Heute habe ich ein weiteres Sneak auf das Mai-Release von Stampcorner für Euch. Diesmal zeige ich Euch diese süße Maus in der Teetasse.

Today I have another sneak of the may release by Stampcorner for you. And this time I am presenting you this cute little mouse in a tea cup.
Bei dem Motiv war natürlich klar, dass auch der Rest der Karte irgendwie mit Tee zu tun haben soll. Und so ist diese eher in sanften Tönen gehaltene Szene vom nachmittäglichen Kaffee- äh Teetisch entstanden.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich den Quilted Backdrop von LawnFawn aus hellgrauem Cardstock gestanzt. Der erinnert mich ein wenig an eine Tischdecke. Da ich die Teekanne hauptsächlich weiß halten wollte, wäre weiß auch für den Hintergrund zu viel gewesen. Hinterlegt habe ich den grauen Cardstock dann mit ganz hell-lila farbenem Cardstock, den man durch das Muster im Cardstock sehen kann.
Mit einer Rautenstanze habe ich etwas mehr als die Hälfte einer Raute aus blau-lila und weiß kariertem Designpapier gestanzt. Längs aufgeklebt sieht es ein wenig aus wie eine herabängende Tischdecke. Und die gehört zu so einer Teestunde natürlich dazu.
With this image it was clear that also the rest of the card has to be some kind of tea related. And so I created this szene from grandma's coffee - äh tea time using quite soft colors.
For the background I die cut the Quilted Backdrop by LawnFawn from light grey cardstock. It reminds me of a table cloth. Since I wanted to use mainly white for my tea pot, white for the background would have been too much. I put some light purple cardstock behind the grey background, that now shows through the pattern.
Using a diamond die I die cut a bit more than half of a diamond from blue-ish purple and white checked patterned paper. Glued down horizontally it kind of looks like a table cloth hanging over the edge of a table. And of course you need one of these for your table at tea time.
Die Teekanne habe ich mit der Stitched Teapot Stanze von LawnFawn gemacht - aus dem Set sind auch die anderen Accessoires wie z. B. die Blumen.
Ich habe die Teekanne aus weißem Cardsdtock gestanzt und einige Teile wie den Henkel, den Deckel und auch den unteren Rand nochmal aus lilafarbenem Cardstock. Den habe ich auch verwendet, um die Papier-Enden der beiden Teebeutel, die aus der Kanne hängen, zu stanzen. Alle Teile habe ich mit Copics etwas schattiert. Die Blumenmitten und die Schnur an den Teebeuteln habe ich aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt.
Vor der Teekanne steht die Teetasse mit dem kleinen Hasen. Ich trinke - außer Früchtetee - jeden Tee mit Milch, deswegen ist mein Tee in der Tasse hellbraun ausgefallen. Die Tasse habe ich mit passend zur Teekanne in lila und weiß coloriert, den Hasen dann in hellen warmen Grautönen.
I used the Stitched Teapot die set by LawnFawn to create the teapot - from this set come also all the accessoires like the flowers.
I die cut the teapot from white cardstock and additionally die cut some parts like the handle, the lid and the lower brim from purple cardstock. I used the same shade of cardstock to die cut the paper ends of the teabags hanging out of the teapot. I shaded all pieces with Copics. The flower centers and the strings of the teabags I die cut from black cardstock.
In front of the teapot there's the teacup with the little bunny. Since I drink every tea - except of fruit teas - with milk the tea inside the cup here looks a light brown. The teacup I colored so it goes with the teapot, using purple and white. For the bunny I've chosen light warm greys.

Der Text auf der Karte ist aus dem Tea-Rriffic Set von LawnFawn. Ich habe ihn weiß auf lilafarbenen Cardstock - ich habe hier einen dunkleren Ton gewählt - embosst. Aus dem selben Cardstock habe ich dann noch die Buchstaben für das Wort TEA gestanzt. Ich mag so kleine Wortspiele ja wahnsinnig gerne. Für die Buchstaben habe ich das Finley's ABCs Stanzenset von LawnFawn benutzt und jeden Buchstaben dreimal gestanzt.
Und weil die Karte oben links etwas zu nackig war, habe ich hier noch ein "du fehlst mir" aus dem Set Kleine Worte von Stampcorner untergebracht. Auch das ist weiß auf lilafarbenen Cardstock embosst. Dass hier ein Mix aus deutsch und englisch auf der Karte ist, stört mich gar nicht.
The text on this card is from the Tea-Rriffic stamp set by LawnFawn. I white heat embossed it onto purple cardstock, using a darker shade of purple here. From the same cardstock I also die cut the letters for the word tea. I love little puns on my cards. To die cut the letters I used the Finley's ABCs die set by LawnFawn and die cut each letter three times.
And since the card was a bit naked in the top left I added a "I'm missing you" text here. Again I white heat embossed it onto purple cardstock. And it doesn't bother me at all that there's a mix of german and english texts on this card.
Zum Aufkleben des Motives sowie der Textstreifen habe ich dünnes 3D Tape verwendet.
Als Deko habe ich dann noch einige Blümen auf der Karte verteilt und außerdem Teetasse und -kanne ein wenig mit Stickles beglittert.
Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.
I used thin foam tape to adhere the image and the text strips.
I added a few flowers as decoration and also put a bit of Stickles onto the teacup and teapot.
Then I glued my card panel onto a white note card.
