 Hallo und herzlich willkommen zu einer neuen Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins!

Diesmal zeigen wir Euch, wie Ihr diese Blumen-Easel-Card machen könnt.

This week we are going to show you how to make such a flower-easel-card.

 Mit meiner Karte darf ich Euch auch eine Vorschau auf eines der Motive geben, das im Herbst-Stempelkit von Whiff Of Joy enthalten sein wird. Das Kit könnt Ihr jetzt vorbestellen, der Inhalt ist, bis auf zwei Vorschaumotive, geheim. Aber da es nicht sicher ist, ob es die Stempel einzeln geben wird und Ihr außerdem im Vergleich zum Einzelkauf richtig Geld sparen könnt, lohnt es sich auf jeden Fall! Auch der Schriftzug "cheers to love, life and happiness" wird im Set enthalten sein.

With this card I can also give you a sneak peak of one of the images that will come with the secret stamp kit by Whiff Of Joy. The kit can now be pre-ordered, the content is secret except those two images the DT is sharing with you at the moment. But since it isn't sure that those images will be available as single stamps and since you really save a lot of money compared to the prize of those single stamps ordering your set is really worth it! 

Also the text "cheers to love, life and happiness" will be included in the set.

In die Mitte der Blumen habe ich einen runden Text mit einem Knopf in Herz-Form gesetzt, außerdem habe ich neben die Blüten noch zwei Blätter gegeben. Der Textstreifen ist unter der kleinsten Blüte befestigt.

I put a round text and a heartshaped button in the middle of the smallest flower, I also added some leaves next to the flower. The strip with the text is put under the smallest flower.

Heute zeige ich Euch wieder eine Karte mit einem der süßen Stempel von Sugar Nellie.

As every tuesday I share another Sugar Nellie creation with you today.

Der Stempel auf meiner Karte ist in Wirklichkeit ein Digi, designed von Diane Duda und heißt Best Buds. Ich finde dieses Motiv einfach großartig und auch wenn Jungenkarten wohl eher weniger weit oben auf der "Dinge-die-ich-gerne-mache"-Liste stehen, dieses Motiv hat es mir wirklich leicht gemacht. Es ist wunderbar zu colorieren - und wenn ich es anschaue muss ich grinsen.
Dekomäßig habe ich mich zurückgehalten - etwas Cheesecloth, ein Knopf, zwei Sterne und etwas Distressing müssen reichen. Dafür gibt der schwarze Cardstock einen schönen Kontrast.

The stamp I used here is actually a digi designed by Diane Duda. It's called Best Buds. I just love this image and even if those boys' cards aren't on top of my "things-I-love-to-make"-list, this image made it easy. It's so great to color in and whenever I look at it I just have to smile.
I didn't add a lot of decoration - some cheesecloth, a button, two stars and some distressing had to do it. But the black cardstock I used for the matting really adds to the card.

It's saturday and that means there is a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins. This week we show you how to make such a watering can.

Ich habe dafür das Motiv Planting Some Love von Belles'n'Whistles verwendet, denn es paßt einfach perfekt. Die Gießkanne habe ich aus bedrucktem Cardstock gemacht, ein etwas Gras, ein paar Blätter, ein Schnörkel und ein Spaten-Charm reichten als Verzierung.

I used Planting Some Love by Belles'n'Whistles since this image is perfect for that little watering can. The watering can itself has been made from thick printed cardstock, as decoration just some grass, a few leaves, a swirl and a charm were enough.

Heute darf ich ein Tutorial auf dem Whiff Of Joy Inspiration Blog zeigen - und ich habe mich entschieden, eine Double Slider Card zu machen.

It's my turn to write up a post over at the Whiff Of Joy Inspiration blog - and I decided to make a Double Slider Card.

Die Karte sieht auf den ersten Blick ganz normal aus:
At the first sight the cards look quite normal:

Aber die Karte läßt sich nicht öffnen. Der Text - oder auch ein weiteres Motiv - kommt zum Vorschein, wenn man an dem kleinen Tab oben zieht:

But you can't open this card. The text - or an additonal image - shows up if you pull the tab on top of the card:

Ich habe Uru mit Vogel verwendet. Wo ist der Vogel, fragt Ihr? Den habe ich wie schon öfter nicht mitgestempelt sondern ihn durch ein zum Thema passendes Motiv ersetzt, hier einen Stern. Und auch die Blätter, die von der Mütze baumeln, wurden duch einen Stern ersetzt.

I used Uru with Bird. Where's the bird, you might ask. Like a few times before I didn't ink it up but replaced it with a little image matching the theme of my card, in this case a star. I did the same with the Holly Leaves hanging from his hat.

Cute Card Thursday - I want candy

Hallo Ihr Lieben und schönen Gründonnerstag!
Es startet wieder eine neue Challenge bei Cute Card Thursday - und diesmal lautet unser Thema "I want candy".
Ich liebe es, kleine Verpackungen für Süßigkeiten zu werkeln und darum ist für die neue Challenge diese Kleinigkeit entstanden. Ich muss gestehen, die Grundidee stammt nicht von mir. Sie ist von Stampin'T - und dort kann die Anleitung auch für 1 $ erworben werden. Da konnte ich nicht widerstehen. Das Nachbasteln hat total viel Spaß gemacht und durch die Abwandlung hat die Verpackung auch eine persönliche Note bekommen.

Today we at Cute Card Thursday have a new challenge up for you and our new theme is "I want candy".
I love to make little wrappings for candies and so I made this one for our new challenge. I have to admit that I didn't come up with this on my own - the idea is by Stampin'T and the tutorial can be downloaded from her blog for just 1 $. I couldn't resist and making this was so much fun and by making some little changes I also added my personal style to it.

Da Ihr alle wißt, wie groß ein Ferrero Rocher ist, könnt Ihr Euch sicher auch die Größe der Verpackung vorstellen. Und so war für viel Deko kein Platz. Aber ein kleiner Hase von Stampin'Up, ein Blümchen und etwas Schnur konnte ich dann doch unterbringen. Und nun wird dieses hier wohl mit ein paar Zwillingen am Sonntag den Ostertisch zieren...

Since you all know what size those Ferrero Rocher are I guess you can also imagine the size of this gift. And so there wasn't much room for decoration. But I was able to add a little bunny by Stampin'Up, a flower and some twine. And so I guess this and a few twins will be on our easter table on sunday morning...

Na, es wird wärmer und die Sonne scheint seit ein paar Tagen wunderbar da draußen. Ich glaube, der Frühling ist auf dem Weg zu uns. Darum habe ich für unsere neue Challenge bei Cute Card Thursday mit dem Thema "winged things" - also Dinge mit Flügeln - einen frühlingshaften Tag gemacht.

It's getting warmer, the sun has been shining since a few days now - I think spring is on the way! So for our new challenge at Cute Card Thursday with the theme of "winged things" I made a spring-ish tag.

Das Motiv ist von Lili of the Valley. Ich habe es schon länger und trotzdem finde ich es jedes Mal auf neue einfach nur süß. 

Farblich habe ich hier eine für mich eher untypische Kombi gewählt, aber sie schreit geradezu Frühling, oder nicht? Die Flügel der kleinen Fee sind mit Stickles überzogen, der große Schmetterling ist von Stampin'Up. Oben am Tag habe ich noch einen kleinen Feenhaus-Charm angebracht.

The image is by Lili of the Valley. I have it since quite a while now but I still love it a lot.

The color combo I've chosen for this tag is quite unusal for me and my style but it is so screaming spring to me. The wings of this little cutie have been covered with Stickles, the big butterfly is by Stampin'Up. At the top of the tag I added a little fairy house charm.

Ich habe nochmal die Tilda with Snowheart ausgepackt. Irgendwie ist einem ja doch langsam nach Frühling, auch wenn der Winter noch nicht wirklich da war. Also schnell nochmal die Winterstempel benutzen, bevor sie für die nächsten Monate eingemottet werden...

Meine Große und ihr Freund sind heute ein Jahr zusammen. Alles Liebe Ihr beiden!!!!
Er hat mich gebeten, eine Karte zu machen, die er meiner Tochter zum heutigen Tag schenken kann. Hm, natürlich sollte sie süß sein, trotzdem aber noch erkennbar von einem Jungen kommen. Darum habe ich zu Edwin mit der Rose gegriffen und statt großen Worten einfach nur ein Herz in einer Sprechblase als Text hinzugefügt.

My oldest and her boyfriend are celebrating their one year anniversary today. Congrats to the both of you!!!!
He asked me to make a card he could give my daughter today. Well, of course I wanted it to be cute but it should still be something that comes from a boy. So I picked Edwin with the rose and instead of a lot of words I added a little heart in a bubble.

Ihm hat sie gefallen - und ich denke, ihr auch ;)

Hello friends and welcome to the first post of this week. As usual right in time a new challenge over at Stamps&Fun=Creativity is starting. Dots is the theme of this week - no matter if they are big or small, the more the better!

Ich habe mich für viele verschiedene gepunktete Papiere entschiede und noch eine Muttertagskarte gewerkelt. Nachdem einige Freundinnen meiner Großen bei mir geordert hatten konnte ich davon so einige gebrauchen! Die süße Hello Butterfly Tilda kam mir sehr gelegen und auch die Farbkombi schwarz und rosa fand ich prima - nicht zu verspielt aber trotdem süß. Und der Touch rot war dann noch das gewisse etwas obendrauf.

I went with a bunch of different dottet papers and made another mother´s day card. Since a few of my oldest friends ordered cards for their moms from me I needed quite a few of them! Sweet Hello Butterfly Tilda seemed to be perfect and I liked the colors of pink and black together - not too girly but still cute. And the touch of red was the little extra needed.

Für mich ist heute Premiere - es ist das erste Mal, daß ich nur eine Karte für zwei Designteams habe - denn es startet eine neue Challenge bei Cupcake Craft und auch bei Belles´n´Whistles... Aber mir ist die Zeit davon gelaufen und dann lieber nur eine Karte als gar keine, oder?

It´s a first for me today - it´s the first time that I have only one card for two designteams/challenge. There is a new one at Cupcake Craft and Belles´n´Whistles... But I got totally lost in time and so I thought better just one card than none, right?

Das Thema bei Belles´n´Whistles lautet "favourite things". Darum zeigt uns doch einfach eine Karte mit all den Dingen, die Ihr am liebsten verwendet. ABER weil Valentinstag ist, müßt Ihr irgendwo ein Herz mit unterbringen... ;O)

The theme over at Belles´n´Whistles is "favourite things". So make a card using all those things you can´t craft without. BUT since it is valentine´s day you have to add at least one heart somewhere.

Bei Cupcake Craft lautet das Thema "I {heart} you" - und Ihr solltet mindestens ein Herz auf der Karte unterbringen. Ihr seht, beide Challenge passen also auch noch prima zusammen....

At Cupcake Craft the theme is "I {heart} you" - and you should include at least one heart. You see, those two challenges match each other perfectly...

Belles´n´Whistles Challenge vom 11. Oktober 2010

Es ist Montag, und somit auch Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Belles´n´Whistles. Die findet ja jetzt immer alle 2 Wochen statt... Doch diesmal ist es eine ganz besondere Challenge: Es ist die allererste auf unserem neuen und von Lynda eigens und einfach fantastisch designeten Challenge-Blog!

It´s monday and that means: Belles´n´Whistles challenge time. We have a new challenge every two weeks now.... But this time it is a very special one: It´s the very first one at our new and by our very own Lynda so wonderfully designed challenge blog!

Das Thema lautet diesmal "Herbstfarben"... All die wunderbar warmen Farben, die zu leuchten scheinen wenn die Herbstsonne darauf fällt.

This week´s theme is "fall colors"... All those beautiful warm colors that seem to glow when the fall sun hits them.

Endlich konnte ich mal wieder "Scarecrow and Little Wizzard" aus der letztjähringen Herbstkollektion verwenden. Ich finde das Motiv einfach zu süß! Und es ist nicht nur perfekt für die klassischen Halloween-Farben, sondern wirkt auch wunderschön in Brauntönen...

Finally I was able to use "Scarecrow and Little Wizzard" from last years fall collection again. This image is just too cute! And it´s not only great to use with the classic halloween colors but also looks beautiful colored in browns...

Passend zu den Farben und der Vogelscheuche habe ich nur etwas Bast als Deko verwendet, dazu einen selbst-gepunchten Knopf, die gestanzte Ecke und zwei kleine Blumen. Mehr braucht es hier doch gar nicht, oder?

Matching the colors on my cards and the scarecrow image I just used some bast, a self-punched button, the punched corner and two little flowers. Is there more you need in this case? I don´t think so...

Schönen Dienstag - wobei "schön" hier relativ ist. Es regnet in Strömen... Darum auch schon mal Entschuldigung für die schlechten Fotos - Tageslicht ist Mangelware.

Happy tuesday! Being happy is quite hard today - the rain is pouring since hours... So I also have to say sorry for the bad pictures - even the day light is too dark for taking a good one today.

Enstanden ist die Karte nach diesem Sketch von Double Dutch:

Weil die Linie rechts unterbrochen ist dachte ich es soll eine Falz-Linie sein - und habe, wie auch eines der DT Mitglieder, hier eine kleine "Klappe" eingebaut:

Since the line on the right side is broken I thought this is meant to be a scoring fold - and so I added a flap like also one of the DT members did:


Die Farben sind eine Vorgabe von Our Creative Corner: Marina Mist, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede und Early Espresso.
Und somit passen sie auch zur Farbvorgabe von Take Time For You: braun und eine andere Farbe, in meinem Fall dann natürlich blau.

And so they go hand in hand with the colors are Take Time For You: brown and one additional color - which of course is blue in my case.

Und bei A Spoon Full Of Sugar heißt es "Spots and Stripes" - Punkte und Streifen. Die Streifen verstecken sich bei mir im Karo-Muster. Sind ja auch nur Streifen, kreuzweise übereinander gedruckt, richtig?

And at A Spoon Full Of Sugar the new challenge is called "spots and stripes". The stripes on my card can be found on the checked paper. These are also stripes painted cross wise, right?

Ich habe hier die "Tilda with Cherries" aus der Cozy Autumn Collection von Magnolia verwendet. Da die Farbvorgabe aber blau und nicht rot war habe ich die Kirschen kurzerhand zu Blaubeeren umfunktioniert. Und innen habe ich dann neben dem Text von Stampin´Up den "Lovely Fence" verwendet. Der ist einfach zu süß!

I used "Tilda with Cherries" from the Cozy Autumn Collection by Magnolia here. Since the given colors was blue, not read I just "changed" the cherries into "blueberries". Under the flap I used the Lovely Fence die - it´s just too cute!

So, hier bin ich schon wieder... Diesmal mit einer Karte, die ich nach dem Sketch von Take Time For You gemacht habe: Here I am again... This time to show you a card I made following the sketch from Take Time For You: Außerdem habe ich das Thema von Lovely Hänglar eingebaut: Lace. Und dasselbe Thema gibt es auch bei der 2. Challenge von Wild Orchid Crafts. I also included the theme of Lovely Hanglar: lace. And at Wild Orchid Crafts they picked the same theme for their 2nd challenge. Bei Cutie Sunday heißt es diesmal "Schnörkel". At Cutie Sunday the new challenge is called "flourish". Die Practical Scrappers möchten, daß wir diesmal 7 - oder mehr - verschiedene Dinge für unser Werk verwenden. Ich habe: Stempelmotiv, Spitze, Perlen, Motivpapier, Cardstock, Blumen, Blätter und Die Cuts verwendet. Practical Scrappers want us to use 7 - or more - different things for our project this week. I went with: stamped image, lace, pearls, patterned paper, cardstock, flowers, leaves and die cuts. Und zu guter Letzt sind da noch die Farben, die eine Vorgabe von SPCC sind: soft suede, crumb cake und certainly celery. And last but not least there are the colors that are given by SPCC: soft suede, crumb cake and certainly celery.

Und bei Take Time For You soll Spitze verwendet werden.
