebt habe, so dass es nicht mehr klebrig ist. Und auch hinter den Regenschirm-Stiel habe ich ein kleines Stückchen davon gesetzt, damit der nicht durchhängt.
Die graue Wolke links ist ebenfalls mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt, das Tape hinter dem Frosch sorgt dafür, dass der Schirm sich nicht weiter drehen kann. Auf der anderen Seite sorgt das Ohr der Maus ganz rechts, das am Tape hinter dem Rahmen ansteht, dafür, dass der Schirm stoppt.
Of course the mice are not just sitting around in the umbrella - they are also swinging left and right, balancing on the tip of an umbrella can be a very shaky thing to do! Guess that's why the little mouse in the center is clinging so hardly to the handle...
The mechanism is a pretty simple one. I cut a small circle from the road and put round foam pads, backed with a slightly larger circle, through it. Onto those I adhered the umbrella. To adhere the road I used thin foam tape.
I put some more foam tape behind the frog, covered the other side with cardstock to make it non-sticky. And also behind the metal bar/handle I put some of that tape to keep it from sagging.
The grey cloud on the left I adhered with thin foam tape, the tape behind the frog is making sure that the umbrella isn't tipping more to the side. On the other side the ear of the mouse on the very right is taking over that job - it touches the tape I used to adhere the frame.
Wie schon erwähnt, habe ich auch den Rahmen mit 3D Tape aufgeklebt und auch hinter den beiden stehenden Mäusen befinden sich Foam Pads.
Ich habe weitere Stickles auf die Wolken, die Wasserspritzer und die Regentropfen aufgetragen und dann alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt.
As I mentioned already did I use foam tape to adhere the frame and I also put some foam pads behind the standing mice.
I added some more Stickles to the clouds, the water splashes and the raindrops and then glued my card panel to a white note card.
