Es gibt eine neue Challenge bei Cute Card Thursday. Diese Woche haben wir einen Sketch für Euch:

There's a new challenge at Cute Card Thursday. And this week we have come up with a sketch for you:

Nun, das Schuljahr neigt sich dem Ende entgegen und es heißt, von so manchem Lehrer Abschied zu nehmen. Meine Große hat Ihre Ausbildung zur Kinderpflegerin beendet und bevor es jetzt weiter auf die Fachakademie für Erzieherinnen geht, muss auch sie sich von Lehrern und den Erzieherinnen und Kindern in "ihrem" Kindergarten verabschieden. Und dies ist eine der Karten, die ich dafür gemacht habe.

Das Motiv ist von Hänglar und ich habe es mit Distress Markern coloriert. Meine eigenen sind leider immer noch nicht eingetroffen (ich hoffe, sie sind nicht auf dem Weg aus den USA verloren gegangen, denn immerhin sind sie schon 2 Monate unterwegs), aber ich durfte nochmal die Marker der lieben Helga benutzen. 

School year is nearly over here in our part of Germany and so it's time to say goodbye to some teachers. This is a card I made for my oldest's teacher.

The image is by Hanglar and I colored it with Distress Markers. I am still waiting for my own ones (hope they didn't lost during their way from the States because they are on their way since 2 months now) but I was able to use my friends' ones again.

 Ich habe heute eine kleine Szene gemacht - Flip Flop Tilda auf einem Steg sitzend am Strand, dahinter eine Palme... Die Palme ist einer der neuen Stempel von Whiff Of Joy und paßt hier einfach prima! Den Rest habe ich dann einfach frei dazu gemacht.

I made a little scene today: Flip Flop Tilda on a bench at the beach, a palm tree behind her. The palm tree is one of the new stamps by Whiff Of Joy. The rest of the scene has been made free hand.

Cute Card Thursday - metallica

Wunderschönen Donnerstag!
Es gibt wieder eine neue Challenge bei Cute Card Thursday: metallica. Keine Angst, wenn Ihr nicht mögt, braucht Ihr keinen Hardrock hören - verwendet einfach etwas Metall oder metallisches auf Eurer Karte.

We at Cute Card Thursday have a new challenge up for you: metallica. Don't worry, you don't have to listen to hard rock if you don't want to - just use something metallic on your card.

Bei uns sind endlich die neuen Sarah Kay Stempel von Stamapvie eingetroffen - und darum habe ich einen davon gleich eingeweiht: Tea Please. Passend zum nostalgischen Look habe ich das Motiv in Grautönen coloriert - und um das Challenge-Thema einzubauen, habe ich den Text in ein Bookplate in Silber gesetzt, einen silbernen Teekannen-Charm mit auf die Karte geklebt und einige Stellen mit silbernem Embossingpulver überzogen. Außerdem habe ich noch eine silberne Buchecke oben rechts aufgebracht. Ihr seht, Metallica muß nicht hart sein! LOL

In my shop the new Sarah Kay stamps by Stampavie have finally arrived - and I just had to ink one of these cuties up: Tea Please. Matching the vintage look of these images I colored it in grey tones - and to include the challenge theme I put the saying in a silver bookplate, added a silver tea pot charm and covered a few areas with silver embossing powder. I also added a silver book corner to the upper right.

Es ist Mittwoch - und Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Whiff Of Joy. "Love is in the air" heißt es diesmal bei uns...

Hello friends!

It's wednesday - and so we at Whiff Of Joy have a new challenge up for you. Love is in the air is our new theme...

Wie Ihr seht, muss es nicht unbedingt ein "echter" Valentinsstempel sein. Ich habe einfach einen der süßen Stempel aus dem Herbstkit verwendet, den Apfel vor dem Stempel "entfernt" und später frei Hand ein Herz an seinen Platz gesetzt. Und ich will es gleich vorweg nehmen - ich habe keine Ahnung warum da zweimal das Wasserzeichen auf meiner Karte gelandet ist. Aber leider ist es jetzt da und ich kann es nicht mehr entfernen...

 Ich habe mich mal für eine runde Karte entschieden, mal was anderes, dachte ich. 

Der Text ist von Stampin'Up.

As you can see here you don't have to use a "real" valentine's stamp. I used this cute stramp from the fall kit, "removed" the apple before stamping it and hand draw the heart on its place afterwards. 

I have no idea why there are two watermarks on my card - but they are there and I'm not able to remove one of them anymore....

I went with a round card, just for making something different.

Pink Ink Sketches # 2

Ahoi Ihr Lieben! Wow, die Menge an Teilnehmern an unserer allerersten Challenge bei Pink Ink war überwältigend - danke! Wir hoffe, daß Ihr auch bei # 2 so zahlreich teilnehmt. Und dies ist der Sketch dafür:

Ahoy dear friends! Wow, the amount of those who joined us for our very first challenge over at Pink Ink was amazing - thanks so much! We hope you all will be back for challenge # 2. And this is the sketch we created for you:

Ich habe mal eine Edwin-Karte gemacht. Und bei einem Matrosen-Motiv kann man zumindest davon träumen, bei Sonnenschein auf dem Meer unterwegs zu sein... Im Hintergrund bläht sich ein großes Segel - und eigentlich sollte "ED1" darauf stehen. Als Tochter von begeisterten Seglern kenne ich natürlich die Nummer-Zahlen-Kombinationen auf den Segeln echter Schiffe. Leider hatte ich keine Rub-On Nummern in der richtigen Größe und ohne groß nachzudenken, habe ich die 1 einfach ausgeschrieben. Leider sieht es jetzt wie E-Done statt ED-one aus. Ja, so ein kleiner Strich hätte geholfen.LOL Banner und Wolke sind neue Dies von Magnolia (die Wolke entwickelt sich schon jetzt zu einem meiner Lieblinge!), für die Wellen habe ich den "Abfall" der Magnolia Lace benutzt. Auch die Papiere sind von Magnolia, das Schiff ist von Stampin'Up, die Möven sind handgeschnitten.

I made an Edwin card. And with the sailor theme you can at least dream of being on a ship that sails on the open sea in bright sunshine... In the background I put a big sail - and I wanted ED1 to be written on it. As the daughter of two sailors I know very well those number and letter combinations written on the sails. Unfortunately I didn't have any rub on numbers and without thinking too much I put the 1 on in letters. Well, it kind of looks like E-Done now instead of ED-one. Guess just a little dash would have made such a difference!LOL Banner and cloud are new Magnolia dies (the cloud is already going to be one of my favs), to create the waves I used the non-used part of a Tilda Lace die. Also papers are by Magnolia, ship stamp by Stampin'Up, seagulls are handcut.

Cute Card Thursday - going krafty

Hallo Ihr Lieben! Es ist schon wieder Donnerstag und somit Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Cute Card Thursday. Wir haben sie "going krafty" genannt - und die Idee dahinter ist, daß wir gerne Coloration auf kraftfarbenem Cardstock sehen würden. Das geht mit Copics, Kreide und Prismacolors wirklich prima!

Hello to all of you! Another thursday has come and so it´s time for a new challenge over at Cute Card Thursday. We named it "going krafty" - and the idea is to do the stamping and coloring on kraft cardstock. This works great with Copics, Prismacolors and chalks!

Ich habe mich für das süße Motiv "Lazy Days" von Teddy Bo entschieden - es strahlt so richtig schön viel Summerfeeling aus! Zum Colorieren habe ich Copics benutzt und die hellen Stellen mit weißem Prismacolor gemacht. Mit Embellishments habe ich mich diesmal bewußt zurückgehalten, so kann die Karte prima als Männerkarte verwendet werden.

I went with this cute Teddy Bo image "Lazy Days" - it´s so full of summer feelings! I used Copics for the coloring and a white Prismacolor pencil for the white areas. I decided to do only a little bit of embellishing so the card could be used as a man´s card.

Hallo und schönen Sonntag Morgen! Wie immer startet auch heute eine neue Challenge bei Magnolia Down Under - und das Thema diesmal ist "Lieblingsdinge". Ihr könnt also aus dem Vollen schöpfen und all das verwenden, ohne das eine Karte für Euch nicht sein darf.

Hello and happy sunday morgen! As usual we at Magnolia Down Under have a new challenge for you - and our theme this week is "favourite things". So go ahead and use all that stuff that you think you can´t live or craft without.

Ich kann einfach nicht ohne Spitze, ohne Lagen, ohne Blumen und Band - noch ein wenig Glitzer und Distress Crackle Paint obendrauf und die Die Cuts nicht vergessen! Das ganze dann in gedeckten Farben und natürlich mit einem süßen Magnolia-Motiv... Die Karte war fast in null komma nix fertig!

I just can´t craft without lace, layer, without flowers and ribbon - add a little bling and Distress Crackle Paint and don´t forget the die cuts! Keep all this in muted colors and of course use one of the cute Tilda images.... The card was nearly done within nothing!

Happy Birthday mit vielen Perlen lautet das Thema bei Bunny Zoe´s Craft.

The image by Sugar Nellie is so delicate so I only went with Prismacolors to color it so sorry, but I don´t have a pic of what I used for coloring.

Hallo und sonnigen Dienstag! Heute habe ich eine Hänglar-Karte, die ich Euch zeigen möchte. Und da bei A Spoon Full Of Sugar das Thema "tags" lautet, habe ich mal wieder eine Tag-Karte gemacht.

Hello and sunny tuesday! Today I have a Hänglar card to share with you. And since the theme over at A Spoon Full Of Sugar is "tags" I decided to make a tag card again.

Bei Copic Creations soll diesmal eine Farbkombi aus Komplementär-Farben gewählt werden - und es gibt ein tolles Farbrad, das die Entscheidung erleichtert. Ich habe mich für Powder Blue und Salmon/Rust entschieden.

At Copic Creations they want us to make a card using complementary colors - and they have a great color wheel posted to make the decision easier. I went with Powder Blue and Salmon/Rust.

Papertake Weekly macht es uns diesmal einfach mit dem Thema "anything goes".

Papertake Weekly has an easy challenge for us with the theme "anything goes".

Und bei Lovely Hänglar Only lautet die Aufgabe "Nähte". Da die Innen- und Außenseite meiner Karte zu sehen sind, habe ich mich für unechte Nähte entschieden.

And at Lovely Hänglar Only they want us to include stitches. Since the inside and outside of my card have to look nice I went with faux-stitching.

Schönen Dienstag! Endlich bin ich dazu gekommen, einen der neuen Magnolia-Stempel zu benutzen: Ribbon Hair Tilda. Zuerst war ich mir bei dem Motiv nicht sicher, aber sobald ich sie abgestempelt hatte, sah ich die fertige Karte vor mir. Und mit den süßen Locken mußte ich sie einfach mit dunkler Hautfarbe malen...

Happy tuesday! I finally found the time to ink up one of the new Magnolia stamps: Ribbon Hair Tilda. I wasn´t that sure about the image when I saw it first but as soon as I got her stamped I knew what I wanted to do with her. And with those cute locks I had to give her a dark skin color...

Ich wollte etwas weihnachtliches machen für den Post am 25. - aber eine Weihnachtskarte sollte es dann doch nicht sein. Und dann kam mir die Idee für die "Gedanken eines Weihnachtsengels". Der Stempel von Whiff Of Joy paßt da einfach prima...

I wanted to make something christmassy for today´s post - but for sure no christmas card. And then I got this idea. The text under the image says "thoughts of a christmas angel" - and the text in the circle means "done it - finally in vacation". So you see - even those angels are happy once all their work is done!LOL And I love this image by Whiff Of Joy for this...
