Whiff Of Joy # 93

Schönen Mittwoch - ich hoffe Ihr hattet alle etwas schönes im ersten Türchen Eures Adventskalenders!
Ich habe wie immer eine Karte für Euch - denn es gibt eine neue Challenge bei Whiff Of Joy: untraditional Christmas. Ihr könnt hier unübliche Farben, ein nicht-weihnachtliches Motiv.... verwenden.

Happy wednesday! I hope everyone of you had something wonderful behind the first door of your advent´s calendar!
I have a card for you - as usual - because we have a new challenge over at Whiff Of Joy: untraditional christmas. You can go with unusual colors, an not-christmassy image...

Ich habe mich für eine Farbkombi von türkis, mint und braun entschieden - die ist nämlich Vorgabe bei Paperminutes. Und sie ist wunderschön für eine winterliche Karte und trotzdem untraditionell für Weihnachten...
Das Motiv ist ein ziemlich altes von Whiff Of Joy - und ich weiß nichtmal den Namen - aber definitiv eines meiner "all time favourites"!

I went with a color combo of turquoise, mint and brown - because it is given by Paperminutes. And it´s a wonderful one for a wintery card but still untraditional for christmas.
The image is an quite old one by Whiff Of Joy - I even don´t know the name - but definately one of my all-time favourites!

Hallo und wunderschönen Mittwoch! Auch die heutige Karte ist mal wieder sehr vintage geworden... Ich hoffe, ich nerve damit nicht! ;O) Ich habe den aktuellen Sketch von Mojo Monday verwendet:

Bei Stampavie and more lautet das neue Thema "Herzen" - ich hoffe, auch ein Herz zählt. Ich habe zwar neben das Wort "friends" noch ein kleines in Blush Blossom - einem sehr hellen rosa - gestempelt, aber das ist leider kaum erkennbar.

At Stampavie and more the new theme is "hearts" - I hope even one heart counts. There is another one stamped next to the word "friends" using Blush Blossom but it turned out that light that it nearly can´t be seen.

Simon ist diesmal der Ansicht "you gotta have friends" und hat darum das Thema Freunde für die neue Challenge gewählt.

Simon means "you gotta have friends" and picked friendship as the new theme.

Und die Farbkombi kommt von Color Throwdown: chocolat chip (dunkelbraun), blush blossom (besagtes helles rosa/apricot) und mellow moss (ein grau-blau-grün).

Ich habe mal wieder eines der süßen Sarah Kay Motive von Stampavie verwendet. Die Papiere sind von My Mind´s Eye und K&Company. Die große Blüte habe ich mit dem Copic Airbrush System passend zu meiner Coloration eingefärbt, ebenso die Spitze. Der Herz-Knopf links oben ist mit einer Stanze von SU gemacht.

I used one of those cute Sarah Kay images by Stampavie. Papers are by My Mind´s Eye and K&Company. I used the Copic Airbrush System to match the big flower and the lace with my coloration. The heart button on the upper left is made using a SU punch.

A Spoon Full Of Sugar # 79, Everybody Art Challenge # 67 und Magnolia Down Under # 27

"Christmas Decoration/Card" ist das Thema bei Magnolia Down Under. Da ich in letzter Zeit ziemlich viele Boxen etc. gebastelt habe, wollte ich mal wieder eine "einfache" Karte machen.
Und weil Everybody Art Challenge das selbe Thema hat, bietet es sich natürlich an, diese Challenges zu kombinieren.
Und A Spoon Full Of Sugar gibt uns diese Woche eine Farbvorgabe: braun plus wahlweise pink oder blau. Winter/Weihnachten ist für mich dann doch eher blau statt pink...
Das Motiv ist von Magonlia, die Papiere von My Mind´s Eye und Dovecraft´s Winter Wonderland. Der Text-Stempel ist von Stampin´Up und er paßte so schön zu Tilda mit dem Geschenk.

"Christmas Decoration/Card" is the new challenge´s theme over at Magnolia Down Under. Since I made a lot of boxes and other things recently I decided to go with a "simple" card.
And since Everybody Art Challenge has the same theme combinig these challenges is quite easy.
And A Spoon Full Of Sugar has a color combo for this week´s challenge: brown plus either pink or blue - it´s your choice. Winter/christmas is more blue-ish thank pink-is in my eyes...
The image is by Magnolia, papers by My Mind´s Eye and Dovecraft. The round saying is by Stampin´Up and it was the perfect one for little Tilda with her pressie.

A spoon full of sugar challenge # 57 "Weddings"

"Hochzeitskarten" sind diesmal auf A Spoon Full Of Sugar gefragt. Die ideale Gelegenheit, um einen der neuen Whiff of Joy Stempel auszuprobieren. Oder besser gesagt zwei... Ich habe mit der Maskierungstechnik gearbeitet, um die Braut auf der Schaukel zu platzieren. Die Blumenranken an der Schaukel sowie den Brautstrauß und den Kranz im Haar habe ich mit rosafarbenem FlowerSoft bestreut. Farblich bin ich ganz im Creme- und Rosa-Bereich geblieben. Dazu habe ich etwas Tüll und Spitze verwendet und das ganze noch mit ein paar Embellishments verschönert. Zu viel wollte ich aber nicht nehmen, da das meiner Meinung nach den eleganten Look zerstört.
Wer weiß, wie groß das Motiv in Wirklichkeit ist, kann sich ungefähr vorstellen, wie monströs meine Karte ausgefallen ist!LOL
Ich habe meine Karte nach einem älteren Sketch von MojoMonday gearbeitet:

"Wedding cards" is what A Spoon Full Of Sugar is asking for this week. The best chance to try one of my new Whiff Of Joy stamps. Actually I used two... I did some masking to let the bride sit on the swing. The flowers on the image were covered with some baby pink FlowerSoft. I mostly used creme and pink colors and added some tulle and lace, together with a few embellishments. But I didn´t want to add too much to not destroy the elegant touch of the card.
Who knows the real size of this image can image how huge my card is!LOL
I followed an older sketch from MojoMonday to make my card:
