Mir ist aufgefallen, dass ich schon ein paar Tage lang keine maritime Karte mehr gezeigt hahe - das ändere ich mit diesem Post!

I realized  that I  haven't shared with you an ocean themed card since a few days - I am changing that with this post!

 

Auf dieser Karte habe ich einfach alles an Marken wild durcheinander gemixt - so lange, bis mir die  Szene gefallen hat.

Der Hintergrund besteht aus hellblauem Cardstock, den ich etwa ab  der Hälfte aufwärts mit Distress Ink Salty Ocean gewischt habe. 

Darauf habe ich dann zwei Lagen Wellen geklebt: eine aus grün-grauem Cardstock, eine aus Vellum. Die oberen Kanten habe ich jeweils mit Wellenstanzen von MFT ausgestanzt. 

Den grünen Cardstock habe ich mit Faded Jeans und Evergreen Bough, die Rückseite des Vellums mit Peacock Feathers eingefärbt, dabei aber jeweils ein Stück der Originalfarbe sichtbar gelassen. 

Zwischen die beiden Wellen-Lagen habe ich dann noch drei Holzboller gesetzt. Die sind aus dem Set Layering Pelicans von ScrappyTails. Ich habe die Boller per Partial Diecutting so ausgestanzt, dass die untere Kante nicht gestanzt wird und alles dann mit der Schere verlängert, so dass die Boller auch wirklich den unteren Rand meiner Karte erreichen. Das Holzmuster habe ich mit Ohuhu Markern und einem weißen Gelstift aufgemalt.

 

On this card I did a wild mix  of brands - adding stuff until I liked the scene.

The background is made from light blue cardstock, that I inked from about the center upwards with Distress Ink Salty Ocean. 

 On top of that I put two layers of waves: eine cut from grey-ish green cardstock, one cut from vellum. To cut the waves along the top edge I used wave border dies by MFT. 

I inked the grey-ish green cardstock with Faded Jeans and Evergreen Bough, the back of the vellum with Peacock Feathers, making sure a portion of the original color is still visible at the top.

Between the two layers of waves  I put some wooden logs. Those are from the Layering Pelicans by ScrappyTails. I did some partial diecutting to not cut the bottom edge, then cut the rest with my scissors to make sure those reach the bottom of my card. I added the wooden pattern with Ohuhu markers and a white gel pen.

 

Zwischen und auf die beiden Wellenlagen habe ich dann Seegras, gemacht mit Stanzen von WaffleFlower und Action, gesetzt. Das habe ich mit Peeled Paint und Forest Moss gewischt. Außerdem habe ich auf die Cardstock-Lage mit Verafine Clair Very Peri einige Fisch-Silhouetten von WaffleFlower aufgestempelt. Die sieht man nur durch das Vellum so gut wie gar nicht mehr. 

Die Fische sind von WaffleFlower und HeroArts. Ich habe sie aus farbigem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Distress Ink Prize Ribbon, Broken China und Abandoned Coral scahttiert. 

Ich habe die Fische auf das Vellum geklebt und dann den Kleber, mit dem ich das Vellum befestigt habe, hinter den Fischen versteckt. 

Hinter die Seile, die um die Holzstämme gewickelt sind, habe ich noch einen Seestern gesetzt, der wieder aus dem Layering Pelicans Set ist. Den habe ich mit Abandoned Coral schattiert. 

 

Between and onto the waves layers I added some sea grass, made using dies by WaffleFlower and Action. I inked them with Peeled Paint and Forest Moss. I also stamped some fish silhouettes by WaffleFlower onto the cardstock layer using Versafine Clair Very Peri, but those are hardly visible anymore through the vellum.  

The fish are made using dies by WaffleFlower and HeroArts. I cut them from colored cardstock, then shaded them with Prize Ribbon, Broken China and Abandoned Coral.

I glued the fish onto the vellum and then hid the glue to adhere the vellum onto the cardstock behind the fish. 

Behind the ropes, that hold the wood logs together, I tucked a star fish, that's again from the Layering Pelicans set. I shaded it with some Abandoned Coral.  

 

Auf die Holzstämme habe ich dann grünes Moos gesetzt. Das wird bei den Stanzen eingestanzt, ich habe sie einfach nochmal aus grünem Cardstock gestanzt, diese Teile herausgeschnitten und aufgeklebt.

Oben auf den Stämmen steht eine kleine Möwe, die versucht, sich ihr Abendessen zu fangen. Die Möwe ist aus einem der Club Kits von Spellbinders von letztem Jahr. Ich habe nur die Möwe mit Alcohol Markern schattiert, die anderen Elemente habe ich wieder mit Distress Inks schattiert. 

Das Netz ist aus dem Set Twinkle Twinkle von MFT - und eigentlich hält es ein Bär. Es zeigt dabei auch in die andere Richtung. Also habe ich das Netz einmal mit dem Mirror Image von MFT gespiegelt und auf weißen Cardstock gestempelt. Hiervon habe ich nur die Holzteile übernommen. Außerdem habe ich das Netz auch noch einmal mit schwarzem StazOn auf Acetate gestempelt. Das konnte ich dann einfach umdrehen, so dass sich das Motiv auf der Rückseite befindet. Die Holzteile habe ich entlang der gestempelten Linien ausgeschnitten und auf das Acetate geklebt. So kann man durch das Netz hindurchsehen. ;)

Der Text auf der  Karte ist mit Stempeln von LawnFawn gemacht: das Wort "fish" mit Buchstaben aus dem Henry Jr.'s ABCs, der kleine Texte darunter mit diversen Henry's Build a Sentiment Sets. Dabei musste ich ein wenig kreativ werden - für das Wort "here" z. B. habe ich den mittleren Teil des Wortes "there's" benutzt. Die Texte sind mit Versafine Clair Twighlight direkt auf den Hintergrund gestemmpelt. Mit einem dünnen weißen Gelstift habe ich rechts und oben ein Highlight neben die Buchstaben gemalt. Ich fand den Text einfach toll zu der Szene. 

Außerdem habe ich auf dem Himmel noch einige Wolken verteilt, die mit den Puffy Clouds von MFT gemacht sind - meine absoluten Lieblings-Wolken. 

 

I added some moss to the wood logs. When die cutting them, the lines for these get cut into the cardstock. I simply cut them again from green cardstock, cut those areas out and glued them onto the brown pieces. 

On top of those logs there's a seagull, that's trying to catch his dinner.  The seagull is from one of last year's club kits.  I only shaded the bird with Ohuhu markers, on the other elements I used Distress Inks again. 

The net is from Twinkle Twinkle by MFT - and originally a bear is holding it. It also faces the wrong direction. So I used the Mirror Image stamp to mirror the image onto white cardstock - I only used the wooden parts here. I also used black StazOn to stammp the net onto acetetae. I could simply turn this face down, having the stamped image on the backside. I cut the wooden pieces out right along the stamped lines and glued those onto the acetate. Now you can see the sky through the net. ;)

The text on the card is made using stamps by LawnFawn: the word "fish" using letters from Henry Jr.'s ABCs, the small words underneath with different of the Henry's Build a Sentiment sets. I had to get a bit creative here - the word "here" ie is made using the center letters of the word "there's". I stamped the texts directly onto the background using Versafine Clair Twighlight. Then I added a thin highlight along the top and right of each letter.  I just loved this text with the scene.

I also added some small clouds to the sky using the Puffy Clouds by MFT - my absolute favorite cloud set.

 

 Beim Zusammenkleben der Szene habe ich dann kein 3D Tape benutzt, damit man die Elemente hinter dem Vellum noch erkennen kann.

Ich habe die Fische ein wenig mit Stickles beglittert und dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I didn't use any foam tape when putting the scene together, so the elements behind the vellum are still visible through it.

I added some Stickles to the fish, then glued the card panel to a white note card.

 

Craft Roulette Episode #332

Es ist schon wieder ein neues Wochenede und somit Zeit für eine neue Episode von Craft Roulette. Nun, eigentlich war ich mir sicher, diese Woche keine Karte fertig zu bekommen, denn wir hatten ein Familientreffen geplant. Aber es ist eine besondere Episode, die von Craft Roulette Life. Und gerade die wollte ich dann nicht aussetzen. Es war tatsächlich so, dass ich vormittags ein kleines Bastelfenster schaffen konnte. Und die Parameter dieses Mal fand ich auch sehr einfach:

It's weekend again and that means there's a new episode of Craft Roulette. Well, I was sure that I won't be able to make a card this week because of a familiy get together. But it's a special episode that I didn't want to sit out: Craft Roulette Life. And I really was able to make a bit of free time in the morning to make a card. Also,  this week's parameters immediately gave me an idea:

Hier ist meine Karte. Sie hat die Maße 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" und ist somit eine Ardyth's Square. Ich habe ein Stück türkisfarbenen Cardstocks in 4"  4" zugeschnitten und mit einem Holz-Embossingfolder von SU das Holzmuster hineingeprägt. 

 

Here's my card. It is 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" and that means it's an Ardyth's Square. I cut a piece of aqua cardstock to 4" x 4" and dry embossed it with a woodgrain embossingflolder by SU.

 

 Bei den Parametern Rahmen und Country musste ich sofrt an die Postage Collage Windows und die dazugehörigen Silhouette-Stempelsets von WaffleFlower denken. 

Ich habe erst die Postage Collage Stanze aus schwarzem Cardstock gestanzt und drei der Briefmarken ausgeschnitten. Für die habe ich dann weißen Cardstock mit der Postage Collage Blocks Stanze ausgestanzt und sie dann mit Distress Ink Scattered Straw, Spiced Marmalade und Crackling Campfire gewischt. Orange und türkis ist für mich auf jeden Fall eine aufregende Farbkombi. 

Auf die Rechtecke habe ich dann mit Stempeln aus dem Set Postage Collage Autumn Sunset und Versafine Clair Nocturne verschiedene Szenen aufgestempelt. Die habe ich dann auf die Briefmarken geklebt und die passenden Fensterrahmen, gemacht aus weißem Cardstock mit der Postage Collage Windows Stanze, aufgeklebt.

 

When I saw the parameters frame(s) and country I immediately had the Postage Collage Windows and the silhouette stamps by WaffleFlower in mind.  

I first die cut the Postage Collage die from black cardstock and cut out three of the postage stamps. For those I cut the matching toppers from white cardstock using the Postage Collage Blocks die. I inked these rectangles with Distress Ink Scattered Straw, Spiced Marmalade and Crackling Campfire. Orange and teal is for sure an exciting color combo to me.

I used the Postage Collage Autumn Sunset stamp set and Versafine Clair Nocturne ink to stamp different fall scenes onto the rectangles. I glued them onto the postage stamps and put the matching window frames, made from white cardstock with the Postage Collage Windows die, around/onto them. 

 

 

 Für meinen Text habe ich ein Fall Blessings aus dem Set Autumn Blessing von MFT weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst und mit der Schere ausgeschnitten. Dahinter befinden sich ein Ahornblatt, Eicheblätter und ein paar Eicheln, alle aus dem Fall Leaves Backdrop von LawnFawn Set. Ich hatte ein Rechteck mehr gewischt und die Blätter daraus ausgestanzt. Die Eichelnstiele sind aus schwarzem Cardstock, die Eicheln aus matt-goldenem Metallic-Cardstock gestanzt. 

 

For my text I white heat embossed a Fall Blessings from Autumn Blessings by MFT onto black cardstock and cut it out with my scissors. Behind it I put an acorn leaf, some oak leaves and two acorns, all  made using dies from Fall Leaves Backdrop by LawnFawn. I had inked an additional Postage Collage Blocks rectangle and cut the leaves from that.  The acorn stems I have cut from black cardstock, the acorns from matte gold metallic cardstock. 

 

 Ich habe die Briefmarken auf den Hintergrund geklebt und auf die freie Stelle unten links den Text angbracht, auf der sich auch super eine vierte Szene gemacht hätte. Den habe ich mit dünnem 3D Tape aufgeklebt. 

Als Deko habe  ich einige goldene Perlen auf der Karte verteilt, den Cardstock schwarz gemattet und zum Schluss alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. 

 

I glued the postage stamps onto the background and placed my text in the bottom left in the free space, where you could add another scene, too. The text I backed with thin foam tape.

 I added some gold pearls as decoratin, matted the aqua cardstock black and then glued everything onto a white card base.

Square Card: ich habe eine Ardyth's Square Karte gemacht.

Excited Colors: orannge und türkis - wegen des Kontrast super aufregend für mich

Country: Hinter meinen Fensternn gibt es verschiedene, ländliche Herbstszenen.

Frame(s): Um jeder der kleinen Szenen befindet sich ein Rahmen in Form eines Fensters.

Summer and Surfing

Bei mir sind vor kurzem das Postage Collage Windows Stanzenset sowie einige der Postage Collage Silhouette Stempelsets von WaffleFlower eingezogen. Und wie so oft war ich dann erstmal überfordert, was ich denn zuerst einweihen wollte/sollte. Ideengeber war dann das kleine Surfer-Motiv aus dem Postage Collage Tropical Sunset Stempelset sowie eine meiner Töchter, die genau diesen Lebensstil lebt.

A few days ago the new  Postage Collage Windows die set and a few of the Postage Collage Silhouette stamp sets by WaffleFlower made their way into my craft room. And as usual I was overwhelmed and didn't know what to use first. I got an idea when I spotted the little surfer image in the Postage Collage Tropical Sunset stamp set and one of my daughters, that lives just that lifestyle. 

 

Nun, die Karte ist jetzt nicht unbedingt ein Meisterwerk - es musste schnell gehen. Aber sie bringt  sowohl  das Sommerfeeling als auch die Beach Vibes rüber, und das war mein Plan.

Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem Stück blau-grauen Designpapiers mit Holzmuster, das mich an ein Beach Cottage erinnert. Ich habe die Ränder ein wenig mit Distress Ink Hickory Smoke gewischt. Unten habe ich als Boden einen Streifen braunen Woodgrain-Cardstocks von LawnFawn aufgeklebt, auf das ich ein weißes Stempelkissen gedrückt habe, um das Muster mehr hervorzuheben.

 

Well, this card might not be the most amazing masterpiece ever - I was short on time. But it has  a summer feeling and brings some beach vibes, exactly what I had intended.

The background is made from a piece of blue-ish grey patterned paper with a woodgrain pattern, that reminded me of a beach cottage. I inked the edges with some Distress Ink Hickory Smoke. At the bottom I added a strip of brown woodgrain cardstock by LawnFawn, that I pressed a white ink pad onto to bring out the pattern more, as the ground. 

 

 Ich habe zwei Fentser in die Cottage-Wand eingebaut, die den Blick auf einen tropischen Sonnenuntergang freigeben. 

Ich habe dafür mit den Postage Collage Airmail Stencils zwei der Rechtecke  mit Distress Ink Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry,  Wilted Violett und Blueprint Sketch auf weißen Cardstock gewischt und die Wolkenlage mit Dried Marigold und Villainous Potion aufgewischt. Dann habe ich Motive aus dem schon erwähnten Postage Collage Tropical Sunset Stempelset mit Versafine Clair Nocturne auf die Rechtecke aufgestempelt. 

Aus weißem Cardstock habe ich dann viermal das selbe Fenster aus dem Postage Collage Windows Set ausgestanzt. Zwischen je zwei Fensterrahmen habe ich im oberen Teil des Fenster Acetate eingefasst und den Hintergrund dahinter geklebt. Außerdem habe ich aus Vellum zweimal den Vorhang aus dem Set Postage Collage Windows AddOn gestanzt und jeweils an eine Seite des Fensters geklebt. Einen davon habe ich dabei aufs Gesicht gedreht, damit er in die andere Richtung weht. Bei Vellum geht das ja recht problemlos. Aus dem selben Set sind auch die beiden Topfpflanzen, die ich ins bzw. auf das Fenster gestellt habe. 

Oben quer über die Karte habe ich dann eine mit einer der Fishtail Banners von LawnFawn aus weißem Cardstock gestanzte Girlande aufgeklebt. Die Banner habe ich abwechselnd mit Spiced Marmalade und Picked Raspberry eingefärbt und die Schnur mit einem schwarzen Marker nachgemalt. 

 

 I installed two windows in my cottage wall, that give sight to a tropical sunset.

I used the Postage Collage Airmail stencils to stencil two rectangles with Distress Ink Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry, Wilted Violet and Blueprint Sketch. The clouds I did with Dried Marigold and Villainous Potion. Then I stamped images from the already mentioned Postage Collage Tropical Sunset stamp set onto them using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. 

From white cardstock I die cut four of the same windows of the Postage Collage Windows set. Between two of the windows I put a piece of acetate, just behind the upper half of the window, then glued the background behind them. I also die cut two curtains from Postage Collage Windows AddOn from vellum and glued one onto one side of each window. To make them move in different directions I turned one on its face. With vellum that's pretty easy to do. From the same set are also the two pot plants that I put into and onto the windows. 

 Across the top of the card I've hung up a banner, die cut from white cardstock using one of the Fishtail Banners by LawnFawn. I inked these with Spiced Marmalade and Picked Raspberry and colored the string with a black marker. 

 

Im unteren Bereich der Karte habe ich dann ein großes Surfbrett aus dem Lovely Layers Beach Bound Set von HoneyBeeStamps an das Fenster gelehnt. Das habe ich - wie alle Motive - aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Alkoholmarkern coloriert. Dabei wollte ich es so aussehen lassen wie ein teilweise farbig lackiertes Holz-Surfbrett. 

Neben dem Surfbrett steht eine Topfpflanze in einem Ständer aus dem Postage Collage Windowsill Plants Set. Und weil der unteren Teil der Karte noch etwas leer wirkte - und so ein Surfer einen treuen Freund braucht - habe ich hier noch einen Hund aufgeklebt. Der ist mit einer Stanze aus einem Set von Action gemacht. 

Schließlich habe ich noch verschiedene Texte/Textteile aus dem Deliver Summer Vibes Set von MamaElephant mit schwarzer Tinte direkt auf den Hintergrund gestempelt. Es sieht fast ein wenig so aus, als hätte sie jemand auf die Wand  geschrieben. 

 

In the lower half of the card I propped a large surfboard from Lovely Layers Beach Bound by HoneyBeeStamps against the window. I die cut that - just like all the images - from white cardstock and colored it with alcohol markers. I wanted it to look like a wooden surfboard that's partly colored. 

Next to the surfboard there's another potted plant in a stand from Postage Collage Windowsill Plants. And because the bottom of the card still looked a bit plain - and because a surfer needs a four legged friend - I added a little dog here. It's from a die set by Action.

Then I stamped different texts/text parts from Deliver Summer Vibes by MamaElephant with black ink directly onto the background. I kind of looks like someone wrote these onto the wall. 

 

Die Fenster sind durch die Lagen ja bereits etwas dicker. Deswegen habe ich die Pflanzen mit dünnem, das Banner und den Hund mit dickem 3D Tape hinterlegt. Als Deko habe ich noch ein paar klar-irisierende Pailetten aufgeklebt und dann alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling angebracht. 

 

Because of the layers the windows are alreay a bit raised. So I backed the plants with thin, the banenr and dog with thick foam tape. I added some clear iridescent sequins as decoration and then glued the card panel onto a white note card.

 

Ein Blumentopf als Dankeschön

Als Dankeschön verschenkt man ja gerne mal Blumen - deswegen habe ich auf die heutige Dankeskrte einen Blumentopf gesetzt. Und der ist ganz frisch bepflanzt.

People like to give flowers to say thanks - so I put a flower pot on today's thank you card.  And this was just planted.

 

Die Karte ist rustikaler geworden als ich eigentlich geplant hatte. 

Im Hintergrund wollte ich den Look eines Rankgitters haben, das passt so toll zum Garten. Also habe ich den Diamond Plate Background von TheTon aus weißem Cardstock getanzt und so verbreitert, dass er den gesamten Cardstock abgeckt. Dahinter habe ich türkisfarbenen Cardstock gesetzt. Den habe ich direkt mit zwei Tönen türkisener Tinte gewischt und dabei das Kissen direkt über den Cardstock gezogen. Auf die Idee kam ich, weil ich die selbe Technik schon unten auf dem Holz angewendet hatte und so passt alles zusammen.

Für das Holz im unteren Teil habe ich den Woodgrain Texture Background von WaffleFlower aus hellbraunem Cardstock gestanzt, ein Stück davon ausgeschnitten und es dann mit den dazugehörigen Stencils zart in zwei Brauntönen gewischt. Die Kissen der selben Töne habe ich dann  wieder leicht über das Papier gezogen. Alle Stempelkissen sind von MFT, ich habe Hybrid und Dye Kissen gemischt. 

 

This card turned out more rustic than I had planned.

In the background I wanted to have the look of a lattice because it goes great with the gardening theme. So I die cut the Diamond Plate Background by TheTon from white cardstock and made it wider with partial diecutting so it covers the whole width of the card. Then I put some turquoise cardstock behind it. I used two different shades of turquoise ink to ink the cardstock, dragging the ink pad lightly and directly across the paper. I had the idea because I already had done the same technique to add structure to the wooden base and now everything goes together. 

For the wood on the bottom I die cut the Woodgrain Texture Background by WaffleFlower from light brown cardstock and cut out a piece of it. Then I inked that with two shades of brown ink and the matching stencil set. Using the same colors and dragging the ink pads  over the paper I added more ink. All  ink pads I used here are by MFT, I mixed Dye inks and Hybrid inks. 

 

Der Blumentopf ist aus dem Happy Herbs Stanzenset von WaffleFlower. Ich habe ihn aus hellgrauem Cardstock gestanzt und die Teile mit grauen Stempelkissen eingefärbt. Dann habe ich den oberen Teil des größten Blumentopfs aus dem Set Pots and Plants sowie den passenden Aufleger aus dem selben Cardstock gestanzt und als Untersetzer verwendet. So wirkt der Topf gleich viel mehr als wäre  er als Geschenk gedacht - schließlich will man beim Übergeben nicht schon mit nasser Erde eingeschmiert werden. Den Geschenk-Eindruck verstärkt außerdem eine Schleife, die  ich um den Topf gewickelt  habe. Das Band habe ich mit der Blumentopf-Stanze gemacht  und die untere Kante mit der Schere geschnitten, die Schleife ist aus dem Set Postage Collage Gifts. Ich habe die Teile aus rosafarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Ohuhu Markern schattiert. 

Rund um den Blumentopf liegt noch Erde vom Einpflanzen. Die Häufchen sind mit der Sandhügel-Stanze aus dem Set Build-a-House Beach AddOn von LawnFawn gemacht. Rundherum habe ich dann mit dunkelbrauner Tinte den Sand aus dem Set Inquisitve Seagulls gestempelt.

Und vor dem Topf liegen noch die Gartengeräte, mit denen die Blumen gepflanzt wurden. Die sind  aus dem Set Postage Collage  Gardening AddOns. Ich habe den Metallteilen aus matt-silbernem Metallic-Cardstock rosafarbene Griffe angeklebt und auf die  dann kleine Punkte mit einem weißen Gelstift aufgemalt. Für die Erdreste an den Geräten habe ich die noch einmal aus dunkelbraunem Cardstock gestanzt, mit der Schere Stückchen davon ausgeschnitten und sie dann auf die kompletten Geräte geklebt. 

 

The flower pot is from Happy Herbs by WaffleFlower. I die cut it from light grey cardstock and then added some texture to it with gery ink pads. Then I die cut the top part of the largest flower pot from Pots and Plants and also the additional brim from the same cardstock and used that to create a plate. Now it looks more like it is meant to be a gift - you don't want to get dirty when handing it out. The bow I put on the pot makes it look even more like a present. I used the flower pot die to create the ribbon, cutting the bottom with my scissors. The bow is from Postage Collage Gifts. I cut the pieces from pink carstock and shaded them with Ohuhu markers. 

Around the flower pot there's still some dirt from planting the flowers. I made the piles using the sand pile die from Buld-a-House Beach AddOn by LawnFawn. Around them I then stamped the sand from Inquisitive Seagulls using dark brown ink. 

And in front of the flower pot there are still the gardening tools that were used to plant the flowers. Those are from Postage Collage Gardening AddOns. I cut the metall pieces from matte silver metallic cardstock and added some pink handles to them. I used a white gel pen to draw white dots to the handles. For the dirt on the tips of the tools I die cut the tools again from dark brown cardstock, cut off pieces  with my scissors and glued those onto the complete tools. 

 

 Beflanzt habe ich den Blumentopf mit dunkelroten Blumen, zwischen denen kleine pinkfarbene Blüten sitzen. Die sind alle aus dem Set Floral Anchor Außerdem habe ich einige Zweige aus dem Set Postage Collage Mini Seals dazwischengesteckt.

Meinen Text habe ich auf zwei Blumenstecker gestempelt. Die sind aus dem Set Plant Marker, die Texte darauf aus Plant Marker Words. Ich habe  sie weiß auf schwarzen Cardstock embosst und auf die größeren Schildchen geklebt. Vom dritten Pflanzenstecker - die Stanze macht gleich drei auf einmal - habe ich den Schildteil abgeschnitten und stattdessen ein Herz aus pinkfarbenem Cardstock aufgeklebt. Das Herz habe ich mit Stickles beglittert und auch ein wenig davon auf die großen Blumen aufgetragen.

 

I planted some dark red flowers into the flower pot and put some small pink flowers between them. I used the Floral Anchor set here and added some more leaves from Postage Collage Mini Seals. 

The text on this card I stamped onto some plant markers, made with the Plant Marker die set and the Plant Marker Words stamp set. I white heat embossed the texts onto the smaller pieces, cut from black cardstock, then glued them onto the larger markers. From the third plant marker - the die cuts three at once - I cut off the top part and glued a pink heart onto it. I added Stickles to the heart and also put a bit of it onto the large flowers.

 

 Den Blumentopf  habe  ich mit dünnem, die Gartengeräte mit dickem 3D Tape auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Als Deko habe ich dann einige hellrosa-irisierende Steinchen auf der Karte verteilt und alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt. 

 

I backed the flower pot with thin, the gardening tools with thick foam tape and adhered them to the background. Then I added a few light pink iridescent rhinestones as decoration and glued the card panel to a white note card.

A few weeks ago I have started to save my saturdays to make my entry for Craft Roulette. That happened also this week and here's my card that I used this week's parameters on:

 Ich finde es so faszinierend, wie schnell man tatsählich eine Idee zu den Vorgaben hat, die man im Normalfall wohl eher weniger zum Thema für eine Karte machen würde. Diesmal hat es ein wenig länger gedauert, allerdings lag das hauptsächlich daran, dass die Vorgabe "interactive card" so viele Möglichkeiten bot und ich mich erst für eine entscheiden musste. Geworden ist es dann eine Slider Card.

Der Hintergrund  besteht aus hellblauem Cardstock, den ich von unten her ein wenig mit Distress Ink Mermaid Lagoon gewischt habe. Dann habe ich weiße Acrylfarbe aufgespritzt.

 

It's so fascinating to me how quickly I have an idea with the parameters, that I for sure would not combine/use on any other card. This time it took me a bit longer, the main reason for that was, that the parameter "interactive card" left so many possibilities and I had to decide on one first. I made a slider card in the end.

The background is made from a piece of light blue cardstock. I inked it from the bottom up with Distress Ink Mermaid Lagoon and added splatters of white acrylic paint. 

 

 Im unteren Bereich der Karte befindet sich eine Wildblumenwiese mit Gras. 

Ich habe die Graslagen aus verschiedenen Tönen grünen Cardstocks gestanzt und mit Distress Ink Mowed Lawn und Peeled Paint gewischt. Nun war mir tatsächlich nicht klar, dass ink edging bedeutet, das Stempelkissen direkt auf den Rand des Cardstocks zu drücken. Das habe ich dann auf der hellgrünen Lage Gras nachgeholt um keine Vorgabe zu vergessen. Das Stempelkissen hat dem Gras zugleich etwas Struktur verliehen.

Die Blumen auf der Wiese sind eine wilde Mischung - nicht nur an Blumen sondern auch an Stanzen. Die beiden Blumenreihen sind mit einer Stanze von CC Designs gemacht. Ich habe einige der Blüten durch kleinen Blumen von LawnFawn sowie von Create a Smile ersetzt. Hinter der zweiten Reihe habe ich dann noch Sonnenblumen von LawnFawn sowie Glockenblumen von Magnolia gepflanzt. Ich habe alle Blüten aus weißem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Copics coloriert. 

Auf der hellgrünen Lage habe ich dann noch einen Text - oder Teil meines Textes - aus dem Henry's Build a Sentiment Honeybee Set von LawnFawn weiß aufembosst. 

 

In the lower half of my card I planted a wildflower meadow with grass.

I die cut the grass layers from different shades of green cardstock and inked them with Distress Ink Mowerd Lawn and Peeled Paint. Well, I honestly didn't know that ink edging means to press the ink pad directly onto the edge of your cardstock. I did that on the lightest layer of grass to not miss any of the parameters. The ink pad also added some texture to my grass.

The flowers on the meadow are a wild mix - not just flower wise but also of dies I used. The two flower rows are made using a die by CC Designs. I replaced some of the flowers with ones from LawnFawn and Create a Smile. Behind the second row of flowers I added some sunflowers by LawnFawn and lily of the valleys by Magnolia. I die cut all flowers from white cardstock and colored them with Copics.

Onto the light green layer of grass I white heat embossed a text - or part of my text - using stamps from Henry's Build a Sentiment Honeybee by LawnFawn.

 

 Oben über der Blumenwiese fliegt eine kleine Biene mit Gießkanne, mit der sie die Blumen auf der Wiese gießt, damit sie schön wachsen können. 

Die Biene und die Gießkanne sind aus dem Set Postage Collage Gardening Tools von WaffleFlower. Die habe ich aus farbigem Cardstock gestanzt und per Ink Blending etwas schattiert. Auf die Gießkanne habe ich mit Rusty Hinge zusätzlich ein wenig Rost aufgewischt. Vorne an der Gießkanne befindet sich ein kleines Dreieck aus Acetate, auf das ich einige Wassertropfen geklebt habe, die aus der Gießkanne kommen. 

Außerdem habe ich am Himmel einige kleine Wolken aufgeklebt.  

 

There's a little bee with a watering can flying over the meadow, watering the flowers and making sure they have everything they need to grow and bloom.

The bee and the watering can are from Postage Collage Gardening Tools by WaffleFlower. I die cut them from colored cardstock and did some ink blending to shade them. I also applied a bit of Rusty Hinge to the edges of the watering can to give it a hint of rust. To the "opening" - sorry, I have not idea what that part is called in english - I glued a small triangle cut from acetate and then glued some tiny water drops to it, that seem to look out of the watering can.

I also adhered some small white clouds to the sky. 

 

 

Ich habe ja schon erwähnt, dass ich eine Slider Card gemacht habe. Zieht man am Tab rechts an der Karte, fliegt die kleine Biene wirklich über die Blumenwiese und versorgt so alle Blumen mit Wasser.

Ich habe einen kleinen Tunnel in den blauen Hintergrund geschnitten. Dahinter befindet sich der grüne Tab, davor ein Streifen Acetate. An dessen oberen Ende habe ich die Biene angeklebt. Und damit sie sich frei bewegen kann, habe ich die Blumenwiese mit dickem 3D Tape auf die Karte geklebt.

 

I already mentioned that I made a slider card. When you pull the tab on the right side of the card the little bee is actually flying over the meadow, making sure every flower gets watered.

I cut a little slit into the blue background. Behind that I put the green pull tab, on top I adhered a strip of acetate. To its top I glued the bee. And to make sure it can move freely I put thick foam tape behind the flowers.

 

 Wenn der Pull Tab herausgezogen ist, sieht man auch den Rest meines Textes. Den habe ich weiß darauf embosst und wieder Stempel aus Henry's Build a Sentiment Honeybee benutzt. 

 

When the pull tab is pulled out completly you can also read the rest of my text. I white heat embossed it onto it and used stamps from Henry's Build a Sentiment Honeybee again.

 

 Ich habe die Wassertropfen und die Flügel der Biene mit Stickles beglittert. Außerdem habe ich als Deko ein kleines weißes Herz auf die Gießkanne und einige weitere unten auf die oberste Graslage geklebt. Dann habe ich alles auf einem weißen Kartenrohling befestigt. 

Und zum Schluss hier noch der Parameter-Check:

- summer colors: blauer Himmel, saftig grünes Gras und Blumen, die bunt blühen - sommerlichere Farben gibt es für mich nicht

- Here comes the bride: eine meiner Töchter war vor kurzem auf einer Hochzeit und der Brautstrauß bestand aus Wildblumen. Das hat mich hier inspiriert. 

- Ink Edging: eingebaut auf der hellgrünen Graslage.

 

I used Stickles to add some glitter to the water droplets and bee's wings. I also glued a white clay heart onto the watering can and four more onto the top most layer of grass. Then I adhered the card panel to a white note card.

And last but not least, let's do a parametere check:
- interactive card: slider card

- summer colores: blue skies, green grass and flowers, that bloom in bright colors - there's nothing more summer-ish than those colors

 - here comes the bride: one of my daughters was at a wedding recently and the bride's bouquet was made from a bunch of wildflowers. That's what inspired me here.

- ink edging: done on the light green layer of grass.

Ich hoffe, Ihr seid des Themas nicht langsam überdrüssig - ich habe schon wieder eine Unterwasser-Karte für Euch. Aber im Sommer passt das einfach so schön und versetzt mich beim Basteln in Urlaubsstimmung.

I really hope you're not getting sick of the theme - but I have another under water scene card to share with you today. It goes so greatly with summer and also puts me in vacation mood while crafting.

 

Auch hier habe ich wieder die Ocean Windows von Altenew benutzt, allerdings nur zwei der fünf Stanzen aus dem Set. Und weil selbst mir das ganze Türkis und Blau zu viel wurde, habe ich mich auf die Suche nach einer anderen Farbkombi gemacht. Glaubt es oder nicht, gelandet bin ich dann bei Lila (!) und habe das mit Koralle kombiniert.

Die oberste Lage meiner Karte besteht aus einem extrem hellen lilafarbenen Cardstock, der fast weiß wirkt. Die Lagen darunter sind aus mittel- und dunkellila farbenem Cardstock gemacht. 

 

Again I used the Ocean Windows by Altenew, but here just two of the five dies from the set. And because even I was feeling a bit tired of all the turquoise and blues I went looking for a different color combination. Believe it or not, I ended up with purple (!) and combined it with coral.

The top layer of my card is made from extremly light purple cardstock, that nearly looks like white. The layers underneath are cut from middle and dark purple cardstock. 

 

Und hier seht Ihr den Grund, warum ich eine weitere Unterwasser-Karte machen musste: die süße Schildkröte aus Happy Turtles von WaffleFlower. Die ist aus dem  Mai-Release und eigentlich hatte ich sie nicht bestellen wollen. Nun, da ich mich im nachhinein aber doch noch in ihren zufriedenen Gesichtsausdruck, mit dem sie gemütlich durchs Wasser gleitet, verliebt habe, habe ich sie doch noch bestellt. Und jetzt wollte sie natürlich auch benutzt werden. 

Ich habe sie aus verschiedenen Tönen von korallefarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und mit Ohuhu Markern schattiert. Das Muster auf dem Panzer habe ich mit einem klaren Glitter-Gelstift nachgemalt. 

 

And here you see the reason why  I had to make another under water card: the cute turtle from Happy Turtles by WaffleFlower.  It's from their may release and it was the  one set I didn't want to order. But then I fell in love with the content look on her face while she's gliding through the water, and ordered it anyways. And of course she needs to be used.

I die cut the turtle from different shades of coral cardstock and shaded them with Ohuhu markers. The pattern on her back I traced with a clear glitter gel pen.

 

 Für die Pflanzen, Steine und kleinen Schildkröten im Hintergrund kamen dann weitere Sets aus dem Mai-Release zum Einsatz: Coral Reef, Postage Collage Coral Reef Silhouettes und Under the Sea. Die Seesterne und Muscheln kommen mit den Schildkröten im Set. 

Auch hier habe ich die Teile, die ich aus farbigem Cardstock gestanzt habe, ein wenig mit Ohuhu Markern schattiert, für die Highlights auf den hohen Pflanzen habe ich einen weißen Polychromo verwendet. Der zartere Look gefiel mir auf den Pflanzen besser. 

 

For the plants, rocks and small turtles in the background  I used more sets from the may release: Coral Reef, Postage Collage Coral Reef Silhouettes and Under the Sea. The star fish and seashells come in the same set as the turtles. 

Again I shaded the pieces, that I have cut from colored cardstock, with Ohuhu markers, for the hightlights on the tall plants I used a white Polychromo.  I liked the softer look better with the plants.

 

 Meinen Text habe ich oben quer über die Karte gesetzt und mich für "go with the flow" entschieden. Das passte für mich so schön zur Schildkröte. Das "go" und das "flow" habe ich jeweils  aus hell- und dunkellila Cardstock mit einem Alphabet-Set von CC Designs ausgestanzt und leicht versetzt aufeinander geklebt. Das "with the" in der Mitte ist mit Stempeln aus dem Set Bitty Holiday Wishes von MFT gemacht und weiß  embosst. 

 

I adhered the text across the top of the card and went with a "go with the flow". I think that's the perfect fit for this turtle. I created the "go" and the "flow" using an alphabet die set by CC Designs and cutting the letters from each light and dark purple cardstock. Then I stacked them a bit offset. The "with the" in the center is made with stamps from Bitty Holiday Wishes by MFT and white heat embossed. 

 

 Beim Zusammensetzen der Karte habe ich zwischen die Hintergrundlagen dickes 3D Tape gesetzt und dann die kleineren Elemente im Hintergrund teilweise hinter die Ausstanzungen gesteckt. 

Als Deko habe ich dann viele klar-irisierende Pailetten als Blubberblasen aufgeklebt und außerdem an einigen Stellen Stickles auf den Cardstock aufgetragen. 

Zum Schluss habe ich dann alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling aufgeklebt.

 

When putting the card together I put thick foam tape between the background layers, then tucked the smaller elements in the background behind them.  

As decoration I scattered some clear-iridescent sequins all over the card and also applied some Stickles to a few areas of the backgrounds.

Then I glued the card panel to a white note card.

 

Beauty shines beneath the surface

Ich hatte es Euch ja schon angekündigt - hier ist die Karte, auf der ich die "Reste" meiner Teich-Karte verarbeitet habe. Und natürlich ist auch hier Wasser das Hauptthema, diesmal tauchen wir aber etwas tiefer ein.

I had  already announced it - here is the card that I used the left overs from my pond card. And of course water is the main theme again, but this time we are diving down deep.

 

Da die Blautöne ja wegen der ausgestanzten Reste ja bereits vorgegeben waren, habe ich auch für den Hintergrund den vierten, selben Farbton wie auf meiner Teichkarte mit ins Spiel gebracht. So passte schon alles zusammen und ich musste zwischen den beiden Karten nicht mal groß den Schreibtisch aufräumen... 

Die Wasserflecken sind mit dem Ocean Windows  Set von Altenew gemacht. Und auch das Seepferdchen ist von Altenew. Das Mini Delight Graceful Seahorse Set ist ein Mini-Set mit Stanzen und einem kleinen Stempelset, in dem neben Texten auch Wasserpflanzen enthalten sind. Davon habe ich einige mit dunkelblauer Tinte auf den dunkelblauen Hintergrund gestempelt und mit einem dunkelblauen Polychromo eine Seite mit einer Linie hervorgehoben. Auf der anderen Seite habe ich Highlights mit einem dünnen weißen Gelstift gesetzt. Anschließend habe ich dunkelblaue Metallic-Watercolor aufgespritzt und dabei auf die obere rechte Ecke nur ein paar wenige Spritzer aufgebracht. 

 

The blues were already picked for me because I used those left over pieces, so for the background I brought in the same fourth, dark shade of blue as I had used on my pond card. This way everything was already picked out and I even didn't really have to clean my desk inbetween the cards...

The water spots - blobs - drops (I don't know what to call them) are made using the Ocean Windows by Altenew. And also the seahorse is by Altenew. It's from the Mini Delight Graceful Seahorse set, that comes with the die set and a small stamp set, that not only includes texts but also some underwater plants.  I stamped those with dark blue ink onto the dark blue background, then used a dark blue Polychromo to add a shadow line to one side. On the other one I added highlights with a fine white gel pen. Then I splattered dark blue metallic watercolor onto the cardstock, trying to get as little as possible onto the top right corner. 

 

 

 Die Wasserflecken habe ich dann mittig auf den Hintergrund geklebt. Diesmal geben sie der  Karte nicht unbedingt Tiefe, da sie ja aufeinander geklebt  sind. Aber trotzdem mag ich sie auf der Karte, sie sorgen für einen Eyecatcher im Mittelpunkt. 

Die Wasserflecken im Hintergrund habe ich wieder mit blauen Tinten im unteren Bereich gewischt. 

 

I glued the water spots onto the center of the background. This time they don't add depth to the card, because I stacked them. But I still like them on this card, they add some kind of eyecatcher to the center. 

 I darkened the bottom of the water spots with some blue ink.

 

Hier könnt Ihr das Seepferdchen besser sehen. Es ist ein kleines Layering-Set. Ich habe den Körper und den unteren Kopfteil aus cremefarbenem Cardstock, die Rückenflosse und die oberen Kopf- und Körperlagen aus Glittercardstock mit einem Farbverlauf von Rot nach Gold  ausgestanzt. Die cremefarbenen Teile habe ich dann mit Distress Ink Aged Mahogany, Victorian Velvet und Tea Dye gewischt. 

Damit das Seepferdchen nicht so alleine auf der Karte herumschwimmt, habe ich ihm zwei Fische gegenüber gesetzt. Die sind aus dem Set Postage Collage Fish von WaffleFlower und aus graugrünem und schwarzem Cardstock sowie Glittercardstock, diesmal von grün zu türkis übergehend, gestanzt. 

Im unteren Bereich der Karte habe ich dann einige Muscheln aus dem Seashells Set von WaffleFlower sowie einige Pflanzen angebracht. Die sind aus dem Set mit dem Seepferdchen sowie von Magnolia und Action. Die Muscheln und den Seestern hatte ich wieder aus cremefarbenem Cardstock gestanzt und in Blau- und Rottönen gewischt. Die Pflanzen sind aus grau-grünem sowie extrem dunkelblauem Cardstock gestanzt.  

Here you get a better look at the seahorse. It's a small layering set. I die cut the full body and the bottom part of the head from cream colored cardstock, the  fin and the top layers of the body and head from glitter cardstock, that ranges from red to gold. I inked the cream colored pieces  with Distress Ink Aged  Mahogany, Victorian Velvet and Tea  Dye. 

To make sure the seahorse doesn't feel lonely down there in the ocean I added two fish, that are swimming his direction. Those fish are from Postage Collage Fish by WaffleFlower. I cut them from grey-ish green and black cardstock and glitter cardstock, this time some with a green and aqua gradient. 

Along the bottom edge of the card I added some seashells from the Seashells set by WaffleFlower and some underwater plants. Those are from the Graceful Seahorse die set and by Magnolia and Action. I had cut the seashells and the star fish from cream colored cardstock and inked them in blues and red. The plants I cut from grey-ish green and extremly dark blue cardstock. 

 

 Dann brauchte meine Karte einen Text. Auch erst ist aus dem Graceful Seahorse Set. Eigentlich wollte ich ihn gerne direkt auf den Hintergrund stempeln, das ging aber wegen der darunter liegenden gestackten Stanzteile und deren verschiedene Höhen nicht. Also habe ich ihn weiß auf dunkelblauen Cardstock embosst, mit der Schere ausgeschnitten und aufgeklebt. 

Und über dem Text ist noch eine kleine Qualle unterwegs. Die ist ebenfalls aus einem Set von Action, die Tentakeln habe ich aus irisierendem Vellum gestanzt.

 

Then my card needed a text, it's again from Graceful Seahorse. Originally I wanted to stamp it directly onto the  background, but that wasn't possible due to the stacked die cuts and their different heights. So I white heat embossed  it onto a piece of dark blue cardstock, cut it out with my scissors and glued it across the card.

Above the text I added a small jelly fish. It's again from a die set by Action, the tentacles I cut from iridescent vellum.

 

 Da sich an einigen Stellen der Karte ja bereits einige Lagen Cardstock befinden, habe ich beim Zusammenkleben der Karte auf 3D Tape verzichtet. Dafür habe ich überall noch einige klare, bläulich-grün irisierende Glitzersteine als Blubberblasen verteilt.

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

Since there are already quite some cardstock layers in a few areas of the card I didn't use any foam tape to put the scene together. But I added some clear, blue-ish green iridescent rhinestones as bubbles all over the scene. 

Then I glued the card panel to a white note card.

I wasn't sure if I'd make it this weekend, but here it is: my card for Craft Roulette episode #326. This week's parameters are/were:

Nun, im ersten Moment war ich ein wenig überfragt, aber die Idee zu meiner Karte kam mir dann doch recht fix. 

Der Hintergrund besteht aus hellblauem Cardstock, den ich von unten her mit Distress Ink Mermaid Lagoon eingefärbt habe. 

Darauf kam dann erst ein Hügel, davor zwei Lagen Gras, beides aus (unterschiedlichen) Tönen grünen Cardstocks gestanzt. Für das Gras habe ich die Grassy Pasture Backdrop Landscape Stanze von LawnFawn benutzt und sie in mehrere Teile geschnitten. Zwei davon habe ich dann für meine Karte verwendet. Die Lagen habe ich mit Pine Needles bzw. Rustic Wilderness schattiert. Außerdem habe ich auf beide grüne Metallic-Watercolor aufgespritzt. 

Zwischen Hügel und Gras habe ich dann einen weißen Zaun gesetzt. Der ist mit der Picket Fence Stanze von LawnFawn gemacht.

 

Well, I was a bit at a loss for a few seconds but then I got the idea for this card pretty quickly. 

The background is made from a piece of light blue cardstock, that I shaded from the bottom up with Distress Ink Mermaid Lagoon.  

Onto it I glued a hill and two layers of grass, cut from two different shades of green cardstock. For the grass layers I used the Grassy Pasture Backdrop Landscape   by LawnFawn  and cut it into smaller strips. Two of them I used on this card. I inked  the green layers with Rustic Wilderness and Pine Needles. I also splattered green metallic watercolor onto the green layers.

Between the hill and grass I put a fence. This is cut from white cardstock using the Picket Fence die  by LawnFawn. 

 

 Hauptelement auf meiner Karte ist ein ein großer Heuhaufen, auf dem ein Hahn trohnt. 

Der Heuhaufen ist mit dem Hay There Stanzen- und Stencilset von WaffleFlower gemacht. Ich habe ihn aus hellbeigem Cardstock gestanzt und die Schatten mit Bundled Sage und Frayed Burlap aufgewischt. Anschließend habe ich Polychromos verwendet, um dem Heuhaufen etwas Struktur zu geben. 

Der Hahn oben auf dem Heuhaufen sowie das  Küken und das Huhn unten sind aus dem Set Kikeriki von Create a Smile. Ich habe sie mit Ohuhu Markern coloriert und mit der Schere ausgeschnitten. 

Außerdem habe ich mit dem Wegweiser-Set von Create a Smile ein Schild ausgestanzt und hinter dem Heuhaufen ins Gras gesteckt. 

 

Main element on my card is a large hay stack with a rooster on top.  

The hay stack is made with the Hay There die and stencil set by WaffleFlower.  I cut it from light beige cardstock and added the shading with Bundled Sage and Frayed Burlap. Then I used Polychromos to add some more details to the hay stack. 

The rooster on top of the hay stack and also the hen and chicken at the bottom are from Kikeriki by Create a Smile. I colored them with Ohuhu markers and cut them out with my scissors. 

I also used the Wegweiser die set by Create a Smile to cut a sign and tucked it behind the hay  stack into the grass. 

 

 Auf das Schild habe ich dann mit brauner Tinte meinen Text "hay there Dude" aufgestempelt. Dafür habe ich Stempel von LawnFawn und WhimsyStamps kombiniert. 

Am Himmel habe ich drei kleine weiße Wolken verteilt. Und weil der Bereich hier doch noch etwas fad aussah, habe ich  mit der Simple Stitched Tree Border einen Hügel mit Bäumen aus braunem Cardstock gestanzt. Den habe ich dann in kleinere Teile geschnitten und drei davon hinter den Hügel gesteckt. Das Laub habe ich mit winzigen Wolkenstanzen aus grünem Cardstock gestanzt. 

 

Onto the sign I stamped my "hay there Dude" text with brown ink. I combined stamps by LawnFawn and WhimsyStamps for it.

I added three small white clouds to the sky. And because this upper area of the card looked a bit plain I also die cut the Simple Stitched Tree Border from dark brown cardstock, cut it into pieces and tucked three trees behind the hill. The leaves I cut from green cardstock using some tiny clouds dies.

 

Ich habe hier 3D Tape hinter Zaun und Gras, den Heuhaufen samt Schild und Hahn sowie hinter die beiden Hühner im unteren Bereich der Karte gesetzt. Die Schwanzfedern des Hahns habe ich mit einem Nuvo  Aqua Shimmer Pen beglittert. 

Zum Schluss habe ich alles auf einen weißen Kartenrohling geklebt.

 

I put foam tape behind the fence and grass, the hay stack with the sign and rooster and also behind the two chicks at the bottom of the card. I applied some Nuvo Aqua Shimmer to the rooster's tail feathers.

Then I glued the card panel to a white note card.

 

Und hier noch der Parameter-Check:

Project: dies ist eine Männerkarte, ich habe auerdem das Wort Dude auf das Schild gestempelt.

- Colors: Ich habe grün, blau, weiß und ein wenig braun benutzt - genau die Farben, die man während einer Schlittenfahrt durch den verschneiten Winterwald sieht.

Element:  Auf meiner Karte befinden sich drei Hühner.

Random: ich habe sowohl einen weißen Gelstift als  auch einen Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen auf der Karte verwendet. Außerdem habe ich zufällig bei Goo-le gelernt, dass ein "pen" auch ein eingezäuntes Tiergehege sein kann. Also habe ich den Zaun eingebaut.

- colors: I went with green, blue, white and a bit of brown - just the colors you see during a sleigh ride through the snowy winter woods.

- element: I added three chicks to my card

random: I used a white gel pen and a Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen. I also learned, that a pen can also be a small enclosure for an animal. So I added the fence.
