Wie jede Woche startet heute eine neue Challenge bei Stamps&Fun=Creativity und unser Thema diesmal lautet Winter.

As every week there is a new challenge starting at Stamps&Fun=Creativity also this monday. And our theme for this challenge is winter.

Ich habe gerade meine neuen Stempel von Whimsy Stamps bekommen - und Mistletoe habe ich sofort einweihen müssen. Mal sehen, wer die bekommt... ;) Der Text "wanna be my Santa Claus" ist mit dem Computer geschrieben.

I just got my new Whimsy Stamps stamps - and just had to ink up Mistletoe right away. Well, let's see who'll get this one... ;) The saying "wanna be my Santa Claus" is computer generated.

Und nochmal Hallo! Auch bei Belles'n'Whistles gibt es ab heute eine neue Challenge und unser Thema für die nächsten beiden Wochen lautet "your favourite Elisabeth Bell stamp". Zeigt uns also eine Karte mit Eurem Lieblingsstempel von Elisabeth Bell. Wie Ihr wißt müßt Ihr keinen BnW-Stempel benutzen um an unserer Challenge teilzunehmen. Die Marke ist egal, solange der Stempel von Elisabeth Bell designed wurde.

And hello again! Also at Belles'n'Whistles we have a new challenge going on today and our theme for the next two weeks is "your favourite Elisabeth Bell stamp". As you know, you don't have to use a BnW image to join us so any brand is good as long as the stamp was designed by Elisabeth Bell.

Ich habe hier den Weihnachtsbaum zusammen mit einem der Sweet Art Girls II verwendet und eine kleine Weihnachtsszene gemacht. Die Christbaumkugeln glitzern und auch um das Motiv habe ich einen Glitzerrand gesetzt.

I used the christmas tree with one of the new Sweet Art Girls II to create this little christmas scene. The baubles are glittered and also around the image there is glitter put on.

Belles'n'Whistles Challegen "so girly"

Hallo nochmal! Hier bin ich schon wieder - denn auch bei Belles'n'Whistles gibt es eine neue Challenge für Euch. Das Thema durfte diesmal ich auswählen - und ich habe mich für "so girly" entschieden. Na, das dürfte mit den süßen Motiven von Elisabeth Bell ja eine Leichtigkeit sein, oder?

Hello again - here I am back because also at Belles'n'Whistles we have a new challenge starting today. It was my turn to pick the theme and I went with "so girly". This should really be an easy one with all those wonderful images Elisabeth Bell creates, right?

Ich habe mich für Little Friend entschieden. Allerdings habe ich das Vogelhaus nicht mitgestempelt und stattdessen einen Heißluftballon an "den Himmel" gesetzt. So ist diese Motiv wirklich vielseitig einsetzbar. Der Ballon ist von Stampin' Up und mit Paper Piecing gestaltet.

I used Little Friend here but I didn't stamp the birdhouse but put a balloon "in the sky". You see that this image can be used in so many different ways. The balloon is by Stampin' Up and I did some paper piecing on it.

Belles´n´Whistles Challenge "complimentary colors"

Und nochmal hallo - denn heute gibt es auch bei Belles´n´Whistles eine neue Challenge für Euch. Komplimentär-Farben sollen es sein, also auf Farben, die sich auf einem Farbrad gegenüber liegen. Ich habe mich für blau-gelb entschieden.

Hello again - because we also have a new challenge over at Belles´n´Whistles starting today. Complimentary colors is the theme, meaning colors that are on the oposite sides of a color wheel. I went with blue and yellow.

Ich habe hier zwei Stempel verwendet: Goggles und Tube Wear. Als wir vom DT damals die Stempel gesehen haben, hatte Lynda die Idee einen Frosch auf den Rand des Pools zu setzen. Aber bisher hatte keiner die Idee umgesetzt - und mich hatte sie nie losgelassen. Der Frosch sitzt zwar nicht auf dem Rand des Pools, aber zumindest auf dem Weg dorthin.... Die Papiere sind von DCWV, die Wolke wieder das neue Die von Magnolia.

I used two stamps here: Goggles and Tube Wear. When we as the DT saw these stamps for the first time Lynda came up with the idea of putting a little frog on the pool. No one of us did it - but I couldn´t stop thinking of it. So now the little frog isn´t sitting on the pool but at least on the way there.... Papers are by DCWV, the big cloud is again the new die by Magnolia.

Es ist wieder Montag, eine neue Woche startet und natürlich startet sie mit einer neuen Challenge bei Stamps&Fun=Creativity. Diesmal mit einem Sketch:

It´s monday again, a new week starts and of course it starts with a new challenge over at Stamps&Fun=Creativity. This week we have a sketch for you:


Ich habe mich für eine Muttertagskarte entschieden, denn ich wollte unbedingt einen meiner neuen Siegelstempel ausprobieren. Ich arbeite derzeit an noch mehr Designs, aber der Muttertagsstempel gefällt mir super gut. In der Mitte ist ein Gedicht, das jedes meiner Mädels in der Schule gelernt hat und da sicher viele von Euch ebenfalls kennen.
Das Motiv habe ich aus verschiedenen Belles´n´Whistles Stempeln zusammengesetzt: der Puppe aus diesem Set, Mommy´s Little Helper und dem Hocker, der ein Teil des Stempels Mmmh, yes please! ist.

I made a mother´s day card because I wanted to try one of my new seal stamps. I am working on more designs at the moment but really love this one. In the middle you can find a little saying that each of my girls learned at school and that for sure most german mothers know.
The image was put together using different stamps from Belles´n´Whistles: the doll and Mommy´s Little Helper (both from the Changeabelles Collection) and the seat which is a part of the Mmmh, yes please! stamp.

Ich dachte mir, ich teile meine gliebten Schoko-Mint-Bonbons mit Euch - und nachdem Ihr sie nur ansehen könnt (und das nicht nur weil ich sie schon alle gegessen habe!LOL) habe ich eine Box gemacht, in der die Bonbons unterkommen. Dafür habe ich das "Hippie Chick" verwendet so daß Ihr zumindest etwas süßes zum Ansehen habt. Tut mir leid, daß die Bilder so dunkel sind, aber bei dem Regen draußen hat das Tageslicht keine Chance.

I thought I´d share my beloved chocolat mint candies with you today.And since you can only watch them here (also because I ate them all LOL)I made a box using the "Hippie Chick" cutie so you have at least something sweet to look at. I am sorry that the pics are so dark but there´s like no daylight with all those clouds out there...

Meine Box paßt prima zur Monochrome-Challenge bei Just Add Ink.

Bei Totally Papercrafts lautet das Thema "happy birthday" und so ein kleines Geschenk paßt doch immer. Ich glaube nur, ich esse die restlichen Bonbons auch noch und fülle die Box mit einem "richtigen" Geschenk.

At Totally Papercrafts the theme is "happy birthday" and such a little gift is always perfect. I just think I will eat also those candies and fill the box with a "real" gift.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 13. November 2010 und eine Gewinnerin

Es ist schon wieder Samstag - Zeit für das Stempeleinmaleins! Diesmal haben wir eine Gastdesignerin: Norma - und sie hat das Tutorial für diese wunderbare Laternenbox zur Verfügung gestellt.

Another saturday has come - and so it´s time for our weekly issue of Stempeleinmaleins! We have another guest designer this week: Norma - and she is sharing her tutorial for this wonderful lantern box with us.

Die Anleitung sieht im ersten Moment etwas kompliziert aus, aber sie ist so toll beschrieben daß es wirklich ganz einfach war, sie nachzubasteln.

The instructions look a bit intimidating at the first sight but Norma did such a good job on writing down the step by step instrucions that it is really easy to make your own box.

Und hier ist die andere Seite - die übrigen zwei Seiten sind mit dem üblichen "Laternenkreuz" und Folie gemacht, so daß es echt wie eine Laterne aussieht und man einen kleinen Blick auf den Inhalt erhaschen kann:

And this is the other side - the remaining two sides are made from a X-shape and closed with transparency so it looks like a real lantern und you can have a peek at what´s inside:


Ich hatte das Glück eines der Weihnachts-Kits von Hänglar zu ergattern und die Stempel kamen genau im richtigen Moment, um meine Laterne damit zu schmücken. Die Wimpel-Kette und die Nikolaus-Socke sind, ebenso wie die Ilex-Blätter auf dem "Dach" - mit Stoff von Stampin´Up überzogen.
Die Papiere sind aus dem Joyful Peace Stack von GCD.

I was lucky enough to grab one of those x-mas 1 kits by Hänglar and the stamps arrived right in time to decorate my lantern with them. The banner and the stocking are - as well as the holly leaves on top of the box - covered with fabric by Stampin´Up. Papers are from GCD´s Joyful Peace stack.

They do not only have a great prize for their birthday challenge but also a blog hop. Unfortunately I didn´t have the time yet to hop around in blog land but I will for sure do so during the weekend!

Bei Just Add Ink gibt es die Farbvorgabe: kiwi, schokobraun und banane. Ich kann mich nicht wehren, aber das klingt verdammt lecker nach Schoko-Obst-Spießen!LOL

At Just Add Ink they have the color combo of kiwi, chocolate and barely banana for us. Hmm, that sounds so yummy and makes me want some chocolate covered fruits!LOL
