Überraschungen sind ja nicht immer gut, wenn es sich aber um Geburtstagsüberraschungen dreht, dann sind sie sicher toll! So eine Überraschung gibt es auch auf meiner Karte, die ich heute auf dem Stamping-Fairies Blog zeige.

Surprises are not always of the good kind. But when it's about birthday surprises they sure are wonderful! Such a surprise can be seen on this card, that I'm sharing over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog today.

Surprises are not always of the good kind. But when it's about birthday surprises they sure are wonderful! Such a surprise can be seen on this card, that I'm sharing over at the Stamping-Fairies Blog today.
Wie man sieht, ist der Raum schon mit einer Girlande geschmückt, Konfetti regnen vom Himmel und ein großes gepunktetes Geschenk steht mitten im Raum, dekoriert mit einer großen Schleife. Daneben steht ein Hund in Partylaune. Einen Luftballon hat er auch im Gepäckt.
Ich habe hier hellblauen Cardstock für den Hintergrund verwendet, die Girlande ist ausgeschnitten und aufgeklebt, die Konfetti direkt auf den Cardstock gestempelt. Da man hier die Coloration evtl. nicht so toll sehen kann, habe ich die Konfetti einfach mit Glaze Pens von Sakura sowie einem weißen Gelmarker eingefärbt.
As you can see - the room is decorated with a garland, confetti are falling from the ceiling and a big dotted gift is standing in the middle of the room, decorated with a big bow. Next to it there's a dog in party mood, bringing a balloon with him.
I've used light blue cardstock for the background here. The garland ist cut out an glued onto the cardstock, the confetti are stamped directly on it. Since I was afraid that you wouldn't see any color on top of the blue I've simply used Glaze Pens by Sakur and a white gel marker to color these tiny images.
Alle Motive auf der Karte sind aus dem Pawty Time Stempelset von MFT. Ich habe sie teilweise ein wenig verändert. Hinter dem Geschenk schaut links eigentlich ein Hund hervor, den habe ich weggeschnitten. Außerdem habe ich dem hier zu sehenden Hund den Luftballon an die Hand gebunden, der eingentlich um den Schwanz einer kleinen Katze gebunden ist. Coloriert habe ich mit Copics.
All images on this card are from the Pawty Time stamp set by MFT. I've altered them a bit. Originally there's a doggie looking from behind the gift and I've cut that away. I've also given the dog that can be seen here a balloon that's usually tied to the tail of a little kitty. Coloring was done with Copics.
Ihr habt es ja auf dem animierten GIF am Anfang des Posts schon gesehen - die Karte ist interaktiv. Wenn im Text auf der Karte, den ich übrigens auf einen weiteren Streifen hellblauen Cardstocks gestempelt habe, schon von Überraschungen die Rede ist, sollte es die auch geben, finde ich!
Hier versteckt sich ein Slider, gemacht mit der Slider Loops Stanze von MFT, unter dem zweiten Streifen Cardstock mit dem Text. Links ist ein Tab, zieht man daran, kommt der Hund hinter dem Geschenk doch zum Vorschein. Und der bereits sichtbare Hund zaubert eine große Geburtstagstorte hinter dem Geschenk hervor. Damit die Torte nicht sichtbar war, habe ich sie näher an den Hund herangestempelt als es beim ursprünglichen Motiv der Fall war, und die Schnur per Hand passend dazugemalt.
You've already seen the animated GIF at the beginning of this post - this is another interactive card. When the saying on the card, that I've stamped onto another strip of light blue cardstock, talks about suprises then those should be there, right?
Behind that second strip of cardstock there's a slider element hidden, made with the Slider Loops die by MFT. The pull tab is on the left of the card, when you pull it, the second dog peeks from behind the present and the other dog, that was already visible, is pulling a big birthday cake from behind the gift. To make the cake invisible I had to stamp it closer to the dog as it is on the original image and then added the pull string by hand.
Na, so sieht das ganze doch nach einer richtigen Überraschung aus!
Da die Schnur am Ballon sowie die vom Torten-Wagen zum Hund doch recht dünn war und die Motive sich beim Sliden verbogen haben, habe ich dahinter ganz dünne Streifen Folie zur Stabilisierung angebracht.

Since the string of the balloon and the one from the cake waggon to the dog are really thin I've put a very thin strip of acetate behind those to stabilize the images while sliding.
