Stempeleinmalein - Ausgabe vom 31.07.2010

Es ist wieder Samstag - und somit Zeit für das Stempeleinmaleins. Und da es der letzte Samstag im Monat ist, gibt es eine neue Sketch-Challenge für Euch:

It´s saturday again - and so it´s time for Stempeleinmaleins. And since it´s the last saturday of the month we have a new sketch for you:


Für meine Karte habe ich das Motiv von Sugar Nellie auf Leinen gestempelt und dann ganz leicht mit Copics coloriert. Dazu habe ich farblich passende Papiere und Blumen ausgesucht, alles nicht zu kräftig, um den zarten Look nicht zu zerstören.

For my card I stamped the cute Sugar Nellie image on linnen and used some light Copics to color it in. I combined matching papers and flowers using light colors to not destroy the special look.

Schönen Freitag - und schönen Ferienanfang! Und nachdem die Zeugnisse meiner Mädels astrein ausgefallen sind, gönnen wir uns jetzt ein paar Wochen Nichts-Tun.... Aber damit meine ich nicht, daß das Basteln ausfällt! Und darum habe ich auch schon wieder eine neue Karte, die ich Euch zeigen möchte. Entstanden nach dem neuen Sketch von Just Magnolia:

Dutch Dare überläßt uns die Themenwahl mit der Challenge "anything goes".

Dutch Dare is letting us choose the theme with its new challenge "anything goes".

Die Daring Cardmakers haben ihre neue Challenge "it´s a girls thing" getauft. Da am 1. August "internationaler Beste-Freundin-Tag" und am 2. August "Schwestern-Tag" ist, soll eine Karte für entweder die beste Freundin oder die Schwester entstehen.

The Daring Cardmakers called their new challenge "it´s a girls thing". Since on august 1st is "girlfriend´s day" and on august 2nd "sisters day" we are asked to make a card for either our best friend or our sister.

Und bei Paper Pals Art heißt es "monochromatic"... Natürlich wieder mal braun bei mir ;O)

And at Paper Pals Art the dare is to make a monochromatic card.... Of course I used browns once again.... ;O)

Das Motiv ist "Tilda with a flower in her hair" aus der Osterkollektion von Magnolia. Ich habe vor dem Stempeln die Tinte von den Ostereiern, die sich eigentlich in der Schürze befinden, entfernt und anschließend kleine Herzen an die freie Stelle gestempelt.
Der Text ist von Catslife Press, die Papiere von My Mind´s Eye und Magnolia.

Auch heute habe ich eine Karte für Euch - entstanden unter anderem für die neue Challenge im Sugar Bowl. Dort darf diesmal einer der vorherigen Sketche gewählt werden - ich habe mich für diesen entschieden:

Und das Thema darf man auch selbst wählen.

Bei Simon Says heißt es diesmal "going dotty" - und wir sollen Punkte einbauen. Ich habe einmal das gepunktete Papier verwendet, außerdem sind welche auf dem Kleid der kleinen Fee.

At Simon Says they are going dotty this time - so add dots to your creations. I used that dotted paper and the pattern on the dress has dots as well.

"Anything goes" ist das neue Motto bei PaperPlay - und somit sind Thema, Farben und Layouts vollkommen uns überlassen.

Charisma Cardz hätte gerne "etwas mit Schwanz" - also habe ich mich für dieses Motiv entschieden. Die - wenn auch blaue - Katze hat schließlich einen Schwanz.

Charisma Cardz wants us to include "something with a tail" - so I went with this image since the cat has one. Even if it´s blue...

Und bei Hanna and Friends soll der Lieblingsfilm eingebaut werden. Nun, mein absoluter Lieblingsfilm ist eigentlich "3 Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel" - aber dazu hatte ich nun wirklich keinen passenden Stempel. Schließlich ist Aschenbrödel da ganz anders in allen anderen Aschenputtel-Verfilmungen. Statt dessen habe ich mich dann für "Feen" im allgemeinen entschieden. Tinkerbell, Ella, die Regenbogenfeen - ich finde sie einfach alle zauberhaft!

At Hanna and Friends we should include our favourite movie. Well, my alltime favourite is "3 nuts for cinderella" (as much as I know it never was translated in english, it´s an 1975 czech/east of Germany production). But I really didn´t have the right stamp for this since Cinderella is so totally different in this movie than she is in all other cinderella movies. Believe me, she´s a really tough one here! So I decided to go with fairies - Tinkerbell, Ella, the rainbow fairies. I think they are all magical and wonderful!

Whiff Of Joy Challenge # 84

Wunderschönen Mittwoch Euch allen! Heute startet eine neue Challenge bei Whiff Of Joy - und ich total stolz Euch endlich verraten zu dürfen, daß ich einer der neuen Designer für diesen tollen Challengeblog bin! Oh man, war das schwer das Geheimnis für mich zu behalten! ;O)

Happy wednesday to all of you! Today a new challenge over at Whiff Of Joy is starting - and I am so proud to finally be able to announce that I am one of the new DT members for this great challenge blog! Boy, that was hard to keep the secret! ;O)

Das Thema der Challenge is "fuzz" - also soviel wie fluffig oder fusselig oder... Auf jeden Fall könnt Ihr Dinge wie Fell, Filz, Flower Soft, Fun Flock etc. verwenden um Euren Kreationen einen "fuzzy" Look zu verleihen.
Ich habe die Fellränder der Kleidung mit Fun Flock - weiß sowie am Rand hellgrau für den Schatten - überzogen. Die Blumen habe ich aus Nicki-Stoff gemacht und die "Schneebälle" sind fertige PomPoms. Für den extra eisigen Look habe ich auf den Papierblumen, den Ästen und rund um das Motiv Rock Candy Stickles verteilt, die aber auf dem Foto gar nicht gut rüberkommen...
Für das Motiv habe ich gleich 3 Whiff Of Joy Stempel kombiniert: die Schneeflocke aus dem Winterkit 2009, den Schlitten mit Geschenken (von denen ich vor dem Stempeln die Tinte abgewischt habe, um nur den Schlitten zu erhalten) und natürlich den Willow-Stempel. Die Papiere sind von Prima, K&Co und Ladybug and Friends.

The theme of this week´s challenge is "fuzz"... So, use all those stuff like felt, fur, flower soft, fun flock... to add that special touch of fuzziness to your creations.
I added fun flock to the fur - white and some light grey on the edges for some depth. The flowers are made from fuzzy fabric and those "snowballs" are ready made fluffy things called pompoms. For an extra icey look I covered the paperflowers, the branches and the edges around the image with some Rock Candy Stickles - but this is hard to see on the photo...
For the image I used 3 differen Whiff Of Joy stamps: the snowflakes from the winter kit 2009, the sleigh with presents (which I removed the ink from the presents before stamping) and of course that cute Willow stamp. Papers are by Prima, K&Co and Ladybug and Friends.

A Pocket Full Of Posies # 3, Cards und More # 5 und Everybody Art # 101

Dienstag - noch 3 Tage Schule, dann sind auch bei uns endlich Ferien... Bis dahin genieße ich die Bastel-Vormittage. Heute ist dabei diese Karte entstanden - nach dem Sketch von Everybody Art. Da ich das Papier recht nah am Motiv geschnitten hatte, sah es etwas verloren aus und ich habe mal wieder eine Lage Papier dazugeschummelt - ich hoffe, das nimmt mir nicht irgendwann mal wer übel!

Tuesday - another 3 days of school and then also my girls will have summer holidays... Until then I am enjoying the craft time mornings. Today I made this card - using the sketch from Everybody Art. Since I cut the paper quite close to the image it looked a bit lost on the card so I once again added a layer of paper. I really hope no one is feeling angry with me one day!

So, hier bin ich schon wieder... Diesmal mit einer Karte, die ich nach dem Sketch von Take Time For You gemacht habe: Here I am again... This time to show you a card I made following the sketch from Take Time For You: Außerdem habe ich das Thema von Lovely Hänglar eingebaut: Lace. Und dasselbe Thema gibt es auch bei der 2. Challenge von Wild Orchid Crafts. I also included the theme of Lovely Hanglar: lace. And at Wild Orchid Crafts they picked the same theme for their 2nd challenge. Bei Cutie Sunday heißt es diesmal "Schnörkel". At Cutie Sunday the new challenge is called "flourish". Die Practical Scrappers möchten, daß wir diesmal 7 - oder mehr - verschiedene Dinge für unser Werk verwenden. Ich habe: Stempelmotiv, Spitze, Perlen, Motivpapier, Cardstock, Blumen, Blätter und Die Cuts verwendet. Practical Scrappers want us to use 7 - or more - different things for our project this week. I went with: stamped image, lace, pearls, patterned paper, cardstock, flowers, leaves and die cuts. Und zu guter Letzt sind da noch die Farben, die eine Vorgabe von SPCC sind: soft suede, crumb cake und certainly celery. And last but not least there are the colors that are given by SPCC: soft suede, crumb cake and certainly celery.

Die 2. Challenge bei Bunny Zoe´s Craft trägt den Titel "Summer Days" - und Eis und Sommer gehören untrennlich zueinander.

The 2nd challenge over at Bunny Zoe´s Craft is called "summer days". Ice cream and summer are somthing that goes together hand in hand.

Auch bei Sir Stampalot dreht sich diesmal alles um den Sommer - wie auch immer man das interpretiert.

And also at Sir Stampalot it´s all about summer this month - however you interpret this theme.

Bei Crafty Pad lautet das Thema "vintage" - darum habe ich viel Braun verwendet um die Karte wie eines der alten Sepia-Fotos aussehen zu lassen.

At Crafty Pad the new theme is "vintage" so I used a lot of brown tones to make the card look a bit like one of those old sepia photos.

Ich habe heute zum ersten Mal Tilda mit der Eiscreme verwendet (schäm - sie ist doch schon ein Jahr alt!)... Der runde Text ist von Catslife Press, das "enjoy" Teil eines älteren Weihnachtsstempels von Stampin´Up, die Papiere sind von K&Company und Magnolia.

Wunderschönen Sonntag! Es ist wieder Zeit für eine neue Challenge bei Magnolia Down Under - diesmal mit dem Thame "Christmas in July". Bei dem kühleren Wetter, das draußen herrscht, fühlt man sich gleich etwas weihnachtlicher, oder?

Happy sundy! It´s time for another challenge over at Magnolia Down Under - and we have picked the theme of "christmas in july" for you this week. Well, with the cold weather outside it´s easier to feel a bit christmassy, right?

Ich habe meine Karte in grün-weiß-gold gehalten. Dafür habe ich alle Ränder mit goldfarbenem Embossingpulver überzogen. Der Text und die Weihnachtskugel (Stempel und Stanzer) sind von Stampin´Up, die Papiere von Magnolia und K&Company.

I used green, cream and gold for my cards. For the special touch I covered all edges with golden embossing powder. The saying and the christmas ornament (stamp and punch) are by Stampin´Up, papers by Magnolia and K&Company.

Stempeleinmaleins - Ausgabe vom 24. Juli 2010

Schönen Samstag - auch wenn es hier in Bayern in Strömen regnet... Aber das heißt mehr Bastelzeit :O). Und so hatte ich auch Zeit, einen der TicTac Holder von JayJay zu machen, für die wir heute auf dem Stempeleinmaleins die Anleitung für Euch haben. Sie sind eine tolle Kleinigkeit zum Verschenken und schnell gemacht. Und wenn die Packung leer ist, kann man sie einfach ersetzen.

Happy saturday - even if the rain is pouring here in Bavaria... But that means: more crafting time :O). And so I had enough time to make on of the cute TicTac Holders Jay Jay created. And we have the tutorial for those on the Stempeleinmaleins blog today. They are a great giveaway and also fast to make. And if they are empty you can simply switch the boxes and "refill" the holder.

Schönen Donnerstag! Etwas spät, aber besser als gar nicht zeige ich Euch die heutige Karte. Sie ist nach dem Sketch von Lili of the Valley entstanden (dem ich eine extra Lage papier gegönnt habe):

Happy thursday! Quite late but better than never I am showing you today´s card. It was made using the new sketch from Lili of the Valley (which I added an extra layer to):


Die Farben sind die neue Vorgabe bei PaperPlay: blau, creme und eine zusätzliche Farbe Deiner Wahl. In meinem Fall braun.

The colors are the new dare by PaperPlay: blue, cream and one additional color of your choice. I went with brown as the third one.

Und bei Digi Doodle Shop heißt es diesmal "anything goes" - es ist also alles erlaubt.

Das Motiv auf meiner Karte ist ein weiteres der süßen Lili of the Valley Weihnachtsmotive - ich finde sie einfach wunderbar! Die Ränder um das Motiv sowie die Röschen haben eine Lage glitzerndes Embossinpulver bekommen, um den Effekt von Eiskristallen zu imitieren. Alle anderen Ränder sind mit weißer Crackle Paint überzogen. Die Papiere sind quer Beet aus meinem Vorrat.

The image on my card is another one of the cute new christmas images by Lili of the Valley. I just love them! The edges around the image and also the roses got a layer of glittering embossing powder to imitate the look of ice. All the other edges are covered with white Crackle Paint. Papers are all different brands from my stash.

Ich habe hier "Eric" von The Greeting Farm verwendet. Der Text ist von Stampin´Up, die Knöpfe sind mit einer Sternstanze selbst gemacht. Passend zur Hose habe ich außerdem ein paar Sicherheitsnadeln eingebaut.

Ich habe "A Child´s Prayer" aus der neuen "Forever Young Collection" verwendet. Die Kanten habe ich sowohl mit Distress Ink als auch mit dem Edge Distresser bearbeitet. Außerdem habe ich einige der Papiere mit Sandpapier abgeschliffen.
