For Fun Challenges feiert seinen 1. Geburtstag und hat darum das Thema Geburtstag für diese Challenge gewählt.

At For Fun Challenges they are celebrating their first birthday and so they picked this as their theme for the new challenge.

Das Motiv ist von Lili of the Valley, der Text am Computer geschrieben. Und diesmal gibt es kein Copics-Bild, denn außer den Farben E51, E30, E000, E0000 und E93 für die Haut habe ich mal wieder meine Prismacolors zum Colorieren verwendet. Irgendwie war mir danach....

The image is by Lili of the Valley, the saying is computer generated. And this time I don´t have a pic of the Copics used - because except of E51, E30, E000, E0000 and E93 for the skin I didn´t use any. I just felt like using my Prismacolors again today....

Whiff Of Joy # 98

Hallo und willkommen hier an diesem Mittwoch! Es gibt eine neue Challenge bei Whiff Of Joy - und diesmal haben wir das Thema Paper Piercing für Euch ausgesucht. Ich habe das schon lang nicht mehr gemacht und es hat so viel Spaß gemacht. Um etwas mehr Dimension in das Motiv zu bringen, habe ich ein paar Schatten mit Prismacolor aufgebracht.
Nachdem ich mich gestern ziemlich geärgert habe paßt die Karte perfekt, um mich wieder aufzumuntern. Und dabei habe ich sie doch schon vor ein paar Tagen gemacht!

Happy wednesday! We have a new challenge starting over at Whiff Of Joy - and the theme this week is Paper Piercing. I haven´t done this in a long time and it was so much fun to do again. To add a little dimension to the image I added some shadows using my Prismacolor pencils.
Yesterday was a bad day and I am still feeling quite angry and sad but this card and it´s saying helps to make me happy again. As if I would have known it a few days before when I made this card!

Bei Lovely Hänglar Only lautet das Thema "take two" und es sollen mindestens zwei Hänglar-Stempel verwendet werden. Nun, auf meiner Karte ist das nicht sofort erkennbar aber sie sind da! Ich habe gestern das neue Kit "Message" bekommen. Darin sind "normale" Figuren mit herunterhängenden Armen und extra dazu zwei Schilder mit Händen, die sie halten. Ich habe also erst die Figur gestempelt und darüber mit 3D-Pads das Schild samt Hand geklebt. Darauf habe ich dann den Text von Studio G gestempelt.

At Lovely Hänglar Only the theme is "take two" and they want us to use at least two Hänglar stamps. Well, you can´t see it at first look but there are two images by Hänglar on my card. Yesterday I got the new "message" kit in the mail. It has "normal" characters with arms hanging down and extra two signs with a hand that holds them. So I stamped the character first and then put the sign with hand on top of it using 3D pads. On the sign I stamped the text by Studio G.

Everybody Art hat diesmal ein Rezept für uns: 3 Papiere, 3 Blumen und Band.

Für mich ist heute Premiere - es ist das erste Mal, daß ich nur eine Karte für zwei Designteams habe - denn es startet eine neue Challenge bei Cupcake Craft und auch bei Belles´n´Whistles... Aber mir ist die Zeit davon gelaufen und dann lieber nur eine Karte als gar keine, oder?

It´s a first for me today - it´s the first time that I have only one card for two designteams/challenge. There is a new one at Cupcake Craft and Belles´n´Whistles... But I got totally lost in time and so I thought better just one card than none, right?

Das Thema bei Belles´n´Whistles lautet "favourite things". Darum zeigt uns doch einfach eine Karte mit all den Dingen, die Ihr am liebsten verwendet. ABER weil Valentinstag ist, müßt Ihr irgendwo ein Herz mit unterbringen... ;O)

The theme over at Belles´n´Whistles is "favourite things". So make a card using all those things you can´t craft without. BUT since it is valentine´s day you have to add at least one heart somewhere.

Bei Cupcake Craft lautet das Thema "I {heart} you" - und Ihr solltet mindestens ein Herz auf der Karte unterbringen. Ihr seht, beide Challenge passen also auch noch prima zusammen....

Das Papier ist von Magnolia und ich liebe die Schnecken von LeLo. Sie hatte genau die richtige Größe für die doch recht kleine Verpackung. Beide Texte sind von Stampin´Up.

The paper is by Magnolia and I love those snails by LeLo. She had exactly the right size for the quite small wrapper. Both sentiments are by Stampin´Up.

Happy friday! Today I am going to share the birthday card I made for my oldest - she will turn 16 next wednesday (and since there are way cooler sites in the www than mom´s blog I can share it with you before she gets it).

Ich habe Windswept von Sugar Nellie verwendet - es ist süß und trotzdem cool genug. Und in schwarz-weiß coloriert natürlich erst recht. Außerdem ist das Motiv groß genug, daß es gegen den doch etwas gößer ausgefallenen Text ankommt.

I used Windswept by Sugar Nellie - it´s such a cute image but still cool enough for a 16 years old. The more since I used the color scheme of black and white. And the image is big enough to not get dominated by the quite large text.

Hallo und willkommen an diesem Donnerstag. Heute gibt´s mal was "zickiges" ;O). Die Karte ist nach dem Sketch von Lili of the Valley entstanden:

Hello and welcome here on this thursday. Today I have a little attitude... ;O) The card was made following the sketch from Lili of the Valley:


Das Motiv "It´s my Party" ist mir heute irgendwie auf den Basteltisch gehüpft. Ich habe das Geschenk nicht mit eingefärbt und so sieht es aus, als ob die Kleine sich gerade fürchterlich ärgern würde. Der Spruch ist eigentlich ein Stempel von Inkadinkado aber der war mir zu groß für das Motiv - darum habe ich ihn einfach selbst am PC getippt und die Schriftarten gefallen mir prima dazu.

The image is called "It´s my Party" and somehow it landed on my table today. I didn´t ink up the present she´s usually kicking away and so it looks as if she´s just terribly angry. The saying is originally a stamp by Inkadinkado but it was too big for the image - so I wrote it on the computer myself and the fonts I picked really match it, don´t you think?

Die Farbvorgabe Erdbeerrot, Creme und Schoko stammt von Colour Create.

The colors strawberry, chocolat and cream are given by Colour Create.

Bei Cute Card Thursday und PaperPlay lautet das Thema "Herzen und Blumen" wobei es bei PaperPlay keine Valentins-Karte sein darf.

Cute Card Thursday and PaperPlay both picked the theme "flowers and hearts" but at PaperPlay you aren´t allowed to make a valentine´s card.

Und bei Nightshift Stamping lautet das Thema "herzig". Ich habe ein kleines Herz neben den Text gesetzt, außerdem sind auf dem braunen Papier Herzen aufgedruckt.

And at Nightshift Stamping the theme is hearts. I put a small heart next to the saying and there are also hearts printed on the brown paper.

For einen etwas cooleren Look habe ich Distress Paint auf die Ränder aufgetragen, habe sie aufgerauht und außerdem habe ich auf der Karte an verschiedenen Stellen meinen Color Spritzer von Stampin´Up benutzt.

For a little cooler look I inked the edges with Distress Paint, distressed the edges of the matting papers and also used my color spritzer toll from Stampin Up on several areas of the card.

Zum Valentinstag die Zweite

Schönen Mittwoch! Kommen Euch die Farben, Papiere und Embellishments auf dieser Karte bekannt vor? Kein Wunder, denn sie stimmen mit denen der gestrigen Karte überein. So ist das, wenn man Zwillinge hat. Die Dinge dürfen unterschiedlich sein, aber natürlich nicht ZU unterschiedlich. Andere Farben? Hilfe, vielleicht erwische ich dann nur bei einer die absolute Modefarbe!LOL Weil Pia braunhaarig, Natascha blond ist, habe ich bei der Coloration etwas unterschieden und auch das Layout ist anders ausgefallen.

That´s how it goes if you have twins - things can be different but for sure not TOO different. Other colors? Better not - what if I pick the total in-colour just for one?LOL Since Pia has brown hair and Natascha is a blondie I made a difference in coloring the image and also used a different layout.

Nicht fehlen darf natürlich auch hier das Schokoherz! Nein, ich habe Euch nicht das selbe Foto zweimal untergejubelt - der rote Streifen hat ein anderes Muster ;O).

Of course one of the main things must be included here too: the chocolat heart! And no, I am not showing you the same pic like yesterday - the red strip is made from a different paper ;O).

Schönen Dienstag! Der Valentinstag rückt näher und darum sollte ich mal die Karten für meine Mädels machen. Heute ist die erste entstanden - mit eingebautem Schokoherz, das durch ein Loch in der Vorderseite zu sehen ist, in Wirklichkeit aber auf der Innenseite befestigt ist:

Happy tuesday! Valentine´s day is coming closer and so I should start to make those cards for my girls. Today I made the first of them - with a chocolate heart that you can have a peak of through a hole in the card front. Actually it is fixed to the inside of the card:

Innen findet dann noch der geplante Gutschein Platz... Mehr kann ich hier noch nicht verraten! ;O)

There will be gift voucher on the inside but I can´t talk about that yet... ;O)

Ich habe "Tilda with Balloon" verwendet und den runden Ballon durch einen herzförmigen ersetzt, frei Hand gezeichnet.

I used "Tilda with Balloon" here and painted a heart shaped balloon instead the "normal" one.

Entschuldigt bitte die Verspätung - irgendwie geht es heute - und auch schon das Wochenende - drunter und drüber... Aber jetzt finde ich ein paar Minuten, um meine Karte für die neue Challenge bei Cupcake Craft. "Rot" soll es sein, nicht nur aber auf jeden Fall auch.

Sorry for the delay in posting - it´s quite hectic today here and it has been like this all weekend long... But now I have a few minutes of free time and so I can post my card for our new challenge over at Cupcake Craft. "Red" is what we want to see - not only but you need to add some.

Ich hatte leider auch für die Karte zu wenig Zeit, und irgendwie schaut sie für mich nicht fertig aus. Nunja, so ist es jetzt nun mal.

Somehow there was also not enough time to make this card - it looks so unfinished to me. But well, that´s what it is.

Ich habe wieder eines der süßen Simply Sassy Motive verwendet - ist die kleine Hexe "Best Witches" nicht zuckersüß? Ich habe sie fast ausschließlich in rot coloriert und nur etwas braun dazugenommen. Dazu dann viele Herzen und den Text "Love" kombiniert und fertig ist eine süße Valentins-Karte. Die ist perfekt für eines meiner Mädels.

Again I used one of the sweet Simply Sassy images - isn´t that cutie called "best witches" one of the cutest witches you´ve ever seen? I colored her all in red and just added some brown for her hair and the broom. I combined a lot of hearts and the love text with it and voila - there you have a cute valentine´s card. Should be perfect for one of my cute girls!

Happy sunday! Another week has passed really quick - but that also means that we at Magnolia Down Under have a new challenge up for you! The theme is "love"...

Ich habe hier viele Teile aus der neuen You are so special Kollektion von Magnolia verwendet: Tilda with Heart, Love Background der prima auf den Vintage Tag paßt, das Rose Leaf, die Romantic Lace und die Antique Lace und sogar die Papiere: Lace Flower, Lot of Hearts und Love Letter. Sozusagen fast Magnolia pur!

I used a bunch of stuff from the new you are so special collection by Magnolia: Tilda with Heart, Love Background which fits wonderfully on the Vintage Tag Die, Rose Leaf, Romantic Lace and Antique Lace and even the papers: Lace Flower, Lot of Hearts and Love Letter. It´s nearly Magnolia only!

Wunderschönen Samstag Euch allen! Es ist wieder Zeit für eine neue Ausgabe des Stempeleinmaleins - und diesmal gibt es endlich die Anleitung für die Torten-Karte, nach der schon so viele gefragt haben.

Happy saturday! It´s time for a new issue of Stempeleinmaleins and this week we have the tutorial for how to make this cake card - finally since so many of you asked for it.

Natürlich habe ich es mir nicht nehmen lassen, eine neue Karte dafür zu machen. Dies ist die Front:

Dies ist eine etwas vereinfachte Variante mit nur einer Kerze. Die braucht dann auch keine Box sondern kann einfach mit etwas Band in der Karte befestigt werden.

This is a little simpler version with just one candle. And you don´t need a box for it but it´s enough to fix it with some ribbon.
