Schönen Dienstag Morgen!
Heute zeige ich Euch wieder eine Karte mit einem der süßen Stempel von Sugar Nellie.

Happy tuesday morning!
As every tuesday I share another Sugar Nellie creation with you today.

Der Stempel auf meiner Karte ist in Wirklichkeit ein Digi, designed von Diane Duda und heißt Best Buds. Ich finde dieses Motiv einfach großartig und auch wenn Jungenkarten wohl eher weniger weit oben auf der "Dinge-die-ich-gerne-mache"-Liste stehen, dieses Motiv hat es mir wirklich leicht gemacht. Es ist wunderbar zu colorieren - und wenn ich es anschaue muss ich grinsen.
Dekomäßig habe ich mich zurückgehalten - etwas Cheesecloth, ein Knopf, zwei Sterne und etwas Distressing müssen reichen. Dafür gibt der schwarze Cardstock einen schönen Kontrast.

The stamp I used here is actually a digi designed by Diane Duda. It's called Best Buds. I just love this image and even if those boys' cards aren't on top of my "things-I-love-to-make"-list, this image made it easy. It's so great to color in and whenever I look at it I just have to smile.
I didn't add a lot of decoration - some cheesecloth, a button, two stars and some distressing had to do it. But the black cardstock I used for the matting really adds to the card.

Ich habe wieder eines der Motive von Belles'n'Whistles verwendet: Ice Cream Butterfly. Ein tolles Motiv für den Sommer, darum auch der Text, den ich mit dem PC geschrieben habe.
Der Schmetterling hat eine Ladung Stickles abbekommen, außerdem habe ich den Glitzer-Brad und ein paar Glitzersteine mit verarbeitet.

I used one of the cute images by Belles'n'Whistles again: Ice Cream Butterfly. A great image for any summer-ish card so I printed a matching saying with my home printer.
I covered the butterfly with Stickles, added the rhinestone brad and a few small rhinestones as well.

Ich habe hier eine der süßen Feen von Sugar Nellie verwendet. Irgendwie ist diese Woche Sugar-Nellie-Woche auf meinem Blog. LOL Aber ich war um die Feen schon ewig herumgeschlichen und vor kurzem habe ich mir dann endlich 3 bestellt. Es werden aber sicher nicht die letzten gewesen sein! Passend zur Farbvorgabe habe ich der Kleinen sogar pinkfarbene Haare gegeben... Und Ihren Freund den Frosch finde ich einfach zu süß!

I used one of the cute fairys by Sugar Nellie. Seems like this is a Sugar-Nellie-Only-Week on my blog. LOL But I was looking at these fairies since quite a while and few days ago I went ahead and ordered 3. Well, I think those won't be the last ones! Matching the giving colors I also used pink for her hair.... And her friend the little froggy is just too cute!

Ich habe hier den "Lesender Cherubim" verwendet, außerdem die Taube aus dem Stanzenset Zeichen des Glaubens und zwei der Texte aus dem Set Banner Texte. Ich finde die Sprüche in diesem Text prima und auf der Karte wollte ich es so aussehen lassen, als ob der Schutzengel auf der  Suche nach aufmunternden Sprüchen ist. 

Farblich habe ich mich an schwarz-weiß gehalten, auch wenn es keine Trauerkarte ist.

I used "Reading Cherub" here together with the dove from the die set "Religious Charms" and two of the sayings from the german text set Banner Texte. I love these sayings and on the card I wanted it to look like the angel is on the look for some cheering up text.
Even if this isn't a sympathy card I went with black and white as my colors.

Es ist wieder Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Cute Card Thursday. Diesmal haben wir ein einfaches Thema für Euch: anything goes.

It's time for a new challenge over at Cute Card Thursday. This week we have an easy theme for you: anything goes.

Ich habe die neuen Stempel von Magnolia bisher viel zu wenig benutzt - und darum Lili the Dragon für meine heutige Karte hervorgeholt. Es ist ja so eine Sache - wann paßt so ein Drache wirklich? Na, auf eine Baby-Karte, habe ich mir gedacht und darum diese Karte gewerkelt. Die Grundform der Karte habe ich mit der Cricut zusammengefügt und geschnitten (die kommt auch viel zu selten zum Einsatz). Dazu dann der Drache als Deko, ein Babyflaschen- und Schnullercharm, Sterne (Spellbinders) und ein kleines Waschetikett. Die kleinen Buchstaben sind mit der Big Shot gestanzt. So, jetzt muss mein Bruder nur noch einen Sohn bekommen... LOL

I didn't use many of the stamps from Magnolia's new collection - and so I brought out Lily the Dragon for today's card. Well, where do dragons fit? On a baby card, that's what I thought, and so decided to make this one. The letters have been welded and cut with my Cricut (another item I am not using enough). As decoration I added the little dragon, a baby bottle and a pacifier charm, stars (cut with Spellbinders) and a little information about caring. The small letters have been cut with the Big Shot. And now I hope my brother will have a little boy... LOL

Für meine Karte habe ich mich für weiß-rosa entschieden.

Rechts neben dem Motiv ist ein Schnörkel aus Folie ausgestanzt, den ich mit Sandpapier angerauht habe. So ist er nicht so aufdringlich und doch sieht die Seite nicht leer aus. 

Die Ästchen sind von Magnolia, links bei der Schleife versteckt sich noch ein silberner Kronen-Charm.

For my card I went with white and pink.

On the right to the image I added a flourish cut out from transparency that I used my sanding block on to raugh it up a bit. Now it's not taking too much attention but the top right is not looking empty.

The branches are by Magnolia, on the left, underneath the bow, there is a little silver crown charm.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 18. Februar 2012

Wunderschönen Samstag und willkommen zu einer neuen Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins! Diesmal zeigen wir Euch, wie Ihr einen Teelichthalter machen könnt - mit Glas, damit er auch benutzbar ist.

Happy saturday and welcome to another issue of Stempeleinmaleins. This week we have a tutorial for you for how to make such a tealight holder where you put in a glass so it can be used without danger.

Ein Motiv mit Kerze oder Laterne war hier natürlich perfekt - und Tilda bot sich hier dann an. Ich habe sie mit Copics coloriert und die Laterne und Lichtreflexe habe ich mit gelber Schimmerkreide gemacht. Im Hintergrund habe ich Zaun und Baum von Magnolia gesetzt und den Baum mit kleinen cremefarbenen Blüten etwas frühlingshaft gestaltet. Das Gras ist mit einer Stanze von Martha Stewart gemacht.

To use an image with a lantern or candle was something that came to my mind first - and Tilda was my # 1 choice. I colored her with Copics and used shimmer chalks to add the yellow candle light and reflexes. In the background I added the fence and tree by Magnolia and made the tree a little spring-ish by adding tiny cream blossoms. The grass is made using a Martha Stewart punch.

I wanted to make a summer card - and since the summer hasn't been nice at all so far I came across a german song. The refrain is something like "summer happens in your head". Well, and Tilda Celebrates Midsommar was the perfect image for that...

Hello and happy sunday morning! It's time for a new challenge over at Magnolia Down Under - and our theme this week is 3D or paper pole. You can either make the image 3D or just make something else with dimension.

Ich habe mich für eine schöne sommerliche Szene entschieden:

I created a cute summer scene:


Ich habe den Zaun, den Stone Patz und Tilda mit dem Drachen zur Szene montiert. Tilda ist dabei ausgeschnitten und in 3D auf den Hintergrund gesetzt. Und auch die Wolke und Sonne sind 3D aufgeklebt.

I used the fence, the Stone Path and Tilda with Kite to make this scene. Tilda is cut out and put on the scene using foam tape. And also the cloud and sun were added with foam tape.

Die Sonne und der runde Text sind selbstgemacht und bis auf den Schnörkel, die Blumen und die Spitze ist alles andere von Magnolia.

The sun and the round saying are made by me and everything else but the flourish, the flowers and the lace is by Magnolia.

Hallo Ihr Lieben und schönen Mittwoch! Es schaut fast so aus, als ob sich die Sonne heute endlich mal wieder blicken lassen würde. Da kommt man doch gleich in Sommerlaune - und darum gibt es heute eine sommerliche Karte von der See, gemacht für die neue Challenge bei Whiff Of Joy. Spitze und Perlen ist unser Thema.

Hello and happy wednesday! Seems like the sun finally found her way to our town and I hope she´ll stay for a while. I am really in the summer mood now - and so I made a summer-ish card, sent from the sea, made for the new challenge at Whiff Of Joy. Lace and pearls is what we picked for you this time.

Ich habe einen großen Spitzen-Kreis als Hintergrund verwendet, die Matrosin in blau-weiß coloriert und die Papiere farblich passend dazu ausgesucht. Das Stück "Schiffs-Tau", das Steuerrad-Charm und das Stempelset The Open Sea von SU (Schiff und Kompass) sorgen dann noch für das passende Drum-Rum.

I picked a big doily circle for the background, colored the sailor in blue and white and picked the matching papers. The piece of rope, the steering wheel charm and the stamp set The Open Sea by SU make the perfect additions to this.

Hallo und schönen Samstag! Es ist wieder Zeit für eine neue Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins und diesmal gibt es eine Anleitung für diese tolle Schürzenkarte. Egal, ob mit Garten- oder Küchenmotiven, die Schürze ist einfach nachzuarbeiten, und macht doch optisch ganz viel her.

Hallo und schönen Dienstag Morgen! Heute hat mein Schwiegervater Geburtstag, also gibt es diese Karte für ihn.

Hello and happy tuesday morning! It´s my father in law´s birthday today and so he gets this card from me.

Tilda´s Kleid ist mit Paper Piecing "coloriert", auf der Karte finden sich die üblichen Verdächtigen wie Cheesecloth, Distress Ink Crackle Paint, Blumen, Knöpfe und dazu ein paar Nähte.

I did some paper piecing on Tilda´s dress. On the card you can find the usual "can´t craft without those" like cheesecloth, Distress Ink Crackle Paint, flowers, buttons and a few stitches.

Zum Colorieren habe ich diese Copics verwendet - die Olivtöne habe ich für´s Schattieren der gepaper piecten (oh Gott, eine neue Wortschöpfung!) benutzt:

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 4. Juni 2011

Hallo und schönen Samstag! Es ist Zeit für eine neue Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins - diesmal mit einer Anleitung für eine Double Pocket Card. Je nachdem eine Karte oder "nur" ein Umschlag mit zwei diagonalen Taschen für Tags.

Hello and happy saturday! It´s time for a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins - and this week we have a tutorial for a double pocket card. It´s a card or "just" an envelope with two diagonal pocket in which you can put tags in.

Ich habe eine Vatertagskarte gefertigt - die Kartenform finde ich prima für Männer. Das süße Motiv von Vater Bär und Kind Bär ist von Lili of the Valley. Die Buchstaben und Sterne sind gestanzt, der große Stern ist mit kleinen Glaskügelchen überzogen.

I made a father´s day card - I think this type of card is great for men. The cute image of papa bear and child bear is by Lili of the Valley. The letters and stars are punched/die cut, the big star is covered with a bunch of tiny glass pearls.

Und so sieht meine Karte mit herausgezogenen Tags aus:

Die Tags sind von Magnolia - nur am Computer vergrößert, auf Designpapier übertragen und mit der Hand ausgeschnitten. Darauf sind dann noch die Shooting Stars von Magnolia gestempelt.

The tags are by magnolia - just made bigger on the computer, copied on designer´s paper and cut by hand. I also stamped the Shooting Stars by Magnolia on them.
