Juli-Challenge bei Stamping-Fairies

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Hello everyone!
Yes, I am back! I already posted yesterday that I haven't done nothing during those last 1,5 months and I will make some posts the coming days sharing what I've been up to. But I want to re-start my blog with the card I made for the new july challenge over in the FB-group of Stamping-Fairies. Our theme is "insects". Okay, it might sound a bit strange first but once you start thinking about it you'll realize that this is an very open and summer-ish theme. Cut or non cute, bugs, butterflies.... I guess we all have a stamp matching that theme in our stash.

I've used a piece of white cardstock and inked it up with Distress Ink Tumbled Glass. Then I've added a few drops of water to it and cut 3 different sizes of the Hexagon dies by MFT.
The images are inside those windows. They are the cute bees from the Just Bee-Cause stamp set. They are sitting on a background for which I've heat embossed the Honeycomb Background stamp onto white cardstock with white embossing powder and then colored the cardstock in with Distress Ink Wild Honey. The bees are cut out individually and glued onto the background.
Then I used dimensional tape to put the honeycomb and the blue background together and used some black cardstock for some matting
The clouds are cut out individually and glued onto the card front, overlapping a bit with the cut out hexagons.
To finish this card I've added the saying and some white Enamel Accents.
