Stamps&Fun=Creativity - Wimpel

Schon wieder geht eine neue Woche an den Start - und mit ihr natürlich auch eine neue Challenge bei Stamps&Fun=Creativity. Diesmal dreht sich alles um Wimpel.

Another week has started - and of course it started with a new challenge at Stamps&Fun=Creativity. This week it's all about banners.

Ich habe hier auf meinem Banner Henry am Schaukelpferd aus dem neusten Release von Whiff Of Joy verwendet. Auch wenn sich bei den neuen Stempeln alles um Jungs dreht, ich finde, dieses Motiv ist auch prima für Mädels geeignet. Ich habe mit Scrabble-Buchstaben das Wort Playtime geschrieben und weiter unten geht der Text mit "should be all the time" weiter. Auf das gestreifte Papier im Hintergrund habe ich mit hellbrauner Farbe noch kleine Elefanten gestempelt. Ich glaube, Ihr müßt das Bild durch einen Klick größer machen, um es zu erkennen.

I used Rocking Horse Fun from the newest release from Whiff Of Joy here. Even if the new stamps are all about boys, I think this image is also great for girls. I used those little wodden letters to write the word playtime and the text goes on with "should be all the time". I also stamped some little elephants on the striped background paper. I think you have to klick on the pic to make it larger to be able to see them.

It's time for a new challenge over at Cute Card Thursday and our new theme is "fairy nice". So let those fairies flutter around....

Ich hatte bei einem Workshop angefangen, diese Summer Flower Tilda zu colorieren und sie für diese Karte fertig coloriert. Eigentlich bin ich ja eher für die sanften Farben bei Feen aber das kräftige Türkis mit dem Grün finde ich prima. Ordentlich Glitzer auf den Flügeln durfte nicht fehlen und natürlich Blumen als Deko. Und damit sie nicht so alleine ist, habe ich ihr noch einen Schmetterlings-Freund an die Seite gestellt.

I started coloring this Summer Flower Tilda at a workshop recently and finished her for this card. Usually I love soft colors with fairies but that bright turquoise with the green is wonderfully for her as well. Of course I had to add a bunch of Stickles to her wings - and flower as decoration. And to not make her feel lonely I gave her a butterfly friend.

Ich habe hier ein weiteres Maya-Motiv verwendet: Maya beobachtet einen Marienkäfer. Sie ist geradezu perfekt für eine Sommerszene. Und auch der Stempel im Hintergrund ist von Whiff Of Joy, er war mal einem der Geheimen Stempelkist enthalten.

I used another one of the new Simply Maya image: Maya beobachtet einen Marienkäfer. She's just perfect for a summer-ish scene. And also the background stamp is by Whiff Of Joy, it came with one of the previous secret stamp kits.

Das Motiv, das wir Euch heute zeigen möchten, heißt Telltale.

The image we are going to present you today is called Telltale.

Wenn ich es ansehe, kommen mir sofort zig Ideen, für die dieses süße Motiv passen würde. Für diese Karte habe ich den Text "a little bird told me" - ein Vögelchen hat mir gezwitschert - genommen. Das kann dann eine Geburtstagskarte sein, oder eine Glückwunschekarte zu einer anderen Gelegenheit, die vielleicht nicht so groß gefeiert wird...
Farblich bin ich schon ganz im Sommer angekommen: rosa, weiß, braun und etwas blau. Und das Vogelhäuschen war dann die ideale Ergänzung zum Motiv.

When I look at this image there are so many ideas popping up in my mind what I could use this image for. For today's card I went with "a little bird told me". And so this could be a birthday card or a card for any other occasion that might not be celebrated that much...
Colorwise I reached summer already: pink, white, brown and some blue. And the bird house was the perfect finish to go with this image.

Heute gibt es eine neue Challenge bei Whiff Of Joy und wir möchten eine Runde Bingo mit Euch spielen.

We at Whiff Of Joy have a new challenge up for you and we'd like to play bingo with you this week.

Ich habe mich für die untere Reihe entschieden: Blumen, Pins und Spitze.
Und auf meiner Karte darf ich Euch eine Vorschau auf eines der neuen Motive von Whiff Of Joy geben, die es ab 28. April im Shop zu bestellen geben wird. Es ist aus der neuen Sympathy Stamp Collection von Elisabeth Bell und heißt "Geteilter Schmerz". Auch wenn es eine Trauer-Kollektion ist - ich finde das Motiv toll für jede Gelegenheit, zu der man jemanden Aufheitern möchte.
Der passende Text ist von Stampin'Up. Es wird von Whiff Of Joy auch eine Stempelkollektion, in deutsch und auch in englisch, mit passenden Texten geben, die habe ich aber noch nicht bekommen und somit habe ich auf diesen Text zurückgegriffen.

And on my card I am giving you a preview of one of the new images that will be available at the Whiff Of Joy store from april 28th. It's from the new Sympathy Stamp Collection by Elisabeth Bell and is called "Sharing In Your Sorrow". Even if this is a sympathy collection, this image can be used on any card you want to give someone to cheer him up.
The saying I used is by Stampin Up. There will be a stamp set, in german and in english, with sympathy sayings from Whiff Of Joy as well but I didn't get mine yet and so I went with this text.

So, guten Morgen Ihr Lieben - hier ist sie wieder. Die Karte, die ich versehentlich schon in meinem Post am Freitag gezeigt hatte. Dort ist inzwischen die richtige Karte angekommen. Und heute ist diese Karte richtig, denn sie ist nach unserem neuen Sketch bei Stamps&Fun=Creativity gemacht:

So, here it is back again - the card I accidently showed in my post on friday. There I added the right card by now - and this card is right to be posted today because it is made following our new sketch over at Stamps&Fun=Creativity:

"Kostbar" heißt dieser süße Stempel aus der Baby-Serie von Whiff Of Joy. Ja, es gibt nicht genug kostbare Momente mit Babies, und man muss sie voll auskosten denn viel zu schnell werden sie groß....

Auch der Text und das Die sind von Whiff Of Joy. Bei dem Text habe ich das Element in der Mitte ausgetauscht - ausstanzen und mit 3D aufkleben macht sich super. Und die Bodys habe ich auf eine Wäscheleine gehängt...

"Precious" is the name of this cute stamp from Whiff Of Joy's baby range. Oh, there aren't enough precious moments with babys and you really have to collect them because too soon they get big...

Even the saying and the die are by Whiff Of Joy. For the text I changed the middle element - just punched it and added the new one with some dimensionals. And I hung the onesies from a laundry line....

Hallo Ihr Lieben und schönen Gründonnerstag!
Es startet wieder eine neue Challenge bei Cute Card Thursday - und diesmal lautet unser Thema "I want candy".
Ich liebe es, kleine Verpackungen für Süßigkeiten zu werkeln und darum ist für die neue Challenge diese Kleinigkeit entstanden. Ich muss gestehen, die Grundidee stammt nicht von mir. Sie ist von Stampin'T - und dort kann die Anleitung auch für 1 $ erworben werden. Da konnte ich nicht widerstehen. Das Nachbasteln hat total viel Spaß gemacht und durch die Abwandlung hat die Verpackung auch eine persönliche Note bekommen.

Today we at Cute Card Thursday have a new challenge up for you and our new theme is "I want candy".
I love to make little wrappings for candies and so I made this one for our new challenge. I have to admit that I didn't come up with this on my own - the idea is by Stampin'T and the tutorial can be downloaded from her blog for just 1 $. I couldn't resist and making this was so much fun and by making some little changes I also added my personal style to it.

Da Ihr alle wißt, wie groß ein Ferrero Rocher ist, könnt Ihr Euch sicher auch die Größe der Verpackung vorstellen. Und so war für viel Deko kein Platz. Aber ein kleiner Hase von Stampin'Up, ein Blümchen und etwas Schnur konnte ich dann doch unterbringen. Und nun wird dieses hier wohl mit ein paar Zwillingen am Sonntag den Ostertisch zieren...

Since you all know what size those Ferrero Rocher are I guess you can also imagine the size of this gift. And so there wasn't much room for decoration. But I was able to add a little bunny by Stampin'Up, a flower and some twine. And so I guess this and a few twins will be on our easter table on sunday morning...

"Teddy Love" heißt der süße Stempel, den ich hier verwendet habe - und natürlich ist er aus den neuen Princes and Princesses Kollektion. 

Den Text habe ich mit dem Computer geschrieben, die Papiere sind ein bunter Mix aus meinem Fundus von Resten und Stückchen.

Närrischen Faschingsdienstag!

Los gehts in die letzte Runde des Faschings. Nicht, dass ich davon bisher schon etwas gesehen hätte. Aber die Hoffnung, zumindest heute nachmittag noch auf den Kinderfasching zu können, ist da. Zumindest zum Kuchen-Abgeben fahre ich auf jeden Fall hin. 

Aber für einige ist das Feiern mit Aschermittwoch noch nicht vorbei denn es gibt ja Geburtstage.... Und so habe ich für meine heutige Karte auf dem Sugar Nellie Blog eine Geburtstagskarte gemacht.

Crazy carnival tuesday!

Well, we're off to the last round of carnival. Not that I've been to any carnival party yet. But I am still hoping to at least join the kids carnival party with my girls this afternoon. For sure I'll drive by, and if it's only to bring the cake I made.

But partying won't be over for all of us by the end of this day - there are birthdays ahead... And so I made a birthday card for my post over at the Sugar Nellie blog today.

 Das Motiv, das ich verwendet habe, heißt "Pringle". Ist der Hase mit seinen langen Ohren und dem Geschenk nicht zum Knuddeln? 

Ihr kennt mich ja - farblich bin ich eher der gedeckte Typ, so auch diesmal. Braun, grau und blau waren die Farben des Tages. 

Neben das Motiv habe ich einen Gartenzaun und Gras von Martha Stewart und eine "Blütenranke" gesetzt. Kennt Ihr das, Ihr gebt etwas probeweise auf die Karte (in meinem Fall kleine hellblauen Blüten, die ich aufgestreut habe), Euch gefällt das Ergebnis aber nach dem Festkleben sieht es ganz anders aus? So ging es mir hier, aber die kleinen Perlen, die dicke Schleife und der "Küchenstück-auf-Teller-Charm" haben es dann doch noch gerettet.

Well, you know me - colors are used in a dose on my crafts, and so I went with a braun, grey and blue combo today.

I put a fence and grass by Martha Stewart next to the image and a "floral flourish". Do you know this: you put something on your card to see what it looks like, you like it but after you adhered it with glue it looks totally different? This is what happened to me here with the tiny blue flowers. But I think the little pearls, the big bow and the "slice-of-cake-on-a-plate-charm" make it look okay again.

Just in time also this thursday we at Cute Card Thursday have a new challenge up for you. Buttons and bows is our new theme.

Ich habe mich für dieses süße Motiv von Sugar Nellie entschieden und es ganz nostalgisch in Sepia-Tönen coloriert. Und auch für den Rest der Karte habe ich hauptsächlich braun und beige/creme verwendet. Das Band der großen Schleife habe ich etws gekräuselt, die Knöpfe sind aus Herz-Stanzern selbst gemacht.

I went with this cute image by Sugar Nellie and colored it in sepia tones. Also for the rest of the card I mainly used browns and beige/cream. I ruffled the ends of the big bow, the buttons are made using a heart punch.

Another week has passed, it's monday again and so we have a new challenge at Stamps&Fun=Creativity. This week's theme is "stitches".

Meine Große und ihr Freund sind heute ein Jahr zusammen. Alles Liebe Ihr beiden!!!!
Er hat mich gebeten, eine Karte zu machen, die er meiner Tochter zum heutigen Tag schenken kann. Hm, natürlich sollte sie süß sein, trotzdem aber noch erkennbar von einem Jungen kommen. Darum habe ich zu Edwin mit der Rose gegriffen und statt großen Worten einfach nur ein Herz in einer Sprechblase als Text hinzugefügt.

My oldest and her boyfriend are celebrating their one year anniversary today. Congrats to the both of you!!!!
He asked me to make a card he could give my daughter today. Well, of course I wanted it to be cute but it should still be something that comes from a boy. So I picked Edwin with the rose and instead of a lot of words I added a little heart in a bubble.

Ihm hat sie gefallen - und ich denke, ihr auch ;)

Ich habe hier mal wieder einen der Sarah Kay Stempel verwendet. Oh Mann, ich habe so viele schöne Weihnachtsstempel, jedes Jahr kommen welche hinzu - und die "alten" versauern. Ich habe die Karte bewußt Ton in Ton gehalten und nur etwas grün hinzugefügt. Der Text ist von Whiff Of Joy.

Hello dear all! A new challenge at Stamps&Fun=Creativity is starting today and our theme of this week is Halloween.

Ich habe einen Reagenzglas-Halter gemacht, der auch gleich Prototyp für die Einladungen für die Halloweenparty meiner Mädels war. Die sind inzwischen auch fast fertig, allerdings mit nur einem Reagenzglas und anders dekoriert... :)

I made a test tube holder, and it was also a test drive for the halloween party invitations for my girls. These are nearly finished by now as well, holding only one test tube and decorated differently... :)

Hallo und schönen Samstag! Es ist wieder Stempeleinmaleins-Zeit und die Anleitung heute ist für diese Wiper Card. Der deutsche Name ist wohl Scheibenwischerkarte... Auf den ersten Blick ist es eine normale Karte, aber wenn man an den Seiten zieht... tada:

Hello and happy saturday! It´s time for another issue of Stempeleinmaleins and today´s tutorial is about this wiper card. At first look it seems to be a normal card but if you pull on the side... tada:


Oben klappt ein kleines Fähnchen aus der Karte, auf das ein Spruch, etwas Deko etc. angebracht werden kann.

At the top a little banner shows up where you can put on a sentiment, an embellishment etc.

Ich habe das süße Hänglar-Mädchen benutzt und den Text direkt auf das Herz gestempelt. Die Papiere sind von Magnolia und DCWV.
