Nach einem Tag Pause möchten wir Euch heute den letzten Stempel aus der neuen Reihe vorstellen: Water Lily. 

After a day of pause we want to present you the last stamp of this new release today: Water Lily.

Diesmal hat sich die kleine Meerjungfrau an die Oberfläche getraut und genießt die warmen Sonnenstrahlen und den Duft der Seerosen.

Pink war meine erste Wahl - schon allein wegen der Seerosen... Und so sind auch Papiere und Embellishments, neben etwas weiß und blau und braun, hauptsächlich pink ausgefallen.

Und natürlich durften Glitzer und Perlen auch diesmal nicht fehlen.

Today the little mermaid took a trip out of the water and is now enjoying the warm sun and the smell of the water lillies.

Pink was my first choice of color here - also because of the water lilies. And so also my papers and embellishments are mainly pink, beside some white and blue and brown.

And of course glitter and pearls were a must also here.

Ich habe hier die Autumn Tilda with Pencils aus der neuesten Kollektion verwendet und eine Schulanfangskarte gemacht. Dafür habe ich nur Papiere mit Buchstaben oder Zahlen darauf benutzt. Für den Kontrast habe ich schwarzen Cardstock zum Matten verwendet.

I went with cute Autumn Tilda with Pencils from Magnolia's newest collectionhere and made a back to school card. I only used papers with letters or numbers on for this card and to add some contrast I went with black cardstock for the matting.

Cute Card Thursday - gardener's world

Einen schönen Donnerstag Euch allen!

Wie jede Woche gibt es auch heute eine neue Challenge bei Cute Card Thursday. Und diesmal dreht sich alles um den Garten - "gardener's world". 

A very happy thursday to all of you!

As every week there is a new challenge starting over at Cute Card Thursday also today. And this time it's all about our gardens - "gardener's world" is our new theme.

Es gibt ja viele süße Motive mit Blumen oder Figuren im Gras, aber der erste Stempel, der mir zu diesem Thema in den Sinn gekommen ist, ist der "Du hast einen grünen Daumen"-Henry. Denn das ist wirklich das perfekte Motiv für einen Gärtner.

Naja, durch die Tomaten waren die Farben grün und rot ja quasi vorgegeben - und bei den beiden bin ich dann geblieben. Das satte, dunkle Grün mit weiß, grau und dem Hauch rot finde ich prima.

There are a lot of cute images showing flowers or people/animals in the grass but the first stamp that came to my mind when I read the theme was "You have green fingers"-Henry. He's really the perfect image for any gardener.

Because of the tomatoes the colors of red and green were given - and I sticked to those. I really love this dark green  with the white and grey and hint of red.

Hello dear ones!
There is a new challenge at The Sketchy Challenge - and this is our new sketch:

Ich habe danach eine Karte zur goldenen Konfirmation meiner Mutter gemacht. Sie liebt Sarah Kay und darum habe ich dieses Motiv gewählt, dem Anlass passend mit einem goldenen Kleid coloriert. Dafür habe ich neben Copics noch goldfarbenen Spica Pen darüber gegeben. Und die Kombination mit blau und weiß hat mir prima gefallen.
Für den Spruch habe ich den Konfirmations-Siegelstempel umgewandelt.

I used it to make a card for my mom's golden confirmation. She adores Sarah Kay and that's why I picked this image. Making it match the occasion I colored her dress in gold. Therefor I did not only use Copics but also some golden Spica Pen. And I liked the combination of gold with blue and white.

Heute haben wir für Euch die Anleitung für eine 6-Eck-Box.

Happy saturday and welcome to a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins!
This week we are sharing a tutorial for how to make this little box.

Ich habe meine Box in rosa, weiß und braun gestaltet und neben dem Herzchen-Papier von Magnolia noch einen Zaun und etwas weißes Gras hinzugefügt.
Das Motiv ist von Tiddly Ink und um das ganze passend für die Übergebende zu machen habe ich diesen kleinen Hund dazu gesetzt. Auf das Kleid habe ich kleine Blümchen gemalt.

I used pink, white and brown for my box and beside the Magnolia paper with the little hearts I used a fence and some white "grass" ass decoration.
The image is by Tiddly Ink and to make it match with the one who will give this box out I added that little dog. On the dress I painted little flowers.

Zum Verschließen der Box habe ich eine große weiße Schleife genommen, die ich dann mit einem Herz-Charm, einer Rose und einem Tag verziert habe. Auf dem Tag steht "Wie schön dass es Dich gibt", zusammen mit dem Rahmen ist der Stempel aus dem neuen Set "Deutsche Texte" von Whiff Of Joy.

To close the box I used a big white bow that I decorated with a heart charm, a rose and a tag. The tag is made using two stamps from Whiff Of Joy: the frame and the saying.

Ich habe hier seit langem mal wieder eines der süßen Motive von Hänglar benutzt. Ach, irgendwie hat man viel zu viele Stempel um allen gerecht zu werden...

Viel Deko braucht es für das Double Basket gar nicht, etwas Papier, ein Motiv und ein, zwei Blümchen reichen schon. Der Text ist von Stampin'Up.

Since a very long time I used one of the cute Hanglar images again. Well, I guess I have too many stamps to use them all as often as I should...

You don't need a lot of differente decorations for this double basket - some designer's paper, a stamped image and one or two flowers are enough. Saying is by Stampin'Up.

Ich habe meine Tasche aus doppelseitigem Papier gemacht und mit einer Mini-Tilda dekoriert. Innen befindet sich noch ein Text von Stampin' Up - und auf diesen Bildern könnt Ihr auch die kleine Box erkennen:

Für mein heutiges Projekt habe ich keine Karte, sondern einen Hänger in Form einer großen Rosette gemacht. Und das süße Oster-/Frühlingsmotiv, das ich Euch präsentieren darf, ist

For my project today I didn't make a card but a big paper rosette. And the cute easter/spring image I am proud to present you is

Daffodil Pip.

Passend zur frühlingshaften Coloration des Motives habe ich auch für die Rosette gelb, grün und weiß gewählt. Die Rosette misst stolze 30cm im Durchmesser. Da ich sie an die Tür hänge wollte ich sie nicht überladen, damit nichts abfallen kann oder die Deko zu schwer wird.
Die Buchstaben sind ausgestanzt und mit ein paar kleinen Glitzersteinchen verziert.

Matching my spring-ish coloring of this cutie I also went with yellow, green and white for the rosette. It is 30 cm in diameter. Since I plan to hang it on a door I didn't want to add too many embellishments so the whole thing isn't getting to heavy or the embellishments may come off due to their weight.
The letter were cut with a cutting die and I added a few little rhinestones to them.

Heute gibt es wieder eine Karte von mir - einfach so und mit einem älteren, aber wunderschönen Stempel von Sugar Nellie: Faraway Thoughts (momentan sogar reduziert im Angebot zu bekommen).

Hello dear ones!

Today I have a card to share - just because and using an older but wonderful stamp by Sugar Nellie: Faraway Thoughts (and at the moment this one is on offer at Funkykits!).

Ich habe für meine Karte den Sketch aus dem Sugar Bowl verwendet und auch die Option "kraft" umgesetzt. Dazu habe ich das Motiv auf kraftfarbenen Cardstock gestempelt, was prima zum Design paßt. Die Stanze von Magnolia erinnerte mich an Wellen... Der Text ist mit dem Computer geschrieben. Als Deko habe ich 2 der kleinen 3D-Sternchen gefaltet.

I used the sketch from the Sugarbowl Challenge here and also included the optional extra of "kraft". Therefor I stamped the image on kraft cardstock which is great with the designs of the stamp. The die from Magnolia reminded me of waves..., saying is computer generated. As decoration I made 2 of those cute 3d stars.

Zur Feier des Tages gibt es eine Valentinskarte in nicht ganz so klassischen Valentinstagsfarben für Euch...

Happy Valentine's day everyone!
Today I have  valentine's card to share that is not made using the typical colors of red, white and pink...

Okay, ganz ehrlich - ich konnte diese Farbkombi einfach nicht mehr sehen. Dafür kam diesmal die Copic-RV-Gruppe zum Einsatz. Ich glaube, ich kann an einer Hand abzählen, wie oft ich die verwendet habe... Dabei macht sie sich echt prima, vor allem in Kombi mit blau (schließlich darf es bei mir ja nicht zu bunt werden).

Okay, to be honest - I was so sick of this color combo... Instead I used my Copics RV colors here. I really only used these a few times so far. But it looks great and I like it to be combined with blues (well, you know me, I don't do bright colors or color combos too often).

Ich habe hier eines der süßen Simply Sassy Motive von Sugar Nellie verwendet: Call Me. Oh, das Motiv ist so wunderbar für Teenie-Karten - nicht nur für Valentin oder liebesbezogen. Ich glaube, jeder erinnert sich an Stunden, die man mit der besten Freundin am Telefon gehangen hat... (am besten werden sich wohl unsere Väter daran erinnern, oder?).
Ich habe hier den Text "ich denke an Dich" - 24 Stunden am Tag, 7 Tage die Woche auf die Karte gebracht. Man in Deutsch hätte das wohl nie auf die Karte gepaßt. LOL

I used one of the cute Simply Sassy images by Sugar Nellie: Call Me. This image is so wonderful for teen's card - not only for valentine's or love related. I guess all of us remember those hours we hang on the phone with our best friends... (most of us our dads will remember, don't they?).
I added the text of "thinking of you - 24/7" to the card.

Hallo Ihr Lieben - und herzlich willkommen zu unserer neuen Challenge beim Stempeleinmaleins. Schließlich ist der letzte Samstag im Monat - und darum haben wir einen neuen Sketch für Euch:

Hello dear ones - and welcome to a new challenge at Stempeleinmaleins. It's the last saturday of the month and so we have this sketch up for you:

 

Außerdem lautet die Option dieses Mal "Weihnachten".

And the optional extra of this challenge is "christmas".

Ich habe eines der Motive von Sugar Nellie verwendet - der Engel ist so vielseitig einsetzbar und ich finde ihn traumhaft. Außerdem paßt er wunderbar zu den einmalig schönen Papiere von Papercraft Scandinavia. Die warmen, dunklen Rottöne und dazu das beige - ein Traum und vom Design her genau das Meine.

Auf einen Text habe ich heute mal verzichtet, egal wo ich ihn platzieren wollte, er störte irgendwie nur den friedlichen Eindruck....

I used one of the images by Sugar Nellie - this angel can be used in so many different ways and I just love it. And it also is perfect to be used with the beautiful papers by Papercraft Scandinavia. The dark and warm reds and that beige - just wonderful and the design is exactly what I love.

I didn't add a saying here - no matter where I placed it it just didn't look good anywhere.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 12. November 2011

Natürlich gibt es auch heute eine neue Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins und nachdem die Adventszeit nicht mehr weit entfernt ist, haben wir Miri als Gastdesignerin mit Ihrer Idee für einen Adventskranz to go.

Of course there is a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins today and since christmas time isn't far away anymore we have Miri as a guest designer today. She is sharing her idea of an advent wreath to go.

Er besteht eigentlich aus einer Box, in der sich 4 Teelichter befinden. Praktisch für die Handtasche und somit Weihnachtsfeeling, egal wo man ist.
Ich habe die Box in eine Easelcard geklebt - befestigt mit Klettband-Punkten. Auf die Unterseite der Teelichter habe ich auch Klett angebracht und so können die Kerzen sicher an den Stellen platziert werden, an denen vorher die Box saß.

The advent wreath to go is a box that holds 4 tea lights. It's great to carry with you and so you'll a little christmas feeling with no matter where you are.
I fixed the box into an easel card and used velcro dots to fix it. I also put some velcro on the bottom of the tea lights so you can remove the box and fix the tea lights at the place the box has been sitting before.

Die Oberseite der Easel Card ist mit einem Motiv von Lili of the Valley dekoriert. Ich habe absichtlich nur flache Embellishments verwendet, denn ich habe den Falz der Easel Card so gemacht, dass sie nicht unbedingt aufgestellt werden muß sondern auch nach hinten unter den "Adventskranz" geklappt werden kann.
Bei mir im Supermarkt habe ich weinrote Teelichter bekommen, die einen wunderbar frostigen Look haben. Außerdem sind sie in durchsichtigen Töpfchen und zweischichtig eingefüllt... Ich habe zudem noch eine Bordüre aus weißem Papier darum gesetzt, um den Klettpunkt zu verdecken.
Und da die Farbe der Teelichter gegeben war, habe ich für die weihnachtliche Kombo noch weiß, gold und etwas kraft kombiniert.
So sieht die Vorderseite aus:

The top of the easel card is decorated with an image by Lili of the Valley. I only picked flat stuff to embellish because the fold of the easel card is constructed in a way that you don't have to put it up like you normally do but also can flap it backwards and under the bottom of the card. All you see then is the advent wreath.
In my grocery store I was able to find some burgundy red tea lights that have a wonderful icey look. They also come in a acrylic pot and are layered in 2 different colors.... I also wrapped a border from white paper around the bottom so the velcro dot is hidden.
And since the color red was given by the candles I added some white and gold and craft for the christmassy color combo.

Hello dear ones! It's time for a new challenge over at Pink Ink Sketches - and this is the sketch for the next two weeks:

In dem Moment, in dem ich das Digi von Mo Manning das erste Mail gesehen habe, habe ich mich sofort in den Engel verliebt. Er hat alles, was ich liebe: Nostalgie, große Flügel, Winter.... Jetzt ist er auf dieser Karte gelandet und steht neben der Laterne im Winterwind während die Schneeflocke um ihn herum tanzen. Und sorry, aber für mich gab es hier nichts anderes als eine Braunkombi.LOL

From the moment I first saw this digi by Mo Manning I fell in love with this angel. There's everything I love: nostalgia, big wings, winter... Now he landed on this card and is standing in the winter wind next to a lantern while those snowflakes are dancing around him. And sorry, but a brown combo was the only thing I wanted to use here.LOL
