Wunderschönen Samstag!
Heute gibt es eine neue Challenge für Euch beim Stempeleinmaleins - und dann gehen wir erstmal in einen wohlverdienten Urlaub. Weiter geht es dann erst mit der August-Challenge, die dann ein klein wenig verspätet am 1. September starten wird.
Aber hier erstmal unser neuer Sketch:

Today we at Stempeleinmaleins have a new challenge up for you - and then we will have a little summer break. We will go on with our august challenge that will start a little delayed on september 1st.
But here is our new sketch:

In der Arbeit meines Mannes brauchten sie eine Baby-Karte. Klar, dass es eine Mädchen-Karte sein mußte, wo ich doch lauter Jungskarten hier auf Vorrat habe. ;)
Ich habe hier das süße Motiv Sweet Dreams von Belles'n'Whistles verwendet.
Die Papiere sind von Magnolia, die Buchstaben-Perlen und die Body-Stanze von Whiff Of Joy. Und auch etwas Glitzer durfte nicht fehlen.

At my husband's work they needed a baby card. Of course it had to be a girly one - since I have tons of boys ones laying around. ;)
I used the cute image Sweet Dreams by Belles'n'Whistles.
Papers are by Magnolia, letter pearls and onesie die are by Whiff Of Joy. And of course I had to add a bit of glitter as well.

Dieses Grinsen und die Sommersprossen... einfach zu süß!

Ich habe das Motiv mit Copics coloriert und die Flügel ordentlich mit Stickles überzogen. Und zu den süßen Sommersprossen mußten die Haare einfach rot werden!

That smile and those freckles... just too cute!

I colored the image with Copics and put Stickles on her wings. And with those freckles her hair just had to be red!

Da ich beim Colorieren für mich farblich ganz andere Wege als sonst gegangen bin, tat ich mich erst etwas schwer mit den Farben für die Karte. Aber dann habe ich mich entschieden, das grün und blau aus dem Motiv aufzugreifen und somit ist eine Karte entstanden, die mich an grünes Sommergras und den blauen Sommerhimmel erinnert. Perfekt für das süße Motiv. 

Since I used quite some different colors for my coloring than I usually do I wasn't sure which colors to use for my papers. But then I decided to go with green and blue and so I ended up with a card reminding me of green summer grass and the blue summer sky. And that's just perfect for this cute image.

Hallo!

Ich weiß ja nicht, wie es bei Euch aussieht - aber bei uns ist alles weiß und eiskalt. Und ganz ehrlich - jetzt hätte ich den Winter auch nicht mehr unbedingt gebraucht. Und darum kämpfe ich mit meiner Karte für unsere neue Challenge bei Stamps&Fun=Creativity gegen den Winter an. Tiere und blau lautet unser neues Thema und nach dieser Vorgabe habe ich eine Frühlingskarte gemacht.

I don't know how the weather is in your area but here in the north of Bavaria we got snow and it's freezing cold outside. To be honest - winter would have been great in december but now... And so I am fighting against the winter weather outside with my card for our new challenge at Stamps&Fun=Creativity. Animals and blue - this is what we want to see.

Ehrlich gesagt, Tiermotive sind nicht so das meine. Aber dann kamen diese süßen neuen Stempel von Forever Friends "Easter Treats" - und die mußte ich probieren!

Die Papiere sind fast alle aus meinem Restebestand, außerdem habe ich die Wolke, das Gras und den Zaun von Magnolia mit auf der Karte verwendet. Der Text ist von Studio G.

Well, I always struggle with those animal stamps so I rarely use them. But then I got these cute stamps by Forever Friends - and I just had to put them on a card!

Most of the papers are left overs from old stacks, I also used the cloud, the grass and the fence dies by Magnolia here. Saying is by Studio G.

Wunderschönen Dienstag Ihr Lieben! Gestern habe ich auf dem Copic Marker Europe Blog gezeigt, wie man Goldtöne mit Copics coloriert. Das Tutorial findet Ihr hier - aber meine Karte möchte ich Euch auch nicht vorenthalten.

Happy tuesday! Yesterday I shared at the Copic Marker Europe Blog how to color goldtones with your Copics. You can find the tutorial here - but of course I want to share my card here too.

Ich habe hier "Star of Bethlehem" von Belles'n'Whistles verwendet. Es ist schon ein älteres Motiv aber ich verwende es immer wieder gerne. Und die Goldtöne kommen hier besonders schön zur Geltunge. Dazu habe ich dann ein wenig Glimmer-Cardstock benutzt, um die Karte mit dem Motiv zusammenzubringen, es aber nicht zu übertönen. Die Papiere sind von Magnolia, der Text von Whiff Of Joy.

I used "Star of Bethlehem" by Belles'n'Whistles here. It's an older image but I love to use it again and again. And those gold tones can be shown off here wonderfully. I added some glimmer cardstock to bring the image and the card together but not take the attention from the image. Papers are by Magnolia, saying by Whiff Of Joy.

Von dem Moment, an dem ich diesen süßen Wichtel in den Händen hielt, wußte ich, daß ich ihn für die Blog Hop Karte verwenden möchte. Ich finde ihn einfach zu süß - und statt des Herzens hat er auf meiner Karte eine Wagenladung guter Wünsche in Form von grünen Blumen, die - wie ich finde - fast wie Kleeblätter aussehen. Passend dazu habe ich dann die große grüne Blüte dazu kombiniert.

From the moment I first held this cute gnome in my hands I knew I would use it for my blog hop card. He´s just too cute - and instead of the heart mine has filled his cart with loads of good wishes. Well, these are green flowers and I think they look a bit like clovers. Matching these I also used a big green flower.

"Ein bißchen grün" ist das Thema bei Creative Card Crew. Es ist nur ein bißchen, aber genau dadurch fällt es auf, oder?

"Use some green" is what they want us to do over at Creative Card Crew. It´s just a little, but that makes it pop out even more, right?

Whiff Of Joy # 99

Schönen Mittwoch Morgen Euch allen! Sobald die Sonne rauskommt, sieht alles doch schon sehr nach Frühling aus - genau wie meine Karte für die neue Challenge bei Whiff Of Joy! Unser Thema lautet "blooms and buttons" - Blüten und Knöpfe. Gut, Knöpfe findet Ihr auf meiner Karte nur in der Einzahl, dafür aber um so mehr Blüten.

Happy wednesday morning! As soon as the sun is shining everything outside is looking a lot like spring - and so does my card for the new challenge over at Whiff Of Joy! Our theme is "blooms and buttons". Well, there´s only one button on my card but therefor there are even more blooms on it.

Der Stempel ist aus dem Frühlingskit - die Bienchen (oder Käfer) die eigentlich von den Händen starten lagen außerhalb des Nestie-Bereiches und waren zu klein, um sie einzeln auszuschneiden. Darum habe ich einfach winzige, rosafarbene Punkte mit meinem Perlenpen gemacht, so daß es wie viele kleine Blüten aussieht.

The stamp is from Whiff Of Joy´s spring kit - the little bees (or buts) that originally fly away from her hands were outside of the oval nesties when I cut the image but they were also too small to cut them out individually. So I just added a bunch of tiny light pink dots with my pearl pen so it looks like many little blossoms.

Schönen Mittwoch Morgen! Tut mir leid, daß es gestern nichts Neues zu sehen gab hier, aber es war irgendwie zu viel anderes los... Dafür habe ich heute wieder etwas zu zeigen, denn es gibt eine neue Challenge bei Whiff Of Joy. Das Thema lautet "love is in the air", schließlich rückt der Valentinstag immer näher!

Happy wednesday morning! Sorry for not having shown you a new creation yesterday, there was so much going on that I didn´t have the time to finish a project. But here I am back with something to share because we have a new challenge starting over at Whiff Of Joy. The theme is "love is in the air" - valentine´s day is coming closer...

Wunderschönen Montag! Schon wieder ist eine Woche rum - und eine neue beginnt. Und natürlich beginnt sie wie immer mit einer neuen Challenge bei Cupcake Craft! Diesmal haben wir das Thema "Essen" für Euch - Euer Motiv sollte also irgendetwas mit Essen zu tun haben.

Und hier bin ich nochmal, denn heute startet auch eine neue Challenge bei Belles´n´Whistles. "Glitter it up" ist das Thema, das Lynda ausgesucht hat. Also laßt es glitzern auf Euren Karten!

Here I am back because there´s also a new challenge at Belles´n´Whistles today. Glitter it up is the theme Lynda picked.

Ich finde diesen Stempel wunderschön - und toll nostalgisch. Dazu gefiel mir dann der Schriftzug von Stampin Up prima. Über dem Motiv liegt eine Schicht glitzernden Glimmer Mists, die Ränder der Papiere sind mit gold-glitzerndem Embossinpulver überzogen.

I love this stamp - it´s so pretty vintage looking. And I love the text by Stampin´Up to go with it. I put a layer of dazzling Glimmer Mist on top of the image. The edges of all papers are covered with some golden shimmering embossing powder.

Schönen Dienstag! Gegen das Grau draußen gehe ich heute mit blau an... Frostigem Blau, mit neutralem weiß, dazu etwas braun und grün. Das ist nämlich die Farbvorgabe von Cards & Things: Sahara Sand, Bashful Blue, Wild Wasabi. Und zum Matten habe ich noch grau verwendet. Happy tuesday! I am fighting against the grey outside with a blue card... Frosty blue plus some neutral white, some brown and a wee bit of green. Because these are the colors given by Cards & Things: Sahara Sand, Bashful Blue and Wild Wasabi. And for layering I also added some grey. Der Sketch stammt von Stamptacular Sunday: The sketch is by Stamptacular Sunday: Bei Wild Orchid Challenge heißt es "blue christmas" - also eine Weihnachtskarte in (hauptsächlich) blau. At Wild Orchid Challenge they are having a "blue christmas" - so make a christmas card using mainly blue. Und bei A Spoon Full Of Sugar soll distressed werden. Ich liebe dieses frizzelige für Schneekarten, auf Farbe an den Rändern habe ich diesmal (fast) verzichtet. And at A Spoon Full Of Sugar they want us to do some distressing. I love those fuzzy edges for snowy cards. And to not destroy this effect I didn´t use any color on the edges. Das Motiv und der Schneeflocken-Die sind von Whiff Of Joy, der Tannenbaum-Die von Marianne D, der Text von Catslifepress, die Papiere von Magnolia und K&Company. Außerdem habe ich noch ein paar klare Glitzersteinchen und Stickles auf der Karte verteilt. Hallo - und schön, daß Du vorbeischaust! Bei mir ist es momentan etwas ruhiger - sozusagen "wegen Renovierung geschlossen". Das Zimmer unserer Mädels hat es dringend nötig, und außerdem ist es ihr Weihachtsgeschenk. Alles neu... und somit jede Menge Arbeit. Darum wird es die nächsten Tage "nur" meine DT-Karten zu sehen geben.

Hello - and glad to see you! It´s pretty quiet at the moment here - my blog is "closed for renovation". Well, not the blog is getting a make over but my girls´ room. It´s their christmas gift - and really necessary! All new... so it means a lot of word. So you´ll "only" get to see my dt cards for the next few days.

Heute startet unsere neue Challenge bei Whiff Of Joy - und das Thema lautet "Weihnachtskarte".

Today the new challenge over at Whiff Of Joy is starting - and the theme we picked for you is "christmas card".

Ich habe zwei Stempel aus dem September Stempel Kit verwendet. Vielleicht nicht unbedingt die meistgenutzte Stempel-Kombination, aber mir gefielen die Laterne und das kleine Jesus-Kind zusammen sehr gut für eine klassische Karte. Da das Motiv recht zart ist, habe ich nicht zu viel Verzierungen verwendet, dafür auf die Ecken der Designpapiere etwas Goldstaub aufgetragen.

I used two stamps from the september stamp kit. Well, probably this isn´t the most popular stamp combination, but I liked the lantern and little Jesus together for a classical card. Since the image is quite small and soft I didn´t add too many embellishments but some fine gold powder to the edges of the designer´s papers.

Hallo und willkommen! Es ist samstag - also Wochenende, ausschlafen, Frühstück mit den Lieben... und natürlich Zeit für eine neue Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins! Da wir nächsten Samstag unser einjähriges Bestehen mit Euch feiern wollen, haben wir die neue Challenge vorgezogen und sie startet bereits heute. Und dieser Sketch ist Eure neue Aufgabe:

Hello and welcome! It´s saturday - weekend, sleeping in, having breakfast with the family... and of course a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins! Since we want to celebrate our 1st blogoversary with all of you next weekend we start our new challenge a week earlier, which means it starts today. And this sketch is the new dare for you:



Ich habe auf meiner Karte die neue "Sitting Angel Tilda" aus der Weihnachtskollektion von Magnolia verwendet und sie mit Copics und Prismacolor coloriert. Mit dem Airbrushsystem habe ich kleine Wölkchen gemacht, auf denen Tilda sitzt. Leider müßt Ihr auf dem Bild ganz genau hinsehen... Und auch der Flügel ist von Magnolia.

I used the new Sitting Angel Tilda from Magnolia´s christmas collection and colored her in with Copics and Prismacolor. I used the airbrush system to create some fluffy clouds Tilda can sit on - sorry, but you have to look closely to be able to see them. And also the angel wing is made using a new Magnolia die.

This wednesday we have a new challenge over at Whiff Of Joy - it´s this wonderful sketch:Ich habe auf meiner Karte "Willow mit Schirm" verwendet - sie paßt so wunderbar in den Herbst. I used "Willow with Umbrella" for my card - she´s perfect for a fall-ish card. Dies ist der Sketch, nach dem ich diese Karte gemacht habe - er kommt von Stamps & Fun = Creativity: This is the sketch that I used for this card - it´s from Stamps & Fun = Creativity: Bei Stempelträume lautet das Thema "Schleife" - und geht somit Hand in Hand mit der Challenge von Wild Orchid, wo es heißt "ribbons and bows" - also Bänder und Schleifen. At Stempelträume the theme is "bow" - and so it is about the same like at Wild Orchid, where the challenge is called "ribbons and bows". Lovely Hänglar Only hat sich für Paper Piecing entschieden. Lovely Hänglar Only wants us to do some Paper Piecing. Und bei den Kreativen Stempelfreunden ist schon Herbst - zumindest beim Thema. And at Kreative Stempelfreunde "fall" has arrived - at least in this week´s challenge. Das Motiv ist aus dem "Limited Edition" Kit von Hänglar. Ich habe zum Paper Piecen dieselben Papiere wie auf der Karte verwendet - alle in schönen Herbstfarben. The image is from the "Limited Edition" kit by Hänglar. I used the same papers for the paper piecing as I did on the card - all of them in beautiful warm fall colors.

So, hier bin ich schon wieder... Diesmal mit einer Karte, die ich nach dem Sketch von Take Time For You gemacht habe: Here I am again... This time to show you a card I made following the sketch from Take Time For You: Außerdem habe ich das Thema von Lovely Hänglar eingebaut: Lace. Und dasselbe Thema gibt es auch bei der 2. Challenge von Wild Orchid Crafts. I also included the theme of Lovely Hanglar: lace. And at Wild Orchid Crafts they picked the same theme for their 2nd challenge. Bei Cutie Sunday heißt es diesmal "Schnörkel". At Cutie Sunday the new challenge is called "flourish". Die Practical Scrappers möchten, daß wir diesmal 7 - oder mehr - verschiedene Dinge für unser Werk verwenden. Ich habe: Stempelmotiv, Spitze, Perlen, Motivpapier, Cardstock, Blumen, Blätter und Die Cuts verwendet. Practical Scrappers want us to use 7 - or more - different things for our project this week. I went with: stamped image, lace, pearls, patterned paper, cardstock, flowers, leaves and die cuts. Und zu guter Letzt sind da noch die Farben, die eine Vorgabe von SPCC sind: soft suede, crumb cake und certainly celery. It´s a new day - so here´s a new card. It is made following the sketch from Paperminutes (where I added a extra layer of cardstock): Und dies ist die Farbvorgabe von Color Throwdown: And these are the colors given by Color Throwdown: Bei Wild Orchid gibt es die allererste Challenge - mit dem Thema: "say it with flowers" - sag´s mit Blumen. At Wild Orchid they have their very first challenge running - with "say it with flowers" as the theme. Bei Stampavie and More ist diesmal alles erlaubt - wir können also aus dem Vollen schöpfen. Everything goes at Stampavie and More this week - so grab whatever you want. Und dann ist da noch Simon, dem es bei der Hitze nach Früchten ist... And then there is Simon who wants fruits - the best with this heat... Ich habe mal wieder einen Sarah Kay Stempel verwendet. Der Text ist vom Stampin´Up, die Papiere von GCD und Laura Ashley.
