Einen schönen Sonntag Euch allen! Es ist kaum zu glauben, aber es schneit schon wieder... Naja, holen wir den Frühling eben mit einer Karte ins Haus.
Diese hier habe ich für Magnolia Down Under gemacht, wo das Thema "Easel Card" lautet.

Happy sunday to all of you! I can´t believe it but - it´s snowing again... So, let´s get at least a little bit of spring into the house by making a spring-ish card.

Ich habe "Sweet Tilda" von Magnolia verwendet und mit Copics coloriert - übrigens zusammen mit Manu letzten Freitag. Die Papiere sind alle aus meiner Reste-Kiste. Der Spruch ist von Stampin´Up.
Entstanden ist es nach diesem Sketch von Just Magnolia, den sich Jay Jay ausgedacht hat:

Stempeleinmaleins - Woche 14

Es ist Samstag und das heißt neben "endlich frei" und "Wochenende" auch, daß es wieder Zeit für eine Stempeleinmaleins-Ausgabe ist! Und diesmal bin ich an der Reihe. Da bei unseren Mädels nun das "ich hätte gerne einen Gutschein oder Geld"-Alter anbricht und wir dies dann immer schön verpacken möchten, gibt es von uns des öfteren einen solchen gift card holder. Und daher habe ich eine Anleitung dafür geschrieben. Ich habe die Idee das erste Mal bei den Splitcoaststampers entdeckt und mich sofort in sie verliebt.
Und falls Ihr nun auf der Suche nach einer deutschen Anleitung mit cm-Maßen seid oder keine "coin envelopes" bekommt dürfte die von mir geschriebene Anleitung perfekt sein. Und die findet ihr hier.

It´s saturday and besides "some days off" and "weekend" that also means that it´s time for another issue of Stempeleinmaleins. And this weeks it´s my turn to do the posting. Since my girls are reaching that age when they give either money or gift cards to the freinds that invited them to their parties we were looking for a nice way of wrapping these. I came across the tutorial at Splitcoaststampers and loved this idea from the first moment I saw it.

Und auch das Thema von Stamp Something habe ich eingebaut: "touch of spring". Also Blumen, zarte Farben, Schmetterlinge...

Das Motiv heißt "Smile" und ist von Belles´n´Whistles. Mit den Blümchen in der Hand über dem Ast hängend sieht sie aus, als ob sie Ausschau nach dem Frühling halten würde.

Und ich hatte gestern auch Besuch: Manu und ihre drei Kinder! Sie waren in Regensburg zu Besuch bei Manus Mutter und da haben wir ein Treffen vereinbart. Ach, Kuchen essen, fachsimpeln und ein bißchen colorieren... Und die Kinder haben sich auch super verstanden! Ganz lieben Dank nochmal für Euren lieben Besuch - jederzeit gerne wieder!

Copic Colour Challenge # 52, Hanna and Friends # 32 und Cute Card Thursday # 100

Oh, wie sehr ich mir den Frühling herbei wünsche! Und ein bißchen davon ist heute schon zu mir ins Haus geflattert: in Form des ersten Stempelkits 2010 von Whiff Of Joy! Ich konnte einfach nicht anders und habe einen der Stempel sofort einweihen müssen. Zu bestellen gibt es das Stempelkit direkt über Whiff Of Joy. Und es wird noch besser: Das Kit ist bereits auf Cling Cushion montiert! Ich als bekennender Nicht-Gerne-Stempel-Montierer bin hellauf begeistert! Da heißt es dann also nur noch: ausschneiden und loslegen!
Der Spruch ist übrigens aus dem selben Kit...

Und bei Whiff Of Joy dreht sich diese Woche alles um "Perlen und Schnörkel".

Das Motiv, das ich verwendet habe, ist "Willow mit heißer Schokolade", ein älterer Stempel von Whiff Of Joy, aber er ist so vielseitig einsetzbar.
Die Papiere sind von Laura Ashley, der Text der Teil eines Barcode-Stempels von Stampin´Up. Zum Colorieren habe ich Copics verwendet.

Das Motiv ist von Whiff Of Joy und es paßt so wunderbar zum "april showers always bring may flowers" Stempel von Studio G. Außerdem hat es die perfekte Größe für den Sketch. Über das Motiv habe ich eine Schicht UTEE gelegt um einen "wet look" zu kreieren. Auf dem Bild sieht es leider etwas fleckig aus...

And A Spoon Full Of Sugar´s new theme is "spring is in the air". Oh, if this could be true...LOL
The image is by Whiff Of Joy and it goes so well with this "april showers always bring may flowers" stamp by Studio G. And it also had the perfect size for this sketch. I´ve put some UTEE on top of the image to create some kind of wet look. Sorry, but on the pic it just looks speckled...

Diese Karte habe ich nach dem Sketch gemacht, den sich Tina46 für Stamp with Fun ausgedacht hat:

Und bei Copic Creations lautet die neue Aufgabe, unsere Embellishments mit Copics selbst zu colorieren. Außerdem hätten sie gerne eine Osterkarte.
Ich habe meine Blumen und den süßen Hasencharm mit Copics an die Farben meines Motives angepaßt. Auch die Möhren von LeLo Design sind natürlich ebenso wie das Motiv "Sitting Bunny Tilda" von Magnolia mit Copics coloriert.
Ich weiß, die Farben für meine Osterkarte sind nicht unbedingt oster-typisch... Aber bei so viel grau und Schnee draußen... Das macht es schwer, an Frühling zu denken!

And at Copic Creations they want us to custom color our embellishments using Copic Markers. They also would love to see an easter card.
I colored the flowers and the cute bunny charm with Copics to make it match my image. Also the cute carrots by LeLo Design and the image by Mangolia are colored with Copics.
I know, the colors I´ve used aren´t any typical easter colors - but we still have so much snow and grey colors outside... It was hard to think spring!

Diese Woche machen wir es Euch leicht bei Cupcake Craft - denn das Thema lautet "keep it simple". Wir hätten gerne "einfache" Karten, also ohne viele Lagen und Embellishments. Naja, so ganz kann ich dann doch nicht aus meiner Haut...LOL

That cute hedgehog image is one of the brand new images by Stampavie - those will not be available before march. My stamp is something extra special because JayJay brought it from CHA in America. So it arrived at my house after a long journey!

Schönen Valentinstags Euch allen!
Diese Karte habe ich für drei Challenges gemacht. Da wäre zum ersten Magnolia Down Under, die gerne Knöpfe, Schleifen und Blumen sehen möchten - jeweils eine genügt schon.
Bei Stempelträume heißt das Thema "drei Farben" - und da habe ich gleich die Farben von Sketchy Colors verwendet, die da heißen: hellgrün, dunkelgrün und rosa.

Heute starten wir mit der 13. Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins - und natürlich darf auch bei uns das Thema Valentinstag nicht ganz untergehen. Darum haben wir diesmal die Anleitung für diese süße und doch schnell gemachte Herztasche für Euch.

Whiff Of Joy # 66 und PaperPlay week 6/2010

Außerdem habe ich das Thema der neuen PaperPlay Challenge verwendet: "birthday for someone special". Da meine Große nächsten Dienstag 15 wird hatte ich da natürlich Bedarf.

I also included the new theme over at PaperPlay which is "birthday for someone special". Since my oldest daughter will be 15 next tuesday I really needed this card.

Das Motiv "Modische Willow" ist ein weiteres aus der neuen City Girl Kollektion von Whiff Of Joy - und es ist perfekt für jede Art von "Party-Karten". Außerdem erinnert es ich an "Aschenputtel", die ihren Schuh verliert... Das werde ich dann wohl auf einer der nächsten Karten umsetzen.

The image "modische Willow" is another one from the new City Girl Collection by Whiff Of Joy - and it is perfect for any kind of party cards. She also reminds me of Cinderella who´s loosing her shoe... This is an idea I´ll use for one of my next cards.

Und zu guter Letzt habe ich auch das Thema von Charisma Cardz eingebaut: "think male" - also eine "männliche Karte".

Das Motiv ist von Sugar Nellie. Ich finde, der Hund - oder auch Hase, ich bin mir mit meinen Kindern da nicht ganz einig - ist süß und paßt trotzdem wunderbar zu einer Männerkarte. Coloriert habe ich mit meinen Copics.
Die Brads habe ich mit meinem i-Top gemacht und die Pfoten, die mir JayJay geschenkt hat, sind doch ideal dafür!
Der kleine Tag und der Text darauf sind ebenso wie die gestanzte Bordüre von Stampin´Up, die Papiere von DCWV und My Mind´s Eye.

The image is by Sugar Nellie. I think this little dog - or even rabbit, me and my kids don´t think the same here - is so cute but even not too cute for a man´s card.
I used my Copics for coloring.
The brads are selfmade using my i-Top and these cute little paw stamp that JayJay gave to me are perfect for this card!
The little tag and the saying are by Stampin´Up, so is the punched border. Papers are by DCWV and My Mind´s Eye.

Belles´n´Whistles Mittwoch-Post

Ich bin wieder an der Reihe, den heutigen Post auf dem Belles´n´Whistles Blog zu machen. Und diesmal habe ich eine verzierte Mailbox für Euch... Es handelt sich um eine rote Metall-Mailbox, die ich von meiner lieben Rheannon letztes Jahr geschickt bekommen habe. Ich wußte, irgendwann kommt der perfekte Moment, sie zu benutzen. Meine Mädels sind momentan groß am Briefe schreiben, kleine liebe Botschaften an ihre besten Freunde. Und sie haben sich extra eine Box eingerichtet, sozusagen ihre ganz persönliche Mailbox. Und so kam mir die Idee.

It´s my turn to do today´s post at the Belles´n´Whistles blog. And today I have an altered mailbox for you... It´s one of those red metall mailbox tins you can get at Target - I got mine sent from my dear friend Rheannon last year and I knew there will be the perfect project to use it for. My girls are writing a lot of notes to their very best friends at the moment and made themselves little boxes to store those notes they get back. That´s how I got this idea.



Ich habe mal wieder einen Stempel aus der allerersten Kollektion von Belles´n´Whistles verwendet: Belle Sitting With Teddy. Sie schaut für mich genau so aus, als ob sie auf Post warten würde. Mit der Spitze an der Seite der Mailbox habe ich versuch, die Rüschen an Belle´s Bluse nachzuahmen.
Farblich habe ich mich ganz in rot, weiß und etwas grau bewegt. Sogar Belle´s Haare haben einen leichten Rotstich, weil ich ein kräftiges Rotbraun zum Colorieren verwendet habe.

I decided to use one of the stamps from the very first Belles´n´Whisltes collection again: Belle Sitting With Teddy. She seems to sit there, waiting for a love note to come in. I tried to make the lace on the end of the mailbox look a bit like the lace on Belle´s shirt.
I only used white, red and some grey for this project. Even Belle´s hair is red since I used a dark red-brown to color it.

Das hellgraue Papier habe ich mit der Cuttlebug und dem Script Folder embosst. Darüber habe ich etwas rote Distress Inks gegeben.
Der Friends-Stempel auf dem Fähnchen ist von Stampin´Up, genauso wie die Stanze mit dem Zweig und dem Vogel. Die Blumen sind alle von Prima und in der Mitte haben sie ein kleines Glitzersteinchen. Das gemusterte Papier auf der Klappe ist von DCWV, zum Colorieren habe ich Copics verwendet.

The light grey paper was embossed using the Cuttlebug and the Script folder. I added some red Distress Ink to make the embossed area to pop out a bit more.
The friends stamp on the wiper is by Stampin´Up, so is the punch I used for the branch and the bird. Flowers are by Prima and I added a little rhinestone to the center. The patterned paper on the opening side is by DCWV, I used Copics to color the image in.

Irgendwie hatte ich wohl eine Vorahnung - denn diese Woche ist auf dem Cuttlebugspot das Thema, eine Mailbox zu basteln oder verzieren. Ich wußte das vorher wirklich nicht!
Außerdem habe ich das Rezept von A Spoon Full Of Sugar verwendet: 1 Motivpapier, 1 x Embossing, 1 Knopf, 1 Band.


Somehow I must have had a special feeling because this week the theme over at the Cuttlebugspot is to create or alter a mailbox. I really didn´t know that before!
I also followed the recipe over at A Spoon Full Of Sugar: 1 patterned paper, 1 embossing, 1 button, 1 ribbon.

Stamptacular Sunday # 44 und Everybody Art # 78

Diesmal gibt es eine Valentinskarte in rosa und grau. Die Farbkombi ist so wunderschön edel und paßt damit wunderbar zu der elegant gekleideten Willow, die sich chic gemacht hat und nun bei einem Gläschen Champagner auf ihren Liebsten wartet.
Der Stempel heißt "Willow mit Champagnerglas" und ist aus der neuen City Girl Kollektion von Whiff Of Joy.
Dieser Stempel ist so vielseitig einsetzbar - nicht nur für verschiedene Gelegenheiten. Mir gefällt, daß Willow, je nachdem wie man sie coloriert, auch alterstechnisch variabel ist. Mit grauem Haar wird sie zu einer eleganten älteren Dame, mit blondem Haar ein junges Mädchen auf dem Abschlußball....

Today I have made a valentine´s card in grey and pink. This is such a elegant color combo and so it matches perfectly this elegant dressed Willow who dressed herself up and is now waiting for her date, having a little glass of champagne while waiting.
The stamp is called "Willow mit Champagnerglas" - Willow with glass of champagne - and is from the new City Girl collection by Whiff Of Joy.
This stamp can be used in so many different ways - and I am not only talking about different oportunitites. I love that, depending on the way you color her, she can also be made into a girl of any age. With grey hair she´ll be an elegant older lady, with blond her she´ll look like a young girl ready for her graduation ball...

Zum Colorieren habe ich Copics verwendet und im Hintergrund etwas von den nagelneuen Distress Inks von Tim Holtz aufgetragen. Neben den Blumen und dem Schmetterling habe ich Glitzersteine und einige silberfarbene Rub-Ons als Deko verwendet. Abgerundet wird das ganze dann noch mit silberglitzerndem Embossingpulver, das ich auf die Blumen und an die Ränder des Schmetterlinges aufgetragen habe.

I used Copics for coloring and added some of the brand new Tim Holtz Distress Inks around the image. Besides flowers and the butterfly I used some rhinestones and silver rub-ons to decorate the card. As a final touch I also added some sparkling silver embossing powder to the flowers and the edges of the butterfly.

Cupcake Craft # 77

Okay, das Thema, das Tammy für die neue Challenge bei Cupcake Craft Challenges ausgesucht hat, lautet "red and white all over", also nur rot und weiß auf der Karte verwenden. Da fällt meine Karte dann unter "klassische Thema-Verfehlung", oder? Naja, ich habe halt ein ganz zartes rot gewählt.... Okay, the theme Tammy picked for the new challenge over at Cupcake Craft is "red and white all over". So, my card seems to really not match this challenge, right? Can we say I used a very light red...? This week we are sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs and they gave the DT two images to choose frome. One of them was this beautiful bride. And a bright red really wouldn´t fit that image.

Stempeleinmaleins - Woche 12

Es ist Samstag - und somit Zeit für eine neue Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins! Diesmal haben wir Domi als Gastdesignerin und sie hat eine tolle Anleitung für eine Lichterkarte für uns geschrieben. Bei der Lichterkarte handelt es sich im Prinzip um eine Abwandlung der Shadow Box Karte...
Und so sieht die Karte beleuchtet aus (etwas schwer, das bei Tageslicht einzufangen):

It´s saturday - and so it´s also time for a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins! This week we have Domi as our guest designer and she wrote a great tutorial on how to make that "light card". This is some kind of a lightning shadow box card....

Ich habe "Happy Tilda" aus der neuen Kollektion von Magnolia verwendet. Der Spruch ist mit dem Computer geschrieben - er paßte einfach so schön zu der "leuchtenden" Karte. Das Herz ist mit einem Stanzer von Stampin´Up gestanzt - und zu der Idee mit den Federn hat mich der Sketch inspiriert.

I used "Happy Tilda" from Magnolia´s new collection. The saying is computer generated - it matches so wonderfully the lightning card. The heart is a punch by Stampin´Up - and the sketch inspired me to use some feathers as wings.

Daring Cardmakers, Copic Creations # 21, Copic Colour Challenge # 50 und Inspirationall Card Sketches # 52

Es ist Februar, das heißt, bei den Daring Cardmakers ist es Zeit, für die nächste "Geburtsstein-Challenge". Und diesmal ist es der Amethyst, der die Farbe lila hat. Und diesmal gibt es dort - ausnahmsweise - einen Preis zu gewinnen, der von Craft Obsessions gesponsort wird.

It´s february and so it´s time for another birthstone challenge over at Daring Cardmakers. And for february we have the amethyst which has a violett color. And they also have a price this week, sponsored by Craft Obsessions.

Und dann habe ich zwei - für mich - neue Copic Challenge Blogs entdeckt: Copic Colour Challenges und Copic Creations.
Bei Copic Colour Challenges ist die aktuelle Aufgabe, irgendwo die Farben E18, E 42 und E 77 zu verwenden - oder ähnliche, falls Du diese nicht hast. Ich habe E 18 in den Haaren, E 42 im Kleid und E 77 in den Schuhen und der Handtasche verwendet.
Und bei Copic Creations ist das Thema "feather blending", also die Farben nicht mit kreisenden Bewegungen, sondern mit kleinen Strichen miteinander zu verbinden. Es gibt dort 3 wunderbare Anleitungen - von einfach bis schwieriger. Ich habe mit Hilfe dieser Technik dem Oberteil eine Farbverlauf-Optik gegeben.

And then I discovered two new - at least for me - Copic Challenge blogs: Copic Colour Challenges and Copic Creations.
At Copic Colour Challenges the actuall dare is to use the colors E 18, E 42 and E 77 somewhere on your card - or similar ones if you don´t own these. I used E 18 in the hair, E 42 on the dress and E 77 on the shoes and the bag.
And Copic Creations wants us to do "feather blending" which means to blend the colors together with little feather strokes instead circle motions. They have 3 great tutorials - from easy to advanced - posted. I used this technique on the dress to blend from violett to light brown.

Das tolle Motiv ist von Whiff of Joy - aus der neuen City Girl Collection, die es seit Donnerstag zu bestellen gibt. Ich finde, das Motiv ist perfekt für eine Einladung zu einer "Mädels-Party-Nacht". Das denkt auch meine Große und so wird diese Karte bald als Geburtstagsgeschenk an ihre beste Freundin gehen...
Auf der Perlenkette habe ich Liquid Pearls verwendet und um dem Kleid noch den richtigen Disco-Look zu geben, habe ich darauf klares Embossingpulver, das mit Glitzerpartikeln angereichert ist, verteilt. Wenn Ihr auf das Bild klickt, könnt Ihr diesen Effekt etwas sehen, aber in echt glitzert das Kleid total toll!

This great image is by Whiff Of Joy - from the new City Girl Collection which can be ordered since thursday. I think, this image is perfect for a girls night invitation. And so thinks my oldest daughter which means that this card will go to her very best friend as a birthday gift...
I used Liquid Pearls on the necklace and to add the perfect disco touch to the image I covered it with clear embossing powder that has tiny glitter pieces in it. If you enlarge the pic by clicking on it you´ll get an idea of how it sparkles but you should see it in real life! If you move the card the dress is sparkling so wonderful!

Friday Sketchers # 88, Stamp Something und Stampin For The Weekend

Bei Stamp Something heißt es diesmal "love something" - und das Thema ist Valentinstag.
Und auch bei Stampin For The Weekend heißt das neue Thema "love is in the air - Valentine´s". Ideal, um einen weiteren der neuen Magnolia Stempel zu verwenden. Diesmal "Tilda writing Diary" - und im Hintergrund den "Valentine Letter" - ein großer Stempel, der wie ein handgeschriebener Brief aussieht.
Der "Text" ist von Stampin´Up, die Papiere von K&Company und DCWV. Die weiße Spitze habe ich mit grüner Distress Ink eingefärbt, das Motiv ist mit Copics coloriert.

At Stamp Something the new theme is "love something" and of course it´s valentine´s related.
And at Stampin For The Weekend they have "love is in the air - valentine´s" chosen as theme of their new challenge also. Perfect to use another of the new Magnolia stamps. Here I used "Tilda writing Diary" - and for the background "Valentine Letter" - a big stamp looking like a handwritten letter.
The "saying" is by Stampin´Up, papers by K&Company and DCWV. I colored the formally white lace with green distress ink, the image is colored with Copics.

Außerdem habe ich das neue Thema bei Cute Card Thursday eingebaut: spots and dots. Und die Farbkombi von Stampavie and More, die da ist braun und pink, ist auch verwendet.

Das Motiv ist von Whiff Of Joy, der Text aus einem alten Tag-Set von Stampin´Up, die Papiere kleine Rest von verschiedenen Herstellern. Die Flügel habe ich mit Stickles zum Glitzern gebracht.

The image is by Whiff Of Joy, the saying is from an older tag set by Stampin´Up, the papers are left overs from different brands. I used Stickles to add some bling on the wings.

A Spoon Full Of Sugar # 89

Dies ist meine erste Karte als Gastdesignerin für Whiff Of Joy. Gestern kam mein Paket mit den wunderbaren Stempeln aus der "City Girl" Kollektion an und es war wirklich hart sich zu entscheiden, welchen der Stempel ich als erstes verwende! Aber dann ist die Wahl auf "Shopping Willow" gefallen - einfach weil sie so schön typisch frau ist, die natürlich immer nur das nötigste kauft!

This is my very first card as a guest designer for Whiff Of Joy. My DT package arrived yesterday and it contained all the awesome stamps from the "City Girl" collection. I can tell you, it was so hard to decide which stamp to use first! But then I decided to go with "Shopping Willow" just because she is so girly, and of course only buying things absolutly necessary!

I made this card following the sketch over at A Spoon Full Of Sugar:



Ich habe Willow mit Copics coloriert und anschließend mit einer Schicht Glossy Accents überzogen, das verleiht dem Motiv so eine schöne Dreidimensionalität. Als Dekoration habe ich neben Blumen und Bordüre noch ein paar echte Kassenzettel eingescannt und verkleinert ausgedruckt. Anschließend habe ich sie mit Distress Inks etwas auf alt getrimmt. Der Barcode-Spruch ist ein Teil eines sehr alten Stampin´Up Stempelsets.

I colored Willow with Copics and covered her with a layer of Glossy Accents which adds a wonderful 3D effect. As a decoration I used - beside flowers and laces - some real recipes that I scanned and printed smaller than the original size. I then put some Distress Inks on them to make them match the color scheme on my card. The barcode saying is a part of a very old Stampin´Up stamp set.

A Tasty Read

Elisabeth Bell bringt heute ihren zweiten Digi Stamp heraus - und hat uns vom Belles´n´Whistles DT gefragt, ob wir zu diesem Anlaß nicht eine Karte machen möchten. Möchten? Aber klar, wer würde dieses traumhafte Motiv nicht gerne verwenden wollen?! Außerdem fühlen wir uns natürlich geehrt, eine der ersten sein zu dürfen, die dieses süße Motiv verwenden dürfen. Der Stempel heißt "A Tasty Read".

Elisabeth Bell is releasing her second digi stamp - and she asked us from the Belles´n´Whistles DT if we want to make a card for that special event. If we want to? Who wouldn´t?! And we also feel totally honored to be one of the firsts using this cute image. It is calle "A Tasty Read".



Ich bin - und war schon immer - eine große Leseratte. Und wieder einmal schafft es Elisabeth, ein Stück meiner eigenen Kindheit auf Papier zu bringen.

I do - and ever did - love to read. And once again Elisabeth made it to bring some of my happiest memories to paper.
