Gruß vom Meer

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Nein, ich bin leider nicht am Meer - und werde es dieses Jahr wohl auch nicht sein... :( Aber die Möwe auf meiner Karte schickt zumindest ein paar Grüße von dort.

No, I am not a the sea - and I guess that won't happen this year... :( But the seagull on my card at least sends some greetings from there.

Ich habe hier eine 3D Tunnel Card gemacht - die hat eine tolle Tiefenwirkung. Die könnt Ihr hier besser sehen. 

I've made a 3D Tunnel Card here - it has such a great depth. Here you get that effect better. 

Die Karte ist aus einem Rahmen aus weißem Cardstock gemacht und 1,5 cm dick. Er lässt sich flach zusammenklappen. 

Innen befinden sich zwei weitere Lagen aus weißem Cardstock. Aus diesen beiden Lagen und der Front habe ich 3 der Stitched Rechtecke ausgestanzt - das größte aus der Front und nach hinten kleiner werdend. 

The card is a frame made from white cardstock and 1,5 cm thick. It can bee folded flat for mailing.

On the inside there are two more layers cut from white cardstock as well. From those two layers and the front of the card I've die cut 3 rectangles - the biggest from the front and then getting smaller towards the back.

Hinter die unteren Kanten der ausgestanzten Rechtecke habe ich jeweils eine Wellenbordüre geklebt. 

Hinter der mittleren Wellenlinie ist die Möwe auf den Pfählen angeklebt. Die habe ich aus verschiedenfarbigen Cardstocks gestanzt und mit Copics etwas schattiert. Leider ist mir erst später aufgefallen, dass ich beim Aufkleben offenbar den Flügel verdreht habe und dort nun der Schatten nicht mehr stimmt. 

Hinter den letzten Rahmen habe ich oben außerdem eine Wolke aufgeklebt.
Für den Hintergrund habe ich ein Stück weißen Cardstock mit Distress Oxide Spiced Marmelade, Candied Apple, Chipped Sapphire und Ripe Persimmon gewischt und auf das Rückteil der Karte geklebt.

Behind the lower edges of the cut out rectangles I've glued a wave border.

Behind the middle wave border there's the sea gull. I've die cut it from different colors of cardstocks and used my Copics to add some shading. In only noticed later that I seem to have turned the wing when glueing it down so the shading is wrong there.

Behind the last frame I've glued a small cloud.
For the background I've used Distress Oxide Spiced Marmelade, Candied Apple, Chipped Sapphire and Ripe Persimmon to create a sundown background and glued that on the inner back of the card.

Beim Ausstanzen der Rahmen habe ich die Stanzen so positioniert, dass ich unten einen etwas größeren Streifen Cardstock erhalte. Dort habe ich ein "Liebe Grüße vom" - geklaut aus dem Stempelset Norber und das Nikolaus einfach nicht mit abgestempelt - aufgestempelt und das "Meer" mit dem ABC 1 Stanzenset aus rotem Cardstock gestanzt und aufgeklebt. Hinter dem R kam dann auch noch der Seestern, der im Set mit der Möwe enthalten ist, aufgeklebt.

When die cutting the frames from my card I've put the dies to the upper area of the card so I've ended up with a slightliy larger strip of cardstock at the bottom. There I've stamped a "greetings from the" and added the word "sea" with letters cut from red cardstock. And there behind the R I've also added the starfish, that comes in the set with the sea gull.
